Peter Decker (8/5): - Handy to beach and restaurants, friendly staff and 602 had good ocean views. Hard to contact prior to checking in but check in went well. No on-demand or subscribed TV. No coffee but plenty of tea options.
Alan (4/5): Very disappointed with this property, not clean. - Was close to Pacific Fair shopping centre. Shower was dirty with mould. Stove had built up dirt on it. Had to go down to reception to get wi fi password. Bed was hard king size made up of two half’s that were different heights. Floor was dirty. No curtain on ranch sliders from lounge to balcony. When we asked reception about the problems the answer was we have told the owner about these problems before.

Room was great, plenty of room to wind down after a full day/night at Blues on Broadbeach. Great location ready access to venues, shops etc. We will be back. The lift is slow, but you soon make allowances for it.

Needs some work to make it nice again as it’s obvious the care for the properties - Great location right by the beach and playground and a carpark. Run down room, floors weren’t clean, kitchen cupboards broken, tv in bedroom didn’t work, we had tiled floors and overall not a relaxing apartment. Sauna didn’t work either.

Conan (1/5): Avoid at all costs! - Warning! I’m extremely disappointed with our recent stay. 6 days after checking out, we were charged an additional $200 for allegedly using an extra room that we did not access at any point during our stay. What made the situation worse was the hotel’s manager response when we disputed the charge (Kelly). They provided staged photos of a messy room that we never entered as “evidence” which we have attached to the review. Very dishonest and unprofessional. We made every effort to resolve this fairly, but the lack of transparency and accountability from the hotel was frustrating. Being charged for something we didn’t use, and then having fake evidence presented, has completely eroded our trust. To make matters worse, was that we were staying in a room with no working fan and lights that we were not compensated for either. I would strongly caution others to carefully review their bill and be aware of extra charges. Unfortunately, this experience has left a very negative impression, and I would not choose to stay here again. Avoid at all costs!

Budget grade coffee and tea only, no biscuits. For the cost of the room, we would expect better amenities as standard.

Cook (6/5): When you have to get out of the spa and then get into the big pool to trick yourself to stop freezin - The location was the best part about the place. The size of the apartment was also good. I would’ve liked to have had access to the second room though just to know what was behind the locked door. The swimming facilities should not be part of your advertising as it is very misleading. The spa on the roof was not operational and the spa on the ground was used in order to at least make the pool feel warm because that was freezing too. It was like the heat provided from the sun is what made the water feel lukewarm. That was very disappointing and I know I wasn’t the only guest that felt this way as it was discussed and confirmed with other people staying there. For five days there was one little mixed shampoo and conditioner, two little body soaps, one little milk, three little satchels of coffee and four little satchels of sugar whereas there were heaps of teabags. That just didn’t make sense.

As this was on the ground floor I was not comfortable with this. The guy at reception tried to fix it which he couldn't. He moved us to the unit on the floor above and the same door lock did not work again, it did have the latch on the floor , felt better as it was not on the ground floor- these faults need to be fixed.. Unit was older and a little dated but was comfortable with plenty of space.

Joshua (3/5): Not worth the money, broken facilities and made it a dangerous stay. - Location The front door was broken, couldn’t get through the front door at to walk around through the garage, much longer walk and dangerous. When I couldn’t get through the front door they didn’t answer the buzzer or it wasn’t working was stuck outside for 20 minutes.

Our apartment was well equipped, neat and tidy. Was a great place to stay for a longer period of time. The pool/ spa facility was great and well enjoyed Our TV remote never worked so we had no TV in lounge room, second bedroom light didn’t work, main shower had poor pressure whilst the second shower had great pressure, the shower head continually moved upwards resulting in water up & over the shower. The reception area was always closed. These were all small things we could make work, but just wanting to note for future bookings. Could use a vacuum upgrade, we tried to maintain cleaning but it wasn’t the best vacuum

In walking distance to Pacific Fair, public transport, the beach, shopping, food etc. The pool was heated and quite deep. There is a spa attached to the pool, plus a spa and roof area with a bbq. Lovely view of the beach from the balcony. Very peaceful and quiet at night. It has a washing machine and dryer plus a drying rack which was great on the balcony. The beds were comfy, as was the couch. We enjoyed staying here. The bedrooms got really hot as there was only air conditioning in the lounge.

Robyn (4/5): - Location. Layout - 2 beds. Full kitchen. Parking. Laundry. Cupboards. Cleanliness and maintenance could be improved- lounge, carpet and showers especially. Photos over sold it. Airer was broken, door in bathroom didn’t shut, kitchen cupboards broken, no main light in one bedroom, no fan controller in the other, very basic cooking items. Outdoor setting didn’t really fit properly.

Had a view of the units from my window on sth side. Kept windows and blind closed Obviously some domestic violence could hear arguments into early hours of morning Police arrived next day. Hopefully this will not continue for all involved.

Probably not - Location The room was a bit tired the veranda was very tired needed cleaning and some TLC the outdoor furniture was not very good a small table with 2 random plastic chairs on a very large veranda and the guy on the reception needs to learn some customer service .

Hester (8/5): Aside from what was missing it was a great stay overall - Great location, huge space, great for families. Warm sun beaming in the rooms in the morning which made it super nice and warm. Didn’t like that there isn’t wheel chair/pushchair access to the reception. Only stairs. Be nice to be supplied face cloths. Wish we had proper duvets instead of polyester blankets as it’s cold during winter time and thin blankets aren’t efficient. The tvs didn’t really work well.

Seanine (5/5): Good things but also, not so great too - Location was really good. Right near the park, surf club and beach. Heated pool and Sauna is good for winter. Plenty of kitchen items to use. Car park space and entry and exit easy to use. The shower was really good with excellent pressure. Plenty of toilet paper, tea coffee and sugars. Laundry was all in good working order. The Lady at front desk didn't know why I had a child on my booking given the type of room. There was meant to be a sofa and that should have been made up with a spare towel. Turns out to be a normal couch and no extra towel. So he wasn't catered for even though I paid extra for him. They need to match things up with the booking system information. He had to sleep on the couch for 5 nights and he is 17 and tall. The kettle was broken and shorted out the whole unit. We had to use a pot to boil water for tea and coffees. I tried to talk to staff but Noone sits at the front desk. There is a number to call. The lady was polite when we she was sitting there though on the first day. Top level was closed to maintenance and we were looking forward to using the rooftop spa. The room was generally clean but not cleaned properly in some spots from previous tenants. There was a splash of tooth paste on the bathroom tiles and smoke butt's on the balcony. I didn't like the bed as it was two beds stuck together so we couldn't cuddle. That's not good in winter when there wasn't enough blankets as well. Make sure you check with hotel about the room set up before going.

Donna (9/5): Great lifestyle stay - The location was perfect, loved the friendly birds in the trees next to us, cafe next door for morning coffee and the lovely art deco decor of the building. Would stay again. Good lifestyle, walked to most locations and taxi was easy. Went to the Beach everyday, was a very short walk. Our sofa was too low for my husband and alittle dirty. The shower units need mold spray cleaning and ceilings are alittle low for me in the bathrooms. . The TV needs a new battery in remote for volume or off/on but that was our last day.
