Guest Reviews
- Zachary (4/5): - Na
- Faith (5/5): Staff was nice but wont be staying again - Staff was very friendly. It was very noisy. Kids just running around all types of hours of the night banging on doors, screaming, just being crazy. Neighbors were banging on their walls and talking loud. Bath towels had hair on them so did my bed. Room couldve been cleaned better
- Horne (8/5): Very good -
- Trinity (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trinity (10/5): Great warm and homey - The staffing was super kind and helpful There's really nothing I have to complain about
- Parrish (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jessica (1/5): Unsafe and unsanitary - The second shift front desk was really pleasant. The door didn't lock. The bathroom door was broken. There was writing on wall and the receptacles wouldn't hold the plug inside it we left a day early and they refused to refund that day..
- Marquita (1/5): Never going back because this one employee lied on me saying I refuse to pay a $20 fee that she never asked me for and i - The only thing I like was the location and the lady at the desk when I checked out she was sweet and kind the first time I went made me want to go back even if it looked dangerous to be there. I didn’t like the fact when I showed up to check in I waited at the window for five minutes. Plus I called and this lady picked up I told her I was there to check in and she said very rudely I’m in the bathroom and hung up on me. So I went back to the car to wait. About 3 minutes later I see moving around in the office so I go back inside and wait at the window. She was sitting at the desk looking at me. After 2 minutes she gets up and comes to the window didn’t say a word just stared at me. I then said my name and I had a reservation. She turned to the computer looks up my name and then goes to the desk grab a piece of paper looks at it and types something in the computer then turns to me and said your card was declined o told her because it’s locked and I’m paying in cash. She smacks her teeth and exhaled hard then goes back to doing something in the computer. I then slide my money and Id through the slot and waited she then says it will be $61.46 she grabs my money. Handed me some to sign and gave me my key. I asked do you mind if you walk with me to check the room out before I get it she said we don’t do that here. So I’m in the room for about 3 hours then get a phone saying I need to come and pay for the room before check out time. I was confused because I had already paid I said ma’am I already paid in cash and she said that my employee said that you refused to pay the $20 deposit for the non smoking room. She said you said you wasn’t paying that and walked off. I got upset packed up my stuff and went to the office. I talk to the manager I think and she said the same thing she said to me on the phone so I stopped her from further lying on me . I said I don’t like being lied on and your employee lied and said that I refused to pay a $20 fee she never told me about and I will not be back here. I’m ready to check out she was like no no I’m so sorry I should’ve checked the video before I even called you.
- Badger (2/5): Very poor - No breakfast. Bed was okay. sink stopped up. toilet. running water all night.
- Denise (10/5): - The place is much bigger and cleaner, the only thing I had was the room I was in last bathroom door was all busted and microwave didn't work, otherwise everything was excellent
- Foreman (1/5): We only lasted a good 5 hrs in that hotel - Cost of the stay and the location was all the appeal g factors Building lack proper maintenance, grass was overgrown , bathroom floor was sinking in . All buildings were dilapidated. Alot of living in folks that sat in groups outside smoking
- Verified traveler (6/5): $230 for a $70 room. - You charged me $230 for a $70 room. Thanks for nothing.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room was decent. Not amazingly clean but I get comfortable to sleep on the bed. No phone or bible which I found odd. Also no coffee pot or hair dryer. Water gets suuuuuuuper hot. Microwave, mini fridge , average size tv. Probably wouldn’t stay again but it wasn’t the worst. Staff was super nice. Got a non smoking room but everything still smelled like smoke. The neighbors aren’t loud, even during Valentine’s Day weekend. It was packed but you wouldn’t know from inside your room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was OK i enjoyed my stay i liked the bathtub it was a nice big one the bed wasn't real comfortable pillows were flat but i managed with the two in the room
- Gregory (8/5): It was quiet and the hotel room was the same - It was quiet and the hotel room was the same
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was clean and had good amenities and a good staff.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The rooms were not very clean. There were roaches in the room we were assigned, forcing us to change rooms. The second one was better, but not great.
- Roberta (2/5): Never again - Very disappointed with hotel. Rooms were filthy. I don’t think the floor had been washed in our room in months. Mattress did not have a full protector on it. We asked for a non smoking room but our room stunk of smoke and there were cigarette burns on everything. Couldn’t wait to leave.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I wasn't happy with it, lady that waited on me was very nice.
- Billy (8/5): The knights inn . - The property was nice and the people were amazing.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Sheets where nasty rooms where dirty. This place can use a cleaning service. Lights did not work properly. The list can keep going but just wanted to name a few.
- Verified traveler (2/5): In need of repair - The hotel is in need of repair. A sign in the reception area mentions the poor condition of the rooms and that there will be no refunds. Apparently being updated. I would not recommend staying at this property until the rooms and property are updated.
