- Heather (2/5): No, just no. - Where to start? Our check in woman was snotty. As we were struggling to wheel our luggage across loose gravel, we realized we weren't offered any assistance. On our last day, we saw cars parked on said gravel, which would've been much easier but we'd been told to park elsewhere. Our rooms weren't in the main house but in a converted stable! It was sparsely furnished and required a space heater. Our bathroom wasn't cleaned during our stay. Avoid.
- Rodolfo (8/5): - The grounds and the main building are so beautiful, like from a movie. I guess the rooms vary significantly. We had one at the stables, which was ok. The radiator didn’t work, but we engaged an electric portable heater and did fine. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was really good. Deniz, our waiter, was so kind. My wife was not feeling well and he brought a fresh peppermint tea. We had to checkout early to catch a flight at Dublin, so we missed breakfast. I hope to be back someday.
- Kamal (10/5): - It was the last option as Dublin was sold out due to a football game. I’m so glad it was our only choice as it turned out to be a spectacular property with beautiful views and fantastic staff.
- Jim (10/5): - The Bellinter was delightful! What a beautiful property! When we arrived, and saw the Mansion and grounds in person, it was even more breathtaking! This is a Palladian Georgian mansion dating back to the mid 1700’s. The staff are wonderful- attentive, kind and affable (thanks so much Ger for your kindness in serving the 3 of us!). This would be the *perfect* wedding venue- it has all the “goodies” a new couple would want to share with their families- lavish, classy, well-appointed…wish we could have spent more time enjoying the grounds (there’s even the old carriage road leading to the mansion if you look for it!)- the rooms were comfortable and well-appointed- we stayed in the historic “stables”- we’ll be back!

- Andrew (4/5): Not great! Don’t know waste your money - Spa changing rooms were filthy. Hotel send us a message telling us if we wanted dinner at the hotel we would have to book, I replied to the message confirming we wanted a booking but was never actioned. Rooms didn’t look at all like the photos, our room was in one of the out buildings away from the hotel, shampoo refill was empty, member of staff walked into our room without even knocking, then didn’t even bother to apologise.

- Mary Ann (6/5): - The Bellinter House and grounds are beautiful. The main lobby, enterance is beautiful as is the dining room. But the diningroom was not well cleaned - dusty, cobwebs all over. Our sleeping room and bathroom were not well cleaned, dusty and cobwebs. There was one mirror in the bedroom but it is too far away from any electrical outlet to be used when drying hair. Breakfast was not great. I am planning a trip back to the area and unfortunately will not stay there again.
- Tom (8/5): - The hotel and surrounding areas are beautiful and well-maintained. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and tidy. We had dinner in the "informal" restaurant and the quality and prices were as expected (not cheap, but didn't feel overpriced). Breakfast could have been better, but it might have been bad timing since it's a buffet so it will depend on when it gets restocked. Our room was a good size, the bed was huge and comfortable. The only downside was it was very hot, and it was hard to cool it down since there was no air conditioning and the windows couldn't be opened more than a few inches. Fans were provided, but I imagine this is only a problem for a few weeks of the year. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and steam room, but it would have been nice to have had a swimming pool as well.

- Maureen (10/5): Luxury Personified - This hotel ticks all the boxes, beautiful setting, lots to explore both inside and out! Stayed in the brand new Boyne view suites! Luxury personified. Five star accommodation with your own outdoor space. Relaxing in your personal hot tub overlooking the forest maybe gives it an extra star!

- Matthew (8/5): - We stayed for two nights in “The Ruins” at Bellinter house. First, the drive into the property was exceptional, the grounds are gorgeous and the house itself has that WOW factor upon first sight. We were greeted graciously and were informed about breakfast in the morning. We were pretty tired from the road so we found our room and didn’t explore much. The next morning we had an Irish breakfast and went for a walk around the property. Very relaxing and charming. The Irish countryside is beautiful! Dinner at Preston’s on site was pretty great, the “hot stone filet” was incredible. I’ve never had a steak presented like that before. Very unique and delicious. I gave this hotel four stars because of a few minor things. First, being out in the country and next to a working farm, there were flies in our room, and flies in the restaurant. Next, noise insulation… or lack thereof. As stated above, we stayed in The Ruins which is detached from the main building. The people above us had kids that were running up and down the steel steps at 6:30 am non stop. As we were on vacation, we don’t get up as early as we do at home… this almost led me to ask for a different room. It’s an old, old building and I’m not sure what could be done. We would definitely stay here again, knowing what we know I would ask for a room in the main house. The staff were excellent, nothing was a deal breaker… we’re pretty low maintenance except when it comes to restful sleep.

