Susan (4/5): - Although our beds appeared clean,we could feel the springs which made sleeping uncomfortable The paint was peeling in multiple places, dirty corners in the bathroom, the paint job was sloppy. The elevator didn’t work and I have problems with steps. The pool was closed because it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. and there was a stale cigarette smell throughout the building.

chimkumaga (2/5): - I don’t even know where to start. The second I walked into my room, it reeked of stale cigarettes mixed with dog crap. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the 90s, the sheets had mystery stains, and the bathroom smelled like a wet ashtray. I honestly felt dirtier after showering. The walls are thin enough that you hear every cough, argument, and barking dog in the building. My “non-smoking” room was clearly used as an ashtray for years. I had to stuff a towel under the door just to make it breathable enough to sleep. The ONLY positive thing I can say is that the front desk lady was incredibly kind and helpful — she deserves a job somewhere that doesn’t make her apologize for such filth every day. If you value your health, your nose, or your sanity, do yourself a favor: spend the extra $20 and stay literally anywhere else.

We were told we would have all amenities and when we arrived we were told one of our rooms did not have a microwave or fridge. Do not stay here and listen to the reviews!!!

The elevator has been broken for a month, according to the sign on the elevator. A big sign outside WiFi, there was no WiFi. The only good thing was the AC. Oh, one more thing, when we checked, they demanded a $20 cash-only deposit. That was not posted on Hotels.com

Water pressure in shower was unusable. No garbage can in bathroom. Television was too dark to see and couldn’t be adjusted. Very unsafe outside. Had to go to an atm off site to pay their $20 CASH ONLY deposit after room was already paid for. Horrible and scary experience and would not recommend. Too intimidated by the staff to complain.

Jaesa (2/5): - Worst experience ever Even tho this is a dog friendly hotel, I wouldn’t even let a gold fish sleep in this disgusting place. Not only did it sound as tho there was dog fights going on, on the third floor. This “non smoking” establishment has ash trays in the rooms and people just smoking throughout the whole property. We saw someone carry a whole tv out the front door. Women selling you know what. Elevator broken. But worst of all. We didn’t even feel comfortable having our bags in our room. After 13 hours on the road we just needed sleep. And a room to our self. But instead we got a room with 40 others, aka ROACHS. They were smashed to the wall and door frame. Everywhere you looked you saw one crawling. My step son ultimately asked if we could just sleep in our car. At one point I looked at my husband and asked if we were even safe to stay here. Lesson learned. Don’t blindly book a room without reading the reviews. This place should be burnt to the ground

Tamia (2/5): - They gave my hotel away when I had already book my room aswell got an protection plan not even call me and was rude when asking questions also made it seem like we didn’t book our rooms but we did the booking an month in Advance do not go to this place it’s run down on the outside and nasty the pool is not even open don’t waste your money and it’s crazy they asking me how was my stay but I didn’t get the chance to even sleep there and they overprice for low quality
Tara (2/5): Terrible - The place was disgusting and smelled realy bad. Front desk lady was very nice. But my room i booked was given away so we got a 3rd floor room and the elevator was broken, hair in the ice bucket, hair all over the bed, urine stains on the bed, floors were nasty.

Elevator not working “for a long minute” per male front desk attendant who checked me in. Serious ADA complaint! Door not locked to stairway you have to WALK UP to your room, do not come here if you have a disability Pool closed in July with weeds growing out of pool cover at steps. Don’t know what Motel 6 you copied pictures from, but they certainly are not of this place. My receipt said I had to pay $2 fee, but front desk guy told me I had to pay $20 cash deposit. What hotel makes you pay that! The bed sounds like bed springs from the the 80s. My room selection said a queen bed, it’s a double. Seriously, the only hotel I didn’t want to take a shower in my bare feet and not until I left. The male front desk attendant, don’t know who or how he was trained tried to get me to pay again! I told him I had already paid, but it took him quite awhile before he was able to see my reservation. I finally got to my room, rust on light fixtures. Horrible squeaky bed. No way to adjust cold in the room, thermostat wasn’t even visible. I had to sleep with my jacket on zipped up it was so cold in the room. Toilet was clogged after 1st use - wouldn’t even flush. Nothing to stop it up! This is located near Ft. Jackson, so don’t know if it is a 1 hr motel or what or tourist TRAP. A frickin joke!!! My review is so long, it won’t let me type anymore. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Phil (2/5): Worst hotel stay of my life - Staff not at desk at check in and not courteous. Room smelled damp and musty. Refuses not work and freezer had a puddle of water. No shower curtain. Towels were very damp. Called number posted in lobby but the lady claimed not to know Motel 6 after putting me on extended hold twice. Called M6 service line and was treated very professionally. Formal complaint filed and one night refund expected. Promise to switch rooms for my 2nd night. When I returned Fri. afternoon to switch rooms, the General Manager was not friendly or courteous. when I got my belongings from the original room, the refrigerator was gone but there were 2 puddles of water on the floor. New room was much better but w/o a refrigerator. I got very little sleep that night though due to other guests being very loud inside and outside. Dogs barked and kids screamed. All this noise continued most of the night.

