• jaspal (7/5): Kids liked it. - I liked the location as its the lake shore. Reception was attentive. Parking was right close to room. Room was equipped with tv with wifi. Kids like watching youtube and netflix. Room was having small fridge and a coffee machine. Bathroom was clean and updated with modern facilities. Need improvement on sound proofing as we were getting noice from guest above our room in middle of night. Room should have microwave as with kids one need to warm up their food.

We told the staff but they don’t care too much! The lady said “ I will tell the manager” that’s it! And the sheets wast not very good cleaning!

• Tanya (10/5): Great location - We appreciated this hotel's location right by the lake and walking path and just right in the heart of the village to shop and eat at the restaurants. Our view was of the parking lot, and not of the lake. I thought when I had made the reservation that we would have that option. But we were there for only one evening, so it was not really a big deal. It was still a lovely time there.

• Karen (10/5): Coming back! - Location was perfect. In fact since we were coming back to Waterton in a couple of days, we canceled the reservation from another hotel and rebooked at Bayshore. Fabulous view. Very clean. comfortable beds. Good bathroom. Great balcony overlooking the lake.

Loved sitting on the deck/chairs. Quiet room. Very nice. Close to everything. Parking was tight, especially under the building. VERY, VERY tight! Lots filled up fast!

• Tricia (10/5): - Bayshore closed down so we ended up staying at their sister hotel Glacier Suites. It was clean, bright, newly renovated, great service and we had an excellent stay. I would recommend it.
• Andrea (6/5): Would not come back - The room was close to the lake but then most of the hotels are in Waterton. It was clean. The value gets the lowest score. We’ve paid a lot of money for this room and couldn’t believe how outdated and small it was. We had many other rooms on our trip that were better and for considerable less. We needed an elastic on check-in for something and the girl had to ask the manager. He was very grumpy about it. The manager is rude and not friendly at all.

• Kristine (6/5): - Unfortunately the staff gave us incorrect information twice and seemed very uncaring. They told us the boat to Crypt Lake Trail had stopped running, and that changed our plans completely. The boat was still running for three more days. The staff also told us that almost everything was shut down when in fact, it was not. It seems as if they were ready for the season to be over and it actually wasn’t. I’m advising that when giving out information please make sure it is correct and take care of guests until the last day. The trip is special to them despite the time of season.

• Kelly (2/5): - It’s a motel, not a resort / spa. The price does not match what you get. The room had nice furnishings. But we were placed next to the staff laundry room. It was so noisy in the morning. The machine gave the room a nice 72 decibel droning sound. Actually have a headache from staying here. Also apparently the town shuts down the last weekend of September. Bring a kite. It’s windy AF!
• Don (10/5): - A great location right in the centre of the village with easy access to restaurants. Steps from Waterton Lake and right beside the Peace monument. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds comfortable.
• 616jackh (6/5): NOT A FIVE STAR HOTEL - Great location! We are Seniors & booked a Lakeview Room with 2 Queens for a 3 night stay! We were comfortable! The room is at best a 3 star! The Bathroom has been completely renovated and was great! Average cleanliness. There is no room service (possibly all hotels are doing this, since Covid). We paid 0ver $600 a night with tax! Plastic glasses, paper cups & no room service! We had to hunt down the staff for clean towels, toilet tissue & extra coffees or ask for more at the front desk! We did enjoy our stay, but expected more luxury for the $ we paid!
• Cynthia (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay here. The property is an older one, as are all of the hotels in Waterton Park, but that makes it charming and this one has had some recent upgrades. Jeremy was extremely helpful in fixing a booking mistake i'd made. I'm forever grateful. We loved walking up to the Prince of Wales hotel for afternoon high tea and so many restaurants were in walking distance. Great stay!
• don (4/5): - At $500.00 per night, way over priced. Comparable to a Super 8 motel. Good location and dining but room itself very average. $200.00 to $250.00 would be much closer to value!
• Sherri (10/5): - Loved the Bayshore Inn and Spa. The location was perfect.... with amazing views of the lake and mountains. It was just a few steps away from all the restaurants and shops in Waterton... and the beds were very comfortable after a long day of hiking in the Park. I would stay here again and highly recommend the Bayshore!
• Johanna (4/5): Spend your money somewhere else. - After visiting the spa and restaurant on a previous occasion we decided to book an overnight stay at the Bayshore Inn. What a huge disappointment! The room smelled musty, the room is small ,the bathroom had hardly any space to put your personal belongings,the bathtub caulking was mouldy and the tub was super slippery. There was a patio with 2 super uncomfortable chairs and no table to put your mug on.