- Ann (8/5): - I booked a family room for my adult son and I . I was allocated a double room on arrival for my nieces wedding !! I eventually got it but we had to wait around and buy drinks . We then at to rush and get ready for the wedding which rather spoiled our day . This was on Monday 28 July

- Janet (10/5): - ⭐️ Prepare to live like a Lord & Lady in this posh, beautiful, spacious manor house! One night is not enough. Spa, massage & hot tub available- book ahead. A magnificent 18th-century Georgian house, located in the heart of the Boyne Valley, less than 5 minutes from the M3 and under 30 minutes from Dublin City center and Dublin airport.
- Yvonne (8/5): A wonderful country house - This is a lovely historic property with amazing grounds, a wonderful breakfast, accommodating staff, and lovely amenities like the spa and bathrobes in the rooms. Be careful when booking you room, however, that you get what you want... I did not realize until I got there that I would not be getting a room in the main building or the brick ones attached to it, but instead a room in the stables. These should be ok in theory. But for some reason, I was plagued by flies all night. I don't know how they were getting into the room.

- Steven (8/5): Recommended - I had a lovely 5-day stay. The food was good except for the burger. The room was quiet and comfortable with an excellent shower. I had a full massage which was very nice.
- Paddy (10/5): Just go for it! - We will be back! Staff were 10/10, really made our trip special - It’s the small details with this place. You can tell the staff are happy working here :) Although the spa is relatively small (at the moment), it was perfect and not too crowded. We had the sauna and steam room to ourselves during our stay, and the jacuzzi for the morning sunrise all to ourselves. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing too.

- Steve (10/5): Royal treatment for a great price - It is a no brainer to stay at this gorgeous Hotel in the country. We stayed in the Ruins building off to the side of the main building, large room, very comfy, with stunning grounds. The dinner and breakfast were awesome and staff exceptional. It was like staying in Downton Abbey, not that we have, but it felt like it!

The grounds were breathtaking and beautifully maintained. The front desk staff went above and beyond, even arranging an early breakfast for us before our flight the next morning. Everyone was incredibly helpful and courteous. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and full of charm. We especially loved the cozy, inviting bar area—perfect for unwinding in the evening. We would absolutely love to return and spend more time here. Highly recommended!

- Kim (10/5): - I have stayed here a number of times and it just gets better. Comfortable room, great atmosphere and food in the bar/drawing room and Judith looked after me incredibly well. I had a guest in for dinner, she made sure we had a good table and were well looked after and then was on hand at breakfast as I left before breakfast was due to start, and I had a delicious breakfast. I was even given a take away Cappucinno!!

- Sarah (10/5): - This was a lovely hotel. The staff were lovely and showed me to my room. I couldn’t get the tv working on the first night but it was sorted for me the following day. Felt like a real treat, staying there, and it wasn’t overpriced.
- Leona (8/5): Hot hot hot - We stayed in an upstairs stable room, the room was lovely, beautifully decorated and the bathroom was fab, shower was very powerful and a nice deep freestanding bath. Only complaint was the unbearable heat of the room. Every radiator was scalding hot and there didnt seem to be any way to turn them down or off. The light switch panels also didnt seem to do much, took a lot of button pressing just to get the lights to turn off.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff at Bellinter were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely, and very warm. Great feel to the hotel and the sauna/steamroom is a lovely addition. We were there for an anniversary and they made our stay feel very special! The only negative would be the walls are quite thin so we were woken up by guests at 3am for quite some time. Would definitely come back to stay here again.

- Jessica (10/5): - This property is magical! From the moment we drove up, we were in awe! We love the property’s Hailey and everything it has to offer. My husband and I had dinner at Preston’s and WOOOOOW!!!!! The steak was by far the best I’ve ever had, and I am a foodie! Everything was cooked to perfection! We also went to the spa, and it was the best and much needed r&r my husband and I could ask for! I can’t wait for us to return.
- Matthew (4/5): - If you like shabby chic, you will not care for this property, as they forgot the chic. I get what they are trying to go for, but they missed the mark entirely. The room was filthy (cobwebs, accumulated dust, spiders with actuve webs, stain splatters on wall, mold on ceiling, etc..) and the overall condition was just shabby and run down. We did find the staff to be nice and we did have a good dinner from the bar menu. I would not stay here again.

