Considerable mould around air conditioning vent and the air con thermostat did not change anything so the room could be too cold. Mattresses were also quite hard for people who aren't used to it. But overall still pretty good value.
• Jubby11 (2/5): Just No. - Only managed to stay 1 night out of 4. Felt dirty and old. We had a pool access room. Our Bed cover had yellow stains on it. The bed was like sleeping on cement. The bathroom was grotty. Just a massive, expensive disappointment. Breakfast was dreadful with hardly any options. Cannot recommend.
• Manjila (8/5): - My fourth time in Phuket. Everything about the hotel is the same. I think maybe the hotel may need some renovations on some furnitures in the room. Hotel food could be better and staffs could be more wellcoming and friendly.
• Freedom56491486663 (10/5): Super clean and very good access - My friend and I stayed in this hotel for 8 days. The hotel is super clean and the staff are friendly and excellent. The room cleaning is excellent and the breakfast is quality. In general, I recommend this hotel to everyone, especially the behavior of the staff and the care is very good.

• Karna (8/5): - Great location. Hotel bit on the older side but still worth the money. Had the pool access room which was great. Only issue was the mattress was very hard to get a good nights sleep. Had to sleep on top of the beddings to make it a bit softer. Might want to invest in new mattresses as this is consistent complain from other reviews. But overall I would stay again. For the location.
• paulojneto (4/5): Poor quality - I choosed a room with pool view and balcony and breakfast. The room it was fair with a nice view from the pool, has all what we need to stay but with a smell of humidity. When I stayed the breakfast wasn’t buffet, only in my last day. Also the restaurant had a strange smell. All the hotel needs an urgent renovation. I saw rats walking around at the garden near the pool. The services are very poor. I don’t recommend this hotel.
• N8644BYnicoler (10/5): Great stay - Me and my boyfriend stayed here and had a lovely experience. The room was nice and extremely clean during our whole stay. Check in was quick and the staff were polite and friendly. The location was the best part for us as it was a three minute walk to the beach and close to the popular areas of Patong (under 10 minute walk) but the area of the hotel was quiet and so we had a good nights sleep. We loved the pool and breakfast had a good selection. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you are looking for a nice clean room in an amazing location for a good price! The only negative I would say is that the bed was very firm but some people would prefer this.

The staff were really friendly and helped with any questions and sorted our transfer back to the airport. Located really close to everything - down the road from Bangla Street and there’s a night market & bike rentals all near to it. The pool was really good and clean. The room I stayed it was so spacious and the bathroom and everything was so clean - I like how they provide you with a free (huge) umbrella for when it rained. Would love to stay here again because everything exceeded my expectations!

• Glenndom (8/5): Worth a stay - Hotel room was comfortable and a nice size. I had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the road to the rear with mountain views. Staff were very good including receptionists and room maids. Very close to the beach, malin plaza for food and otop bars for entertaintment. The pool is small so more for cooling down in rather than swimming. Safety boxes are not in your room but just off of reception which i was wary of but actually worked well. Overall would i stay here again, yes i would.

Located close to beach. Staff is friendly. Breakfast has many options from Thai to western and includes coffee, tea and breads. Will stay here again for sure

• DIDIER (8/5): Hôtel qui serait très agréable sans chinois - L'hôtel est agréable et bien situé: prés de la plage et pas loin du centre ville. Par contre la clientèle est déplorable : des chinois en famille mal élevés, irrespectueux envers les autres clients, sales, aucun savoir vivre : leur linge est étendu avec des fils au balcon des chambres ! on se croirait dans un HLM ! Ce n'est pas de la faute de l'hôtel mais ils ne font pas grand chose pour améliorer le confort des autres clients. Les femmes de ménages sont désagréables et les chambres ne sont pas bien nettoyées. Les autres membres du personnel sont, par contre très agréables et avenants.
• Flood24 (8/5): Great Find - We Will Be Back - We found this gem by mistake. What a great find! We had a connecting room with our kids. Rooms and bathrooms are a great size. The bathroom has a huge separate bath and the shower is a good size as well. Breakfast has a lot of options that changed daily. The pool was very clean and great to swim in. After the check in at the front desk the staff sent me to the assigned room at the 4th floor and my reaction was "WOW". I got a shock due the really big size of the room, the nice, big and comfortable balcony with a great view on the swimmingpool and the really big bathroom including both shower and bathtub facilities. Room cleanless it's also a really big good point of this almost brand new hotel in Patong. I had very relaxing and nice time at the pool area too (I love to swim and the swimmingpool it's sooo nice and big). I can't wait to be back here cdue the real huge value for money of this place.

