William (10/5): - To start off, we had first booked a different hotel with similar amenities but closer to our trip I decided to check the reviews. They weren’t good at all so after seeing so many positive reviews for this place and a lower cost for our stay, booked it hoping we wouldn’t regret it. We didn’t. Our flight arrived early in the morning so we were very tired and called the hotel on the off chance they would have a room available early so we could get some rest before an event later that evening. We were so grateful they let us check in at 12:30pm. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The decor feels more upscale and the ambiance is very relaxing and comfortable. When we checked into our room, we were so pleased with the size and the amenities. I loved that they use Dove products in the bathroom. Our room had a kitchenette and full size fridge that even came with a pitcher and some glass food storage. We specifically picked a hotel with continental breakfast included and theirs is awesome. Not a full breakfast buffet but it offered some hot foods as well as yogurt bar, baked goods, cereal, and fruit (not to mention juices, coffee, and tea). All was really tasty and I regularly saw staff refilling empty items and cleaning up. Every single staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Anytime I need a hotel, I will be searching this hotel group, and will recommend anyone else to do the same.

Staybridge Talking Stick in Scottsdale is way nicer and alot cheaper. Not what i expected from a Staybridge Suites property.

Additionally the furniture was stained and uncomfortable. The carpet wasn’t very clean. Bottom of our socks were filthy walking on it. We always enjoyed staying here but the cleanliness has gone downhill. Used towels were out by the pool for two days, so we decided not to use the pool or hot tub as we didn’t know if they were cleaned properly. On the upside, the staff was friendly, especially Samuel.

whimsical_n1 (6/5): Great full kitchen, living area needs work - This hotel is located close to the mall and not far from the highway. The lobby is modern and bright, and the staff is friendly. I felt safe in the area and parking my car in the lot. The room is modern looking, with a full kitchen and island bar set up. There is also a desk with a couch that is supposed to be a pull-out. The couch was the biggest negative of my stay. It was disgusting. The upholstery was coming off in places; it was stained, and there was no bedding to make it into a usable space. The room is advertised as having a pull-out couch, so logically, they would have bedding. The first night, my son went down to the front desk to get bedding and was told that there was none. The second night, I went down, and the staff member took me to the laundry to get bedding for the room. I was not told during check-in that there was no housekeeping during my stay. I later found out that since I arrived on Friday, the room would not be cleaned until my checkout on Sunday. The bathroom was fine, but the counter space for multiple people sharing the room was inadequate. The toilet still had yellow around the back parts, and I am a stickler for cleanliness, and that was a drawback. There were corners of the room where you could tell that there was wear and tear. There was also only one elevator for the entire hotel, so there was a line that was often waiting to use it. Thankfully, the stairs were wide and well-lit, so we were ok using them for the bulk of our stay. The location of the hotel was the biggest draw for me. The full kitchen and refrigerator were definite pluses. The couch and the beds definitely need to be replaced or refreshed.

Verified traveler (10/5): Enjoyed the stay - Rocky start but NOT the hotels fault. Its was a hotels.com issue. The hotel was very accommodating and the 2 nights there were awesome. Awesome beds, awesome breakfast, comfortable rooms, quiet. We went to the lobby for happy hour and had a drink and then grilled our steaks and baked potatoes outside by the pool. The grills were clean and worked great. The 1 bedroom suite was super cute. Big bathroom and having a kitchen our room was super convenient.

I9717QXluiss (4/5): Nope! Don’t stay here. - If it wasn’t for Janet and the breakfast attendant, I’d give this place a 0/5. Janet was amazing at check-in and the breakfast attendant was so nice and accommodating. The breakfast options were basic. I stayed about two months ago and the breakfast had much more options. The room has crumbs on the carpet when we had checked in, and the toilet wasn’t cleaned. You can still see the chemicals dry on it. We asked a housekeeper if she can clean it and she said she couldn’t unless her manager told her to. Ok? After check out, we sent an email and voicemail to the General Manager Iris and still haven’t received a response after 2 weeks. Yup! Not staying here again.

Not sure if they recently changed management but everything from their Happy Hour to their staff has been a mess. Might have to find a new place moving forward because my experience this time was very bad.
Shannon (10/5): Spacious and nice area. - Summer in AZ, 100+ outside and the outdoor pool was warm (as expected) not at the hotel’s fault. This is our favorite place to stay in Chandler. Kids/pets friendly, free laundry appliances and breakfast is always good. We’ll continue to come back. (Our shower was cracked and patched, kinda a bummer that it had damage, but appeared to be repaired fine).

Antionne (5/5): Passable - The room was decent The staff were very unprofessional my suite couldn’t be found for whatever reason even though I booked & paid for it a week in advance then my room wasn’t ready I had to wait 1 1/2 after check-in time just to get my key also there was no covers for the pull-out bed I called down to ask for those as they are normally in the room already I was told by the staff I could come down and get them myself didn’t show any compassion i definitely wouldn’t stay here again due to customer service

Elio (7/5): Fine hotel in chandler - Hotel is fine, room are big and the bed is really confortable, a full kitchen is available including a large refrigerator The air conditioning is really noisy when it starts it seems to have a truck in the room!! Breakfast is fine but could be improved a bit.
254riveraj (10/5): Best IHG Hotel!! - Probably the best IHG hotel I’ve stayed at. I would like to thank Dashaun, Jonathan, and Genesis for how amazing they treated my family while staying there. Breakfast was great and Genesis even made sure we had Kosher items for me and my family. It was such a great experience to feel noticed.

