• Jonas (6/5): Helt okej. - Bra läge, relativt tyst. Hård säng och känslan av att sitta i en cell i arresten. Inget fönster. Stort kylskåp vänlig personal. Bra tryck i duschen men hela badrummet blir blött.
• Requigley (8/5): Location is a win - Good budget stay, you get what you pay for, we didn’t have windows but as we just needed a base to explore Bangkok this didn’t worry us! Close to Khao San road for nightlife and street food but not noisy - we don’t stay up late! Location very central so good price considering this. They let us check in at 8am which was amazing after a night bus! Felt clean enough and the beds were ok, hard but depends what you like! Bathroom is a wet room but dried fairly quick after showers and the shower head was actually really good, best power we have had from an electric shower! Had a fridge. Occasionally get smells from other rooms, or maybe outside through vent - food, cigarette smoke etc but aircon worked well and seems to clear any smells quickly. Some said hard to find but big sign on upper outside of building - it’s though a sort of arcade with a little cafe.

• marymousy (8/5): cozy it is - Its near the drop off station of bus from Cambodia. It has nearby train station, restaus and mart. Its affordable and has super friendly staff. You can also find near money exchange and travel agencies near the area.
• Simon (10/5): Great Location,Brilliant Service & Early Checkin! - I've stayed here several times now and we keep coming back because the location and the service is so good. Yes, the rooms are a little tired, basic and small but the customer services is always exceptional and the location is brilliant in terms of night life and sight seeing but unlike other hotels in the area the Thai Cozy is very quite at night so you can get a great sleep. We arrived at 06.00am just to drop our bags off due to checkin opening at 14.00 and they let us checkin without any hesitation despite us arriving 8 hours early. This was really appreciated and we will definitely stay here again in the future.
• bradmO8209PG (2/5): Do Not Stay Here - Dishonest And Unsecure - We stayed at the Thai Cozy House for about eight hours while we waited to catch a flight back to Australia because it was cheap and that was all we needed. One of the first things we did was try our room key accidentally in the wrong room - it opened straight away. But luckily, our room next door, also opened with the same key. We decided this could be resolved and just took our valuables with us while we went and hung out in Bangkok. Earlier in the day we organised a taxi to take us to the airport through the "smiling assassins" at the Thai Cozy reception. All was good and the driver turned up on time. However it all went pear-shaped when my friend, who was on crutches, left his wallet in the taxi driver's car, who was mates with the smiling assassins. At the airport, we thought we could try get this wallet back by calling Thai Cozy House and paying the driver some money to come back to the airport. Instead they denied the wallet was in the car. At this point we had to catch our flight. Now we are back in Australia and little do we know there are charges on the credit card, that was in the wallet, from the Thai Cozy House. Problem is we paid cash for everything. Just do yourself a favour and stay at one of the other great Hostels in the area.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Basic hostel kamer. Niet heel veel aan, voor een kort verblijf opzich prima. Badkamer wel erg klein, niet echt aparte douche kabine oid. Verder opzich prima kamer maar nergens echt om kleren te opbergen. Personeel wel heel aardig!
• 999 (8/5): キレイで居心地のいい場所 - 内装などとてもキレイで、居心地の良い場所でした。オーナーの方もみな親切でした。BTSのラチャティウイ駅から歩いて向かいましたが、初めは場所がわからずに苦労しました。大通りから私有地らしき場所へ入るとホステルが見えます。
• yzw200 (6/5): Less Than the Sum of Its Parts - So...Because of a leg injury I needed a guesthouse near the tourist strip with an elevator. Turns out it's not the easiest thing to find. So stayed her for 6 nights: Pros: -Good location: Near the strip but on a side street so pretty quiet -Shower always had hot water -AC worked well -Elevator Negatives: -Wifi is poor. Gave up trying to use it when I had better Skype quality using data -They charge 50baht a day to use a storage locker for valuables. -They clean rooms by request. However when I requested that my room be cleaned (simply asked that the trash be taken out) it was if I'd made a joke. While my first few days there the garbage was taken out, despite repeated requests for my last 3 days it wasn't. It got to the point where I began taking my trash to the lobby garbage. It did the job but moved on once I could.

