• Onur (8/5): - Die Unterkunft ist gut und relativ modern ausgestattet. Was wir mochten waren die Sonnenliegen am Strandbereich. Allerdings mangelte es ein wenig an dem Service. Zwei Tage gab es keine Cocktails. Auch bei anderen Bestellungen wie einer Cola oder Weißwein musste man 15 Minuten warten. Wir haben zu unserem Tagesdrink immer Canapés bekommen, was auch sehr aufmerksam ist. Das Frühstück war gut, man hat alles bekommen. Im Großen und Ganzen wurden wir das Hotel definitiv weiter empfehlen.

• Joshua (6/5): - Expensive room that doesn’t provide more than 2 bottles of water a day despite hot weather and price paid for the room. Our room was on the bend of the building so we felt a little squished as the balcony is smaller than other rooms. Bed was comfortable and wifi very strong and fast. Decent buffet breakfast, but very hectic trying to get tea/coffee/juice as one person doing all those whilst guests waited in small area. Beach lounges good and relaxing - included nightly cocktail and canapé great feature. Close to jetty also good. There are lots of cheaper eating options along the beach a short stroll away. Also, hot tip is to get the speed boats for hire rather than Bubu’s own speed boat and they are much cheaper and a similar boat style. Only limitation is they only leave the island at 8am, 12pm, and 4pm. So, if you need to travel outside these times, might need to pay more for Bubu’s transfer as they have. Little more flexibility on when they leave, but do need minimum numbers. The resort is right on the main beach so there is a good buzz and vibe if that is what you are after. If you want something more relaxing or quiet, perhaps pick your accommodation away from Long Beach.

• ZHI YAN (10/5): - This place is expensive, but worth every cent! Conveniently located right at the jetty, fantastic staff, hearty breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms, very comprehensive wine list in the restaurant. Definitely make use of the happy hour for the complimentary cocktail!
• Verified traveler (4/5): Too expensive and bad location - It's a very basic hotel and the price too high. Food served in their restaurant is very expensive like 6 spring roll for RM 36. The hotel is right on the beach lined with many other resorts and shacks so the beach is dirty, littered and full of motor boats polluting the water and air. Also it is right there near the jetty. The room was decent to sleep that's all. So overall nothing great. It can be a backpackers kind of accomodation but at a very high price. For any activity or even to use a decent clean beach one would have to pay for the boat and go somewhere else.

The food in breakfast and the ala cart in santai restaurant was very nice They give welcome drink when we arrived and everyday u can have one welcome drink in beach are for 4pm to 6pm with 1 snacks The comfort if you compared with price not so good but I understand the price per night it’s increase because borders still close

• Adam (10/5): Stunning location, great hotel - The resort was superb. The meet and greet by the reception was fantastic, they sorted anything out for you. My only issue is the restaurant was slow and often forgot my order, not sure if this was staffing issue. The location is stunning and being right on the beach, and next to coral for snorkelling means you literally don’t have to leave. Plenty of options for doing trips though and places to eat and chill out along the beach. Will definitively be returning.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - This is the most expensive hotel on long Beach hence the service is good. Their restaurant is also the best restaurant on long Beach though pricey. I like the balcony in the room with a bit if sea view. The interior of the room is new since it was just refurbished. Breakfast is really good as compared to other hotels on long Beach. Their pastries are good! Wifi is not really working but we have our own data plan which works well in the room. The layout of the room is really weird, you enter to the toilet. The fridge, wardrobe and kettle are all facing the toilet bowl and shower area. Since I'm travelling with friend, it's really weird cause no one can exit the room if someone is in the toilet. The shower area is not fully fenced up hence there will be splashes to the toilet area. There's no stand to put the shampoo,etc.

• Hyun Kook (8/5): 친절한 서비스 - 정해진 체크인 시간보다 두어 시간 일찍 도착했는데 체크인을 받아주었다. Welcome drinks 도 주었고... 미소와 친절로 대해주어서 인상적이었다. 제티에서의 거리도 가까웠다. 롱비치는 문 밖 바로 아래에 있고... 가격은 싸지 않은 곳이지만, 기회가 되면 다시 가 보고 싶은 곳이다.