• Daley_10 (6/5): Tired needs an overhaul - Booked a pool access room, first impression – it smelt of cigarette smoke and requested another immediately which we were given. All outdoor furniture and every pool room outdoor pool bed that had sun beds on their balcony’s with access to the pool appeared to be all in very poor condition bordering on dangerous. I took a photo from Ramaburins website and showed the manager who was very nice and to show him from their own website just what I paid for, lovely pics of mattresses on all sunbeds… then took him around the pool to point out there were no mattresses on any sun loungers and I had asked for a mattress on our pool side outdoor lounger to be told none were out as they only had one available in the whole place and I said I wanted it. The manager was very obliging I said I wanted to see safe sun beds around the pool and I wanted it out on display for guests to use by the next morning. This was done, new sun loungers were provided however the pool access rooms had nothing which is very poor when you pay good money. The presentation outside front entrance needs a major overhaul, to may trees hide the front drive and the R in the name Ramaburin has dropped. Lastly the bed was a killer worst I have ever slept in it was dead hard almost rock like mattress we struggled for 4 nights – would I stay here again – no, go 3 doors down the road to Blue Ocean Resort and Spa hotel much much nicer and more bang for your buck.

No safety box provided inside your room. Bad management. Even though u have made complaint to the hotel management about lost money inside my luggage, they didn’t apologise at all. They even challenged that I had no evidence to proof my money inside my room was stolen. Anyway their attitude was very poor and they ruin my holiday.

• HalaM2704 (8/5): Nice hotel - I stayed in Ramaburin for 8 days - rooms are spacious and well equipped for a 3 stars hotels, hotel provide daily room cleaning, complementary water, tea, coffee which is very nice. Breakfast is good with quiet fair variety. Front desk staff are very helpful and try their best to understand and communicate with you due to language barrier sometime, so google translate is always used :) . As hotel is surrounded with greens area so you can have some visitors from outside as ants, very small leprosy, hotel need to pay more attention. Hotel is very close to market, it is a walking distance where you can find all shops, restaurants,... It is a good location and very convenient

Even though we had the room made up sheets were not changed & often we had to ask for water & toilet paper as it was not left. Breakfast is quite limited nothing other than butter for toast. Bit disappointed as we had expected more. We had asked for a soft bed somehow they took that as we wanted an extra bed when we arrived. Beds are very firm.

• 603jimmym (8/5): Great place to stay close to Patong Beach - My wife and I stayed here for New Years and a couple of days beyond. The hotel was quiet and the staff were helpful. Breakfasts basic but done well. I would recommend this place if you are not a party animal. Pool was clean and so were the bathrooms, showers were great. No gym but really close to a top notch gym that I used daily.

We had choosen Ramaburin to stay for 3 nights..we never even tell them about my special day nor we never even requested any particulars. Though the resort is just small. The room is nice nice,cozy and spacious. One day we swimming at the pool i never knew they will surprise me with a birthday cake. The staff are all friendly and accomodating. That's why i want to thank Ramaburin for making mg bday so memorable..
• Natalie (8/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato x 4 notti ... devo dire per L importo speo ( 18€ a testa ) va più che bene.. le stanze per fortuna sono molto carine e grandi... ma il buffet delle colazioni non è tanto vario, anche se cè da dire che chi si accontenta di un po’ di Joghurt, di brioche e un paio di uova, va più che bene. Del resto il personale è carino e sempre d aiuto, poi la vista sulla piscina merita e cmq l hotel è posizionato in un ottima zona!

• johnniew120 (2/5): Sevice - My experience started right from the front desk with greeting without even a smile and poor language understanding. With two rooms booked I was denied early check in at 10.Am with my 20 months old down with fever and the only answer was our policy does not allow check in before 11.Am. A day after on my return in evening I was called up by front desk in a way as if I work for them and showing me a stain on the bedsheet. I was asked to either clean it my self or pay for the damages as hotel laundry was not able to remove it. I guess no stains are hard enough on white bed sheet to remove if bleached guess which is a common reason for using simple plain white sheet for easy bleachable. However I just cleaned that with the hand wash soap available in the room and could understand that it could probably one of the hotel policy to recover extra money from guest or force selling as souvenir. During whole stay in all the incidents there was no decency or service etiquette from manager, duty manager or who ever was handling behind (those silly front desk attendants who could even barely communicate) to come forward and talk.

• Sandyyap (6/5): To improve on - Saw some reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to book hotel anyway. We booked the room with pool view for 4 nights, able to early check in and late check out, however we were given the corner most room, only able to see about of the pool from side. Check in staff seems not very happy when we tried to check in, face was black and she tried not to speak to us but to her colleague whenever possible. Resort concierge was nice and show us the room while helping us carry our luggage. It can be better if staff show us the hotel breakfast area and some hotel facilities too. Room was satisfactory, no bedroom slippers given , so we have to walk barefoot on the floor every time we came back. Temperature of water in the shower and bathtub changes constantly, even though no one move the temperature gauge. It can be scalding hot to cold in a minute. Got a scare , the first time I dipped my feet into the bathtub, full of scalding hot water. Bathtub drainage was spoil ( I think) difficult to take the plug out. The bathroom basin tap was located too near to the mirror with barely enough space to turn the knob. Bed only has two pillows, no choice of pillows. Not sure where is the light switch for the balcony. Breakfast spread was small, maybe sufficient for a meat eater but for a vegetarian, I struggle to get by the breakfast.

