The location is beautiful — right in front of the beach, with a clean and crystal-clear swimming pool and an incredible beach just a short walk from the hotel. The staff were absolutely wonderful. They helped us understand all the activities available in the area, arranged pickup services for us, assisted us in booking a full-day boat trip, and shared a lot of interesting information about the island, the local culture, and the people. Their kindness and hospitality made our experience even more special. Everything was perfect — the atmosphere, the service, the cleanliness, and the location. I highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again.

Yasmin (10/5): A great resort with chill vibes - This is a small heaven in koh phangan. The design of the garden and restaurant is traditional thai, so calm and beautiful. The room was comfortable and food was good and affordable. The staff are extremely nice and helpful with everything! Especially Wai was just great. I will be back for sure! The location is good for the parties and kite surfing but far away from the northen area.

Jennifer (10/5): Clean and great price for the stay! - The staff were amazing! The food and drinks at the bar were all great and reasonably priced. The room was quiet and well air conditioned. It had a lovely little pool area and the bar is really well set up for relaxing. It’s right on the beach, but we were there for low tide so couldn’t really access the ocean (not the hotels fault). It has a nice pool, but it’s super chlorinated and burns a little. It’s also really far away from most activities and from the pier. I know it says a 10 minute drive, but the shared “taxis” cost 300 baht per person for that 10 minute drive. If you want to go to any of the good sunset viewpoints in the north, expect to pay upwards of 600 baht for a one way cab going 20 minutes.

Les petits-déjeuners sont copieux et de bonne qualité. Nous avions réservé un bungalow, mais nous avons été un peu déçus par la salle de bain, qui était beaucoup plus petite que sur les photos et assez abîmée (présence de rouille, éléments de la douche défectueux voire cassés, etc.). Nous en avons informé le personnel, qui a été très compréhensif et nous a rapidement proposé une autre chambre, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Nous trouvions aussi dommage que beaucoup de photos sur Booking montre un filet de volleyball, alors qu'il n'y en avait pas durant notre séjour.

Noemi (10/5): A little paradise - Loved the kindness and helpfulness of the staff from the Wei at the reception to the bar and kitchen, amazing breakfast options comparable or better than any coffee bar including fresh fruit juices. The location is perfect to move around with a scooter from either north or south part of the island (30 mins max) and the beach of the resort is just beautiful. The hotel can arrange anything from tours to scooter rentals and ferry booking. Loved the peaceful environment and lush green of the resort. The rooms were not very new but as an overall there was all we needed, the bed was comfortable and we had a great relaxing stay.

David (1/5): Unhappy with our stay - I stayed here on the 22nd of March upon arrival everything looked nice unpacked and went for food upon return back we had 4 geckos in the room which wasn’t a big deal a minor inconvenience but there was also Ants on the bed as it was late there was nobody at reception to help so we were left to our own devices. We decided to leave and upon saying this to the man on reception early the next morning he offered us no insight into how this could be rectified and no resolution. As well as this he refused any refund as we had payed in cash even though we checked out at 9:30 am so had been in the hotel less than 15 hours and had paid for 3 nights. We did not expect a full refund but any help would have been greatly appreciated and we did not get this. If I was you staying here I would ask to see the room before paying you might just change your mind

На территории отеля очень много зелени , что создает приятную атмосферу. Домики чистые и уютные . В них есть все необходимое, утром можно посидеть на личной террасе и насладиться видами . Уборка по запросу , после всегда чисто и аккуратно. Каждый день предоставляют 2 бутылки воды . Завтрак и кофе были очень вкусными . Персонал заслуживает отдельной похвалы , администратор Wai всегда был готов помочь и ответить на любой вопрос и просьбу . Расположение тоже прекрасное , рядом много ресторанов , магазин 7/11 и BigC . Я думаю этот отель семейный бизнес и владельцы любят это место и эта любовь чувствуется и передается гостям . Если бы можно было поставить 10 🌟звезд этому месту , я бы поставила все 10 . Минусов для меня нет

Iva (10/5): Lijep smještaj. Dobra lokacija. Odličan doručak. - Jako lijep i čisti smještaj. Sobe (bungalovi) su bile velike i čiste, svaka sa svojom terasom sa pogledom na vrt i bazen, a korak do mora. Doručak u ovom objektu je bio fantastičan, a osoblje uvijek nasmijano i uslužno.

Ronald (10/5): Great Place - The property was clean and quiet. The air conditioning units ran quietly and the beach was fabulous, white sand and a breeze. Sunsets were glorious. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was good. This is not a negative but transport is required as the location is out of town, but there are plenty of places to hire a scooter and car hire was reasonable.

Ryan (6/5): Tegenvallend - De kamer was ruim. Het uitzicht op het strand was mooi. Het zwembad was bij troebel en groen. Niet zoals op de foto’s in de advertentie. Wij kozen er ook voor om geen gebruik te maken van het zwembad. De scooterverhuur die geregeld was vanuit het resort voelde niet goed. Een paspoort was vereist en kon geen andere optie. Ik werd opgehaald door het verhuurbedrijf en toen ik mijn paspoort niet wilde achterlaten kon ik teruglopen door de regen. Vind ik voor een samenwerking met een resort erg slecht.

