- Susan (8/5): Great for 1 night. Friendly and relaxed - Very clean and well cared for and maintained Parking very tricky and restricted. Excellent if you arrived by train which I didn’t.

- Lesley (10/5): Lovely - Location breakfast Small room
- Jeffrey (10/5): Fantastic accomodation and location. - Beautiful accommodation in a great location. Susanne was a wonderful host. Breakfast was nothing short of delicious. I would highly recommend.
- Robyn (5/5): - The location was good. The dust and the motor noise on the ceiling that fired up every half hour and ran for a minute. It drove me insane and made it impossible to sleep.
- Blaithin (10/5): -
- Man Nong (10/5): -
- Kristy (8/5): - Stayed in the Evelyn room. Great location, clean and comfortable. Room was big enough for 2. Woken by street noise in the early morning,
- peter (7/5): Nice , but a bit disappointed . - Location , ambience cleanliness The fact that the advertising does not say , your own bathroom , is down the hallway !
I see in comments that people ask if they are ensuited , and then they tell them , but not on your add ,, so really avoiding people knowing ,, and for nearly $300 a nite I expect an ensuite !
Very disappointing , so best to lower your pricing and let people know , I see your predicament as a builder , but please adjust accordingly!
And a small tip , if your going to have nice potted plants in your entry , take care of them , or take them away 😉

- 7a0cc52e5433732bf6041b7a4fffbfd9 (8/5): - The accommodation was clean, comfortable and in a great location. The stairs were a bit challenging with a suitcase for older people.
- Jodie (10/5): Loved it. Very cosy. Great location. Breakfast was delicious. The host was lovely and gave us some great tips - Location, quaint, cleanliness, staff, breakfast Nothing
- Susan (10/5): Beautiful B&B - Fabulous old building. Very tasteful decor.
Genna was so helpful with everything, a very capable worker who was on hand to assist all the guests. The stair cases were high, windy & narrow - a bit difficult with luggage. Need a stool or chair in room 2, nowhere to sit except on the bed.
- Kerry (10/5): -
- Adam (9/5): - A central location, close to both the wharf for the Rottnest Ferry and the main streets for restaurants.
- Roger (9/5): - Ideal location for Fremantle sightseeing and close to station and ferry.
- Ella (8/5): -
- Michael (10/5): -
- Thais (10/5): - Sussane was an incredible hostess and the facilities were cozy and clean. The breakfast was delicious and suited to our dietary needs with GF and vegan options.
- David (10/5): - Great locatation Nothing
- Joanne (10/5): Lovely atmosphere, great location , friendly stay over / highly recommended - Fabulously central , historic features to building and just lovely vibe Nothing
- Jane (9/5): Very quaint B&B, would recommend - The host Suzanne was super lovely and incredibly knowledgeable about the property and its history. She put together an elegant and quaint continental breakfast that suited the atmosphere of the property.
Great location, easy walking distance to nearby key sites including the Rottnest ferry. There were quite a few fruit lies and small flying insects. Could have come from the drain but Suzanne was helpful in providing bug spray.
- YING CHEN (10/5): The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. - breakfast.
- Catherine (9/5): Lovely stay. - Clear instructions about check in and parking.
The breakfast in the tea-room was delightful on the day we could make it there.
Beds were comfortable, and everything worked as it should in the room.
Very close to the local restaurants, ferry terminal for Rottnest and breweries. I think they should make early/ take away breakfast available for those who have to leave early or don't want to eat exactly 8-9am. I did appreciate that they provided some items after we asked, but I don't think it would have been offered otherwise, despite it being included in the room price.
- Carol (9/5): -
- Alistair (9/5): Beautiful heritage building excellent location and breakfast was beautifully presented - Breakfast was very nicely served
Location was excellent There was nothing we didn’t like
- Anne (9/5): - Lovely restored historic building in a lively part of Fremantle. Breakfast was delicious and we loved the personal service while enjoying the parlor. There is a bit of street noise, but this is to be expected in the city. Booking.com did not send the check in instructions so we had to wait to connect with the staff.
- Melissa (10/5): -
- Ulrike (9/5): - Charmantes Haus, mitten in Fremantle, trotzdem ruhig gelegen.
- Ross (9/5): - Well located , close to restaurants, bars and the docks. Excellent breakfast and hospitality. The room was a bit stuffy. Its on a busy road and with windows open noisy from foot traffic and the night we stayed was bin night. However didn't detract from our stay..
- SOH (9/5): -
- Ghis (8/5): Amazing building - What a gorgeous space. The way this room is set up was very tasteful. The instructions for arrival were very easy to follow. A beautiful building in an amazing part of Freemantle. The subterranean space had some rising damp issues that should probably be addressed at some stage, but I'm pretty sure that was only in the room under the stairs...
