No - nothing that I can think of apart from the location - it is excellent unfriendly check in and out, dangerous steep stairs right outside room, tiny tiny room, shower did not work properly and only had HOT water, soap tray falling off wall, no remotes for either TV or heating unit - receptionist could have cared less and was only interested in making sure I paid the city tax. Off and on I have been staying at the Hotel Saintonge for 25 years and have recommended it countless times. No more

• Tina (5/5): - Det ligger helt perfekt midt i marais. Hotellet er hyggeligt. Personalet meget søde. Værelserne er simpelthen så små og der er meget meget lydt. Man har følelsen af, at naboen står inde på ens værelse.

• Mireille (10/5): Petrit hotel cosy, douillet et chaleureux - Etablissement intimiste de 20 chambres seulement, fort recommandable, personnel trés prévenant et souriant, déco kitch , mais chambre douillette et confortable, petit dejeuner délicieux et original, établissement pour les gourmands, car des nougats et du café sont proposés en libre service.On se sent comme à la maison. Les lieux sont un peu exigus, chambres et espaces communs, mais les locaux sont ainsi faits, on ne peut rien y changer .

The size was quite good for Paris. Our air con had a really bad smell and was incredibly loud, so we had to turn it off. The bathroom was riddled with mould. We were in the ground level room, with disabled access, which meant the shower was completely open, leaving the entire bathroom wet without any ventilation.

Le petit dejeuner était absolument formidable, avec une service délicat; Un moment de détente très " luxe abordable". il n'y a pas grand chose à ne pas apprécier; ce charmant hôtel avec son coin confiserie à l'ancienne émerveille tout hôte passant dans ce beau quartier. • Virginia (3/5): We will not be staying there again. - The location There is no sound proofing in the rooms. The walls are paper thin, the stone floors mean that you can hear people in the rooms above and next door, the iron fittings on the doors mean that it is very noisy when the people in the next door rooms go in and out of their rooms. The noise would wake us up in the night and in the morning. The rooms were too hot and we were told the temperature could not be adjusted. We had to open the window in December to get some air, as the room was stifling hot.

• Andrea (7/5): Ganz nett für einen Wochenendaufenthalt - Mitten im Marais gelegen, U-Bahn-Anbindung ist top. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich, alles unkompliziert. Alles ist extrem eng, verbaut und etwas in die Jahre gekommen. für ein Doppelzimmer sehr schmales Bett.

Comfortable bed, in room Nespresso machine for coffee is a perfect touch. It was overall an excellent location which I’d highly recommend for the Marais area as it’s near the best boutiques & restaurants. Staff at the front desk when I checked in wasn’t helpful on what room I actually paid for. There was a map of rooms and their sizes yet she wouldn’t refer to that. She mentioned I paid for one of the larger rooms yet I got the smallest. Which is hard with a lot of luggage. I find Paris hotels in this price range offer very tiny rooms and no luggage racks. Ideal for small overnight bags but when you are in France for a few weeks or maybe went shopping and need to fill your large suitcase, it’s impossible to find a room with enough space for a medium or large suitcases And lastly this room type is perfect for a solo traveler, with small luggage Not for more than one person unless you like to be in a tiny room with all Your floor space used for open suitcases.