Bell boy and front desk staffs are miserable and not friendly. Front desk staff are not helpful and not knowledgeable about tourist related information. At check out one of the front desk girl accused us about stealing a coffee spoon. I can understand that they are just doing their job to make sure nothing is missing, but why would a tourist steal a spoon? They pay a lot of money to stay per night and they can’t afford a spoon?! Maybe there was only one spoon in the room to start off with? Plus, the cost of a spoon littrely cost next to nothing in Thailand. It’s insulting!!! *Hallways need to have more greens, just look concrete, dark like a car park level, not welcoming. *No safe in room. *Shower head need to be cleaned. Maybe clean it in vinegar to take out the calcium build up as the rain head spray everywhere. Water pressure goes from hot to cold and back even when it is set to warm. *Elevator stink. Carpet need to be removed.

• Colin (8/5): Stay - Hotel was in good condition as you expect from a fairly new hotel, staff are very helpful but the food was not for a European (breakfast ) it was aimed more at the Asian market. I nearly did not book this hotel as it implies it only has a bath but there is a very adequate shower as well. Stayed from 6th to 21st November and rebooked got January 2018
• Chirath (10/5): Very convenient location , nice room and service ! - Spent 5 nights at Ramaburin .. pool view room .. very clean ,, comfortable room and good customer service . Convenient location . Easy access to so many places .. patong beach , Bangla road , Simon Cabaret , Jungceylon Shopping Centre etc . Friendly staff . Breakfast served daily 6.30 am- 10.30 am .. yummyyy!!! I recommend this resort hotel to anybody who is visiting Patong, Phuket .
• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice Hotel close to everything - If you are staying in Patong area this is the place to stay. Near the beach but it will be hard to leave their amazing pool, bar has happu hour abd cocktails are good. Breakfast is ok Terry do fresh ehgs as you wish which I tought was a plus. Close to plenty of food options, good for fun.and for families. We were a couple and choose the pool access room, it was totallu worth it!!

It was almost impossible to arrange anything... including things you would expect to be easy, like ordering room service! *the hotel looks very tired with faded exterior paint, disgusting cracked mats covering the sun lounges and rusted outdoor fittings. The outdoor chairs on our balcony were most uncomfortable as they were missing cushions. None were available on request. This hotel is in serious need of a renovation! *room cleaning is inconsistent.. sometimes they wouldn't clean the balcony, sometimes they wouldn't replace the towels, sometimes they wouldn't replace they drinking water or bathroom soaps. *the breakfast was just terrible!
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great location, central to markets and the beach - This was our first time out of Australia. We went to Patong in Phuket. We had a relaxing holiday despite the humidity. There was a lot to do and see. Learnt that you must barter at the markets or you will pay too much. Tried different food, went to the Siam show in Phuket, a must see, was amazing Lot's of eateries and bars all with great service enjoyable after shopping Quad bike riding, Hubby really enjoyed that. Massages nearly every day Ate a lot of seafood at really good prices Thouroghly enjoyed our room, with the huge bath, air conditioning went 24/7, balcony overlooking the pool area. Lovely sitting out there at night on chairs and table provided Allow extra time when departing as there is a lot of bag checking, far more than in Australia, also ques can be very long. Great flight there and back entertainment available on flight for minimal price, helps to fill in the time We flew direct there and back

Nice and quiet location, away from the craziness, but close enough to get to it if you like. Lots of shopping, restaurants & night markets close by.

• Ching Boon (8/5): Clean hotel. Far from noisy street & near beach. - Good stay. It's located at the end of noisy Patong street. Easy access to shopping & massage area. Near to Hard Rock Cafe. Limited choices for breakfast selection but overall not bad. Bedding is a bit hard for us. Shower water volume is smaller & temperature is not consistent hot/cold.
• Andrew (4/5): Great facility, great location, horrible service - If you want some peace and quiet for rest and relaxation at night, this is a great place. Close enough to the bustling night life but far enough so it's not disturbing. From check in to check out, the two ladies at reception didn't smile once, didn't say anything remotely welcoming, and almost seemed like we were annoying them when asking for towels on the way to the beach. If you don't mind an unfriendly staff, this place is ok, but I wouldn't stay here again simply because of the terrible service.