- Robyn (10/5): Excellent - It was such a classic place, that is so in line with what you expect in Fremantle. The staff were great and breakfast amazing. The bottle of sherry with small crystal glasses was such a nice touch.
- Suzanne (10/5): - The entire experience with Fremantle Bed & Breakfast was fantastic. The ease of checking in, the beautiful bedroom setup had everything you needed in the morning for an early cuppa and the breakfast was amazing. Loved everything about it and would definitely stay again Nothing
- Gordon (8/5): Beautiful and historic building within walking distance of all Freo’s attractions. - It is a beautiful and old building in the heart of the historic east end of Fremantle and within walking distance of all Freo’s attractions and restaurants. Beautiful high ceilings and quality fittings and a fantastic continental breakfast supplied as well. Parking is an issue as it is very expensive in Fremantle. There are plenty of nearby places to actually park your car but, as I said, it’s not cheap. I would suggest parking out of town and bussing or catching the train in.
- Erica (10/5): - Very personable peaceful accommodation. Breakfast included was special Susanne made up individual breakfasts for each client.
The location is perfect, 5 min walk to the bus and train station. and 8 min walk to Bathers Beach. It was all perfect for me.
- Katherine (9/5): Great communication , clean and comfortable. Also the breakfast was cute and great options! - Great location in Fremantle and love the historical look of the accommodation. Lots of stairs so hard with a lot of luggage so not ideal for everyone but my husband and I didn’t mind!
- Toni (10/5): - The design No stair rails
- Anne (10/5): A real gem and so pleased to have found it. - Breakfast was a beautiful way to start the day. Our preordered breakfast choices were served to us by Susanne on a beautifully presented tray at our table. It is an intimate dining room that feels very cosy and peaceful.
I also liked that the building entry with keypad felt very secure.
The bed was very comfortable and presented with beautiful bed linen.
- Alan (9/5): Great stay in Fremantle, room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was amazing and I would definitely recommend. - Everything was perfect!
- Iris (9/5): A relaxing stay in the padt - This is a beautiful old building, perfectly restored. Breakfast was excellent, very fresh and set in a relaxing space. I was travelling alone and would recommend. The stairs were challenging, but I got help on arrival and departure. A little bit more bench space in the bathroom.
- Sandra Drury-Hayes (7/5): - Location & tea/coffee facilities in the room. No wifi password and breakfast is a very limited choice. Quite noisy in the mornings, bin trucks and the place doesn't seem to have underlay under carpets, so people walking round sounds like they are stomping.
- Nicola (8/5): Excellent place to stay - Great location, clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful host. Toilet and bathroom down corridor and not connected to the room
- Marnie (8/5): - Loved the location More storage in bathroom for personal items.
- Matthew (10/5): -
- georgina (10/5): - Great location and very comfortable and clean Having to share the bathroom
- Sarah (10/5): - Right in the heart of Fremantle with vegan breakfast available! Lovely staff, very comfy bed! 10/10, amazing pricing too. The only catch is that some of the arrangements have shared bathrooms, but this didn't affect our stay and they were tidy and other visitors respectful. Truly charming 💐 (literally right by the Round House, Bathers Beach, High St, and the old colonial buildings).
- Lydia (10/5): - The host was wonderful and the place really beautiful! Will definitely come back !!!
- Anna (10/5): Homely, affordable luxury in the heart of Freo - Bespoke, vintage vibe. Very clean and comfortable with a lovely feeling you don’t get in a hotel. The hosts are very discreet, warm, friendly, and helpful. The location so fantastic, in the heart of Freo. Short walk to train station. I will be back. I loved everything.
- Rosemarie (10/5): Great place to stay. - The whole Place was Excellent. We would go there again. Nothing
- Glen (8/5): Tarantellas nightclub? Wow! - The location is ex Ellen’s and the owner is so sweet. We stayed in the basement which had a slight misty smell and does need a bit of love.
- Michael (8/5): -
- Bronwyn (9/5): -
- Mike (9/5): -
- Junyan (3/5): delicate antique place and old building noisy - good location and elegant look house. We rental the basement for one night and paid $305. The building is elegant but very very old. Anyone walk around the window or upstairs cost a big noise which made us both stayed awake nearly whole night. Also, the single bed is quite cubby as well. Each move, you can hear a loud squeeze noise even with the ear plug.
Bath room facility is delicate like antique goods. We had to handle them very carefully without broken them. Each time flush the toilet, the horrible sounds last for 15-20seconds or even more. And do not know what cause the stranger sounds which keep repeat time by time like some thing keep rushing in the pipe. Very noisy.
Breakfast is included but only oat/yoga/toast. Hope there is some easy protein like boiled egg supplied.
To be honest, I do not know why it has such a high score on booking.com Maybe those did not rent the separate beds basement like us. I will not choose any building / accommodation like it and including it again.
