Was only a couple of things we weren’t happy with eg- toilet button was broken and couldn’t flush straight after flushing first time, shower handle wasn’t attached and fell off every time we showered, and the fan didn’t work properly so bathroom steamed up straight away and staff weren’t the friendliness.

- Pieter (6/5): Good position - The apartment was quite good . Spacious with most things needed . It is in a good spot in Docklands . The tv remote didn’t work and no tv remote for bedroom tv, but if your going to stay just for tv ,stay home. There is a good pool with in the building we stayed at.. I think there are a couple of apartment blocks that use the same reception . Shopping and eateries are plentiful and Docklands is getting bigger.. It’s not 5 star but it doesn’t claim to be . Overall a good place to stay.. I would stay there again ..

Pool was like ice and unfortunately no indoor pool was available although ad suggested there was. Air con DID NOT work which was particularly hard during a 44 degree day. The house keeper was very helpful, but the rest weren't so, and appeared annoyed when we arrived, and during phone conversations. Air con wasn't fixed and we were told owners wouldn't allow someone to come out till next morning

Bathroom needs attention especially shower hose that makes floor completely wet when showering. Two pot lids but no pots for cooking. Gas stove knobs where broken and we didn’t know if gas was turned off so slept with balcony door open so we didn’t die in our sleep.
- JC (6/5): - The apartments location was fantastic and check in was very smooth however the overall condition of the apartment was disappointing especially for the price we paid. Definitely did not look like the photos we saw wgen we booked. The main bedroom had a sliding door which was broken and could only open a quarter of the way, it was a squeeze just to get in. The second bedroom had no blinds on one window and broken ones on the other so all the light came through. The wifi in the apartment didn't work and we needed to wash all the glassware before we used them. Quite disappointing at 390 a night it's quite a rip off the only thing that is 4 star is the location.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Booked two apartments in the one booking and when checking in was informed that the two apartments were not together in the same building. One apartment was two blocks away from the other in a totally separate apartment building. No mention in any communication on website or in correspondence emails that booking could be split and not together. Reception at check in tried their best to accommodate after we complained but best they could do was put us in separate buildings next door to each other. Apartments themselves were lovely.

Although only a small area of say 2m2, it was right in the main walk area outside the bathroom. I had to wait while they finished off and then had to endure soggy carpets and a room that smelled like a wet dog. There wasn't a toilet roll holder and the bedroom window latches were broken meaning that I couldn't shut out the noise of Footscray Rd right underneath me...
Check in was less than professional and they seemed annoyed that I was annoyed that the room wasn't ready!
The room had a couple of pieces of cheap furniture and was not inviting or pleasant to be in.

Why would you stay in the doclands when their are no restaurants or cafes and poorly designed apartments and a shower that spays water out making a horrible experience that isnt relaxing at all. And to top it off their is a $300 bond and then you get it back in 21 days!!!!! Dont bother stay else where more centrally located in the heart of the city.

My only gripe was the condition of the room was a little tired, hole in the wall also some marks here and there. Nothing serious though. My major gripe was about the indoor pool, there wasn’t one. We did have access to one in another hotel down the road, about 100 meters away and that was fantastic. But we only booked the hotel because of the indoor pool, had we known there wasn’t one we would have booked elsewhere. The outdoor pool was brilliant but not suitable when the outside temp was 12 degrees. Having said that I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the hotel to others especially at the price we paid and the fact that it’s in a perfect location.

