• Emma (6/5): - This accommodation was very run down. They only accept cash for payment. There is no working elevator. The floors of the apartment are badly stained and damaged. The furniture is junky. I feel like this place could be good if they had someone come in and decorate a bit, put down some rugs. Hung some nice art. Moved the furniture around. It just feels like there is no care put in. The building is old and has charm but I was shocked at how the apartment looked when I walked in. It was very unappealing. At first I thought it was dirty, but I don’t think it was. It was just not nicely put together at all. The location is ideal though.

• Timothy (2/5): - the photo was not of the actual unit. bed was on wheels under kitchen floor so you sleep about 6 inches off the floor. bedding provided was horrendous. could not pay by Credit card. had to wire cash for this unit. check in time is 4 hour window if you miss it 15 euro cash penalty I had to leave early on Monday was charged 15 euro for early check out that no one showed up to do.
• Nada (8/5): - Very central! Spar supermarket literally 3 doors down. Large roomy. NOT 5 star, but neither was the price. Clean bathroom. Double lumpy bed. Kitchenette has plenty cutlery and crockery no pots and pans. Portable oven cooked everything in it, used foil in place of pan. Portable stove top which I didn't use due to no pots and pans. Small fridge, worked really well. No WiFi or TV, but I used my own. Hosts 2 doors down in antique shop, very nice and approachable. Bedding cost me €9, could bring your own. There is a small lift, but I still had to climb 6 steps to my room. Don't know about other floors. Floorboards creaky, but I got used to it. Simcards/phone purchases 5 min walk Magenta, and another one 10 min walk. Mobility scooter repairer Trittbet Heldon 15 min walk. Hop on buses - just don't! They're anything but. They do one loop, one guy narrates in English and German; so boring, I embarrassingly fell asleep! Taxi stand about 5 min. Taxi fare to Graz Central Train terminal cost me €14.
• Thomas Georg (4/5): Antik - Blauäugig gebucht. Veraltete Wohnung. Das Bad war renoviert und sauber. Das Zimmer selbst , uralt, Wände erhielten wahrscheinlich den letzten Anstrich vor 40 Jahren. Das Bett war wie eine Schublade unter einem Podest, was die Küche war. Uralte Möbel, man kam sich vor, wie in einem Antiquariat. Man erhält seinen Schlüssel übrigens im Antiquitäten Geschäft im EG während der Öffnungszeiten. Wenn man nach 18h anreist, bzw. vor 07h abreist, muss man extra 15€ zahlen. Zudem kommen nochmal extra 9€ pro Person für Bettbezüge und Handtücher. Das Zimmer hatte keinen Fernseher, geschweige WLAN. Die Terrasse war mit Moos und Unkraut bewachsen und hatte keine Sitzmöglichkeiten

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Die Lage in der InnenStadt ist hervorragend und doch sehr ruhig. Befremdlich ist der Umstand, vermutlich wegen des VermittlungSystems keine Kostenwahrheit besteht. Die Übernachtung ist zwar günstig, auch wenn 25 Euro für Endreinigung und 2×9 Euro für Bettwäsche dazukommen. Dass es so ist, finde ich im Sinne der Wahlfreiheit gut, aber das müsste im Übernachtungsangebot auch ersichtlich sein.

• Matija (4/5): - The cleaning fee doubled the price and the opening hours are not very good. The staff did help with that though. Bulding is very old but that's what gives it its charm I suppose. Not recommended for solo travelers or short stay. May be nice for a couple and a longer stay.

• Helmut (2/5): Did not check in - Upon deciding to book there was only talk about 46 Euro/ night. That was ok because we needed only one night. After booking that amount was confirmed, but in the fine print right at the end of the explanatory notes there was mention of cleaning fee 46 Euro for the night and additionally a 9 Euro fee for bedding. This I never encountered anywhere before. But the booking had been done. So, after the point of decision, the info was forwarded. Upon trying to check in I was informed about this arrangement. Plis a caution of 100 Euro, plus lawyers if smoking ban was not obeyed (I am not a smoker). Furthermore I was informed that my credit card was not accepted. I was given an european account to send the money too. Difficult and inconvenient for me as an Australian. Ander those conditions I did not check in. I was told I would have pay storno fee. Because the conditions leading to my refusal were only evident after I had booked I do not see why I should pay 45 Euro. Furthermore I am diabetic an suffer from heart disease. I had to look for an alternative accomodation on this extremly hot evening (european heatwave). After 2 hours unsuccessful searching we could stay with friends. It is my intention to hand this case to my lawyer because of the hardship I have suffered and the uncompromising attitude of the person on checkin. I cannot see why on earth I should recomend HSG10 to anyone
• Verified traveler (2/5): Expedia error ..... I hope I was not charged.... - I arrived to be told that the property was apartments and could not be booked for one night. They said it was an Expedia error. They offered me an alternative several kilometres out of town which was not acceptable. They apologised and said I had not been charged. I hope this is the case and that Expedia has not charged me. PLEASE RESPOND EXPEDIA CUSTOMER SERVICE
• W (8/5): Einfachste Wohnung in zentraler Lage. - Wir suchten ein günstiges Quartier in der Grazer Innenstadt. Hierfür war die Wohnung die preisgünstigste Alternative.

