• Emir (3/5): - L'emplacement n'est pas mal en plein centre d'Asakusa, près de tout. Les avis sont trompeurs et les chambres sont assez médiocres. Elles sont propres mais très en dessous des standards japonais : encore plus petit que les petites chambres d'hôtel, toilettes et douche minuscules, mal isolé avec une fenêtre coulissante qui ne se ferme pas totalement, très vieillot, serviettes usées... Il n'y a que la gentillesse de la dame à l'accueil pour compenser tout ça. J'ai réservé 3 nuits, mais n'y suis resté qu'une heure avant de partir chercher un autre hôtel.

• Joost (8/5): Great hotel to explore Asakusa and even Skytree tower - Great location to explore Asakusa (Senso Ji) and even Skytree tower Spacious room Equipped with your own airconditioning, tv, tea table Ryokan interior makes it feel more cosy If people arrive with their own umbrella and leave it at the umbrella stand. Please don't throw it away the next day. My last days in Tokyo it was pouring rain. I would like to walk towards the shops and metro without getting soaked.

Towels change every day. Water in shower is nicely hot. Place is near to metro station and some tourist spots. Wish I could stay longer.

Pulizia ottima, letto comodo.Doccia e lavandino da rivedere, ma bisogna tenere conto di quanto spendi, di conseguenza posso proprio dire che è stato il miglior rapporto qualità prezzo riscontrato negli ultimi viaggi fatti. Il quartiere l'ho trovato stupendo, trovi sia templi da visitare sia locali per mangiare e divertirti la sera. Posizione perfetta vicino alla stazione metro. Da consigliare!!

• Federica (9/5): Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo - Spazi ridotti ma puliti e giusti per una persona, per un paio di notti. C'è tutto quello di cui si possa aver bisogno (shampoo, sapone, spazzolino con dentifricio..) Posizione ottima in uno dei quartieri più autentici di Tokyo. Disponibilità alla reception. La stanza ha solo una piccola finestra in alto vicino al soffitto, quindi la luce all'interno è solo artificiale.
• William (9/5): - Clean facilities, good sized room besides the bathroom area. My room had tatami mats which was cool. I was able to drop my luggage off earlier in the day before check in time, and when I checked in the staff had already moved my luggage up to my room, which was appreciated. Provides the basic amenities you would expect (hygiene stuff, slippers, robe, etc.). Make sure the location is what you want, e.g. you are planning on going to places on the Ginza line, as that is the only main line that Tawaramachi Station (the most convenient station) has. My towels weren't very good at drying and there isn't a lamp in the room (at least that I saw).

• Michael (10/5): - Unbeatable location! The owner was very kind and helpful. My flight got delayed by 4 hours and I arrived after check-in the owner was understandable and kind. I was able to late check-in.
• Katia (9/5): - The location was perfect. Near to everything and easy access to public transport. The staff was kind and attentive. I loved that there where yukatas to wear at the room. We stayed in the second floor and it so happened that when opening the windows a cigar smell would enter the room. Also, I could get de air conditioner to work so I had to keep de windows opened all night because the room got too hot.

It has a very cosy atmosphere, with helpful and friendly staff always nearby Futons can be a bit stiff if youre not used to them, but you can double them up if needed
• Jacqueline (10/5): Excellent cozy solo stay in Asakusa - Absolutely perfect for a solo travel stay. Clean room, very comfortable futon bed, great AC unit, and your own toilet and Japanese deep tub to relax in. Comes with yukata and you can request new towels daily. Kind and helpful staff. And this lovely ryokan is so well-located! Walking distance to the best areas of Asakusa. You can come and go as you wish as it is 24HR access. I felt very safe as a female solo traveler. Excellent value. If you're looking for a clean, no-frills place that meets all basic needs, look no further. A couple of months before my trip, I was able to communicate via Booking chat to arrange an additional night stay (paid upon check in), for a total of 4 nights. Would 100% stay again in a heartbeat! Just an advisory, but was not an issue for me - occasionally there was a faint tobacco smoke odor in the hallway that would come in from outside. I just slid my bedroom door closed as an extra barrier, no issues at all! There is a fridge, but it is shared between all guests. Guests were respectful of others' items while I was there. :)

• Paulo (5/5): Gente Ruim, Troque de Hotel - O hotel é muito simpático e gostoso. O estilo japonês dos quartos é bem legal. Tudo muito limpo e arrumado. Bem confortável. Até que bem silencioso. O atendimento dos funcionários é ruim demais. Estacionei minha bike e amarrei ela na árvore na frente do hotel, pois ela é alugada, e já me chamaram a atenção por causa disso. No dia do check-out, deu 10h01, uma sirene foi ligada no quarto, depois bateram na porta, um desespero para que você saia do hotel correndo. Sensação horrorosa. Não aconteceu isso em nenhum hotel que fiquei durante as 3 semanas no Japão, só nesse, e que por sinal, era o mais mixuruca de todos. Alguns detalhes só para que vocês entendam o estilo deles: na hora que cheguei estavam com problema na água e me foi pedido compreensão por causa disso. Mas na hora de sair, não existe compreensão nem de um minuto da parte deles, ridículo. Os guarda-chuvas que em todos os outros hotéis são de graça para os hóspedes, nesse aqui você tem que pagar. As malas, se você extrapolar o limite que eles impõe, é cobrado também. Muquiranas e de má administração. Voltar nesse lugar, nunca mais. E indicar para que todos meus amigos passem bem longe desse lugar também. Essa gente assim tem que ir minguando, até que fiquem sem serviço e desapareçam. Olha que não sou de reclamar quase nunca, inclusive, nem troquei as toalhas (que tinha direito) e deixei o quarto impecável. Mas fiquei extremamente desconfortável com a atitude do pessoal desse lugar. Não recomendo. Sem falar que é fora de mão de tudo, não compensa mesmo. Vão para outro lugar!

Train also quite near but if you bring a lot of luggage it will feel far 🤭 Overall is ok. Only no lift but the room highest at Level 1 only. The staff will help u to carry yr bag to yr room n bring dwn to lobby when u want to check out. Very helpful.

• Luis Arturo (9/5): Funcional - Si quieres vivir la experiencia de quedarte en un hotel clásico, con tu habitación con pisos de tatami, cama estilo futom y un baño clásico japonés este es tú lugar, en general el hotel esta bien ya es algo antiguo pero cumple su función y su ubicación esta bastante bien si quieres recorrer Asakusa sin problema y sin necesidad de estar tomando transportes este es el lugar indicado.

• Caroline (9/5): - Für die Lage und den Preis genial und alle waren so super lieb und freundlich! Manche Sachen in den Zimmern sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen/abgenutzt aber es wurde wirklich gut geputzt und man war sehr bemüht, dass ich eine gute Zeit habe, die ich hatte. Aber wer eine ganz neue Ausstattung erwartet, wird hier nicht so glücklich sein.
