• Kamajast (9/5): Goede lokatie, centraal gelegen - Goede lokatie, centraal gelegen tussen "Tan... sceneries", "treinstation Luoyang Longmen", "Botanische Chinese tuinen/park" en de "Longmen grottoes". Dus allemaal gemakkelijk via korte ritten met ride hail service (Didi) te bereiken.
• Arek (8/5): Dobry wybór na krótki pobyt. - Dobra lokalizacja. Duża łazienka, gdzie można było wyprać i wysuszyć bieliznę w trasie. Wygodne łóżka i obszerny pokój. Śniadania raczej dla Chińczyków. Jak ktoś gustuje w lokalnej kuchni będzie zadowolony. Europejczyk przyzwyczajony do śniadania kontynentalnego nie znajdzie nic poza jajkami sadzonymi "na twardo". O wędlinach i żółtym serze zapomnijcie również. Mimo tego głodni nie będziecie. Po prostu trzeba będzie się zaadoptować, a kto to potrafi nie będzie miał problemu. W tej cenie warto zmienić przyzwyczajenia. I jeszcze jedno - gdyby ktoś miał ochotę na TV to musicie znać chiński :-) Brak innych kanałów.

• Pablo Gabriel Gil (10/5): EXCELENTE!!!! - Las instalaciones modernas, la espaciosa, el desayuno excelente: consiste en una gran variedad de platos chinos pero para los occidentales tienen: huevos fritos, duros, duros en salsa de soja, omelete, verduras, sandia y melón, cafes y tes de flores y gran variedad excelentes, yogurt, preparaciones con arroz y con fideos de arroz, etc., todo de muy buena calidad, tal vez lo no tan bueno es la parte de bollería que tenía algunos tipo mufin y croissant pero no muy buenos. El servicio y la calidad de atención de la recepción es excelente, con una recepción con dispenser de tes, helados y cafes de máquina todo free. Mejorable sería que hablaran inglés, aunque siempre estuvo la muy buena predisposición de comprender y darse a entender con traductor.

• Swee Noi (8/5): - Had an excellent stay in large part due to the exceptional service of Ms Li Yan Yan (Yuki). She was most helpful and hospitable at check-in. Attended to my all questions, advised me on what to do and helped me booked tickets for a performance. She was amazing! She made my first visit to Luoyang a fantastic one. Thank you, Ms Yuki Li! The hotel is clean, next to metro station, few minutes walk to a local supermarket. Easy to get to the main sights.

Ci hanno lasciato dei fogli con scritto di aver notato alcune delle nostre preferenze e ci hanno messo altre bustine di tè e bustine per il bagno. È un hotel comodo per andare alle grotte di Longmen ma anche per spostarsi in centro città in quanto la fermata della metro è a due passi.

Die Ausstattung ist für Reisende perfekt. Man kann hier seine Wäsche kostenlos waschen. Im Flur gibt es jederzeit kostenlos Wasserflaschen. Ich würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder wählen.

• DirkW107 (8/5): Holiday Inn Express - Holiday Inn is standard business fare, no matter where it is, it is a tried & tested formula. Nothing to get excited about, but you cannot fault it either. It is all clean, convenient and efficient - cookie cutter. I found the breakfast room a little sterile, more factory canteen-style - and it got very busy there.

• Johny (2/5): Disappointment - Nice Rooms. I made a reservation for three people because the booking system on Booking.com allowed me to do so. However, during check-in, I was informed that the room I booked was only for two people. I am 100% sure that I booked for three people, which I also showed at the reception with my booking confirmation. After a lengthy discussion, I was eventually forced to pay extra for the third person. This was unfair and very misleading on the hotel’s part, considering I had booked for three people and therefore expected a room suitable for three, without any additional charges. Another issue I would like to highlight: I pre-booked a one-day tour to the Shaolin Temple and Longmen Grottoes through the hotel. From the beginning, there was a misunderstanding: the hotel reception told us the tour would start at 8:15 AM in front of the hotel. In reality, the guide from JIN XIANG Holiday arrived 10 minutes early and waited next to us, rushing us while we were still enjoying breakfast. I would also like to issue a strong warning regarding this agency, JIN XIANG Holiday, which proved to be an absolutely disastrous travel agency due to the completely incompetent and unqualified tour guide assigned to us. She didn’t speak a single word of English, showed no willingness to communicate with us, and never waited for us at any stop — which almost caused us to get lost during the tour and miss the bus back to Luoyang. Overall, my experience with this hotel, especially their communication, was absolutely disastrous. No one at the reception spoke English or understood a single word in any language other than Chinese. All of this led to a series of completely unnecessary and frustrating problems during our stay in Luoyang.

