- Zelenko (3/5): Your experience here can be great or not so great - Convenient central location. Got attracted to the aesthetics of the historical building. Nice welcoming staff Our room didn’t look like the photos on the advertisement. It was certainly clean and kept well but it’s not what we expected from the photos. 1st floor room, windows sealed and not possible to open at all, will little air circulation and hot weather this becomes a torture. Tucked away at the very back of the building our room had a spectacular view on the bins and a metal staircase right outside our window which was consistently used starting 7am. Imagine being woken up by people walking right outside your window- scaffolding style. Hoping that a nice cup of tea can rescue the situation we reached for the kettle only to find out that kettle has an intense bleach smell inside. Bleach in food is unpleasant and also fairly dangerous. I’m happy we only had to say here 1 night

Breakfast was one of the finest for choice and preparation. Staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Location was perfect: walking distance to everything The small things made the stay personal and memorable: brownies plus a note in the room, shortbread and apples in the lobby, umbrellas for use, etc. There was nothing to dislike!

- Martin (9/5): Comfortable, conveniently situated and well run hotel built around a historic inn. - This is a very comfortable hotel built around a lovely, historic inn in the centre of Stratford. It is nicely situated around 10 minutes walk from both the train station and the Shakespeare theatres. The hotel is very professionally and efficiently run. The staff are uniformly pleasant and the hot breakfasts, served at the table, are excellent. Highly recommended!

The location is very good, easy to walk to the attractive centre. If you have a Blue Badge you can park free in the multi-storey just across the road. The hotel has bags of character and old-fashioned charm Despite our apparent age we were not offered porterage on arrival (after that Reception staff were pleasant and helpful). Our room was small and the bathroom cramped, with little space for toiletries etc.Bed not over-comfortable. We didn't feel easy with a connecting door to the next room, so they obligingly moved us to a room for disabled (which we are), which had a better bed-whose size bizarrely meant a very tight squeeze to get into on one side. TV in the hotel appears to be limited to basic terrestrial channels. Didn't enjoy our dinner in the restaurant, but oodles of restaurants within easy walking distance

- Evans (9/5): Great Stay - I didn't actually stay as I bought this as a Christmas gift to my parents. Naturally I was anxious if I had picked well! They had nothing but good things to say. They sent me a video of the bathroom which looked gorgeous, with which bathrobes, roll top bath and walk in shower. There was a bag of thank you chocolates on arrival too which was a lovely touch. They commented there were lots of staff and they were very helpful. The breakfast was also a hit. There isn't anything they didn't like

- Megan MM (9/5): Nice Stop on Our Road Trip - We stayed here as my partner's grandparents actually had their honeymoon here 60-some years ago! Beautiful historic hotel in a historic town's center. Bed and facilities were comfortable. After coming from another Fuller Hotel where a Cafe Latte was included in the breakfast, it was disappointing to hear it would be an extra charge at this location. The room had a slight musky/old(?) smell.

Location was on the edge of the town centre Had to ask for the remote control to be cleaned, it was filthy. Often an item that gets forgotten by cleaners.

- Dila (10/5): - We were very pleased with the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We appreciated the welcome treat, the complimentary water and Nespresso in the room. We were especially pleased with the attention from the receptionist, Jemma. The hotel is very close to the train station and within walking distance of historical sites in the city center. We also tried the hotel restaurant's Thursday steak night; it was really good.
- Fiona (9/5): Superb place to stay for work or leisure - A really lovely hotel, very conveniently located and extremely good for the price. The team are wonderful - so helpful, warm and welcoming. The rooms are lovely and have all the facilities you need. Breakfast choices are a bit limited and you have to pay for coffee choices other than filter. These are very minor points, however - I have stayed at this hotel several times and will certainly return if I go back to Stratford-Upon_Avon.

- Kimberly (10/5): Luxury hotel treatment at reasonable prices! - Excellent location and the room was much larger than I expected. Beautifully apportioned with a lovely welcome gift from the staff. Made me feel like a VIP! The included breakfast was the most extensive breakfast I've ever experienced with full service, along with self serve cold bar, a variety of options for the hot breakfasts including gluten free and vegetarian options. All served in the breakfast room which looks like something straight out of Shakespeare's time! Lovely experience all around.

- Julie (6/5): I love this hotel, but on this visit the staff were not of the usual standard. - Beautiful hotel, lovely and clean. Comfortable beds. Really quite noisy! I did not get much sleep. I did not like one of the reception staff. I was also promised 15% off restaurant prices, but t was told on arrival this was no longer valid, despite me being given this info in an email from the hotel. I cancelled my dinner reservation. Fortunately, I was able to find somewhere else, or there would have been huge problems getting food! Not impressed!
