- Tania (7/5): -
- Todd (5/5): If you have to stay in Mitla, this is an option. - Good location No restaurant although they said they had one. Pool was very very small. Good for kids. No drinking glasses!

- Kristen (5/5): Decent place but needs more staff - Great location near square and ruins There was only one person on staff and he was too busy to be really helpful. We were denied requests for simple things like extra glasses, or a corkscrew.
- Jente1 (8/5): -
- delgado (10/5): Muy buena - Perfecto Cambiar Las tuallas
- ABEL (6/5): -
- Ayerim (8/5): - Un buen lugar para hospedarse..
- Hal (5/5): Passable - Location across from the town square is great. Covered parking is secure for peace of mind. Price feels very high for what you get.. a dated hotel room, no breakfast or even coffee included. Your money goes so much farther elsewhere in Oaxaca.
- Zhenya (8/5): Nice - Nice garden. Water pressure is weak.
- Jesus (10/5): - Great value
- Bryan (6/5): Whike the facility was attractive and comfortable, it felt overpriced. - Location, in the centre of Mitla, clean, well-kept rooms and facilities. Breakfast at the restaurant was grossly overpriced — $35 Cdn or $27 US for a quite modest meal for one person. The wifi was spotty, cutting out and having to be reset often.
- Kim (9/5): Good price. Rather noisy, good location - Rooms were comfortable and the grounds were pretty I wish they had filtered water for the guests to drink
- Barbara (10/5): Charming - The staff is helpful and kind. The hotel is charming, clean and quiet. The breakfast (not included, around $10) was freshly prepared, good cappuccino, in a pleasant garden setting. Service was excellent. The hotel faces the pleasant town square, with restaurants and shops all very close. We spent 2 nights, and had a wonderful day trip to nearby Hierve el Agua, an easy drive.
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Juan alejandro (10/5): Exelente - Todo excelente
- Franc (9/5): Superb -
- Martin (8/5): Amazing town with amazing people and the hotel and staff were amazing - No breakfast and no where to get coffee in the morning. Especially if u want to hit the road early
- Arcelia (10/5): - Such a beautiful place, staff was amazing, great location!
- Christauria (8/5): We always stay here in Mitla! - This beautiful hotel is in the perfect location on the main square. The staff is welcoming and respectful. The hand carved and painted furniture is always a standout. They assigned us to a smaller, darker room this year, and two of the lights didn't work, but since we were just staying for one night we let it go. Other than that we had a very good rest. It would be great if they could do something to heat up the pool!!
- Guadalupe (10/5): - Don cenobio is a go back to place for all my family. Mitla is a magical. Just love it!!!!
- Ginger (9/5): Convenient comfortable stay out of the city vibe of Oaxaca - Location across the street from the main plaza is. Nice. The individual room decorations with artesanía painted furniture The restaurant in the hotel has closed so there is very little choice for food. The small restaurant around the corner format open until 9 so no early starts with breakfast
- Thomson (1/5): Bad -
- Silvia (8/5): Really nice hotel in an excellent location. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and convenient parking. - Great location Hard mattress
- Gabriel (8/5): - UBICACIÓN ÓPTIMA.
- Ruben (7/5): Good -
- Dawson (9/5): Superb -
- Candice (10/5): we loved our stay and the location was unbeatable - beautiful location very well cared for.
- Marisela (8/5): Very good -
- Ezequiel (9/5): Confortable - Very well located right in front of the main plaza. The staff just very helpful, the rooms clean and confortable. I loved that every room has its own topic Everything was fine
- Karla (5/5): Passable - The room was very spacious and comfortable bed It right on the main square which for a month in dec-jan means a lot of music and street noise, incredibly loud until midnight. We barely slept while in Mitla
- Liliane (6/5): Comfortable enough hotel - In the centre of the village with good parking facilities. The room looks a bit dated but was roomy and comfortable enough. Pleasant people at reception. Big dead cockroach in the bathroom upon our arrival. We had to ring for towels as there was nothing in the room, no extra toilet roll. Even though there is a restaurant we could not even get a cup of coffee or tea in the morning let alone breakfast. Not many breakfast opportunities in the village anyway or for that matter for having a drink or dinner. On our 7 day trip in Mexico this was the most expensive hotel and they offered the least amount of value for money. Too expensive in my opinion.
