• Andrea (8/5): Good stay - The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the check-in was efficient and friendly. The breakfast was good (the pancake machine is fun to watch). My only complaints would be that some of the room furnishings are getting a bit shabby and should be replaced, and I didn't care for having identical mounted bottles for soap and hand lotion; it's too easy to accidently get the wrong one.

Reasonably quiet, just off the hwy, and within walking distance to several restaurants and a family park with a playground. Bed very comfortable. Good free breakfast. Due to the close proximity to the hwy we could hear large trucks at times but still slept well.

The staff were friendly at check-in, the pool facilities were very nice (probably one of the nicer ones in the area), and the room was spacious. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Fort St. John or for anyone who wants to host a children's party.

• Albert (2/5): - On the first night I stayed my gas tank was drilled into and fuel drained and stolen. There’s a tent city behind the parking lot in the bush I did not see. When confronted after the manager told me her would not help with room costs and that parking is at own risk. $1600 for a new fuel tank installed. I recommend finding another place to stay.
• Christine (1/5): Did not and will not stay here. - Booked 4 rooms under one reservation and one credit card via Booking.com. Upon arrival the hotel staff couldn’t find the 4 rooms. Just the one room was available under my name. I showed the staff member my booking.com confirmation and he still couldn’t find the four rooms. He then told us the hotel was full and he couldn’t accommodate all of us. He then directed us to a hotel down the road and we left. The next day I saw full charges on my credit card from the hotel. After calling several times and going back a day later, they would not refund me the charges, telling me that the rooms for my coworkers were under each individuals names and we simply did not check in as planned. Will not stay at this Holiday Inn again nor will my company use them in the future when travelling to FSJ. Staff were unaccommodating. Clearly there was a miscommunication and although it was no one inparticulars fault, they would not refund one individual the charges for 4 unused rooms. It’s not like it comes out of that staff members pocket. But it does come out of mine. Unapologetic and unwilling to help.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Good staff some inconvenience - Great staff. Noisy neighbors. Sound proof can be improved. Breakfast starts at 7am on weekends, which is not very convenient for people working on weekends.

I had carry my own bedding upstairs while holding other stuff after asking for them so many times, they told me they can't have say beds and I'm surprised, the room was super large and lots of room for an extra room. My son ended up falling from their very high bed as I expected he would. Use of plastic plates and utensils for breakfast was to much. Souch waste. Hard to watch

• Jessica (8/5): - The hotel itself is a nice building, the pool is excellent for families, nice hot tub, nice pool with a fun water slide. Our room was perfect for our family, the only downfall is the room was pretty dirty. I had went down to the front desk and told them what was dirty and asked if it could be cleaned the next day, we were told yes, but during our 3 day stay the room wasn’t cleaned. On the walls there was something like pasta sauce of some kind or orange stuff on the walls and it never got cleaned. Ledges and the bathroom were fairly dirty still. The room itself was nice but it was dirty. Next time we’ll probably stay at a different hotel that is clean.
