- MMPJMH (10/5): BACK AGAIN -- BECAUSE IT'S THAT GOOD...!!! - Who knows how many times we’ve been back here, it’s been our go-to stop since we started crossing the country twice a year in that blessing called retirement more than 10 years ago. If you love TownePlace, you will love this one. It’s long been the No. 1-rated hotel in all of Rock Springs. Clean as a whistle, both the laundry and fitness room (free weights and a scale). Great big indoor pool. Plenty of lighted parking. We had a 2-Bedroom (Queens)/2-Bath (both with tubs) Suite with screened windows that open for a breeze. And they are massive windows, all the better for watching the trains go by — on both sides of the hotel, yet far enough away you are not disturbed just plain entranced . And breakfast was varied and delicious: scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits/gravy, yogurts, breads/bagels. Thanks again to GM Shannon for treating us like Bonvoy VIPs. Catch you again on the return trip.

- Q6610FEthomasc (8/5): Great hotel for a short stay - We stayed one night when driving from Denver to Mount Rushmore. The room was large with a full kitchen including fridge, microwave and stove top. The bathroom was a good size as was the bedroom area. You could easily work from the room with a full desk area. Check in was easy and Diane who checked us in was friendly. The hotel does include breakfast but we didn’t get downstairs in time as only served until 9am. Great hotel for a very short stay!

Close to restaurants. Overall a good stay either as you are traveling thru or spending a few days in Cheyenne.

- scottbP7578US (10/5): One of the best stays ever - I don't know where to start. We almost always travel with our Weimaraner and this is listed as a a dog friendly hotel. That is an understatement! Greta was greeted by all the staff as if she was a VIP. Check-in was so smooth and we were settled into our room quickly. The room had everything we needed-refrigerator/microwave/dishes/dishwasher. The hotel iteslf was close to everything we were interested in. I have to say the staff was so wonderfully accomodating, friendly and professional. Breakfast was good-they kept the buffet line stocked well. An after stay caveat-when we checked out of the hotel I had inadvertently dropped a set of LG Tone headsets on the floor and wasn't aware of it. I thought I had packed them in my computor case. Upon arriving home, I realized they weren't where I thought they were. I called the hotel and they told me they had found them. They were amazing in helping accomodate the return. Also the honesty of the staff that the cleaning crew turned them in. It wasn't the first time I had left a headset in a room, the last being 3 years ago. That set was never found. This time it was a happy ending. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the Cheyenne area. I highly recommend it.

- NauticalNewporter (10/5): Your New Home in Wyo Awaits! - This was our second time staying at this location while in Cheyenne! Every time we come we always have a great experience. On this most recent trip, we kept finding these silly, small insects. Tosha was amazing! She quickly moved us into a new room that was in the most perfect location! Corner room with not one, but two bedrooms and bathrooms! Tosha was so kind and really made sure that we were comfortable. Our room also had a kitchen complete with all the supplies that we could need: utensils, plates, forks, cookware, etc.! We are already looking forward to our next visit to our Wyo home at TownPlace Suite Cheyenne! Thank you Tosha!

- Karla (2/5): - I’ve never had such a bad experience at a Marriott prior to this! First off, when I arrived to the hotel with my two small children we waited at the lobby for over 30 min with no staff on site. I had to call customer service since no one would pick up the phone or show up to check us in at 9 PM. Even after calling Marriott’s 1800 number no staff would pick up the phone or check us in, I was very frustrated to say the least. Finally after a police officer showed up to the hotel did a staff member appear. The police officer was there looking for a male suspect that had been trying to break into cars outside of the hotel. The area feels very unsafe (they even lock the main doors after 11 PM) There was a lot more that went wrong so I’m definitely steering clear of this hotel in the future.

- JLS102704 (10/5): Good experience - This was our first experience with the brand, and it was a good introduction. Room was clean, spacious, and well appointed. Hotel seems to have been new or newly refurbished. There was a small exercise room that was fine for a short stay and quick workout. Every member of staff that we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Don’t be put off by freight train tracks across the street - we didn’t hear a thing.

Not a good area. Also right hear an air force base. The check in clerk said they have to keep building doors locked at night (even front door- they buzz you in) because sketchy people are wandering in. Did not sound great to hear as a solo female traveler. Would not stay again. There are nicer/ cuter hotels very nearby in the downtown area a couple miles down the road that are in a better and safer area. Hotel room was not clean. Smears of something and dirty on floor, counters, light switches. Yuck.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Hotel - Minor Issues w/ No Follow Through - The room was nice at first glance. Bed was comfortable. As we settled in, the night light on right side of bed was out. A bulb was out in bathroom. The top silverware drawer was dirty, and dirty sheets rolled up in plastic bag in closet. The first morning, we came across an issue w/ coffee maker not working. Upon speaking to front desk. We were assured all would be taken care of. After half of day went by we called front desk. By now we only really wanted another coffee maker. The other issues were minor, and we were ok to leave it be. I told lady to have coffee maker on counter as we had to leave for a few hours. When we returned only a coffee pot was delivered. It wasn’t worth the battle anymore, so we just went to breakfast area each day to get our coffee (3 days). Overall, stay was nice. Friendly staff, but no follow through. We were disappointed in cleanliness of room.

The hotel was quiet. The bathroom and room were clean! Wonderful stay! I would recommend this property and would stay here again!

- Sunny (8/5): Great Place To Stay - Almost everything about this hotel was great. The customer service was outstanding! The front desk staff and cleaning service were so friendly and helpful. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star experience was that our room had a funky smell. We had to brew coffee all night and eventually go buy a candle to mask what ever it was. All in all, great place, would stay again. I probably should have just gone downstairs and asked for a different room but we were tired from a long drive.

- Departure627323 (10/5): Definitely Stay here - We got in late due to driving 5th wheel from Montana. Diana, front desk, was kind and so accommadating. Our room was awesome. I cannot say enough good things about our stay there. I highly recommend. Also is a dog friendly hotel.

- SportsRef-Off (8/5): Once again another good stay - I have written this before about hotel stays so this has become a bit of a cliché staple of mine. One of the best reviews that you can write about a hotel is that “everything went well.” That’s what the hotel wants and that’s what the guest wants. “Mission accomplished.” Oh…but I do have one honorable mention accolade though. I think the name of the front desk manage that checked us in was Diana. She’s is very pleasant and customer friendly. (Smile)
- rsiebel1981 (8/5): Pleasant stay In cheyenne - Had a great stay at this hotel. Nice clean rooms. Property well kept. Minutes from downtown. Easy access to freeways. Staff was very friendly. I did not utilize the daily breakfast. I would recommend this hotel for business or leisure. Only complaint I could say is the train yard across the road is loud and constant 24 hours a day.
- nataliehW203OF (6/5): Non vacuumed room. Also, missing toilet paper holder. No luggage racks. Old furniture. - Room was not vacuumed. There were lots of crumbs on floor and kitchen chairs. No toilet roll holder in one of the bathrooms. Old furniture that was pretty beat up. There were no luggage racks and when calling the front desk, we were told they had none.
- BertramS267 (10/5): Wonderful Hotel - We were upgraded to a suite since they had it available and we had points. It was very nice and spacious. We were able to go shopping and then cook a nice dinner there. Do note that pets are allowed here, and we did find some dog hairs on the floor. They’re very hard to get up. The breakfast was very nice; the staff was helpful and friendly. They have a very nice pool but no hot tub.

Love the location. overall, it was just a great place to stay. I really enjoyed it and will definitely stay again.