• callum (8/5): Great location - The resort has a great location as it is easy walking distance to beach, shop's and market's, there is always taxis or tok toks outside the resort which is good. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
• Mike (10/5): Great new hotel - This is a new hotel, very quiet and still central enough for a nice walk to the main areas. Rooms are great, hot and cold tap is design over functionality, you will see what I mean :). Would recommend this hotel and the pool access rooms.

• dean (8/5): “quiet location,but still short walk to markets an - arrived at the ramaburin resort greeted by the porter with a big smile instantly, helping as getting the bags from the van, then for the check in what shocked me was a very different welcome then the happy porter, the lady doing the check in at front reception desk i found to be abrupt and could speak very little english i just checked in and brushed it off that she was having a bad day. however when any of my family or myself pass through front desk we found them to be very unfriendly and unwelcoming except for the porter who always smiles and gives little nod of his head, we found with staff on the front desk to be unapproachable and unable to speak english, so if we needed anything or for any question we would ask the staff in the restaurant who are the completely opposite to front desk, though their english too wasn't great they tried hard, all staff in restaurant are fantastic couldn't ask for better service and for the cleaners cleaning room 1005 and 1006 thank you for the good job everyday. the hotel it self is great we enjoyed our stay , it is a small report but has everything you need , nice modern and well pointed rooms, the pool was great, the hotel was only a very short walk to the beach and short walk to the markets. i would recommend the resort and stay again myself but the hotel could invest in a lot more training and coaching to the staff at the front end of there business at front reception desk. thanks guys at ramaburin restaurant for our hospitality made
• mark (10/5): Amazing place - I have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world and this is great 4-5 star... Staff are friendly food good, just very nice hotel to stay in Phuket.. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

• Karyn (4/5): - Stayed here for 1 week, bed was rock hard, very uncomfortable. Room service took over an hour to turn up, the staff couldn't speak very good English, asked for a glass of ice and had no idea what we were asking.
• Grant (10/5): Slice of Heaven - Paid a little more for the pool access room....so worth it....pool is stunning....room was modern and clean...although at the far end of town the hotel is situated a short walk to the beach and is peaceful at night....not being opposed to walking it was'nt a bother that the entertainment hub was a wee walk...totally enjoyed our stay....staff were helpful and full of smiles....although not a breakfast person myself (included in price), my partner enjoyed what was on offer daily and was more than happy with the service....would reccomend to all....solo, couples, families....well worth the price paid....will be back again!!!!

Breakfast was a little cold closer to finish time but pleasant enough if arriving early.. Booked for one week and got discount on second... Recommended hotel.. Will stay here again...
• Melissa (8/5): Good budget hotel with drawbacks. - The location to this hotel was great. A 3 minute (if that) walk to the beach, and close to many bars and shops. We were on the second floor, with a great balcony that overlooked the pool. The first floor rooms opened directly to the pool, but you could also see directly into them. When we checked in, we wanted two twin beds- which we got- but they were pushed together to make a single bed. When we arranged the furniture to separate the two, you can tell the floor there had not been cleaned for a long, long time. One quick call to housekeeping had that quickly remedied. The downsides- breakfast was adequate. Not amazing. The beds were incredibly hard. And the wifi was terrible. If you could stay connected, it was awfully slow. But more often than not, it was just not working.
• Matthew (8/5): Quiet & new hotel, short stroll to beach and shops - Pleasant modern room, room on 4th floor overlooking pool and with panoramic views of the hills. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Breakfast was in a nice open restaurant and provided a good selection for Asian and European palates. The pool was a welcome feature after a swim at the beach or coming back from a tour, The only negative was the very hard mattress. But that did not not detract from an otherwise very pleasant week.

• Evan (8/5): Get more than what you pay for - Absolutely fantastic hotel price, service, location and amenities. The staff were always friendly and willing to assist - often going out of their way. The loaction is also brilliant with it being away from the hustle and bustle but with a very easy and casual walk to restaurants, the beach and Bangla Road. The pool was very clean and relaxing as well as the bistro having a large selection of nice food. Definitely recommend this place to stay.

• Happy Holidays (10/5): Excellent Choice For a Holiday - Have stayed in similar area before & chose this venue as friends were staying here. Neat, clean & fresh & not as busy as many others. Had a pool access room - no issues at all with mosquitoes etc, but kept doors closed to prevent any problems. Breakfast was adequate, and overall this hotel represents excellent value for money. Easy walking distance to beach, shops, Jungceylon Shopping Centre, restaurants and Otop Market area. This was my 7th holiday in Patong area, and would definitely stay again.
• Tracie (10/5): Wonderful experience - Fantastic place to stay wonderful, friendly, helpful staff who couldn't do enough for you. Excellent value for money and nice quiet location, it was my mums birthday while we were away and the lovely girls at reception gave her a birthday present. Its these sort of things that will make us want to go back there again next time we go to Patong