• phil (2/5): Worst staff ive ever come across - Disgusted with my stay here. Got kicked out our room as my partner had a ballon in the room. Yes a balloon. The kicked us outvat midnight and refused a refund or our key deposit back as it was a fire hazzard. Didnt even explain they were just crazy and aggressive. Ive never witnessed anything so ridiculas and completely uncalled for in all my life. The night reception woman was vile. Horrible horrible person. Totally unprofessional.

• emilypxx (6/5): Nice place - I walked into the accommodation and asked to see a room before I booked, the receptionist was happy to do so and was very friendly. Room was very clean and nice. That night we had some load people next door and the walls are quite thin so I didn’t get much sleep. We went to check out the next morning and told the receptionist about the load noise and they where very apologetic and offers us a upgrade free of charge and moved us to a quieter room. We then stayed another 3 nights at the same rate. Every time we had a question or problem all the receptionists where extremely helpful and they even helped us get taxis when ever we was going anywhere. The hotel is a great location for Koh san road as only about a 2 min walk away. Would recommend this as a basic, good priced place to stay.
• Verified traveler (4/5): 周辺環境も建物なども良いですが、とにかくうるさいです - カオサン周辺の安いゲストハウスにありがちな典型的な狭さの部屋ですが、建物は十分に綺麗でエレベーターもあるので高い階でも問題ないです。しかし部屋の壁が恐ろしく薄いのか隣室の音が聞こえすぎて寝られません。外部の騒音も重なって明け方までうるさいので気になる方はやめたほうがいいでしょう。若いファランや中国人の家族連れの大きな声がずっと聞こえます。 また私がアサインされた部屋は排水が機能してなかったため、シャワーの水が全然流れずにずっと水浸しの中でトイレや歯磨きをする羽目になりました。 良い点としてはWIFI環境は良く速かったこと、またランブトリ通りとの交差点付近に屋台がたくさん出ているので食事には事欠きません。本来はカオサン・ランブトリの一本裏手で静かなことを期待して訪れただけに残念でした。 同じ料金なら別のゲストハウスをお勧めします。
• DanBarrett (6/5): Average hotel, Good Price - Thai Cozy House was all around somewhat decent. Pros: good location, quite cheap, clean rooms, free bottled water Cons: poor WiFi signal, very loud, receptionists only somewhat helpful, rock hard beds Overall the theme of this hotel was, “you get what you pay for.” The walls seemed paper thin and voices and door slams could be heard late into the night and early in the mornings. Room was clean despite not being very comfortable, it also lacked a window. Reception could answer some questions but not all and they weren’t extremely welcoming. Worth staying at if you want somewhere inexpensive with a fairly good location.

Its 5 stories hostel with room for 2/3/4 people. The people in charge are nice and will help you with anything you'd want

Well actually I stayed three nights on Cozy's secret floor. The air con was cold and the party noise from Khao San was two streets away. 7-Elevens all over as well as street vendors frying up local yummies.
• pastat_12 (6/5): Quick start to the trip - My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and we got what we paid for. Basic room, no window, pleasant staff and great location. The room wasn’t cleaned during our trip and we had to ask for new towels and the bathroom was a little grubby. All in all, it was a pit stop stay for us. I can’t complain due to the price and it served its purpose. We didn’t eat there but the staff were friendly and there was a lovely little terrace on the roof with well cared for plants. If you’re after a bargain, then this is your place.
• 53villet (2/5): Bed bugs! - At first I must say that there was a bright side at this hotel. Location is optimal if you are looking for air conditioned studio close to the Khao San Road's night life. Many travellers say this place is noisy but I didn't have any trouble with sleeping, maybe I just had good neighbors. This room was windowless but actually that didn't bother me at all. There was a fridge and a TV in the room. But but but... the very next day I started to feel itching on my skin and I found about 20 bites all over my body. So I can't say anything else but everybody should avoid this place. It's not worth scratching.
• D6270FBlisam (4/5): Noisy and they rent rooms by the hour - My friend and I stayed here for two nights and the noise was unbelievable. Doors slammed and people ran up and down the corridor shouting all night. The volume of people going in and out of the room next door and opposite overnight clearly demonstrated that local prostitutes were using it for their clients. No one was monitoring what was going on. If you were a family bringing children into this place, you’d pack up and leave immediately. Saying that, the room was clean, the bed was rock hard but clean and if I shuffled in sideways, I could close the shower door (shower head virtually over the toilet). Overpriced for what you don’t get.
• 900michaelal (6/5): Just average - This place is fine for a short stay considering how cheap it is and the good location. We stayed one night in a windowless room which meant it was nice and quiet. There's AC in the rooms, there's a lift and the reception is open 24:7 which is handy, but they don't really give you time of day. I just couldn't stand the shower, which was a hose on the wall in the tiny bathroom and you're literally showering over the toilet. Bed was decent. Rooms have fridges. It's average.

