• 421billp (10/5): Super 8 actually rather Super - I used to love Super 8; but after several bad experiences, I axed the deteriorating chair from my list. However, due to various factors, I found myself at this Super 8 in Asheville. I wasn't expecting much. I wasn't disappointed, I was astounded!!! Greeted with a smile and pleasantries! Everyone--employees and even the guests--exude joyful attitudes. Rooms and everything clean. Need a snack? There was a nicely maintained snack shop [even ice cream] adjacent to the office. And the prices were reasonable. We visit Asheville often, and this is now our preferred stay place

• jaycW299LD (10/5): A pleasant surprise - As I travel across the country I stay at Wyndham properties regularly. Last week was a super 8 in Arizona that was horrible. This week I was very pleased with this property. Very clean, well maintained, everything in proper working order. It was a very pleasant stay. The decor was nicely updated during their last renovation. Although this is clearly an older property, it is very clear the owner and staff take pride in their property. Well Done! • davidoJ9233IH (2/5): Screwed - Room was fair, problem happened after I checked out. Hotel charged me$100 saying I smoked in the room, I’m not a smoker and I know no one in Asheville. I checked out at 7 am and someone else went in the room after I checked out. It can be verified on hotel cameras. They refuse to call me back and take the charge off my CC. I would NEVER stay at this property!!
• Curtis (10/5): - Jay (check-in)) and Anthony (check-out) were pleasant and helpful at the reception desk. Although this Super 8 had the typical breakfast fare there was a Waffle House a short walk across the street. The pool was small yet cute. The location was close to area attractions on the Blue Ridge Parkway and a short drive to downtown.
• Shara (8/5): - It is a good motel. We will be staying there again. For Asheville, NC, it is priced well. Parking is good. Right off the highway. Close to UNC Asheville.

• Dennis (10/5): What You'd Expect from a Super 8 - Older hotel. Room had been smoked in previously so there was a stale cigarette smell. Only stayed for one night during a trip. Cleaning staff could spend a little more time in the rooms. Comfortable bed. Front desk service was great. Very nice people.

The manager was so sweet and he gave me a 20 percent off discount! And he did offered to put me in another room. I was just to tired to move in it. It was clean but just like at your home, hidden corners could always get a little extra love/cleaning. As typical with most hotels there were some spots that could have paint touch ups where guest have scuffed walls with suitcases etc. there was nothing that impacted the quality of our staff but tiny details could have made it perfect. Breakfast was limited but hold get you going. We would stay there again.
• BCole61 (8/5): Nice, Peaceful Little Motel With All Ground Floor Rooms - I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend which is normally a busy time in the Asheville area. The motel was still nice and peaceful. The grounds were lovely and well maintained. All of the rooms were all ground floor which is helpful for a guy with orthopedic issues like me. The motel is pet friendly and is set up well for them with a fenced in walk area. The rooms weren't fancy, but I wasn't paying for fancy. I would stay here again.

• S9972RHharryd (2/5): Creepy blonde stalker employee - Stayed here in May of this year with my family for a couple of weeks the rooms are clean and everyone was nice but one person the blond haired woman with glasses that worked in the office I think she was some kind of supervisor or something she is a stalker and tries to get into the guests personal business and she is also very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional and does not need to be working at a place like this because you do not harass paying guest would be glad to give a five star review if it was not for her she is one of those people that give you the creeps also viewed her walking a dog while she was working and she stopped and let it use the bathroom in the wall which was very disturbing

• N460ZIrebeccag (10/5): Clean room at reasonable rates - My family and I stayed at this motel for three weeks. Upon check-in, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well lit. Our entire stay the front desk was always nice. My house keeper (don't know her name ) but she was always very friendly and done a great job cleaning the room. I would recommend this motel to anyone that is looking for a clean room at reasonable prices.

Big flat screen tv, huge clean room. Does NOT smell like smoke at all. NO smells. Bomb showers. Areas for your dogs. Really happy about this booking. Will be back.

• kvunca187808 (2/5): Rude desk attendant - Check in attendant was very rude and lied about always following the procedure and the property has not tried to reach out to apologize for the inconvenience and I will not be staying there again although I was staying there at least once a week for last few months
• Dean (2/5): - My wife and I booked a non-smoking room for one night. When we first opened the door that night, we could definitely smell cigarette smoke. We didn't smell it on the sheets so we decided we wouldn't complain about it and just get up the next morning and get a shower to get the smell off of us. When we got up the next morning, there was no water to take a shower or brush our teeth let alone flush the toilet. Found out from the front desk that a water main had burst overnight and they wouldn't have water restored until lunchtime which was past our checkout time. When we went to checkout, I asked her would there be at least a partial refund. We were told that since we booked through Expedia, that we would have to take it up with them. What kind of answer is that? Will now take it up with Expedia and see if that helps. Super disappointed. Do not stay here.

The room could use an update or two but if you want an affordable stay where you won’t catch a disease from the bedsheets or see a drug deal in the parking lot this is a great option.

The room appeared newly refreshed—clean hardwood floor, spacious bath, comfy bed, etc. Was traveling with two pups and there was ample room to walk them for bathroom breaks, as well as potty bags and trash cans on the property. There was also a Tesla charger. Front desk staff was warm an inviting both and check in and check out. Breakfast was prepackaged food, which was fine. This property far exceeded my expectations and I would quickly book this property again!

• gkowar705689 (8/5): Just an old couple celebrating 30 yrs together - This was a prepaid-planned pit stop for us after a full day of driving and sight seeing. Was so glad the property was well maintained and cared for so we could have a quiet evening n solid sleep to begin our next day. I work in hotel housekeeping industry so I appreciate the efforts and can tell when an honest attempt is made for guests. Kudos!!
• Ervin (8/5): - Super 8 Biltmore is a good place to stay. The staff are nice, the maintenance man had to come until the toilet however; automatically state that a discount would be give for the inconvenience, & the atmosphere was peaceful.
• Jacob (10/5): - They have an electric car charging station in the parking lot and it works well and no charge to use it for guests. The rooms were not as clean as they could be. Floors were rather dirty.

• Lara (8/5): Happy, but not... - The customer service was exceptional, and I am very appreciative of that. The cleanliness of the room was not up to par, though. I never witnessed any of the housekeepers vacuum or mop the floors. I changed rooms once because of the dirty floors and dirty shower, but even the room I switched to had dirty floors and shower. I literally only saw the housekeepers change the linens, and cleaning rooms requires alot more than that. This hotel is in a good location, though, and dogs stay for free, so that was all a plus for me.

• Rodney (4/5): - We got to the property very late our room had condensation throughout everything was wet and the room smelled like ammonia. The tub floor was slippery and moldy. The bathroom floor was soft almost like a hole was under the vinyl flooring. The sheets seemed clean on the bed the coffee pot in the room was dirty and had mold in the water reservoir. The a/c in the room only had 1 speed and was horribly loud all night. Thankfully the parking lot was well lit and there were cameras everywhere. The night clerk at the desk was nice checking us in behind the bullet proof glass. But we needed a place to sleep before continuing home so it served its purpose.

I loved that we could drive up to our door and not have to haul bags far. We also had a nice selection of places to eat close by.
