Guest Reviews
- Martha (8/5): - Very nice people
- Joann (6/5): - Refrigerator didn’t work, no waste basket in room, soda machine didn’t work or display cost.
- FRANCES (6/5): - Stay little noisey. People living in apartments and door showed evidence it had been broken into.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very comfortable and clean. Reasonably priced. Limited wifi, so had a great night's sleep.
- John (8/5): Much nicer than it looks! - This is an older property, but recently remodeled (new floors, paint and furniture. Staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Just off I-90 in Westfield. Bathrooms are small, but serviceable. Owners offered to upgrade our two queen doubles to connecting king single and queen double at no additional charge. About halfway between town and the lakeshore. We booked this for the solar eclipse, as lodging was hard to find, and it looks a bit sketchy from the outside, but is a fine motel at a decent price.
- Ken (10/5): - Friendly owner with clean facilities and close to Lake Erie with good BBQ on the water = Whem Pigs Fly … tell the MISSISSIPPI sent ya!
- Craig (2/5): Give it a pass... - The hotel was run down, there was junk through out the yard and the room was was worn. If I was not dead tired I would not have stayed. For the price this hotel is a scam.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not worth the money - Very outdated.
- David (8/5): - The classic motel is simple, clean and affordable.
- Karl (6/5): - The property was clean and very convenient to Route 90. I thought the price was higher than I would have expected.
- Natalie (4/5): - It is possible that they were just setting up for business. If that’s true, my review would be an accurate.
Found a wolf spider in the bathroom.
The phone wasn’t plugged in.
The fridge wasn’t plugged in.
The remote to the TV didn’t work.
And had a single cup coffee pot.
The overall feel of the room felt dirty.
The outside lighting poor.
The curtains were falling down.
They gave you the bare minimum of amenities. One bar of soap, one a little small shampoo. Nothing else beyond that.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Kingcowboy57@aol.com; - Way overpriced for an OLD motel. For Two people, they gave us only one key, and one bath towel & washcloth. Hard time opening door with old time key lock. Not safe. Faucet wasn’t bolted down, bathroom door had punch marks, a/c unit was filthy-something flew out when turned on. Had to move Fridge from next to air conditioner that were supposed to share the same outlet and didn’t fit. I can’t plug in both In the same socket and be safe. Had old broken furniture, flies, bugs, mosquitos and gnats everywhere. (Remote control for TV was disgusting, and covered in black oily greasy stuff that Was extremely difficult to wipe off.) Sheets were threadbare and they are still using bedspreads and aren’t using boxspring covers. Mostly disappointed that no one from the office even tried to help us figure out what to do after we all herd the emergency alert for a tornado in the area.
- Ken (6/5): Not great - This was not our favorite motel on our travels. It was adequate but not great! Very dated and dreary! It was just Ok. I would not stay here again.
- Jo (6/5): Vintage - Clean and very dated
- Vasiliy Alekseyevich (8/5): - Good location and people. Recommend this motel.
- Mitchell (10/5): - Great old school motel. Nice staff. Great location for wineries
- heather (8/5): - Quick stop to sleep on the way to Michigan.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Classic motel that you really have your front door to park your car or sit and rest.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property is close to a very nice small town with nice antique shopping and dining options. The facility is old and dated, but clean.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It was clean. Nothing was stocked. Had to ask for everything. Way over priced for condition and location.
- Tim (10/5): - Very friendly! Room was comfortable. Soap and toiletries could be improved
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property is conveniently located immediately next to the freeway in a competitive hotel environment. It was old and worn out, but very clean. TV, coffee pot and air conditioner all worked. Minimal outlets. Met our needs for a night’s stay, but expensive for value received.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Exceptionally clean, staff very helpful, would stay there again without hesitation
- Verified traveler (8/5): Clean, Comfortable, No-Frills motel - Clean and comfortable, no-frills motel. Rooms are well kept if not dated. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Close to interstate and the lake.
Be sure to make a trip to When Pigs Fly BBQ pit for tasty brisket, ribs, mac'n'cheese, and cornbread. Across the street from Pigs is Jack's Barcelona Drive In for burgers and such.
