- ROBERT STERLING (10/5): - My wife and I recently spent 7 nights at the amazing Hotel Dupond Smith. From the moment that we checked in until the moment that we checked out, this was an absolutely wonderful experience which made our trip to Paris a truly unforgettable vacation. The entire staff - in particular Arthus & Nicolas but also Farid and Christof - were warm, welcoming, engaging and professional, always ready to arrange taxi rides and provide great suggestions. The daily freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, banana bread and apple cake were a real treat. The hotel is situated on a small street in the heart of Le Marais – a great location where Notre Dame, the Pompidou Center, Place de Vosges, etc. are all less than a 12 minute walk. The accommodations were 5 Star all the way. Continuous room service that begins at 7:AM was fantastic.. The mini-bar was stocked with liquors, wines, pre-made cocktails, beer, soda, etc. The bathroom was large, the beds comfortable and the room totally soundproofed. If you are planning a trip to Paris and thinking of staying in Le Marais, you should seriously consider this great little hotel. It really doesn’t get any better than this...

I am a veteran traveler, and I must say the staff and the hotel was the best I’ve ever stayed in. Comfort attention to detail willingness to answer questions. Top notch! If you’re looking for a place that is central to great things the metro and walk a building this is the hotel. I traveled with four grandchildren, had four rooms better than I ever could’ve imagined. However, black mold all over the shower tiles, a room key which constantly failed, room not being made-up by 4pm, mini-bar/bathroom supplies not renewed…it was a litany of irritations and annoyances. Staff reaction was, at best, offhand. I really would not recommend.

The perfect Marais location and very walkable. Service a little flat for what is essentially a boutique hotel. A little engagement would have gone a long way.

- Vicky (10/5): - We had a lovely stay at this tiny boutique hotel, the area is amazing , the staff are exceptional, little extras made our stay special, hand written welcome notes , welcome cocktail & cake in the afternoons. Our room (40) had a tiny balcony which gave it a real Parisian feel, big comfortable bed with lots of pillows & a large bathroom with dressing gowns and slippers. You just need to update the bedroom carpet and sort the broken toilet flush and all would be perfect . Thank you again for a fabulous stay .

- michelle (10/5): Amazing stay in a boutique hotel - We had the most amazing stay! From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted. Our bed was so comfortable and the shower had amazing pressure. Our room had a balcony which we enjoyed resting in. The hotel is so close to many things but is off a side street so don’t have all the noise. Perfect for walking to all tourist attractions from the Latin quarter, Louvre, and more! The hotel provided delicious ice cream and baked goods daily. The receptionists were so welcoming and provided ideas for meals and how to spend the day. If you are looking for a small boutiquey hotel look no further! We also traveled with our 8 month old and they provided a pack and play for him to stay as well. Overall amazing experience!

It looks like a lovely hotel and they were very helpful in finding me another five star hotel nearby and helped us with our luggage. I cannot explain why I have a confirmation from Expedia and a welcome letter from. the property And yet when we arrived in the evening, they had no room for us, never mind the suite that we reserved through Expedia. What are use Expedia again? They offered me 200 Expedia point credit for future use. I declined and felt insulted by Expedia to make this offer. So sad but positive outcome with new reservation thank you to American Express Travel

Hotel staff was delightful and always ready to help with reservations or to make a recommendation or answer a question.
- Gordon (10/5): - The hotel is in the Marais. There are countless restaurants and shops just outside, you will never be bored of the options. The Metro is also right nearby so it is very convenient. It is also a short walk to Notre Dame and the Seine. The best part of all is the staff, they are the friendliest and bake goods everyday for the guests! The room is also clean and comfortable. The area is a bit noisy though and the room setup with the toilet being separate from the rest of the bathroom is a bit strange, but nothing to really complain about.

Location can't be beat, in the middle of many shops and restaurants, and short 10-minute walk to the Metro/RER and Notre Dame Cathedral, and 25-minute walk to Louvre. We mainly interacted with three different staff members at the front desk, all were friendly and helpful. Welcome drink and snack were great touch. Room is small, to be expected by European standards, but the bathroom is surprisingly large. Overall would recommend this hotel and stay again.