• Daniela (8/5): indicato per soggiorni di una settimana. - Non è indicato per chi soggiorna una notte sola. Bisogna pagare i costi aggiuntivi della pulizia del monolocale e anche l'affitto della biancheria (oppure portarsela da casa). Il monolocale e' in centro storico quindi molto comodo ma bisogna concordare la consegna chiavi entro le ore 18,00 del giorno d'arrivo. Ogni pagamento deve essere effettuato attraverso bonifico, anche se prenotato online; invece nei dettagli della prenotazione c'era scritto che bastava la carta di credito. Non c'è angolo cottura, solo un bollitore d'acqua e un piccolo frigorifero.
• Michael (8/5): Sehr faires Preis-Leistungsverhätnis - Noch nie hatte ich soviel Streß mit der Buchung eines Zimmers (samt lustiger Nebenkosten und Betten-selber-Überziehen). Aber letztendlich war es ein gelungener Aufenthalt, sehr ruhig und trotzdem mittendrin.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Generous place in the city center - The best thing about HSG10 is location. The apartment I had booked was quite spacious & I was positively surprised. The place itself & the location were actually wonderful. However, the entire experience was a bit awkward for a number of reasons. For instance, only after you have completed your booking, will you be informed by email that you should bring your own bed linen or rent the same for €9.00 from then - which also means that you would have to bring your own towel in case you don't rent, though I was given towels upon request for free. Pay attention to the price details before paying online as a cleaning fee applies which may double the room price in case you are staying only for one night. It would help a lot if the people who run this place were a bit more professional in terms of how they communicate & in regard to the details and (no-)frill options were more transparent. The parking garage is just down the street & available at a very reasonable rate of fifteen euros per 24 hours. However, you need to park beforehand somewhere outside near the hotel to first get your discount card & then take your car out of the garage before checkout. An easier way would be to stamp the card you pull & then pay the reduced price at the garage.

Kein funktionierender Vorhang trotz Gegenüber.(Rollo ohne Schnur und als mittels auf Sessel steigen heruntergezogen, ging nicht mehr hoch,Waschtischarmatur defekt., Bettdecken müssen verlangt und selbst überzogen werden .Das Deckenlicht funktioniert nicht,Licht spendet eine Stehlampe weit weg von der Türe, nur eine Nachttischlampe auf einer Seite des Doppelbettes

• Eva (4/5): Hans-Sachs-Gasse - Als ich zur Hans-Sachs-Gasse 10 kam, fand ich niemanden vor, daher fragte ich zwei Männer, ob sie vielleicht wüssten, wer verantwortlich ist. Sie brachten mich zur Vermieterin und sie checkte mich ein. Dann sollte ich zahlen, doch der Preis lautete 79, statt den auf deer Buchungsseite anggebenen 45 Euro pro Nacht. Zuerst dachte ich das sei ein schlechter Scherz, oder jemand wolle mich übers Ohr ziehen doch tatsächlich stand noch unter dem ENDPREIS kleingedruckt die Reinigungsgebühr (in meinem Fall 25) . Diese zeigte mir die Vermieterin auf eine für mich nicht sehr höflichen Art. Zusätzlich zu dem musste ich um 9 Euro Bettwäsche anmieten, natürlich hatte ich keinen Schlafsack mit und habe auch nicht mit so etwas gerechnet. Das Appartment selbst war gut eingerichtet und hat seinen Zweck erfüllt, doch die mir persönlichsten Kriterien, nämlich Transparenz und Freundlicheit waren absolut nicht gegeben. Normalerweise gebe ich immer sehr gute Bewertungen oder gleich gar keine, aber diese Dinge haben mich wirklich gestört. Der Junge der mich in mein Appartment geführt hat war dafür sehr freundlich.