There was no indoor pool or spa. The window was broken In one room, unable to be shut and the heater broken too. The blanket was too light, we were freezing and unable to call anyone for more blankets as it was past 6pm. The place was old and tired and did not meet my expectations for the price we paid. I will never stay here again and would not recommend this place to anyone.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - please do not book these apartments.after arriving we had to call the office to ask for it to be cleaned as there was sick all over the bathroom.The floors were filthy. the tv was smashed and they didn't even bother to change it.the table was damaged and it was just shocking. There was Mark's all over the walls.just horror. our complaint did nothing all they did was send a guy to clean the toilet and still I asked him to clean it again as there cleaning skills are shocking.lets get this clear there is NO pool in this building you have to walk out to the other building.after emails to the manager it was clean they were not interested in helping. they take a bond off 300 and you have to wait 3 weeks to get it back.people like this disgust me.then they reply with sorry you didn't enjoy your stay.we booked out early as it's was just filthy apartment. they are out to take your money take your bond and just screw people over.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - I would never stay here again! my parents were put in a dirty room with holes in the walls and told they would be liable for any damage in the room the room had not even had a basic clean marks on benches not vacuumed ect we were placed in totally different building which isnt ideal when u book 2 rooms and are not even located in the same building we rang prior to arriving to confirm the deposit amount for cash so we could pre arrange the correct money only to arrive and be told a totally different amount the reception staff are rude and didnt apologise in the slightest for there mistake we then rang to find out what level the indoor pool is located...the main reason we booked this apartment to then be told sure its 100m walk down the road which isn't ideal when u have young children so basically advertising a indoor pool which isnt located anywhere near the apartment we were in. Our bed in our room was extremely uncomfortable with a cheap mattress with sagging in the middle i would never stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone and would highly recommended your office staff work on there communication with paying guests

I booked a 3 bedroom that slept 7 with the third room having a double bunk and single bunk but only had 2 x singles in the third room. As it turned out we had a cancellation so it didn't matter but it may have been an issue as the office shut at 6pm so Im not sure how that would have played out. There was a 24hour number so I assume it would have been OK.

Carpet stains in the bedroom were a little off putting and the couch covers need a clean. But we really only used the apartment to sleep in so not too much of a problem for us.

Receptionist Paula was rude and arrogant. Felt so unwelcome while checking in. Heater in the main bedroom was broken, lights in the bathroom broken as well, hair blowdryer buttons not working & sticky/greasy with lots of long grey hair attached on the handle, fleece blanket had a cigarette hole, carpet was dirty... Also, booked for this hotel for the indoor pool that I saw on the hotel’s online site, but unfortunately Receptionist lent us the key to the pool in the building far away and didn’t inform us that the pool was under renovation since a week ago. Instead, the rude Receptionist told my family(with kids) to just swim in the outdoor pool in a very cold and windy winter afternoon! T’was really a not so happy birthday for me!

Cigerette butts all thru garden. No sink plug list goes on. We had a 3 bedroom apartment great size but waaaaaaay over priced for the condition! Not told they would take a 200 holding bond which may take 21 days to go back into account until after paying for the property. ( it didn't take 21 days to go back in onky a few) just disappointed. Finally get some family vacation time and felt dirty the whole stay.

- Le (6/5): - Great location, and views - generally the place was good. But the cleanliness of the apartment was not quite what is expected. We had to clean all the surfaces before we could settle in. The broken glass in the second bed room made the room very cold at night. And there was some very gross mould on the ceiling in the living area that needs to be addressed asap. The staff were very friendly and helpful and when we were given the wrong apartment information happily came to the building to help us find our room.

- Edgar (8/5): Adequate 2 bedroom apartment - Excellent location. Very close to tram service and airport or other train transportation. Near by restaurants available and local store. The internet did not work for us and there it was not repaired while we were there for 3 days. The apartment had some deficiencies. The in bathroom laundry was convenient.

But when we got to our parking spot there was a car parked in it, so had to ring the property to get another parking spot. When entering the apartment the carpet was badly stained and marked. Went out to balcony it was filthy. Went to use the ensuit and couldn't find the toilet paper as it was on the floor (no toilet roll holder) same situation in main bathroom. Also the sliding door going into the robe was actually off its rail so couldn't be closed. A couple of others was the bedside lamps in main bedroom did not work and one in other bedroom also did not work.
When we checked out I advised the receptionist of all the above and she couldn't even write it down..

