- COLIN (10/5): All of the above - Nothing was too much trouble, so cosy, warm, comfortable and homely
- Helen (9/5): A real find, a quaint, cosy property with great food - Exuded English charm in abundance. Laura couldn’t be more attentive and did everything within her power to make our stay comfortable and special. The breakfast choice was great as was the food we had for dinner. Take a torch as the walk from the car park is a bit dark and slippy.
- patrick (10/5): Brilliant Blue Boar - Everything this is a must go place Nothing everything was fantastic
- Geoffrey (10/5): Lovely place to stay - Comfort with very hospitable hosts Nothing
- Mark (10/5): -

- John (9/5): Incredible service from lovely owners - Outstanding personal service from the owners. Very attentive and nothing too much trouble Nothing really just minor things but you have to put this in the context of a listed building which makes any adjustments difficult.
- Julia (10/5): - Lovely friendly hosts. Good food and bonus points for interesting decorations, books and food.
- dawn (9/5): -
- Eugenie (9/5): A great, charming inn - This is such a charming place. Comfortable, clean and quaint - and the owners are just fantastic. Breakfasts were generous and excellently cooked. There's almost zero light pollution here, and the stars look magical at night! No negatives really! We really wanted to make use of the little lounge room with the open fire, but sadly time didn't allow.
- Geoff (8/5): Very friendly and pleasant stay. - Excellent food Wi-Fi was down.
- Richard (10/5): Laura and James went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. - The accommodation was clean comfortable and cosy. The food and hosts were exceptional.

- Sue (10/5): Perfect venue for an indulgent short break - Fabulous 12 Century building furnished in a lovely traditional, cosy style but with modern facilities such as fabulous shower. The most amazing food, cooked by Laura’s husband. Breakfast was a feast & my Birthday dinner was very special. Would not hesitate to stay again. If you like character & personal but not intrusive attention you’ll love it. Wi-fi is patchy but not a problem for me & easy to catch up when out & about.
- amanda (10/5): Lovely location, comfy beds excellent breakfast - Lovely quiet location, very friendly nothing is to much trouble .Easy to get around to other places and explore. The room was nice and spacious comfy bed. Breakfast was amazing compliments all round for an excellent stay in a lovely building.

- Mark (10/5): A short but very enjoyable stay. - Very old (part of it is 12th century), so different from the usual modern hotels we normally stay in. It’s an old, quaint building, so don’t expect the thrills and conveniences of a modern hotel, but it’s a great place to soak up the atmosphere and relax. We had an extremely warm welcome from the owners, with very attentive and personalised service. They were particularly helpful with my 92 year old mother whenever she needed to negotiate any steps. Thanks for a pleasant stay. As indicated above, it’s an old building so you need to take that into account when considering your expectations.
- Jennings (10/5): Laura & James were simply superb, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. - Everything! Laura & James were simply superb, absolutely nothing was too much trouble; their kind generosity was very much appreciated. Good luck with everything you do moving forward and thank you. Nothing

Laura and her husband were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The full English breakfast was lovely and plentiful and there a variety of options available to those who wished for a lighter meal. The residents bar is cosy and welcoming and tastefully decorated. There was nothing not to like. From the time of making the booking through til our arrival there was great communication with Laura and we were made to feel most welcome even though we were only staying the one night for the Thursford spectacular on Saturday 9th November 2024. Even better than the building was the landlady Laura. She seems like she was born to host, making us feel so welcome, booking taxis, etc. She is a delight!

Loved our short comfortable stay. Hosts were lovely and friendly. A quaint 17th Century Inn open to residents during the week and non residents at the weekend too. Warm inviting restaurant and cosy well stocked inn.

- Rbb (9/5): Excellent & we will return if circumstances allow and also have a full evening meal. - The location suited us well. We had come from Essex and visited Kings Lynn before our stay. When we left the BBI we moved on to the coastal route from Hunstanton to Happisburg. The welcome was warm and the lady mine host friendly & helpful. We had a well prepared and presented snacks and drinks in the evening as we had eaten a large meal in Kings Lynn. Before we left the following morning, we had breakfast which was excellent. The hosts were always mindful of my daughter's vegetarian requirements. I kept forgetting to duck under the bedroom doorway (room 1 I think) but that was my fault.