- William (4/5): Photo Misleading - 80.00 for 1 night .The room we were assigned to when we arrived was very nasty, carpet was grease & dirt filled ,bedspread looked like an old set of draperies, toilet was running, and the smell of the room even Smell-a-vision would not get it close.Luckily the lady running shift was understanding and gave use a different room, very disappointed !!!! in this hotel...
- Verified traveler (4/5): It sucked. - Checking in and out was great. The room was pleasant but the bed had a thin blanket if you call it that. The room was quaint and we could have used more towels. The vent and light system was noisy when the light came on to use the bathroom.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Roaches - Awful..NOT AT ALL NOT SUITABLE FOR MY PREGNANT FIANCE...gkad we didnt have our 2 yeaourld with us!! I wouldnt want her playing on the floor or eating or sleeping in these rooms...ROACHES. ...several! !! Sorry we book with hotels.com ALOT!! Very DISAPPOINTED! !! I do have pics but im not even gone do that
- Imre (8/5): Great for the money - Took good care of me
- Mark (6/5): Ok - Staff were nice. Parking was a little tight. Pool looked nice. Bed was weird. Nonsmoking room smelled like stale smoke. Clean otherwise. Cute layout. For the price, I would stay there again But it’s not for people with more refined requirements.
- Andrew (6/5): Should get our money back or a free stay - Trying to get out of cold for a night after a trailer fire went to Motel 6 that was no longer Motel 6 it was knights inn and we had to pay extra money for our room that we booked online then when we got in our room the heat/a.c. was loud and the remote didn't o one more how safe do you think you are if the rooms don't have phone what if something was to happen hmmm
- Verified traveler (2/5): This hotel does not exist - Upon arrival to address there was no Motel 6. The phone number associated with this motel is also disconnected. It was a huge waste of our time. A definite oversight by the website.
- Verified traveler (2/5): No longer Motel 6. Now a Knights Inn. - Don't reserve a room here. It will not be honored. No WiFi either. Plus the room smelled like a dog when I did finally get to check in.
- Logan (8/5): Convenient Location - Friendly Sraff and Convenient Location is about the only good thing. Bed sheets were dirty, cigarette burns on some of the furniture, vinyl floor in bathroom was peeling off and sticking out everywhere.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Id stay here again. - The mattress just seemed pretty old as the tv but everything else was good!
- April (2/5): I recommend you sleep in your car!! - I wouldn't leave my dog at this place! Drug dealers, prostitution everywhere, very uncomfortable and unsafe place to stay. The carpet was absolutely disgusting and didn't dare walk on it without shoes on. Now the staff on the other hand had great hospitality but would not recommend my worst enemy to stay there!!!
- David (8/5): - Not a bad location and the room was clean. Request Room 117.
- Ben (2/5): Very dirty. - Walked into the room to fresh blood stains on the comforter, and blood or feces stains on the bed skirt. I'm not sure which. Witnessed a staff member taking what he assumed were unused towels from one room and put them in another room for other guests to use because the front desk was unable to supply fresh towels and wash clothes. And yes the other reviews about cockroaches are true. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere clean.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Third world comfort would have been better - The good first, the water was hot and the coffee was decent. Now the rest of the story. I booked a king non-smoking. The only thing king was the headboard, the bed was a full. The 19 inch analog tv had a cigarette burn on the top of it. The bath sink had 20+ cigarette burns on it. There was no microwave, frig, or hair dryer. You could go to the office and ask for a hair dryer though. The floor in bathroom was sinking, and the carpet in open area was dirty. If the room rate was free, you will feel overcharged. I don't think I would stay there again.
- Dawne (2/5): Worst hotel ever. - Worst hotel ever. Very dirty and ill kept. I would not recommend.
- tina (2/5): - NOT GOOD, did not feel safe, and a old dirty room, smelly Cigarette hole blankets sinks, bath, & covers.. and a high pitch sound that lasted 15 seconds or more when you flushed the toilet, would wake the neighbors!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good for one night, Bed and toilet, rest cost - If I was passing through and needed a place to rest it would have been fine, but I stayed 3 days, I had to pay extra for frig and micro, first night the frig didn't work they replaced it the next day I had to wait for it to cool off , and the micro worked but the ceiling inside looked like a bomb went off in there the coating was peeling Food and things stuck there not cleaned, found plastic forks and things on the floor, and a note behind the Frig tip for house keeping, the old fat analog ty would fussing in and out. and LIMITED wi-fi internet is way to much per 24 hours per devise.( This Motel 6 blocks web sights they do not like). (( but all the nasty, naughty, sights pop up )) it took me 5 hours of scrubbing all the virus malware, spyware etc... CLean my computer Parking find, access good all first story rooms, The Floor was so nasty, the first time I showered the water coming off my feet was black, so after that I always wore slippers in there. The next day I wanted to shave and I turned on the hot water in the sink full power and mud or pipe rust came out, I had to let it run for about 30 mins before it was anywhere near clean. the stopper was not connected so I had to reach under the sink to let the water out and the tub had no stopper, I went to the store and bought a stopper and left it there for the next guessed. and apparently pet friendly, Many of the big dogs staying left there droppings everywhere. It is located in a part of town that businesses are closing .
