Guest Reviews
- Lorraine (8/5): Quiet nice place. - The hosts were very nice and accommadating for our late night arrival and phone for us when our shuttle didn't show up on departure. The place is quiet and abit out of town but close to the bus station and has a delicious restaurant next door that emplys handycap employees who use sign language. Aircon...hot shower and breakfast....great!
- Robert (10/5): Great Place - This place was very cheap but very nice. Great value. Close to Robinsons Place. Staff was great. Wifi worked well.
- Sarah (10/5): Cheapest Nice Hotel - Sir Luis did everything possible to make this a truly unique and memorable trip for us..From arrival to departure that included in our accommodation, the good breakfast served, Nothing was too difficult for them. The rooms are spacious comfortable and clean. The bedding clean and the towels are clean and fluffy. The beds are very comfortable. Internet connection is also excellent.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A peaceful place to stay & the staff are very accomodating. A comfort of your own home.
- Mark (2/5): Horrendous experience - We stayed in a double room for two nights. It was a tiny, dirty room with a tiny dirty toilet. The flush on the toilet was broken so you have to use a bucket to skip it out. The air conditioner is from the middle of the last century and sounds like sleeping next to a jet engine. The breakfast consisted of ice cold fried eggs, ice cold bacon and a twenty minute ordeal to get a cup a tea. Any complaints or requests for assistance were met by stupefied silence which dragged on for so long we simply left and put up with it. The location is well out of the way for downtown Puerto though is on the road out of town which is advisable for a quick exit! They do offer a free airport pickup though of course they were late picking us up which took any of the good out of it. Overall a terrible hotel with useless service and a collection of rooms that haven't been cleaned in very long time.
- Hanna (10/5): Very good place to stay in Puerto Princesa! - Great place, clean and spacious, close to the National Highway and Robinson Shopping Mall, yet in a quiet little street. Staff was nice and friendly and always helpful. It's a bit far from town - with traffic congestion around 30 min by tricycle, way too far to walk in a heat. Bot good starting point for Honda Bay and Undeground River as it's right on the way to these attractions. Room was very clean and comfortable, with good AC. Great value for the money and I will definitely recommend it!
- Bennie (6/5): Good enough for my overnight stay - I stayed here for one night prior to my flight back to Cebu the following afternoon. This place was somewhat difficult to find at night (my tricycle driver had to ask around a few times) but the good thing is that it's tucked away far enough from the main road that it's quiet throughout the day. The room was ok but oddly laid out. I also had the room furthest from the office so I couldn't access wifi in my room. The complimentary breakfast and shuttle to the airport were nice bonuses though! Overall, this place was good enough for my overnight stay. I probably would've looked elsewhere if my stay were longer.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent location close to the main bus terminal - Pick up from the airport was promised and prompt even though I was staying one night only. Supermarket across the road to stock up on supplies. Drop off at the bus terminal was convenient for an early bus to El Nido. The woman at the counter was not blessed with a winning personality but the male partner made up for this.
- ana (10/5): So fine and so satisfied at Amerson pension house. - I enjoyed my stayed, staff friendly, they accommodate whatever you requested, room fine with me. All in all highly recommended to budgeted travellers....
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice hotel close to public market and restaurants - I stayed one night only but it was a good experience. The free airport shuttle is a plus factor.
- I am a worldtra (8/5): Nice comfortable pension apartment - For about twenty dollars a day includes breakfast comfortable bed, hot shower and clean. I am very satisfied. Plus it is near the main road close to Robinson shopping mall. Also the manager was helpful to arrange tours right away on day one.
- Dan (8/5): yet another stay - Good clean, reasonable for the price
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great staff, weak water flow, brownouts - The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The room is plain -- you get what you pay for. The water flow from the shower is very weak. We also experienced brownouts.
- Dan (8/5): Still Here - keep rebooking as my returning home keeps being delayed another day or two. Worth the value.
- Dan (6/5): Nice little place. - Clean, and great value for the low price. Close to Robinsons Mall and easy access to downtown, free shuttle to airport if needed. Best bacon I have had in Philippines yet.
- Dan (8/5): If on a low budget, great place. - I booked here because of the price but was pleasantly surprised. For the price it is a great value. I also like how its easy access to everywhere. Wifi is typical of anywhere in Philippines, not very reliable, but they do offer, and works ok.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Air con room small bathroom got wifi - I stayed at amerson with a friend for one night. We arrived in the evening from Manila and we picked up by staff despite being half an hour late. The room had air conditioning which was welcoming. It was clean with good wifi and terrace to smoke. No view and bathroom was really small but still good accomodation for money we paid. £16 a night for both.
- Ness (6/5): It's location is very accessible and just enough t - We stayed here just for one night. It's location is very accessible and quiet at the same time. So you will feel relax even though you're in the city. They also serve breakfast which is just enough, a serving of rice, tocino and egg.
- Esther (8/5): good place to stay one night - Clean, comfortable. Served free breakfast and included free shuttle to airport early in the morning, which were important in our decision to book a room here. Overall, good.
- Unsal (10/5): Great super clean place a bit outside the city - This hotel seems to be built relatively recently. It is very clean and employees are very welcoming. Rooms are good size with AC, hot water and Flat TV mounted on the wall. I have nothing to say negative accept the location is not in city center. You need to take a tricycle or multicap jeepney (only 10 peso) for 10 min ride to the hotel which is super easy and jeepneys come very often. However, that might be more difficult after 9-10 pm as jeepneys stop around that time, kind a far for those who like to go bars and like to return their hotel after midnight. Later, I found a great room with Fan and shared CR for only 400 Ps and transferred there as it was rigt in the city centre.