• dale (4/5): - We stayed in room 114. It was claimed to be a Romantic suite. The bed was worn down like a bad stretch of hiway, and pillows were terrible. The entrance and balcony doors both had gaps in the bottoms. Rain water run-off was coming in under the front door. The toilet was a mish-mash of pieces and had no seat lid. All this made it very difficult to have a romantic weekend.
• Cindy (6/5): Nice location but over priced for what you get. - The rooms were typical hotel rooms, nothing fancy. The location was excellent, parking was good. Check in was great, we arrived early and we were able to checkin (paperwork and payment). We had to come back to get the keys at 4 but that was ok. We were able to park and enjoy the afternoon before getting our keys. The waiter at the restaurant was excellent! The price was extereme. 3 x what you would normally pay in a city. We expected twice becuase of the amazing location but 3 times was a bit much. There were no extras other than location to justify the price. The meal at the restaurant was nothing special. We only had breakfast and none of our eggs were cooked the way they were ordered.

• Troy (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay in Waterton. We had a lakeview room, quiet, serene. The patio overlooking the lake side was exactly what we were looking for. We didn't make it to the restaurant so can't review the dining portion. Would definitely stay here again.
• Janny (7/5): Te duur en houding manager bij incheck weerhoudt mij voor een vlg bezoek - Géén ontbijt inbegrepen!! Slecht gevoel hier door houding bij inchecken!! Veel te duur, maar prima locatie. Veel betalen voor een prachtig uitzicht op meer en haven, maar uitzicht was belemmerd door bomen.

The screen for the balcony had a tear on it and mosquitos got in. The room was clean and the location was great, but a bit out dated for the price. No pool usually went the price is 500.00 something a night there is a pool and hot tub on the property.

• Roman (7/5): - The hotel is located in a good location. There was no soap and shower gel in the bathroom. There was also a coffee maker, but there was no outlet in the place where it was located, so you had to carry it around and there was no coffee, only tea.

Noise traveled from upstairs into our room. Could hear children running. Would have liked glassware instead of paper cups for my morning coffee. I was hoping the inside of the rooms would match the outside of the hotel. It was a bit generic inside.

• Robert (9/5): Excellent location and very nice rooms. - Beautiful view of the lake from balcony. Breakfast wasn't included but you did receive a 10% off breakfast at the restaurant next door.
• Jocelyn (8/5): - The rooms have been renovated and are large enough to spend time in without feeling cramped. The decks are lovely from a view perspective. The chairs were not comfortable to sit in and could use a refresh. The site this hotel is on is prime real estate with views of the lake and open balcony or decks for enjoying the view. The marina is right beside the hotel so tours on the lake are easy to walk to. The town site is lovely and this hotel begins at one end of the walkable Main Street. We had an amazing dinner at the Chop House restaurant, daily coffee and breakfast at obe of the restaurants on the Main Street and shopped all around the town as it’s walking distance even for my husband recovering from a knee replacement. Loved Waterton Lakes for the boat tours, the many walking paths and hiking routes and High Tea at the Prince of Whales hotel. We highly recommend a visit to this area and would stay again at the Bayshore Inn
• Janet (8/5): Pleasent Stay in National Park - Stayed for one night. Check in was quick and easy. Stayed on 2nd floor with a lake view room (note there are mature trees between the hotel and lake so in Summer you don't see much of a view from the balcony). Beds were comfortable, air conditioner was loud. Bathroom and shower were lovely, but no fan in the bathroom. Parking lot was full, luckily most cars parked within the lines. Only one ice machine next to the lobby.
• Mike (10/5): Lovely by the Lake - Room was elegantly spartan. The nicest shower ever and the staff totally accommodating. Would love to stay here again.
• GUANGLIN (2/5): - This so-called “resort” has nothing family-friendly about it. Traveling with our child under 2, we asked to check in just 1.5 hours early on a hot day so the baby could rest — the front desk coldly refused. Our baby had to sleep on the lobby sofa while staff hid in the back chatting. At this hotel, “family-friendly” is just an empty slogan. Parents, don’t expect any care or consideration here.

• Peter (4/5): Dissappointed - over priced. - Very poor value for the price. Bathroom drains very slow, looks like an old strip motel where they changed the name and tripled the price. Stayed next night at Priclnce of Wales for half the price. Great restaraunt and pub but hotel was way over priced.