- David (10/5): One of my favorites. - Beautiful place. You will be surprised by the handcrafted furniture in your room. Excellent location. I love staying there everytime I visit the area. No breakfast at the hotel, but the mercado is around the corner and you will get a delicious local breakfast there. Get bread and chocolate. Pool is not heated. My kids cannot enjoy during winter time because the water is too cold.
We always stay only one night because we are traveling. I wish I could stay longer.
- Reyna (8/5): Very good -
- Mabelle (7/5): Good - The staff is very friendly and attentive to the time required.
The location of the hotel is very good.
It is very good that it has parking included. The sound of water escaping from the bathroom water tank all night.
We didn't get hot water in the shower.
It would be nice to have wells to be able to drink the coffee that is made in the room's coffee maker or to inform that you need to order them in the lobby.
- Ismael (7/5): we loved that we could walk toruins and the walks to nearby restaurant for amazing dinners, magical - great location, interesting history, lovely patio had to ask for towels, hard to find good breakfast
- Anali (8/5): Very good - Location
Kids area The beds
- Alessandra (8/5): Very good -
- William (10/5): Comfortable, friendly, nicely appointed hotel right on the central plaza. - Located right on the central plaza, great swimming pool, comfortable room, friendly and welcoming staff, easy, free and secure parking. Our room was very quiet! The mattresses were too firm for us.
- William (8/5): Decent Accommodation - Centrally located in Mitla. A little noisy, low water pressure in shower.
- Christauria (9/5): Our second stay at this lovely hotel. - In the center of Mitla. Free, secure parking. Beautiful rooms look onto garden. Hard carved painted furniture. Lovingly decorated. The restaurant is closed so have to go outside for meals.
- OSCAR (6/5): - Esta sobre evaluada.
- Miguel (4/5): Disappointing, not staying again. - Location, Mitla is a wonderful place to visit. The restaurant wasn't open, the pillows were insignificant, the air-conditioning wasn't working, there was no air flow in the room, room was stuffy which made it hard to sleep, they were fumigating outside the room and the reception.
- Dan (8/5): Very good -
- Merrilee (6/5): Disappointing - The hotel is very pretty, with a swimming pool and clean, comfortable rooms. An onsite restaurant is advertised, but it is closed and no one seems to know when and if it will reopen. There was not even a morning coffee/tea service offered. There were problems with our air conditioner and we had to call twice to have it fixed. When it was, it dripped condensation all night long.
- Dalia (1/5): It was a terrible place to stay very dirty and bad customer service is terrible and management. - Absolutely nothing their customer service sucked and the room I was put in a room that's smelled like mold and had AC not working it was super hot. They didn't give us any towels or toilet paper. I asked to be moved to another room and the manager said no because we had used the restroom to pee. It was very upsetting and disgusting the blankets were dirty as well.
- Eduardo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lazcano (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (6/5): Pleasant - Room was bright and well appointed with a small balcony over the garden accessed by large sliding glass doors. Garden and (unheated) pool are beautiful and we had a very nice swim. Location is excellent, adjacent to the zocalo. Staff was working all the time to keep the place clean and tidy. As in many older hotels, electrical outlets in the room were few and far between and some were non-functional. The safe in the closet was non-functional. Current hotel description on Booking.com includes "restaurant" and photos of a nice dining room but the restaurant appeared to be permanently closed, which made getting breakfast or even a cup of coffee impossible before 9AM, and nothing in the neighborhood opens any earlier. Likewise the lovely bar in the garden was closed (though we were warned about that) and there isn't a single ice cube to be had in the facility if you want to mix your own drink to enjoy on the terrace. Hot water pressure in our room was non-existent - it came out of the shower and sink in barely a dribble which made even a warm shower extremely challenging. English language competency of the front desk staff was minimal, so they weren't much help with local information or logistics.