Ottimo per fare attività di giorno, party o qualsiasi cosa e perfetto perchè fuori quel poco che basta per avere silenzio totale e tranquillità quando si ha bisogno di staccare.

One Life Live It (10/5): Charming beachfront resort with cozy bungalows, tasty food, welcoming staff, and magical evenings! - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best Value for Money Resort ON the Beach! We booked Morning Star Resort for just one night and ended up staying 8 days. Yes, it’s an older resort, but the warm, family-run atmosphere more than makes up for it. Chitra, her son Wood, her husband, and the entire team are incredibly friendly, helpful, and hospitable. We stayed in a cute bungalow (#211) overlooking the garden and pool, with a partial sea view. The rooms are basic but very comfortable, with great beds, clean linen, lovely pillows, plus pool and bathroom towels provided. You also get a kettle, glasses, cups, a mini-fridge, and a hairdryer. Fresh water and toilet paper are delivered daily, and you can choose whether you want housekeeping or not. The gardens are beautiful, and the pool is sparkling and refreshing. There’s a restaurant on-site, and Chitra is not only an amazing host but also a fantastic chef – every meal was delicious, from breakfast to dinner, Thai and Western, and the fresh juices were absolutely delicious. The restaurant area also has books and games for guests to help themselves to, which we enjoyed. Our evenings on the patio were truly special. As evening fell, the jungle came alive... frogs, insects, everything singing at once. A peaceful and magical soundtrack to end each day. We also enjoyed the beach massages arranged through the resort. If you need anything at all, just speak to Chitra or the reception team – scooters, cars, ferry tickets, excursions, laundry… whatever you need, they organise it quickly and happily. It’s a quick 5-minute walk to town (7/11, local restaurants, ATM's...) or a short scooter ride into Thong Sala and the night markets. The WiFi was excellent, even on overcast days, despite some negative reviews we had seen. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back! There was nothing not to like! It was perfect!

Personel jest bardzo miły i pomocny, są w stanie w szybkim czasie załatwić taksówkę od ręki oraz sprawdzoną wypożyczalnie skuterów ( depozyt to paszport niestety ale można im zaufać) w pokoju czysto, piękny basen i plaża. The owners should be very proud of their employees and everything they do!! Everything is absolutely perfect!! My room was the best location, facing the sea and with all of the windows, the view was amazing! It was the perfect way to wake up every morning. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious!! I ate all of my meals at the resort. Bottled water in my room everyday was a bonus, since I drink so much of it. The lady who gives the massages at the Morning Star Resort was very very good! I highly recommend her. I went to Koh Phangan to relax, eat good food and swim in the sea. Thank you so much Morning Star for making it all possible at your resort!!!! Nothing!!

Tienen servicio de lavandería, aunque tardan bastante en devolverte la ropa. El baño era bastante amplio pero la habitación muy pequenita, lo que hacía un poco incómodo el no tener sitio para dejar las mochilas y las cosas.

Pallarés (10/5): Agradable - El personal es molt amable i servicial. És un hotel humil, però cobreix totes les necessitats. El llit ens ha semblat molt còmode. En general hem estat molt agust. El preu va ser una mica alt per ser temporada baixa, però es justifica perquè va coincidir amb la fullmoon party. També feia una mica olor a tancat (res exagerat, és normal perquè son bungalows de fusta).
clayre_smile (9/5): - Resort che affaccia direttamente sulla spiaggia, noi avevamo il bungalow fronte spiaggia e merita davvero. Purtroppo, nei periodi di bassa marea, il mare non è sfruttabile, ma è sempre calmo e perfetto per delle lunghe passeggiate. Bellissima piscina fronte spiaggia con lettoni a disposizione. Colazione non a buffet, ma a scelta da un menù predefinito con 4 opzioni dolci, tutte buone, e il resto salato. Comoda la possibilità di noleggiare lo scooter direttamente alla reception. Ottimo il check out alle 12 che ti permette di usufruire di una mezza giornata aggiuntiva. Asciugamani vecchi, uno totalmente macchiato di giallo, mai cambiati in 3 giorni. Il bagno del ns bungalow avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione, soprattutto la doccia. Il terzo giorno il wifi non ha mai funzionato nel ns bungalow.
Mickael (2/5): Cet hôtel est déprimant et cher pour les prestations proposées - L’emplacement bord de mer La cabane est vieillotte, rafistolée de partout, drap sales, lit qui grince, peinture tachee et écaillée ,salle d’eau est une pièce rajoutée, bancale, Escalier tombe en ruine, Le petit dej sommaire, soit café soit jus de fruit Très cher pour les prestations proposées, l’hôtel juste à côté avait de vraies chambres à 20€ moins chères , une grande piscine , des transats….
Javier (10/5): Relax - Super tranquilo. Por la noche te coges una hamaca y puedes dormirte en la playa con una gustera... La zona piscina es genial, pero el cloro del agua no estaba medido, los ojos escocía muchisimo.
