- Peter (1/5): The worst hotel/motel I have ever stayed at in Canada or the US! - Good access Night staff was miserable. All staff were not at the desk any time I was. Had to yell to let them know and the evening staff never responded even though I could hear her on the phone. Room was unclean especially the toilet. Bed was uncomfortable and the TV and the WI-FI did not work!

I was accused of smoking, I allowed them to come into my room, which the male night shift manager said “it seems you weren’t smoking but we will still have to charge or kick you out.”I asked them to check their cameras for the times I went out to my car and explained I had a vape at best . I told them I’d rather leave as there was bugs everywhere and getting accused of smoking while I’m pregnant is beyond me. While packing my things up later at night I asked if they could help me get a cart- as I’m pregnant and couldn’t carry everything by myself. instead I got a bunch of attitude over the phone and was treated horribly. I’m so thankful I didn’t spend a night in a bug infested motel but completely taken back by not only the worker’s attitude but the management. I’ve never had a problem at any other motel 6. Instead of kicking out the crackheads smoking in and all around the hotel- they kick out the regular and pregnant people. What a joke that place is.

- canadiantennisgirl (2/5): Do NOT stay here. Homeless shelter and dangerous/disgusting. - If it was possible to give negative stars I would. We needed a short term stay for a family member so needed something close by and boy what a mistake. Where to begin…..first off it’s used as temporary housing for the less fortunate. I witnessed people looking through garbages for food in the hallway. The cops were there once and they drop off food donations from Tim Hortons for the people staying here. I am not saying these people caused any issues for us personally but not something you expect to see when you are a full price paying guest. If you’re using this as a homeless shelter you should not be renting this out for the general public. Secondly the rooms are downright dangerous. The door of the bathroom was completely off the hinges and I was worried the entire door would come crashing down. The deadbolt didn’t work and this was the second room that my family member was moved to. Thirdly the rooms are just gross and most likely have bedbugs as bites were found on the legs. After taking off the sheets it was absolutely disgusting. And if that’s not enough. The most disgusting part was that as we had booked for a few nights they refused to fully refund when we checked out early pulling some bs that you lose the discounted rate you got for the extra nights and they charge you full price for the nights that you did stay. The fact they try to charge $140 per night for this place is truly laughable. Stay far far away. I will be fighting for a full refund but wanted to get my family member out of there as fast as possible for their safety. They also still owe us back over $200 for the unused nights but we just wanted out ASAP

- Logothetis (1/5): Drunk Stranger was given a key to our room and entered our bed at 5am!! - An inebriated person entered our room at 5am!! Apparently this person grabbed the iPad at front desk and said they were staying in our room They then entered our room with a key that front desk made for them and attempted to enter our bed at 5am!! We somehow got them out of our room and the front desk staff had to call police to escort them out of the building. We didn’t feel safe enough to stay another night. We spoke to front desk several times and asked to speak to a manager and have yet to hear from anyone!! Only a 10% credit was offered. It would have been better if an intoxicated stranger didn’t enter our room at 5am!!

- Duncan (9/5): Still good value with friendly staff - The staff were 5-star helpful and friendly. Extra pillows and a comforter (which was high quality) were gladly offered immediately on request. The mext morning, the lobby's coffee Urn ran dry...someone appeared with a fresh coffee from the staff area, so I wouldn't have to wait. The place is very brightly lit. Comfort and cleanliness were good. The 'grab and go' breakfast box was super-minimal, which ok I knew about, but it didn't even have all the advertised items. It's not a real breakfast. Towels were clean but not very new and just adequate.

The AC was broken, and the room had a terrible smell. There was water on the floor, and when I wiped it up the towel came back black—so now I’m down to just one towel. I was planning to quietly mention this at checkout, but someone else was already complaining. Staff was great, I can't imagine what it's like working there knowing it was like that. Was there with my kids. I can't believe it.