Ho dovuto pagare 18 euro extra per l'affitto di una giornata di 2 cd lenzuola 2 federe cuscini 2 asciugamani viso e 2 doccia. Ho pagato per una giornata 25 euro per le pulizie, 15 euro parcheggio auto, totale 103,00 euro per una camera pubblicizzata a 45,00 euro. Fatevi i conti se vale la pena!

• Verified traveler (2/5): Don't book. - Warning to other guests. We never got to this hotel since even though we provided payment info such as a credit card they refused and only wanted cash to be payed out. From our stand point this seemed fishy since the discussion with Hotels.com and them did not match up. As such we steered clear from this place since we were not sure what kind of scheme is being run here. So this was a horrid experience overall.

• Benjamin (2/5): überteuert, ungepflegt und unprofessionell - Rezeption schwer zu finden - in einer anderen Strasse in einem Geschäft, unerwartet zusätzliche Kosten für Bettwäsche pro Person und Endreinigung - beides überteuert, das Zimmer war in einem ungepflegten Zustand - die Möbel waren abgewohnt und teilweise beschädigt, zum Badezimmer gibt es keine Türe, beim Fenster schimmelt es an der Wand, die Einrichtung/ Gestaltung des Zimmers ist spartan, das Personal unfreundlich und unprofessionell, eine Rechnung auszustellen über Kosten die noch vor Ort zu bezahlen waren stellte sich als schwierig dar - eine Bestätigung darauf, dass wir diese in bar beglichen haben wurde beinahe verweigert... Alles in allem kompliziert, unangenehm, teuer, unprofessionell - man fühlt sich nicht als Gast!
• Verified traveler (2/5): Scheußliche 1 Zimmerwohnung - Ich habe ein Hotelzimmer gebucht und bekam eine 1 Zimmerwohung, wo ich dann nach nur einer Nacht € 25,-- für die Endreinigung bezahlen mußte. Ich mußte meine eigene Bettwäsche mitnehmen, sonst zusätzlich € 9,--Gebühr. In der Wohnung war kein Kasten, KEIN FERNSEHER, es war sehr laut, das Bett war kaputt und hat bei der kleinsten Bewegung gekracht, man wurde immer munter. Es war die reinste Zumutung. Für die Übernachtungsmöglichkeit hätte ich nicht mal € 10,-- gezahlt. Es ist eine Frechheit, denn für den Preis hätte ich ein Hotelzimmer mit allem Komfort und Frühstück gekriegt, ich hab ja auch eigentlich ein Hotelzimmer gebucht. Ich hätte gerne meine € 70,-- zurück. Und das gehört veröffentlicht, damit das ein jeder lesen kann!
• Verified traveler (4/5): Achtung! Zusatzkosten beachten! - Die Zimmer und das Service waren soweit in Ordnung. Die nicht optionalen Zusatzkosten für Endreinigung (€ 25,00 je Zimmer/Aufenthalt) sowie die optionalen Kosten für Bettwäsche (€ 9,00 je Zimmer/Aufenthalt) und Parken (€ 15,00 pro Tag) waren im Preisvergleich nicht berücksichtigt, sodass andere, augenscheinlich teurere, Hotels in Summe günstiger gewesen wären... Der Aufenthalt wurde damit rund 70% teurer als angenommen!
• Ruth (8/5): Self catering establishment in the town centre. - Checking in and checking out can be difficult if not at the set times, but this is the only drawback. This is fully self-catering - there is a supermarket conveniently nearby, but this does not open on Sundays. However, Sunday shopping is possible at the train station. The hotel is conveniently close to the main tram interchange. The rooms (actually self-contained apartments) are very spacious and comfortable.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Nice hotel for its price - The hotel is good except for the lack of an AC in hot days. So I would recommend to stay in the hotel in winter rather than summer.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Kompliziert, nicht gut organisiert, Überraschung - Lt. website hotels.com klare Angabe bzgl. Bezahlung, es kam anders, Vorabüberweisung musste sein, auch für Bettwäsche, Handtücher muss eine Extra Zahlung geleistet werden, so war das zuvor in der ipad App nicht zu sehen, oh well, Kommunikation kompliziert, schon am nächsten Tag um 09:00 a.m. Schlüsselübergabe? es war für zwei Nächte bezahlt. naja Lieblos eingerichtet, Seife am Waschbecken fast leer, Sauberkeit solala, Mobiliar nicht wirklich brauchbar, Küche mit kunterbunter Einrichtung aber nicht gezielt sondern keep it cheap. Eingangsbereich nicht beleuchtet und all in black Positiv: die Location top zentral und Graz ist ein Genuss.