If travelling by Skybus they only drop off at two places at Docklands - both of which require walking in the open to get to your accommodation. If its wet you get drenched.

One of the lifts was constantly out of order or locked out.
The biggest issue was the wifi in the apartment was not working at all during my stay and it never got fixed even after reporting to reception in first day so had to use 4G on my mobile phone the entire time.
Overall a good accommodation for the price.

Further to our complaint made with reception i wish to convey my dissappointment with a number of items during our stay.
WE have stayed at your apartments a few times but never have we had so many issues which are as follows
When we got there Saturday afternoon we given the keys to our room in Nolan Building. First thing we noticed was the living area blinds were in very poor condition/broken. There was only 1 spare blanket in the whole apartment so my wife was ringing to advise this along with the broken blind as we did not want to be blamed for this. While she was on the phone i pulled back the doona to see if there was any blanket on the main bed and to my horror discovered there was blood stains on the doona. (photos attached) We immediately felt sick and disgusted when my wife advised of this also we were quickly given another room in the boyd Building
So we assumed that moving into another room things would all be smooth sailing. The room itself was good but again there were issues that made the stay a little unpleasant.
Firstly the main split system on the wall in the living area wasnt working. Im not surprised because it looked like it hadnt been cleaned for years. (photoes attached)
The heater in our main bedroom wasnt working either.
Our wi fi internet didnt work. These maybe small things but not good enough.

There were 2 Chinese families running around trying to find their accommodation as well and with no after hour no to call .....

Window in main bedroom had no handles to open, lamp broken in lounge area, heater snapped off wall in main bedroom. Only one lift was working at one time. For amount of money being charged, not very impressed.

The apartment was small and pokey, in terrible condition with damaged doors and walls. The bathrooms in the two bedroom, two bathroom apparent were tiny and shabby. The 2nd bedroom had barely enough room for the two twin beds. The corridors in the building as you exited the lifts smelled terrible, like mould that was being covered up with a deodorant.

- Patricia (2/5): You don't get what you pay for, False advertising - We stayed here for my sons 14th Birthday. We are not visitors to Melbourne, we live here. We thought it would be a wonderful way to celebrate his birthday by staying at Docklands to fully explore the area.
Our priority for stay was an indoor pool. We specifically choose this property as the photo displayed on this site displayed a great pool. We checked and an went straight out the door to explore the area and celebrate my child's birthday. Our plan was to come back around 6.30pm -7.00pm to hit the pool.
We had a fabulous day, came back to the room and put on our bathers. We then went looking for the pool depicted in the picture only to discover that there was no indoor heated pool as advertised.
We notified hotel.com who were very helpful and apologetic. It was so disappointing, we would not have made a booking without an indoor pool, this was the main focus of our stay.
When we asked at reception, "where is the pool" we were told that they service many apartments and you need to put in writing you request to stay at the apartment with that particular pool.
No where in the information on hotels.com, the apartments own website or for that fact other accommodation sites does it state this. They made it seem as if it was our fault for not asking, how were we to know? the apartment have a screen displayed out front of the building advertising their property and again the photo of the indoor pool is displayed. This is misleading and complete false advertising.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - The property owner made as wait 2 hours to give us the check-in keys then the property was so dirty from previous owner, then the blinds were broken so people from other apartments can see full view into our rooms , no privacy

Check in was easy. Unfortunately our first room had a very strong smell of cigarettes but we were moved to another apartment which was fine. Modern apartments, although some of the fittings need some attention and a thorough clean, but nothing that affected our stay. If you're after accommodation near Marvel/Docklands it was fine for our family.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - The property was not clean.There was no locks on the doors to the balcony. I parked in the space provided and was left an abusive note for parking there. I only got 1 key and was told I could get another tomorrow. What was the point I was only there for one night.