- Kim (6/5): - No doubt a beautiful place, and the staff are friendly. Sadly it is in need of some TLC. The rooms are dilapidated, and a bit grotty. The shower was broken, the room had a scent of wet dog. There was no kettle, I made a tea using the coffee machine which was a bit of a faff. The dinner was sadly below average as well. I wouldn’t normally feel the need to give feedback on hotels, however I feel it is necessary to warn people that this is not a 4* hotel as listed.

- Richard (10/5): Beautiful house, stunning location - Beautiful house in stunning Surroundings. My room in particular was in the West Wing and had beautiful features such as Oak beams in the ceiling but these were blended with technology such as the light switches meaning at the touch of a button you could turn off all the lights in the room courtesy light in the bathroom and the most amazing shower ever it was so powerful and warm! Breakfast was amazing and served in the basement which had stunning features and made for a pleasurable dining experience

- Christian (10/5): - Ger, our hostess, was an absolute professional. Her service in particular and the overall experience in general at Bellinter was top shelf. The property is tastefully decorated, and it and the grounds were truly a delight.
- John (8/5): - We stayed one night. The room was comfortable and good sized. This seemed like to kind of place one might want to spend more time at to get more of the ambience of the country estate. The restaurant was in the basement and not very busy. Service was slow the night we ate there, because there was a group dining in one of the function rooms.
- Carlos (6/5): - Is a beautiful hotel but as soon as we pulled in noone was there to receive you or direct you to where to go or park. We walked up the stairs with our luggage to find out we were not staying on that building. The lady did our check in and didnt even offer anyone to bring our luggages down again because we were staying in another building ( we have in our party 2 people with health problem not able to go up and down the stairs with heavy luggages). Then find out that 2 rooms were also in a second floor with more stairs to carry heavy luggages. During the night, we met another employee Collin, he was very attentive and helpful, give us great information and make sure we had a great experience.

- Christopher (10/5): Wonderful place - We had an amazing time at Bellinter House. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the food was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was beautiful and picturesque. I will stay there again.
- Kris (4/5): Poor Experience - Front desk was short and unhelpful upon check in. Afterwards asking if we wanted to make a dinner reservation. We did, she wrote it down, and when we arrived for our meal, the restaurant was almost empty with every table having a “reserved” sign. There were only a couple actual dinner tables with chairs, the rest of the seating was couches with low tables. We went to ask the front desk if we were in the correct location (as there was no wait staff in the restaurant and multiple dining rooms). She said “she forgot to book our time” and just to go find a seat. We chose one of the actual dinner tables, as eating a meal on a couch is not ideal. After waiting for 15 minutes for wait staff to greet us, they then told us we had to move and go sit on a couch as another “customer requested the specific table” we had chosen. The music in the bar sounded as if it was being controlled by a monkey, as it would change volume, songs, and genres of music intermittently. Our meal was almost an hour, and during that time no specific customer arrived for the “special requested table”.Due to all this, we did not feel welcome to stay and enjoy a drink or two during our final night in Dublin. The rooms are cavernous and you are unable to hear other rooms, but all movement and banging in the hallways travels through the paper thin doors. Based on previous reviews and price, we expected substantially better service and amenities than what was actually provided.
- Jean-Luc (10/5): Beautiful country estate - Wonderful old mansion, very well appointed with the added modern twist of some updated works of art, which are quite pleasing to the eye. The room was fantastic with very high ceiling, and very comfortable bed.

- Monica (6/5): Has great potential - We had a nice time in Belinteer House Hotel, the food and staff were both good. The hotel could do with a good clean especially of cobwebs and flies that are in several areas. It is really a wedding venue as breakfasts were segregated between wedding and other hotel guests. The dinner Saturday night was pretty good. The original rooms we were given in the Stables smelled musty and cold, the window wouldnt lock however our concerns were dealt with professionally and we were moved immediately and given a free drink for our trouble. It really has potential and is a lovely looking house in a great setting.