The internet was often a bit difficult to obtain, and some of the day trips ended up being full or cancelled even though we'd booked them well in advance. But otherwise, the place was dandy. I hoe the area isn't developed much more. It's right at capacity now.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Didn't meet my expectations - The staff member we first met at the office before departing on the speed boat was friendly and welcoming. The speed boat transfer to the resort went fine - takes 30 mins. Upon arrival the greeting from the reception staff was nice, they took us through the hotel info, excursions we can book etc etc. The quality of the room wasn't as high as i hoped, the bed wasn't very comfortable so i didn't sleep great while there, the bathroom didn't smell very pleasant and i was disappointed you couldn't close down the bathroom fan window at night to stop the lizards and anything else coming in (had a big lizard in my room one night with about 3 small ones, they are harmless though would have appreciated them not being there). In addition to this there was a small gap under my door - so again, anything could crawl in. The wash towels clearly didn't get washed with any comfort conditioner to soften them as they felt like an exfoliating pads. My patio door didn't lock nor could I shut properly so to feel safe at night my male friend kindly swapped rooms as he's patio door could lock, and in addition the safe didn't work so again i wanted to be able to keep my passport/cash etc safely locked away. At breakfast time, there was noone to greet you or take you to a table and just take you through how the breakfast buffet worked - ie no one served you tea or coffee so i had to go up to the counter and ask for a cup of tea and fruit juice myself which i thought was poor customer service.
• Frank (10/5): Snorkelling at BuBu - The snorkelling was excellent both on the well organised boat trips and also to the left of the hotel beyond the jetty. BuBu itself was comfortable, though the bathroom could have done with a more rigourous clean. The food was very good and ther free cocktail very welcome!

• Verified traveler (4/5): Bad Service - The receptionist is good but honestly I'm very dissappointed with the service. I stayed in family room which costs RM 1000++. We paid extra RM250 for additional one person and they promised to provide pillow and blanket. I did remind them a few times but no extra pillow and blanket provided. Upon checking out, when I complained, the receptionist just said "sorry, we were so busy yesterday" . This is not acceptable, and I would rate value for money 2 out of 10. And plus, no refund given.

• Lenore (10/5): Friendly staff, delicious food, beautiful beach - This resort was exactly what we wanted. Incredibly warm, friendly, accommodating staff. Delicious food. Beautiful, clean, quiet beach. Great snorkeling right under the dock on the beach outside our room. The room wasn't luxurious but was air conditioned and had ample room and lots of dresser and closet space. I definitely recommend this hotel, especially during the so-called off season. We have heard that it gets quite busy during June, July and August, but it was calm and quiet during our stay in early October, and the weather was perfect for snorkeling and diving, which we love.

(En ce moment les travaux de construction d'un hôtel juste à côté gênent un peu mais l'hôtel propose de nous emmener gratuitement sur une plage de l'île d'en face). Un accueil très chaleureux et un restaurant excellent. Trois excursions snorkeling extra( tortues géantes, requins, bumpheads et fonds magnifiques) . L'état des chambres est un peu sommaire.

Thé beach ils beautiful but because of the construction of an other hôtel beside, they offer you a free shuttle boat to go on another beach. The minus: the room. Small and need a little bit of love But i will recommand this hôtel allé the way

The position strategic for the trip on the boat. The restaurant, that offers kitchens internazional and asiatic, is the best of the island. Unforgettable the double drink at 5,00 p.m. on the private beach, because it's not easy find alcol in the other resorts of island. It's a shame for the men at work near the resort