• Tanya (10/5): Great Location - I booked this on-line so I wasn't sure what to expect. The Bayshore Inn was great, it has an amazing location. You can park and walk to everything. Also the views from our back porch were amazing.

It's what $150/night should get you pre covid.I don't mind spending money if it's worth it. There is no value in this place. No pool. No frills. So I guess the only thing you are paying for is the view. It's a nice view.

It had a strong and reliable wifi connection, badly needed when my data service was down in this area. Our overall experience was wonderful. We will definitely come back.

• Cindy (6/5): - This property is a great location right in the centre of Waterton village and on the lakeshore. However, the bathroom always smelled like urine. The shower pressure is almost non existent at times. They say they check in every day to see if you need anything but you have to call for toilet paper every day. I don’t need my sheets changed or bed made every day, no do I need new towels every day, but when we are staying 5 days, I do expect minimal service that I don’t have to keep calling for. Price is expensive for what you receive. Beds are comfortable and view from the balcony we had was great (other rooms have trees blocking a good view).

• John (8/5): A Good Pick for Waterton Village - Room had a very good bathroom that was modern and nicely sized. The shower soap and conditioner was spot on. My wife, who is very picky about hotel bathrooms, was very impressed.

• jonhopkins2018 (10/5): The Bayshore Inn - may be Waterton's finest! - The Bayshore Inn is a nice motel. The rooms were clean and quiet. Lake view rooms have a nice view of Waterton Lake and the surrounding mountains. They have a nice restaurant with good food and views of the lake. All of the motel and dining staff were friendly and helpful. Shops, restaurants, and the marina are very walk-able from the Bayshore. It's a short drive from the Bayshore to the beautiful views and wildlife located in the national park. We were there for 4 nights and saw bears every day!

• Judith (8/5): - The room is very nice - clean, modern, and the bed is comfortable. It's wonderful to sit outside on the deck. The location is great, easy walking, however Waterton is tiny so you're never far from anything. The onsite restaurant is delicious. Waterton is a delightful town to visit for a few days. My only negative is that this hotel is a tour group hub, and there were always two large tour buses in the central courtyard, which made me feel like I was in a Greyhound bus station when I opened my door. Their motors are quite loud when fired up. This may not be an issue for others, but it did take away from my experience a bit, especially for the high price of the room. Besides that, however, it was lovely.

• Cloutier (8/5): Lovely location, great restaurants, and friendly staff. - Lovely location, and very nice to get a discount by being a guest. The quality and taste of breakfast was great, and having the view of the lake made it more memorable. Pillows on the bed were uncomfortable and not very thick. It would have been nice to check in a bit earlier too as checkout is ultimately at 11:00am the next day so for a 1 night stay, it's actually a very short amount of time you have the room.

• Thon (8/5): Great place to stay - Stayed here 3 nights in late June. We had a room overlooking the street and the mountains. While it would have been nice if we had been able to book a room facing the lake, our room was fine. Actually, I’m not sure how much of the lake you’d see on the other side as there were lots of trees blocking the view. We had a small balcony with 2 Adirondack chairs and a table - perfect for sitting outside with a glass of wine after a day of hiking and watching the world go by. The room itself was a good size for 2 people. The bathroom was small and there was really nowhere to hang wet bath towels. The room came with a coffee maker, mini fridge, iron and ironing board. Like almost all hotels since COVID, they do not offer daily housekeeping unless requested which is fine with us as we can make our own beds in the morning and we don’t put out fresh towels at home each day. Getting coffee refill packages from the front desk was easy. Front desk staff were always smiling and helpful. I would recommend this place.
• Kristie (6/5): Overall ok except for a few issues. - Got in late and no parking left, parked out on street. No elevator. We had to enter the upstairs hallway from an outside door that was propped open (we arrived very late at night ) and not within sight from lobby or front desk which did not seem very safe. It’s a small town in the mountains so it was probably ok but felt vulnerable. Room was clean and updated. There was no soap in the bathroom for washing hands.

• Jaewan (5/5): Passable - Location was good Not all the staff were rude — on the first night, July 17, the woman at reception was nice. But on July 18, I went to the reception to ask about a microwave, since there wasn’t one in the room. The staff member on duty looked at me as if she owned the place — but I know she wasn’t the owner, because the owner would never speak like that. She acted as if she was above me, treating me like I was less than her, and serving me with an arrogant attitude, as though she ran the place. It seemed obvious she’d never even left the Waterton area — she was blonde with hair curled like a sheep’s. I had just come on vacation right after my Halo laser treatment, with visible scars on my face, and she clearly judged me by my appearance.