Dashawn made some jokes about some tougher issues with international travellers which made the check-in a little easier, every time we had any concerns we could just go down to the front desk and ask and they were more than willing to help us with anything. We didn’t ask for room service the entire time we were there as we are clean people and didn’t really want a bunch people in our room so we’re fine with that but the entire time everybody was more than accommodating. The building is very clean. The breakfasts are very full and hearty with many options to choose from on a daily basis. Every morning we had our breakfast out by the pool Leo (pool guy/maintenance) would come to talk to us and is super friendly. We were international travellers and so we had a hotel changeover from one area of Arizona to the other. They allowed us to stay in there till after 2 o’clock in the afternoon as our check in at the other one was it till later in the day. They even offered to hold our luggage for us. All around Fast, efficient service. We will definitely stay there again should we ever be in the area. Very centrally located with a Walmart blocks away, Olive Garden and many other restaurants, there’s a Wells Fargo bank down the street among many other food options. The hotel is in a really good location to be within walking distance distance to many different amenities to allow yourself flexibility to not have to drive everywhere. The pool Area is handy to hang out in and allows you to bbq meals.
561shaunat (6/5): No service during our stay - Stayed here for my sisters graduation. No service was given for our 5 day stay even after requested TWICE. The older lady with short black hair said it would get cleaned, and it didn’t. My father requested it again with the male at the front desk, once again, nothing since they had left for the day according to him. At check out the young lady offered us points and was nice but the same lady we had requested service with came and interrupted her and tried dismissing my fathers complaint. Our stay would have been fine if it wasn’t for that issue.

Susanne (10/5): Excellent for the price! - We stayed in a suite with a king, bed and bathroom and separate sitting area, kitchen and pull out bed. The king bed was very comfortable. The pillows were nice, and even the sheets were decent! The hotel staff was so incredibly kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast wasn’t bad either! In addition to the normal waffles most hotels like this provide they had really nice eggs and bacon each day. As well as granola fruit and yogurt. We quite enjoyed our stay.

Go547716 (4/5): Avoid, staff is terrible - The only pro I will give this place is that the rooms are spacious and a good size for families. The blinds weren’t big enough to cover the windows. The shower is child size, came up to chest height for me, I’m 5’7”. I guess fortunately my 6’1” husband never got the chance to take a shower. During our stay a lot of unexpected issues arose at the hotel. The TVs went out and the hot water was out for more than 24 hours (before we left, it was definitely out for longer). These are out of the hotel’s control, I totally get that. What’s not out of their control is how they handle it. The hot water went out around 7/8am on our first morning there. We were told the repairs would happen between 10-3. I had to call the front desk at 5pm to get an update. They said up and running by 6pm. At 7pm when I called for an update they said 9pm. At 9pm, it became 10pm. Every time we called we were told it was fixed and they were just waiting on something “to flush the pipes, to dry a component, etc”. At 3:30am the fire alarm went off in the hotel and we went to the first floor to find a pipe had burst and the hallway was flooded. Still no hot water. The lady at the front desk was an entire horrible person about the event. Families coming down with kids and her attitude was “I didn’t do it, go back to bed.” In the morning we were told water would be back at 12pm and that a pipe had burst affecting all hotels on that block. Well given their track record of not providing accurate information we decided to fight for a refund and go to a different hotel. There’s no way a city block issue would be fixed in 4 hours when they couldn’t fix their own issue for the 24 hours before. We eventually found out from talking to other guests that they were not notifying people about any of the issues when they were checking in. And more than that, the water repairs were part of planned maintenance that again they didn’t tell anyone about. The rest of the issues were because the first crew messed it up. The TVs also went out at the same time and we were told it was a Cox outage. But when we chatted with Cox they said there was no outage in our area. Life happens, but how you communicate with paying guests is what sets you apart when that stuff happens. And this staff is NOT prepared. When we asked for management we were told over and over she would be back in the morning. How a manager could leave a hotel in such a state is beyond me. When we finally got the manager in the morning it was not a she and he said he was there all night dealing with the issues. Add it to the list of lies. I don’t even want to think about how disgusting their hands and laundry were with no hot water, a total health issue through and through.
mathewp469 (10/5): Great place! - Nice place you got here. The hotel is pretty clean in all aspects. The breakfast is great as well. Staff was very friendly and greeted me when I would leave and enter the building. Price was a bit steep but it’s the middle of Spring Training(reason we were in Arizona) so it makes sense.

Jeffrey (6/5): - The maids didn’t make up the bed. Single ply toilet paper cheapest I’ve ever seen. Room was nice, bed comfortable, breakfast good. Coffee cup lids did not fit cups and cups were weak. Some simple things to correct to make it a 4 star hotel.
johnhF1714AJ (10/5): Great stay - Great place! Stayed here for Spring Training and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Although the hotel is way older than other hotels, its staff, breakfast, and social make up for it. The hotel is well kept. Next year I’ll be staying here again for sure.

jackiebC5037ZA (6/5): Spring training weekend stay - Pros were a large spacious room. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Kitchenette was great and the location was close to the mall, restaurants etc with plenty of parking. The breakfast was pretty wide ranging for a hotel breakfast but we only ate there once as it didn’t have things we wanted. Negatives for Room 423 were a badly stained mattress on the sofa bed and we had to call for linens, blankets and a pillow for it. My daughter slept on top of the covers because of the stain. There was a crack above the bedroom door and the desk lamp in the bedroom was broken. Outlets were minimal and the only usb was on the tv.Room seemed dated for its age.
jasonlH7069CU (10/5): Visiting Friends - Was in Chandler to visit my friends. Not only was I impressed with my room, but so were my friends. Great place to stay at if you're coming to town. There's also a evening social that was an amazing bonus to my stay! Next time I'm in town I will most definitely be staying here.