Old, not clean and they ask for a 500 baht deposit like I am going to steel the fridge or something - I hate that. Pass through the KSR all the time and I will never be using this place again.

Loads of bars, restaurants and 7/11s around. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean but the wifi was a little slow sometimes.

• angelap693 (6/5): Perfect for sleeping - When you go to Bangkok I don't think your're expecting to spend a lot of time in your hotel. This hotel is perfect for cleaning off the city and having a good night's rest. In the morning get up and get out! The rooms are just fine for sleeping and cleaning up but not much else. But what more could you want? If you get a chance go to the top floor, theres a balcony with a ton of beautiful kept plants that you can tell someone takes good care of. The Thai love plants! The front desk staff are ok, nothing special there either. *Tip* When you go to check in be firm with front desk about rate you paid and what you paid for. Check your room first before settling in. We paid for a room with a window and street view, we didnt get that initially and just about had to demand what we paid for, got it in the end. My friend I traveled with has stayed here before and says this is the best room. We went February 2015
• Matt (8/5): I'd stay here again - Easy to book and check in at short notice, really friendly staff too! Only down side was it can be quite loud with other hotel guests, but for the price I can't complain!
• Verified traveler (2/5): Hotell som vill ha 500 bhat extra för gäst - Jag bokade ett hotellrum för 2 men specificerade ej vilken gäst nr 2 var. Före jag bokade sa han i receptionen att jag fick ta upp en gäst på rummet kostnadsfritt. Men sen på kvällen ändrade personalen sig och sa att de vill ha 500 bhat extra om jag ska ta upp en gäst på rummet. Så blev att jag gav upp och sov ensam istället. Deras regel är att man måste checka in samtidigt. Gör man inte det ja då kräver de 500 bhat extra. Tänk på det ni som bokar och avser ragga upp en tjej på Kosam Road senare på kvällen att ni måste betala hotellet 500 bhat extra. Nästan alla hotell tar extra betalt i det området men då normalt bara 150-200 bhat men detta hotell ville ha 500 bhat extra! Det är ockerpris. Att tillägga är att hotellen i andra områden jag bott hitills inte krävt extra betalt. Det borde upplysas på hotels.com sidan att hotellet kräver 500 bhat extra om man tar upp en gäst efter man checkat in.

Some hotels are good at hiding the fact they are trying to make money from you, unfortunately this one isn't. Staff were very annoying and blunt. Kept ringing the room and waking us up, which is a shame as Thai people are often very nice. Good for one night stays.

The location is AMAZING, the staff is nice and attentive, the only thing is that the rooms are VERY small and lack furniture. But everything was clean and if you're traveling cheap and don't require luxury, this is an adequate hotel. More of a hostel really.