- Tarchia (6/5): - The room smelled like mold and mildew
- Joseph (2/5): - Nonsmoking room smelled like an ashtray. Mattress was worn out. Only $50 a night, but could have been clean and had a decent bed
- larry (4/5): roach and cat pee - the price was cheap was the only good thing , you could tell people had been smoking in the room this month , the old cat pee smell was there. we had roach's on the bathroom to greet us in the am . but yes the sheets were clean on the slealed lumpy bed. it was a few hours and we were gone.
- JOHANNA (6/5): Poor beds - Beds were terrible, too soft and sagged in the middle
- Cai (4/5): Room smell - The non-smoking room smelled like a smoking room
- Fred Alan (10/5): Awesome place!! - We met Kim the morning after our first night, very pleasant person she takes pride in her work...Amanda was also very nice and helpful...thanks for a decent place to stay...only thing we didn't like was staying by the cleaning room, and people that may have lived there by their rooms...
- John (4/5): Just a room - Room was dusty and not cleaned well. Carpet was grungy. Bed was comfy and the staff i talk to were friendly. Cold AC.
- Verified traveler (6/5): It is what it is. - Our room was a lil dirty. Bed was okay, but the sheets are like paper. Don't understand why hotels use cheap hard sheets.
No shampoo or anything like that in the room.
- Jenni (8/5): Awesome staff - Checked in at 1am due to delays. The night clerk was dealing with a drunk guest. She kept her cool, helped her other guests while making him coffee, and got everything dealt with professionally. My room's toilet kept backing up. Maintenance attempted to fix it but was unable to. I was moved to another room that could use a deep clean.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Disgusting - Dirtiest place I've EVER been. Paid for 1 king, got 1 queen. Front desk made 0 effort to get a different room or discount the bill. Had 1 towel, asked housekeeper for another and she said there weren't any! Then, she told me she had been making beds without pillowcases because they were"out". Just DON'T do it! It's worth the extra few dollars to stay somewhere else.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Worth the money - The room was clean but the AC made it seem humid. The bed was sunken and needs replaced. Overall, it was a room for 2 nights at a reasonable price. No fridge or microwave. Just a room, #417.
- Verified traveler (2/5): What a joke - It was very dirty signs said hang towels to dry change sheets every 3 days. There was no maid service that came to our room. Also had a drug bust and slammed some guy up against our door very scary place. Our youngest son had bites all over him most likely bed bugs Will never go back
- Vijay (4/5): not worth the money. - cockroaches moving around in the room and cats outside the room. the microwave provided was non functional. condition of bed and ac needs attention. ensure you carry your own disposable crockery as they have nothing not even paper napkins or tissue apart from toilet rolls. better not to book online as this exit has many hotels and they match each other prices. so for the price you pay here, you will get much better hotel in the area. wont recommend anyone
- Verified traveler (8/5): 5 out of 10 - Nothing to rave about, check in was easy, room was clean bed's were wore out but usable.
- GEORGE (6/5): Out of date - Mother in law fell on wet floor from leaking sink
- WILLIAM (2/5): - First I would like to say the staff was as helpful as they could be but the entire place needs to be renovated. First room giving was occupied by another guest. Second room giving smelled like cat urine. Third room was as clean as it could be but the carpet was disgusting and the entire room was deteriorating. Deplorable conditions through out the room. The owner needs to revamp the place or sale. I only saved $10 on the room and wish I would just spent the extra $10 and went to a better place where I would been more comfortable.
- Ricky J (10/5): Clean hotel - Very relaxing the hotel was clean and very well keep the rooms could have been more mordern but other then that good hotel
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Rooms need updates...new matresses as well
- Connie (2/5): Cat stolen from my motel Room - My 24 year old son along with his cat of nine years had rented a room at motel 6 Burlington NC. We left our cat asleep in the bed and went to dinner. When we returned the cat was gone and the window was open. I reported it to the front desk and they acted as if they could care less. They said the cat must have escaped through the window. It's in the middle of winter we didn't open the window . Also the person that entered into that room had a key because the window can only be opened from the inside . My son is devastated and iam angry. The staff was no help at all
- Lynn (10/5): - Staff was very helpful. Took care of all my needs quickly and efficiently. Thank you.