• Verified traveler (4/5): 부부 롱 비치 리조트 후기 정말 실망 - 호텔에 3박 4일 일정으로 예약 및 투숙 했는데 이 호텔을 고른 이유는 다른 호텔보다 월등히 깨끗하고 좋아보여서였고 다른 투숙객들의 리뷰도 좋았다. 하지만 도착해서는 300% 실망했고 직원들의 친절도와 열심히 웃으며 일하는 태도 외에는 그저 그랬다. 우선 100만원 이상의 금액을 3박4일이라는 짧은 일정에 투자 하였음에도 불구하고 (룸은 4인 투숙 가능 객실) 섬에 전력이 부족한 이유로 미니바 냉장고부재, 헤어드라이기는 있어도 방에 준비되지 않았던것, 바로 앞이 백사장이라는 이유라서 그런지 모르겠으나 방 청소 완성도 부족, 아침 식사 종류의 다양성과 퀄리티 부족 등등 부족한 것이 너무 많았다. 가장 힘들었던건 말레이시아 쿠알라룸푸르에서 섬까지 가는 여정이었는데 호텔에 인폼을 하지 않으면 선착장으로 사람이 나와 있지 않아 직접 짐을 들고 백사장을 가로질러 호텔 체크인 키운터로 가야한다 내가 묵었던 다른 말레이시아 섬의 5-6성급 호텔보다 더 비싸고 후진 서비스에 너무 실망했고 가격이 두배 싸지 않는 한 절대 다시 여기서 투숙하겠다는 마음이 안든다. 여긴 마치 고급 여인숙 혹은 게스트 하우스 느낌이 나는 리조트다. 이 후진 옵션들을 아름다운 스노쿨링으로 위로 받지만 그래도 이 비싼 돈을 쳐 내고도 두곳의 스노클링 포인트에 돈을 따로 지불해야한다는 것이 정말 짜증났다. 암튼 정말 꼭 가야하는데 머물곳이 없으면 여기 뭐 완전 최악은 아닌데 돈에 비해 넘 후지다.
• Rachael (8/5): Great stay - We had a great stay despite the building works taking place next door, new hotel being built right next to the pier. The manager was offering trips to the large island, to the beach opposite Long beach, so everyone could escape the disruption if needed to. In the end we stayed on the beach near the hotel, as got used to the noise after a while. The staff were fantastic and could not do enough for you. Free cocktails at 5pm were a hit! Good snorkelling just off the beach under the pier plus daily trips offered. Good choice of food for breakfast and in the restaurant at night (plus good choice of wine at affordable prices). The room was a bit basic but we loved the fact that the "garden" room was so close to the beach and so easy to keep popping back.

• ET (10/5): A true sample of excellent hospitality - I stayed at the Bubu for two nights and everything was just perfect from the moment we checked in until our departure. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Nahiran who has been incredibly nice and flexible to our request by going out of the way setting up the beautiful dinner table for us. Many thanks to the restaurant staff & Nahiran personally for exceptional service during both wonderful evening dinner by the beach. Having our meals in the hotel restaurant was one of our favorite moments at Bubu. We travel around Msia and have been to many 5 star restaurants. Food at Bubu exceeded all 5 star standards! Many thanks to the chef who put together all the wonderful dishes for us especially the seafood platter which was delicious & grilled to perfection! The breakfast was better than what I expected, especially their fluffy croissants! Free evening cocktails was a perfect treat to a hot day. Hotel was clean as well as the room although the rooms do really need to be refurbish as it's showing signs of wear & tear. The snorkeling trip was mind blowing as we swim with turtles and reef sharks! Though we didn't spend too much time in the room, other than sleeping but it left a great impression on us! Besides snorkelling, diving, relaxing and eating at the restaurant, there's not so much to do on the island. Needless to say, we will be back next year in 2018!