- Gary (10/5): - Great location. Breakfast was excellent too - lots of good options. Great to chat with the host and get advice and recommendations on local attractions. Stayed on the top floor so there were a few stairs to climb. Not a big issue for us but some people might not like it
- Andrea (5/5): - Beautiful historical house close to restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was continental style and we were offered seconds. Not all rooms had ensuite off the room which was misleading on Booking.com. Thankfully we were able to switch to a room with ensuite bathroom. The room and bed was very small for two people. The pillows were too high and gave me neck pain the next day. I didn’t get a very good sleep and found myself fighting with the sheets.
- Huihong (8/5): -
- Yolanda (10/5): Beautiful relaxing stay! - Such a beautiful old building and inside still has that timeless charm! The host was super friendly The bathroom was a little small to navigate, but being such an old building, you get that.
- Laerte (10/5): -
- Mark (10/5): - Wonderful stay. Very well located, easy to get around, and everything was just as expected. We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived and would happily stay again. Thank you The breakfast was super cute and beautifully presented. A little protein could be a nice touch, such as an egg, cheese or ham.
- Meaghan (10/5): Charming accommodation, wished I was there longer… - Beautiful multilevel accommodation. Well maintained property. Clear entry instructions, with a lovely sitting room, with games and books about Freo. Breakie service was 10/10. Bathroom was nicely stocked with body wash, hair wash and hairdryer Shower was a little slippery. So many steps but the place is charming you soon forgive this.
- Fran (10/5): Perfect little havenp - Friendly staff and warm welcome. Knowledge of area and perfect positioning of accommodation. Very clean and comfortable. Very filling and fresh breakfast. Nothing to not like
- K (10/5): - Check in instructions were very clear, and the room was comfortable.
Susanne is very friendly and nice person.
I ordered breakfast as well and it tasted good!
I will recommend to my friend.
- SHOULIAN (4/5): -
- Ian (8/5): -
- Kristina (10/5): - Love the character building and its location close to the Round house and Bathers Beach and heart of Fremantle .
The rooms are so beautifully styled and light and airy .
Enjoyed a beautifully presented breakfast each morning downstairs .
A truly unique and personal boutique experience with wonderful staff.
- Craig (1/5): I’d like a refund thanks - Beautiful building wow I arrived at 2 pm as that was check in time and room wasn’t ready ..!
I left thinking what the hell
At 2:29pm I had an email saying it’s ready
Not good enough
- Joel (10/5): Excellent - would stay there again. - Breakfast was great simple continental with juice and fresh fruit for muesli.

- Andrea (10/5): Loved Fremantle and staying at Fremantle Bed and Breakfast - Everything
- Robert (8/5): Leuke sfeervolle b&b - Supermooie b&b
- Jeannette (10/5): Loved this Place and will return. - Breakfast was lovely. All fresh and presented in a beautiful way on a tray table. The bathroom is very small and nowhere to put toiletries.
Nichts! Alles perfekt! Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.
- Kate (10/5): Gorgeous and cosy accommodation with generous and caring staff - Cosy and clean accommodation. The real value was in the care of host Susanne who was knowledgeable and friendly but gave space. Food was also amazing.
- Kaylia (8/5): -
- muriel (10/5): -
- MANDY (9/5): Great location and property propels you back to being in Europe. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. - Location and ambiance of the building. Interior like stepping into a European building - it’s decor quirky but very well executed. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast delicious and well presented. Definitely would revisit man’s stay longer next time. Noisy water drainage from upstairs (accommodation was part of the basement) and some street noise late at night.
- Lorraine (10/5): - The location was superb, hosts were very friendly and helpful with sight seeing advice
- Crissa Marie (10/5): Exquisite place, lovely staff, close to restos and the port. - Charming accommodation! Nothing really, just stairs but nothing to complain about lovely nostalgic room. We just left our heavy luggage downstairs and it was all safe. Thanks to lovely Suzanne who was so helpful with carrying our luggage as well and we felt at home with her.
We adore the posh breakfast selection and how it was served. And I love the heater in the shower room. We had the mostly peaceful sleep ever! We love bonding the cute dog Benny. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.
- Robert (9/5): Old style B and B in a charming building with a winderful host. - Amazing location in the centre of the old part of Fremantle. |Lovely room, the smallest unfortunately since I was late booking, but not a problem. Shared bathroom is fine - the lounge downstairs always avaialble for a read or for spreading out and relaxing. Nice fellow guests - it's a small place. Susanne is a charming and knowledgeable host who makes a fine breakfast - including crumpets! Parking is simple and the beach and bars are a step away.
- Vicky (10/5): Super one night stay - The location and accommodation was perfect for our one night stay but would be just right for a longer trip.
