The room was a great value for the price, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. One of the best parts was the cafe with complimentary food and snacks, which was such a nice touch. - Nina (7/5): Accomodation close to metro and night markets - Indie hotel located in close distance to metro station. Kind and helpful staff. Balcony of our room was nice - if choosing this hotel, I recommend picking this type of room. You can air it out well and balcony has nets which block insects. The location is busy and overwhelming - slots machines, some weird people, questionable stores. The hotel elevator had a sign “no drugs”, which gave of a weird vibe, like why do you have to put it there anyway. Room needs some care - change of the musty shower curtain and a bit thorough bathroom cleaning.

- Sean (10/5): Brilliant hotel, highlighted by it's location and staff! - The location of Cho was incredible, literally a 5 minute walk to the main shopping district of Ximending, which is very helpful for first time visitors to taipei. The staff were also amazing, very attentive and couldn't do enough to help us out. They went out of their way to post a parcel that I had delivered to the hotel but didn't arrive until we left for the UK, constantly keeping communication. The vibe of the place is also in keeping with the location of the hotel and the little extras that they offer such as the Polaroid photo and the jigsaw piece to stick on the wall really adds nice little touches that elevated the stay there. We enjoyed it so much that we booked in again on our return to taipei at the end of our trip. Would definitely recommend!!!

The room and facilities were spotless and having free food and drinks was really great. Also very quiet with comfortable bed and pillows. The room felt a bit small, especially with our big suitcases but that seems quite normal in most hotels in the area. Don't let it put you off, it's really a great place to stay.

Everyone has something that they enjoyed from the snack area at the second floor. Even my 5 year old niece enjoyed the play area. Second, the free laundry facility. This is really good for travelers that are very light packers.

- Esquivel (10/5): - The hotel is very cozy and has lots of free inclusions. The room size is considerably okay, bigger than most Japanese hotel rooms known for being tight. Service is great too. I had my room made up everyday and the staff did a good job turning down my bed. They provide fresh towels daily too. The sweet notes on top would be the cute gift when you sign up as their member. And the cute card package that comes with your keycard. Location-wise, it's smack in the middle of Ximending which makes it a considerable distance from the MRT and the eating/shopping spots. I would book here again! The lighting in the rooms could be improved as it is too dim. They could also include a mini bar floor in the 2nd building where the other rooms are (where my room was) so we don't have to travel all the way to the main hotel building.

- Jessica (9/5): - The location of the hotel is very good, it's close to Ximen station as well as shops and eateries. The free snacks in the common area is such a nice treat! The room is quite small for two people.

- Daniella (9/5): Fijn hotel in gezellige wijk - Fijn hotel in een levendige wijk waar van alles op loopafstand is. Wij moesten onverwacht eerder weg maar werd goed meegedacht en oplossing gevonden. Fijn stevig bed. Leuk Cho café ernaast. En leuk ingericht! Detail maar er is maar 1 lift voor 8 verdiepingen dus soms moet je echt geduld hebben ;)

- Nana (10/5): また利用したいです！ - フロントの方が日本語を喋れるので、中国語ができない私でも安心して滞在できました。西門駅まで3〜4分なのにホテル周りは落ち着いた雰囲気です。洗濯機と乾燥機も自由に使えてとても便利でした。台北に滞在するときはまたこちらを利用したいです！ 窓なしの部屋はエアコンかけっぱなし推奨です。エアコンを切るとシャワー後の湿気がなかなか逃げないです。

- Jasmine (9/5): - Loved our stay at this hotel! Great location with a lively nightlife and lots of shops and food within reasonable distance, station as well. The staff were very friendly and the bathroom was a large size. Great value for the amount of days we stayed.

- Rowena (9/5): I will definitely choose Cho Hotel again. - Unlimited water! Not that I don't like, but the pillow could be a little more softer or fair in size. Its a bit bulky which made my sleep position esp. in the neck very uncomfortable.
