- Ellie (5/5): Satisfactory kind of - It was a very good location not far from the beach at all and the staff were friendly and helpful. Very good if you’re not spending much time in the room and just need it for a bed for the night and somewhere to store your things. The shower worked and was hot just goes all over the toilet. Nice little balcony We stayed for four nights and the room wasn’t cleaned while we were there nor was there a change of towels. We didn’t get any extra toilet roll. There was ants everywhere

- Jess (1/5): Rotten Peach Guesthouse. - Nothing, really. The wrong building and rooms are advertised (yep, 10 year old photos of their last building). When we told them our air con os not working and our toilet is not flushing, they just sent 3 men to the room to umm and ahh over the devices. It was not until we said we will find something else that they offer us another room with working facilities. Regardless, we were not happy that the room and building was COMPLETELY different to what they were advertising, so we had to be on the phone to the english-speaking daughter who would yell at us, hang up on us, and all up it was a disgusting experience. The conclusion was: pay 1 night cash and we refund the money. IN A MONTH. How convenient when the thai visa will expire.. Dodgy all round folks. Haad rin is so built up- if you want to experience the true essence of Thailand and the loving energy of the people, go to rhe east side of the island. Worth the drive. The attitude, the dishonesty and the false advertising of their property.
- Sheldon (2/5): Served its purpose, having shelter for my visit. But poor. - Close to the full moon festivities Toilet had old waste in it when I arrived. Not very clean. The drain for sink would flood the bathroom because the pipe had rotted through (making the sink unusable) When I mentioned this to the manager, she simply said “nobody else complained”. Absolute joke.

- Seán (6/5): Pleasant - As basic as it gets. But good location, beach 2 minute walk, you're in Haad Rin town and Queens Pier is 2 minutes away. If you're not fussed by fancy things and intend on not spending much time in room, it's perfect. I was comfortable and safe. Bed was pretty comfy and WiFi good. Also warm shower They only gave you a very light child's blanket for bed. No toilet roll provided. Old towels. It needs a good doing up really.

- Cooper (7/5): Great value for money - People are gonna say what they want about this property but it’s a great value for money and the lady who owns it is extremely lovely! The location is what sold us, 5 minutes walk from had rin beach!

There were ants all over the floor in our room. There was cobwebs and dirty sheets in our room. Not liveable at all we had to book another hotel.

- Trevor (10/5): magically unexpected - the owner, she’s a nice mom lady taking care of her family. the place has felt the hit of Covid and it may not be for everyone. but her spirt, perseverance and unyielding kindness is worth the minor issues not worth mentioning. she held my stuff safely without charging while I was stuck on another island. roof top access if you ask nicely. the view of the full moon party was breathtaking for one of the cheapest stays on the island. private room cheaper than the hostels laundry out the front step, food and beach minutes away. if you have a warm heart and seek an economic stay this is your best bang for buck stay in my opinion. if you want a resort go to a resort. but if you want to be remembered stay here. I tip okay but she offered me discount rates to stay when I left. memorable with no communication it’s all there, you have to come and see for yourself

- Elan (1/5): We couldn’t stay. had to pay the $80 for the night and then go find another hotel - Nothing The staff were unhelpful, the room wasn’t ready when we got there so they asked us to wait for them to clean it… although not sure what they did in that time as the bed sheets were dirty and stained, there was old rubbish in the room, the bed had a plastic cover under the sheet which crinkled if you slight touched it/moved,the walls and curtains were stained, bugs and ants all over inside.