I deliberately booked one with a window and the hotel refused to acknowledge this, telling me I needed to pay more and "what did I expect for my money". Left with a chest infection from lack of fresh air. Not very pleasant staff. Don't even acknowledge you when you come down from your room. Bad wifi that they change the username and password to everyday which is very annoying. Will not return when I come back in a week. On the plus side, it's close to Khaosan Road without all the noise and they have hot showers. If you just want that - book here!
• Josef (6/5): Einfaches Hotel in guter Lage - Ich habe vom 19. bis 21. März zwei Nächte im Thai Cozy House gewohnt, weil ich in der Nähe der Rambuttri Rd. sein wollte. Ich habe das günstige Zimmer gebucht, da ich mich nur zum Schlafen dort aufhalte. Es war relativ sauber (der Boden nicht ganz rein), das Bad schon. Es gab kein Fenster und trotzdem keinen schlechten Geruch, dafür war es sehr kühl und die Aircon leise. Leider funktionierte das Internet nur am Empfang und es gab weder Kasten, noch Kleiderablage. Beim nächsten Mal buche ich die preislich höhere Kategorie.

• Joseph (6/5): Paper thin walls. Very little sleep! - I'm not joking, when you stay here, you stay with the entire floor in your room. Or so it feels anyway. I think the walls only go up as far as the false ceiling and noise travels like nowhere I've ever been. It's crazy. I was woken up by music in the middle of the night. I thought it was coming from next door but it was coming from the other end of the corridor. Every person between us and them was woken and waiting in the corridor for them to turn it down (and it wasn't even that loud!)

• Christina (2/5): Don't stay here - Pros: free wifi, great location and friendly staff Cons: air conditioning only worked when all the lights were on (so you couldn't have it at night), shower drainage was bad so the bathroom was flooded the entire time, bed is incredibly uncomfortable (you can feel every spring dig in your back), smells like mould, cockroaches are very present, etc. I would not stay here again.

Perfect location, two minute walk from khao San road but away from the noise. Air con works well. Rooms are basic but very clean. Worth the online price but over priced if you pay the walk in rate. Better value for money in hostels near by, but perfectly fine to stay in.

• Joanna (8/5): ideal location but perhaps for short stay - I stayed here for one night and chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the Lomrayah ferries office, as my coach arrived at 1am and I didn't want to travel far. It was just around the corner with 24 hour reception and very easy to spot as there is a big neon sign outside. The hotel is ideally situated for Khao San Road and other attractions in the area and was very reasonably priced. There's a lot of good street food just outside and a 7-11. The room itself is quite drab and dated but was very clean and I had a good night's sleep in the comfy bed. As a lone female I felt safe. The "window" opens up to a brick wall but as it was such a short stay this wasn't a problem. There was surprisingly no noise so I had a decent nights sleep with a nice check out time of midday. Good WiFi signal too. The downside for me was the service; the room is usually the key factor for me so I wouldn't say it was bad enough to stop me from returning but they kind of made it seem like I was an annoyance by being there, wanting to check in, asking for Wi-Fi etc. The guy even tried turning me away at first saying they were full despite me saying several times that I'd already booked online - not what I wanted to hear at nearly 2am! Check in was a lengthy and tedious process and you have to hand your keys in every time you go out.
• pedro santiago (2/5): if dont have chance is better sleep in the park - Never ever that place is yhe worst to be and expensive i book there my first day in Bangkok and the morning early i moved to a 4 stars hotel for the same price
• Laura V (10/5): Great place, great location, great service - This place is very close to everything but not in the middle of the noisy Kaosan Rd. Very clean, nice, with a very usufull fridge in the room, great service, they make you feel at home and the price is the best in the Kaosan area.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Good location for tourists, the room was ok, beds were lumpy and the window room is meaningless because it opens to a brick wall two inches away. Seemed in par with the going rate for most hotels In the area.
• BPJ (6/5): Not the best rooms - The front desk staff was friendly and (for 20 Baht) kept our luggage while we explored the surrounding area. The free breakfast was very basic but nice to have. Our biggest disappointment was with the room. While they were fairly clean, the bed and pillows felt like they had never been replaced. There was no top sheet on the bed, only a blanket that I doubt was cleaned anytime in the last few months. Overall, you can likely find a slightly better place for around the same price.