- rolanda (2/5): - Room was ok. surroundings were horrible
- Letitia (8/5): Served it purpose - This was our second time staying here for homecoming weekend. The price is awesome, the rooms are outdated but we no problem with our room. Our toilet did run ever so often but when you sleep you don't even notice it. This room served its purpose for us. Only issue I had was after being out all day when we came back housekeeping left out curtain wide open so any and everyone can see directly into our room, which really ticked me off. It's not like we checked out or something.
- Ellen N. (8/5): no frills but excellent staff - liked it just fine, no issues, needs updated but clean, very affordable
- Alexia (6/5): Bad experience - No housekeeping while I was there
- r cortes (2/5): Uf they chance the carpet will be ok - People Sarmiento nice but the phisical conditiobs on Room ole ugy Its an ashsme
- Steve (6/5): Graduation - I would have to say for the price it was right up my alley although the room we had was in very poor shape we did get the last of the pickings where I wanted to stay for access to the grassy area for the babies now the ladies up front desk an maid service was on spot but we did not get to spend much time due to a graduation's duties to attend to. All in all was a quite stay and served its purpose.
- William (6/5): Travel Man - I enjoyed the stay and the staff was very friendly!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - not good hotel. bathroom very very tiny. bathroom floor very soft from water damage.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Really? - Basically it was just weak.
Only stay if you beed to for the night.
It needs alot if work
- Verified traveler (4/5): Looked good on outside; nice staff
- Hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful and accommodating but we requested non-smoking rooms and all three rooms we looked at reeked of smoke. So we left and went next door to the Microtel. Desk staff cheerfully refunded our money. She did tell us all rooms will be renovated within the next month. We've stayed at a number of Motel 6 hotels over the years... the price is always good. However, my son could not tolerate the cigarette smoke at this one.
- Emmanuel (2/5): - The aircon was not running well. changed room and the room they gave us was not even fix properly. Will not stay in this motel again.
- Annette (2/5): Yuck. - Bugs!!!! Awful! But the staff was fantastic. Especially the assistant manager Tiffany.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Suitable for the purpose of my trip.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Motel 6. Great as usual. - A great time. Affordable. Convenient. Clean. Classy. Comfortable. Good value for money.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Get what you pay for.. - You get what you pay for. You can feel the springs in the mattress. Carpet needed vacuuming, outside area was dirty. But rates are low,and staff was very friendly and helpful.
- Patrick (8/5): - Excellent room the price.
- Anthony (6/5): Not so bad - Great customer service very attentive and friendly. Mattresses needed a upgrade bathroom could have used some work but overall a good experience
- Rick (2/5): One of the worst hotels I have been to - I went to the room and the beds were like laying on rod iron fence with material over it. Both beds were the same. I asked for a different room and I got the same thing as far as beds went. Was not happy .. I left the and went to another hotel.
- M (4/5): very basic but cheap - sink drain was clogged up and not cleaned (hair) and had to get another room. carpets were torn in couple places. both rooms smelled like someone had smoked in there before.
- Michael (6/5): adequate budget hotel - Good for the price!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Where not to stay. - Room was smoky-requested non-smoking handicapped room.Less than clean. Holes in curtains. Burn holes in carpet. This place is a dump. Would not recommend it to anyone.
- Verified traveler (6/5): It's OK. - Misleading info on website about rooms. Thought it would be a bit larger and there was no jetted tub as advertised. Room was non smoking but smelled of smoke.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Overnight - Over-nighter. Needs work, but very friendly & helpful staff. Rooms are fine for a place to sleep. Felt safe.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Better than expected but room for improvement - Room was clean. The comforter was old and holey. I did not sleep under the covers. There were a few little bugs in the bed but no roaches. The bathroom was clean. Room had a pleasant odor. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Would stay again if they update linen.
- Alfredo (6/5): You get what you pay for - I needed a place to stay so I could attend a friend's wedding nearby. Picked this place cause it was the cheapest and right down the road from his place and the wedding venue. Check in was super easy and quick. The staff is extremely nice and very respectful of requests. But like the title says, you get what you pay for. When turning the water on at the sink, it made a very loud noise and did not stop until you turn the water off. The rooms next door did it was well. You can hear clearly when they turned the faucets on and off. Thankfully this noise only came from the sink and not the shower or toilet. Second, it's located right beside the highway. That's not a bad location as it is easy to find and easy to get back on the highway, and restaurants and shopping are just minutes away, but the noise from the traffic is loud and can make it hard to sleep at night. Third, the neighborhood isn't exactly the best. Two out of the five nights police were called out to the area. Don't know what was going on but it was concerning how close it was to the hotel. Overall it's an OK place to stay. If you need a bed to sleep on and don't want to pay a fortune, I would recommend. If you have some extra money available, I would recommend staying elsewhere.