- Eugenio (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (8/5): Pretty, well-located hotel, with helpful staff - Great location right in the middle of town and close to everything including a great market with food stalls, the craft shops, and the archeological site. The central location does mean it is loud at the hotel during fiestas in the square but earplugs did the trick for us. The themed rooms are decorated nicely (everything was tulips in our room) and we enjoyed sitting out on our little balcony looking over the central courtyard and across the rooftops of the town. Parki my available in the huge on-site garage, the pool looks great, though we didn’t use it. Staff are friendly and helpful. The shower wasn’t great, but not unusual compared to other places we have stayed in Mexico. The beds were hard.
- Tino (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eva (8/5): Very good - Very professional stuff. Bathrooms could be updated.
- Javier (8/5): - Me gusto la ubicacion y limpieza
- Tricia (7/5): excellent location and beautiful grounds. - great location unless there’s a fiesta in the square. walkable from the bus stop and to ruins which was lovely. the hotel itself was great, clean and quiet. however we were given a room on the outside street/zócalo facing therefore it was quite noisy with people outside our window in the afternoon and a community party at night. there would be quieter rooms.
- Isael Martín (10/5): - Hotel muy agradable
- Alfredo (8/5): - Buen servicio y trato. Instalaciones adecuadas. Excelente ubicación.
- FAVIOLA (6/5): - At arrival I was notified they do not accept payments from Orbitz so had to pay again. Will now have to file a claim with my credit card company to be reimbursed payment withdrawn by Orbitz. Hotel was nice, clean with dinning options walking distance. Construction noise on site kepts us up, live band and fireworks from a near by party went on all night. Hotel was good for one night.
- Marina (9/5): Gorgeous place in a great location - Gorgeous place! Our room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed. The location, right by the plaza, is lovely—the plaza is very lively in the evenings :) The shower could have more pressure and the tub could maybe be updated.
Also, there's not really a cafe inside the hotel. There are plenty of options around and nearby, but Mitla can be a little hard for early breakfast.
- Viktor (8/5): Very good - nice furnishings. nice garden pool is too cold.
- Andrea (8/5): - Las camas estaban demasiado duros
- DENNIS (6/5): - Good location. Hot water issues never resolved. Nice people for sure. Hotel is a work in progress.....
- JOHN (8/5): Good for a short stay - Good way station. Beds were hard, shower nozzle only had 6 holes working, but it did the job. We enjoyed our stay in Mitla.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excelente establecimiento
- philippo (8/5): Nice hotel in Mitla - Nice hotel in the mean Square of Mitla Roma are very Nice and the mexican yard is clean and cozy
- Dave (10/5): A clean, comfortable and safe place to stay. - Hotel Calli was perfect for one night to break up a very long drive to the coast. It was very clean, the staff very helpful. They spoke some English and we felt very secure on site. The room and the grounds were well cared for. The restaurant was a little slow and the food only average. But everything was priced right.
- Verified traveler (10/5): nice hotel - Nice hotel , city not so much
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Tolles Hotel.
- Claudia (8/5): Great Little Hotel, Amazing Price - Great location in Mitla, right across the street from the town square and the market. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of room to move around even with luggage laying about. The hotel is walking distance to almost everything in Mitla, including the Zapotec ruins. The only issue we had (which is not the hotel's fault) was the guest in the room next door left his alarm going at 6 am while he took a shower. I told the hotel staff and they quickly fixed the problem.
Keep in mind, this is NOT a fancy resort. It is a modest hotel in a small town, so if you are expecting 5 star amenities, you might want to look elsewhere, but if you are there to experience the Oaxacan culture and hospitality, this is the place to stay. There is free WiFi, a beautiful pool, a gym with a few machines, secured parking, a bar, and restaurant all on site. For the price, you probably won't find a better deal.
We will definitely be staying here again when we return to Mexico in a few months.