• Pat (9/5): Good and Reliable hotel to stay at Luoyang - The location is not that centrally located that you can find many malls or restaurants, nevertheless as the underground train station is just outside the hotel, it is very easily accessible to all the nearby shopping centres and all the points of interest in Luoyang. We have encountered good and efficient front desk staff like all the Holiday Inn Hotels we used in China, warm and willing to help to give the best assistance they could, they helped me to locate a Bank of China branch nearby which can help to update my latest passport details while I failed to do it twice at ZhengZhou The location is a bit off central but with the help of subway station just next door, it helped to travel to all the points of interest easily
• Shi Lun (6/5): - Decent hotel with big room. However even if staying in a non smoking room, you will still able to smell the smoke from other rooms. For visitors that can’t stand cigarettes, consider to avoid.

• Lev (9/5): Superb - Location is great, just near a subway station, in a few stops from the high-speed train station and from the Peony square. The breakfast was very good with a great choice, room and bed were comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very helpful and used translate app to communicate. The breakfast had a mix of international and Chinese dishes. The hotel was around 15 mins from the train station. Request a non smoking floor if you don't like the smell of cigarettes. Leave plenty of time to get to the train station, traffic is very busy. No fridge in the room.

• Athan_p (7/5): Good - The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the bed was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was really, really good (the eggs were basically perfect) it was good value, and within walking distance to many restaurants. A bit far to the old town by foot, but the subway is literally right outside the hotel, so no issues whatsoever. While the bed was comfortable and in good condition, the furniture in the room looked quite old and stained and in need of replacement. Also, the carpet could've used a clean, I think.

Onsite self service laundry which can have a queue. Walking distance to some eateries and supermarkets. Good stopover to see the Shaolin temple if you are a fan.

Strategic location right next to metro station with a minute walk. Room is spacious cum with kettle, tea and coffee.Free wifi. Free breakfast with plenty of choices for Chinese local but minimal for western breakfast type. We are allowed to put our luggage in the baggage storage room after check out in the hotel and return to collect it back. The only drawback is long queue for the coffee at the coffee machine during breakfast in the restaurant. There was something wrong with the coffee machine and lack of staff to look into it.

Despite communication problems, they were very considerate & provided extra tea bags in our rooms Non of the staff could understand or speak English which is a major disadvantage to foreign tourists .

• Kristina (8/5): Spacious Rooms and Mixed Service Experience - The rooms seemed significantly larger compared to European Holiday Inns, which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was acceptable, and the staff was polite and helpful. After check-out, we left our belongings in storage and picked them up later in the evening without any issues. We checked in closer to the evening, and one of the rooms had a strong smell of cigarettes. We requested a room change, and our request was promptly accommodated, though our earlier request for adjacent rooms was not fulfilled.
• Winarty (9/5): While in Luoyang: Longmen Grottoes, BaiMa Temple, Tracing Luoshen Fu (show@19:30). - Room was very spacious and clean. Right in front of the hotel is subway Line 2 (Citizen’s Home exit D). There’s Dennis Department store (丹尼斯百货) a few minutes walk away behind the hotel. No one speaks English.

• Ailay (9/5): Great location and staffs - Good location with a subway station right at the corner, and shops and restaurants at a walking distance too. The staffs are helpful especially the housekeeping staff who is very attentive to the guests needs. Happy to see there is a free laundry provided. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. Breakfast is more or less the same everyday (we stayed for 3 nights), serving fried beansprouts for consecutively 2 days. There should be more western variaties since they're a lot of foreigners' groups too.

Laundry service is available, although I did not use it. Great location, close to the underground, though displays incorrectly in Apple Maps. Clean. Not the newest hotel
• Maeva (8/5): - the property is well situated right next to 2nd line Metro station, this station easy transfer to #1 line. The metro line #2 where the hotel stop Citizen Home to balitang to catch #81 bus directly reach Longmen grotto, also some Luoyang old historical site with just a big block.
• YONG (10/5): - Very good breakfast with lots of selections. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very close to Subway station.
• Yuewing (7/5): We had a pleasant 9 days stay and a great time discovering helpful and friendly Luoyang people. - Breakfast was a good spread of local hot dishes, meat, vegetables, soup, porridge, noodles, western cereals, bread, salads, fruits, coffee etc. The dinning area staffs are friendly and clean up table quickly. The room is quiet with a view of the main road. Good size room and simple bathroom with shower cubicle. Although the location is south of the river away from most of the attractions and old town it was nearer to the Longmen Grottos. Best of all is having the subway entrance of Line 2 just beside the hotel. (Citizens' Home) where the north bond train meets Line 1 at the Jiefanglu Station. All the major attractions are doted along Line 1 in the eastward direction. The staff at Front Desk are helpful and friendly. The air condition was not working well. It was hot in the room and affected our sleep. The hotel explains that it is the central control system which they cannot rectify. They gave us a standing fan!

• Adisorn (2/5): Miserable experience - Room is big, Metro is right in front of the hotel. The whole hotel stank like burning cigarettes. We requested non smoking room but the staff put us in a smoking room on a smoking floor. It was a miserable experience, we had to breathe the smoke all night. At that moment was very warm outside the hotel turn off the air conditioner and turn on the heat unfortunately our room no window, the next day we ask to change the room and we found it the first step put us in the Smoking Room on the Smoking floor ..that was terrible....
