Super helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Additionally, they offer a variety of daily activities for you to join, and you can book many outside activities directly at the hostel or through their website, which was really helpful. And the location is perfect—it's really close to the beach, and there’s so much to do around the area. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Whether you’re traveling solo or with a group, I highly recommend staying here! Nothing everything was perfect.

• Michael (9/5): Great place except for a rude guest - The location was great, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and there was plenty of space to cook in the kitchen. The wifi didn't work most of the time I was there, but I found out a day before I left that the password wasn't the word on the paper at the front desk, which was the wifi name, not the password. On my last day there, there was a rude guest who took the spot where I was sitting when I clearly left my things there to come back to after being gone for just 5 minutes in the kitchen, because he said, "I've been sitting there all day." It was less than 3 hours, and had he bothered to ask, he would know that I was leaving soon. Also, I roomed with a bunch of pigs who left their towels and things all over the shower floor.

• NOBUYUKI (9/5): 安く便利に泊まれた。 - 事前にドミトリーの２段ベッドの下段をリクエストをしていたので、 ドミトリーの部屋に入ったら、私の名前の貼り紙を置いてくれて 確保してくれた。 素晴らしい！ ドミトリーの部屋の中に共同トイレシャワーがあるので 部屋から出てではないので便利だった。 ドミトリーの安宿なのに、大きいタオルが１枚付いているのが助かる １階受付に無料セルフの珈琲がある！ ワイキキビーチに近いし、近くに食堂もスーパーもあり ビールも食料も買えた。 建物の入り口が施錠されていて、入り方がわからずに 近くの人に中から開けてもらった。 後ほど自分と同じ感じになってる人も見かけた。 最初の入場がインターホンなどが無い？のか手間取る。 シャワー室にシャンプーが無いのは仕方ないけど、 あるととても助かる。
• Globby (7/5): Très bien pour un profil "roots" - Personnel absolument merveilleux, ambiance accueillante, situation géographique idéale, possibilité de louer surfs et accessoires de plage Lits et chambres vraiment spartiates, climatisation polaire, environnement très bruyant, wifi peu fiable (impossible de s'y connecter la nuit pour commander un Uber vers l'aéroport !). Bien pour un profil "roots" ou séjour court.

• Vivian (7/5): Overall, would stay again but would pack lighter, label things, bring mirror and extension cord lol - The location is amazing, the roommates were all friendly and respectful, there was a place for my belongings/fridge/charger port, and the room had AC. First come, first served on the bunk beds can be intimidating if you're new to hostel life. I would have liked an outlet in the bathroom to be able to blow-dry or style my hair while in front of a mirror lol. Pack light if u end up on the top floor because there is no elevator!

Love the outside kitchen, big giant fridge with lockers to put your fridge in . Spacy cooking area outside. Also how clean the staff keep the common area. Each night at ten, it's quiet time and they clean up like Santa's little helpers. So nice to walk in to a clean space, first thing in the morning. Also, they keep the office and shared bathroom, really clean. It would be nice if newcomers could be informed to be mindful of the amount of noice they make when they come in after ten at night. Also maybe a note to let people know one bathroom needs to be shared so not to stay in for as long.And even though the bright lights are great in the day, after ten, less would be better.

• Miras (7/5): Overall the stay was good. Good value for money - Great location, 100 away from Waikiki beach Internet went down one night. I didn't like living at the 4th floor, quite a climb on a daily basis
• Regina (10/5): 5 Years Experience as a Polynesian Hostel Beach Club Guest & Yes I'll Be Back! - I love the communal feeling of the hostel and getting to know people from around the world! Having cooking facilities is wonderful for those of us with special dietary needs. I love sharing quality food I cook with the younger generations staying there. Being an empty nester getting the chance to teach and nurture a younger guest and sharing cooking styles with those from other cultures is extremely enjoyable! Love the big refrigeration unit, it's much better than the old fridges. The increased lounge area with turf for the hammocks, nest chair and bench seating and games is great, and was well utilized by many guests during my 8 day stay. I've been coming yearly the past 5 years, except I could not come due to surgery in 2025, so I'm making up for it by coming twice this year, Lol. This stay I noticed the mattresses are starting to show an uncomfortable unevenness in the spring compression, several other repeat PHBC guest mentioned it in conversations also. Seems like it's time for new mattresses. A mattress rotation schedule could be instituted with staff, to lengthen durability and life of the mattresses. Being flipped over lengthwise twice monthly should do the trick. Additionally, no longer having a freezer for customer use is not a good thing. Liquifying and dripping, from frozen items put in the refrigerator causes unnecessary messes for staff to clean and it drips on other guests foods below the source. Some of us use ice in our water as well. A single apartment size freezer would be great to alleviate that issue.

• Constanza (8/5): Great, staff was nice super helpful - Everything was ok for the price, i didn't rate it higher cuz it was annoying not having where to plug my phone to charge it. And the matress where not that great. Better mattres and have a spot to plug the phones or chargers… not an extension cord that if uou where in your bunk in the too bed was impossible to use

Very patient. I have heard great things about your Hostel; couldn't wait to stay with you! Perfect location by the beach; but affordable!! Needed a big rice cooker of brown rice and a crock pot of stew, lentil soup, and/or Chicken/Tofu Papaya with Moringa (india/philipino Rx Spice)... Also, maybe needed firmer pillow-helps alot for supporting neck & back; also a light cotton blanket?
