• Walter (5/5): Okay, - Location. Good breakfast lady in the dining room kitchen was very nice. Room 217 was not cleaned at check in, dirty towels, dirty sheet, toilet paper in the bathroom basket, they had given us the wrong room, moved up to room 317.

Well, the property had roaches this was the biggest down fall. They didn’t have a lot of cookware. The breakfast didn’t have many options. It was basically the same everyday. The coffee maker was really dirty and old.

The shower took forever to deliver hot water, so I had to take a couple cold showers. And the aircon took about 4 hours to cool down the room upon arrival; it's underpowered.

• Jennifer (10/5): It was excellent! - The suite was large and included a full kitchen, dining room, sitting area, bed and bathroom. The receptionist was outstanding. I booked this for my son and two friends through Booking.com. I misunderstood and thought that I had paid ahead of time with my credit card, but apparently, I had not paid and my son was asked to pay for the room at check in. He did not have a credit card, but he called me, passed the phone to the receptionist and we proceeded to solve the issue through direct deposit. The receptionist was patient, courteous, and super helpful. He allowed the boys to register as soon as I sent him a picture of the bank transfer and before he got a notification from the bank. Then, he informed me when he received the notification himself and sent me a receipt both by WA and email knowing that I would receive WA immediately. The fact that nowhere on my Booking.com reservation did it explain that the Hotel's policy is to charge you when you arrive.

Safe neighborhood. You just can't go wrong in this place. Next time in Santo Domingo is a must. It's been my home away from home for years and will continue to be. No other place like Plaza Florida Suites.

The rooms are big, the beds are comfortable, the location is great. But the best feature of the hotel is the great staff. Always exceeding your expectations. I will return.

Staff are gems, very helpful, friendly, good cleaning services, staffs are kind to me & my family, security guard is good & helpful. Breakfast is nice, warm milk provided, fruits in a bowl, boiled cracked eggs, having chef to do pancakes & eggs menu, etc. Proper kitchen, big fridge we didn’t cook however we could easily clean milk baby bottles & make a cup of coffee in the room. The hotel is located in nice area, also having very nice restaurants near by the hotel, we love to eat at the Italian restaurants & chilling the coffee shop a lot. Wish the property has swimming pool. AC the first room was not working we had to move out to another room that a little smaller, the AC of the new room was loud however it’s cold, so we were fine with it.