- MANISH (10/5): - Good service and very clean place !
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Dated motel design, but very clean with a comfortable bed.
- Verified traveler (8/5): comfortable - I liked the baseboard heat! Very quiet and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very clean, comfortable. Easy to find and close to Intetstate. Good value and nice little stop on road trip.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Weird hotel. we decided to not stay. manager nice about it.
- Verified traveler (6/5): just what we needed - the motel was just off the interstate. the room was clean and convenient, just what we needed without spending a lot of money.
- Brooke (10/5): - We booked this at the last minute and wasn't expecting much since everything else was sold out or was over $300 a night. And their price was less than half that. We figured it would be a dive. But WOW!!! Clean room, nice looking, comfortable bed, and the shower had water pressure!!!! The owner was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again if we're ever over that way again and need a place to stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Stayed for 2 nights (3females) felt safe, comfortable plenty if hot water and good water pressure, all requests f or extra linens promptly filled, quiet. No pool or extras but for basic lodging it rates a 5. Would stay there again and tell others.
- Michael K. (8/5): - The owners were very friendly and helpful. They met our needs.
- Vincent (10/5): Every Day is a Holiday at the Holiday Motel - Excellent "Catch 40 Winks" type of Motel. Clean beds, friendly owners and the A/C is cold. Thruway noise is there but it's not loud and hey you are going to be streaming Netflix anyway. Of course at half the price of most other places around who cares? Save a hundred bucks over other places and go take a class at Chautauqua!
- Stephen (8/5): Carry on - Good re-build in progress. Good staff, attention... Location, location, location .... Well done, owners, hang on!
- Douglas (8/5): - Nothing fancy, but cleaN, QUIET & COMFORTABLE.
- Bruce (8/5): - It was an ok place to stay for a short stay. Could use some upgrading.
- Terry (8/5): Great deal at the price point - Fine place at the price point. Bring your own food. Middle of food desert
- stephen (8/5): convenient and comfortable - Nothing fancy, but quiet and comfortable. Very convenient location for me.
- Brian (8/5): Nicer than expected for a low end motel. - This is clearly an older property and looks a little sketchy when seen from the highway, but the room I was in had some new plumbing fixtures installed, everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The TV was fuzzy, but for being available at the lowest rate I could find in the area the room was nicer than expected. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Old and cheap, but decent.
- John (10/5): Really great value - fridge, hairdryer, nice chairs - pretty amazing value for a cheap place right off the highway. Friendly and helpful staff.
- jeffrey (6/5): beach glass hunt - everything was fine except for old TV and dorm size refrigerator on floor used also for a table for coffee maker
- Christina (8/5): Worth a Stay. - The motel is close to the highway and easy to get to. It's close to Lake Erie and cultural events in Westfield, NY. I was impressed with how clean the bathroom was. It looks like it was recently renovated and it has a cute vintage style.
- Jim (4/5): Barely basic - The room was old, equipped with old, worn out decor, and poor mattresses. It was very clean.
- Kimberly (6/5): - Air conditioner was not great
- Verified traveler (6/5): for the price i cannot complain - All in all its not horrible, but since i see they rennovated the bathrooms with new shower surrounds i would think they would move the shower heads above 5' so taller people could actually take a comfortable shower. And also the toilet felt like it was from a little kids bathroom. The thruway noise was actually kind of soothing, but the train rolling through with the horn at 4am 2 days in a row sucked. I would not choose to stay here again.
- Frank (2/5): "Don't pay until you look at your room." - There place was much less than expected as it was described as a higher scale room for the extra money it cost.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Clean room - Looked like it was right out of the 50s no worries. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. I will stay there again. Nice place to spend the night when you need to get off the road and rest
- Verified traveler (4/5): Quiet & Close to Interstate but that's It - This motel just barely was acceptable. The beds were fine, but place is in need of serious upgrades...it's stuck in 1960. Sure it was right off the interstate, but we're going to be more selective next time we pass by. Not worth the $75 we paid. Fridge wasn't working, sink old, ceramic soap dish broken off wall. But it WAS quiet!