• jivesh (8/5): Best hotel on that beach - Pros: 1) best hotel on that beach 2) very good food though a lil expensive 3) very sweet and a courteous staff 4) despite all the cons, I think it was still the best place on that beach Cons: 1) sheets not even changed once during our 5 day stay 2) wifi connectivity is not in the room and very intermittent 3) breakfast is bad, same things everyday 4) services like snorkelling etc are a lil expensive as compared to the others places on the beach, but still I think worth it to stick to them as others might also just loot you 5) room is very small, bathrooms even smaller
• Eliane (10/5): Super Hotel direkt am Strand - Die Perhentians an sich sind schon ein Paradies und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert! Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand und ist sehr schön gestaltet. Es is gemütlich und sauber. Alle Zimmer haben zum Meer hin einen Balkon und unseres war sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer war etwas eng, aber zweckmäßig. Alles in allem hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt.
• Mathieu (8/5): Très bon service - Très bon service, très serviable: nous ont laissé la chambre plus longtemps avant de partir car ma femme était malade et nous ont même trouvé des billets de car pour aller au sud de la Malaisie alors que tout été complet sur internet !) seul bémol les travaux de construction d'un hôtel à côté avec le bulldozer qui passe sur la plage..,toutefois tous les efforts sont faits pour que les nuisances soit réduites au maximum. Le petit déjeuner est correct mais un conseil n'arrive pas trop tard, il s'achève à 10h30 mais ne renouvelle plus les plats à partir de 9h30.
• Grzegorz (8/5): Miło spędzony czas. - Miejsce zachwycające pełne egzotyki. Na szczególny wyraz uznania zasługuje obsługa hotelu. Przesympatyczni ludzie, bardzo pomocni i uprzejmi. Na 6+. Jesli chodzi o hotel to widać na nim upływ czasu, łazienka jest bardzo średniej jakości. Generalnie jest trochęza drogo w stosunku do standardu. Pokoje lekko podniszczone. Widać że nie były odświeżane dłuższy czas.
• Yusliza (10/5): Great place for Family - It was an amazing family trip away from the city. Bubu is a perfect place for family bonding as there was no satelite tv, instead we were focused on having activities together like snorkeling, hiking, watching the sun set and rise and quiet family dinner at their cozy restaurant. All the staff were super friendly and efficient. Location is perfect as it is nearest to the jetty and the beach is picture perfect. Would come back here again.
• simone (8/5): - Ein sehr schönes Hotelzimmer direkt am Strand mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereiten Personal. Leider wird aktuell direkt neben dem Hotel gebaut.
• Andrew (8/5): - Hotel staff very friendly. Location was great. Room had ants. Wifi was next to none. Food was amazing.
• Bee (8/5): Nice hotel close to the beach - Generally we are happy with the stay although the hotel is a bit old. It will be good to upgrade the bathroom as the water drainage is not that good. There are nearby restaurants to eat so you don't have to eat in the same restaurant all the time.
• Verified traveler (8/5): The food in Bubu Resort is seriously good!! - The rooms are a bit small but the restaurant makes up for it. Amazing food and service. Had an amazing time :)
• Joanna (6/5): Beautiful beach - The island is beautiful, perfect beach and water. Unfortunately they're building a new hotel next door, which disrupted the idyllic island vibe a bit! The staff at the hotel are excellent, great service and very friendly. 2 free cocktails each every day was a great bonus, as was service on the beach. The restaurant was good, especially the bbq, however the breakfast buffet was average. The room was small and basic, in honesty we expected more for the price we paid, and given that Bubu is hailed as the best resort on the island.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Greatstay - Lovely hotel right on a white sand beach. Very kind, helpful and friendly staff. Good snorkelling trip organised by hotel. I saw sharks and loads of turtles. Really good food at the restaurant. Some people complained about the music from a nearby beach bar until 3 am but I couldn't hear anything in room 12. Rooms 1 and 2 etc are beachfront and exposed to noise.
• dongik (6/5): not satisfactoy - Hotel infra was not bad. However most of the staffs were lack of servicemens attitude. Especially considering the level of the hotel and value paid thereon. In neighbor constuction is going on sound of which was quite annoying.

• Mady (8/5): Such a lovely stay - We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and had a lovely time. Our room had a great view of the beach and the sunrise. Everything was just lovely and the island is a little bit of paradise.

• Torbern (10/5): wonderful family getaway at an amazing location - We stayed with our two young children for 4 nights in Bubu resort and enjoyed it very much. The staff at Bubu is extraordinary friendly and helpful. The food in the hotel restaurant is amazing - not 1 dish ever disappointed! The location and the wonderful staff at Bubu makes the stay at Long Beach in Perhentian an unforgettable experience.
• Karen (8/5): perhentian Kecil - The rooms were great and its a super location. The food is awesome too. However the service is frustratingly slow and they need a sun lounger policy!