- Andrea (10/5): Wonderful, boutique hotel in heart of Le Marais - This is a wonderful boutique hotel, located in the heart of Le Marais near Rue de Rosiers. It is privately-owned with only eight rooms, so they provide personal and exceptional customer attention. The room I stayed in (#41) was well-decorated and spacious with a huge bathroom. When I checked out, the hotel stored my luggage so I could continue shopping. The only downside is meal service limited to breakfast, though there are many restaurants nearby. I only wish I could have stayed longer at this hotel and look forward to being back.

After reporting this issue, there was no response from their management. Strange of them to ignore such a huge violation of client privacy.
- Or (10/5): Excellent location, style and service! - MODERN, STYLISH, CLEAN, and QUIET boutique hotel. GREAT LOCATION in the heart of the fashionable Le Marais district, close to many hip restaurants and bars. The neighbourhood itself is very nice and safe. Despite all of the amazing places nearby, the hotel itself is peaceful and quiet. GREAT SERVICE - the reps in the service desk assisted us with everything we asked for including booking a taxi for us to the airport. One day we woke up *late* and went out for just 1 hour to simply grab a quick coffee in one of the nearby boulangeries, during this short time our was tidied up and cleaned - what a service! :) We were upgraded to a suite (see attached pictures) - the room was VERY SPACIOUS. We even had a walk-in closet, which was quickly utilized by the Mrs :) We'd highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Paris, and would definitely stay there again in our next trips to the city.

Expensive, as it's Paris after all, but a fantastic location right in the middle of the Marais district; you just walk outside the hotel and you're right in the middle of wonderful cafes, stores, museums, and a fun pedestrian scene. Yet the hotel itself is quiet, relaxing, and peaceful. The staff is superb: Silvio was incredibly helpful with recommendations, answering our questions and making sure our stay was comfortable. The hotel is definitely a splurge, but worth it.

The hotel was completed remodeled a few years ago, and the rooms are contemporary and comfortable. She made a fuss of the kids and helped us by booking some restaurants for dinner that night as well as tips on places to go. Although the food at breakfast was not a highlight, the fact that they put a candle in a cake for our daughter's birthday (which i had mentioned at check in the day before) was such a nice touch. It made the stay very memorable! The location is fantastic, its so buzzy round there and there are so many brilliant restaurants and shops. The room was quiet, comfortable and very cool. My husband and i are already planning our return without the kids!! would highly recommend.

We were given a Map of the local area with areas of interest to visit. We asked for a lunch recommendation & the Restaurant called Benedict was super. We are attending a concert to the Accor Hotel Area which was three stops away on the Metro which was a short walk away from the hotel. The room was beautifully decorated with a well stocked mini bar & snacks. There was even a hotel mobile phone supplied for us to us around town so that we didn't use up our own data roaming. Marais is a lovely part of Paris - we will be back! Throughly recommend this hotel.
- Andrea (10/5): Great boutique hotel in the heart of Le Marais - This hotel was even better than I expected. Not only is the location perfect for touring and exploring (by foot, train or bus), but the rooms were surprisingly spacious, nicely decorated, had free wifi, comfy beds, and the staff was very responsive and knowledgable. We were upgraded to a suite and the room itself was absolutely perfect. Definitely not the stereotypical european room I was expecting. We stayed in a large chain hotel near the Louvre the first few days of our trip and switching to Hotel Dupond Smith for the last few days was such a nice treat. As a first time traveler to France looking for the quintessential Parisian experience, this hotel was perfect in every way. I would absolutely recommend it!

- Jenn (10/5): Great hotel - My husband and I were lucky to find this hotel. We were originally supposed to stay in an apartment that we found on airbnb, but that apartment was terrible. So we were lucky to find a special on Hotel Dupond Smith for the night. We were even upgraded to a suite for free! The staff was great. Charles is amazing. The room itself was definitely 5 star. They even had a cell phone in the room which was available for us to use during our stay (it had apps and guides around the city). I wish we could've stayed for more than 1 night, but they were booked for the rest of the weekend.
- Gabriela (10/5): Wonderful hotel - Great tiny hotel wonderful staff. room is immaculate. staff very knowledgeable. its a nice quite tucked away block in the middle of everything so not too noisy. close enough to the center of paris and perfect area to just wander.