I went up the street and got a better room. - Willie the guy at the front desk was nice that was the only thing I liked about the property The rooms smelled like smoke there was crackheads in and out the pool looks like it hadn’t been used in years it looked nothing like the picture
Gilberto (1/5): Worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. - Absolutely nothing. 20 minutes after check-in I had to check-out. I want refound. Me, my wife and kids was alocated in a smoking room. Despite requested, we weren't realocated to a non-smooking room. Not only the room but the whole 3rd floor smeels so bad. Room was dirty, old forniture, bed looks terrible. Impossible to stay. We checked-out 20 min later. I WANT REFOUND. On the way out, we saw that the attendand had to lend a broom to a guest kill a coachroach. Terrible.

Cassandra (1/5): Poor up keeping - Location was good That we paid for deluxe room with microwave and fridge. They told us they didn't have any they had rooms on the first floor. The elevator is not working for guest but staff uses it. They had us check out to check back in to put us in a second room that the AC didn't work. Then I was told we had too many people in our room they refused to rent to us after we been paying for our room. I didn't know u count babies as a person. Told me I had to pay for two rooms. The ice machine taste like soap. The general manager is rude caught a whole attitude for something that was not my control. The smoking rooms are way on third floor. No working pool. The hotel run down not to mention their is a bench to sit on outside the one staff making a issue if you're not smoking you can't sit there. Who wants to sit in a hot room all day. The second room the AC is shot the maintenance came looked at it. The lady that was in our room prior to that the one lady who works at front desk told her she broke it. Like this is sad they should up keep their hotel better. Then they keep people's deposits like I was booking my stay online and try paying for it early they tell me I have to check out and check back in even if I'm in house.

Cassandra (1/5): Unsatisfied - Location was good and coffee in the morning. I didn't like the pool didn't work the ice machine taste like soap. The rooms ac none of them worked. They told us we had too many plp in our room but their loosing business. We booked a room with a microwave and fridge they said they didn't have any but when they cleaned the rooms I saw some. The elevator works only for staff. The first room they had us in the AC didn't work. Then they put us in another room with the broken AC.

Julia (4/5): Never recommend it to anyone - There was nothing to appreciate or like at all. Guess, you get what you pay for. Wouldn't use Motel 6 again. No breakfast. Elevator was out of order, had to use the stairs to the 3rd floor to get to the room. Found roaches in the room, was killing them constantly. Air conditioner smelly like cigarettes. Bed was very uncomfortable, lumpy, alot of dent in the mattress. Television did not work properly. I was never told about the deposit, it had to be cash, 20.00 deposit. We did our best to feel comfortable. I wiped everything down with sanitizer I had from home & Lysol.. there was dog poop on the grounds.

Tracey (4/5): - Unfortunately this was a property I would not recommend, especially with children. The staff are struggling to maintain even a low level of hospitality. Elevator out of order, Emergency exit disabled for entry, smelly and hot in corridor, stairwells, had to go back to request a different room as the first was to smoke filed. We had a planned event and no time to make a hotel switch so accepted the second room with less smell. Had to pay a $20 cash deposit, was told it was to prevent smoking in the room. This hotel should not be listed on Expedia.

Also, while we were there, people were coming up to warm foom. What motel don't have a microwave in the rooms.

Fire alarm battery was low and beeped all night in the hallway. The stairwell smelled rancid. The first floor was flooding between 4 rooms and no hazard signs. Elevator didn’t work & pool was closed in July.

Jaylin (5/5): it was decent. it was a good enough stay for a couple days - i wish the employees would have knocked upon opening a door to clean. we had one employee walk into our room @8 in the morning without a knock or a heads up. i understand they have a sign that says “lock the door if your inside” or something along the lines of that. but there should be something where they can mark who is in what room. and shouldn’t bother them.
KSav (1/5): - Management and staff attempted to provide some relief but ultimately all the rooms are trash This room was piss poor and it should be condemned. The freezer was unclean. One of the rooms began to flood because it was raining and something was wrong with the window. The elevator was broken and we had to take the stairs. It smells like they clean the entire hotel with a rag that was dipped in the toilet. The carpet in the hallways is either pulled up stained or soaked in god knows what. The free coffee they offer is muddy water. The toilets are loud. The bathrooms have names written all over it. Just a terrible experience and its a shame they have enough nerve to charge a 20 dollar cash deposit.
