• NATSUO (10/5): Very good - とにかく今までに宿泊したあらゆるホテル旅館の中で最も掃除等隅々まで心尽くしが行き届いている感じで感動しました。意地悪く目が行き届き難い所もチェックしましたが完璧に掃除が行き届いていました。温泉のお湯は入ったら直ぐに温泉に入ってる気持ちになり肌にも良い感じがしました。下呂駅に最も近く温泉♨️街にもそぞろ歩きで丁度良い距離感でした。ただ温泉街そのものは少し派手さがありません。その方が好きな人には良いかも。食事も各カップル又はグループ毎に仕切られゆっくりマイペースで食事が出来ます。それも良い所です。

The location is very convenient being just a short walk from the train station. The room was colder than expected.

Les repas malheureusement, Si les repas étaient aussi beau que bon cela aurait été merveilleux, mais les repas était très peu assaisonnés et fade.(sauf le boeuf). Nous avons pu tester une demi pension dans un autre ryokan et c'était le jour et la nuit a ce niveau la.

• 小島 (7/5): 少し物足りなさを感じた。 - 対応してくれたスタッフは外国の方でしたが一生懸命に対応しようとする姿勢が感じられて気持ちよかったです。 施設が古いのは仕方ないとしても客室ドアを施錠するのにドア内側のボタンを押さないとロック出来ない形状であり外室する際は面倒だった。 また外部からのアルコール類等の持ち込みを禁じてるのに館内にアルコール類の自動販売機が設置されておらず食後から就寝まで室内で軽く飲み直したかったが出来なかったのが残念だった。

• Sandra (6/5): Nothing special about the Onsen - The hotel was close to the train station This is a very famous town for Onsens , however the Onsen of this hotel is very mediocre , small , simple , also the dinner was very mediocre with lots of cold jello type foods and only a small amount of meat with veggies in a hot pot , we were disappointed because we were looking for a better experience than that . My husband enjoyed the breakfast .

• えみこ (8/5): - 今回夫の下呂帰省の為に利用しました。お部屋は2人で十分な広さで清潔感もありました。 館内の古さはありますが掃除が行き届いているので不満はありませんでした。 私が驚いたのが温泉です。帰省の度に色々な旅館に泊まりましたが、ダントツ1番温泉がトロトロしています。本当にお肌がしっとり‼︎ これにはびっくりしました。内風呂も広く露天風呂もあり最高です。食事に関しては夜も朝も量が丁度良く美味しく頂きました。 私は少食なのでいつも料理を大分残してしまうのですが睦屋さんは丁度良い量なので残しても少しで済みます。食が細い私としては良かったです。　 それから駅に近いしお土産買うのにもコンビニ行くのにも場所的に楽だと思います。 機会かまあったらまた是非温泉に入りに来たいです。お世話になりました。

• jeanette (10/5): Amazing onsen stay in a beautiful location - It was easy to get to from the train station, and the hosts were very gracious and accepted our luggage early. The meals were amazing and the onsen were very clean and perfectly maintained.

• atsuko otake (10/5): 一人旅にぴったりの自分を静かに見つめ直すことができる 旅館です - 関内にある 調度品がどれも素敵なもので目でも楽しめる旅館 だと思います ご飯は 料理長さんのこだわりが詰まった料理で特別なものは確かにあまりないかもしれないですが 味付け や 盛り付け 料理の細かい部分に料理長さんのこだわりを感じることができます こじんまりとした旅館ではありますが 歩くのが大変な高齢者にとっては館内の移動が楽ですし スタッフの方も とても親切でコーヒーなどのサービスもあり 私はとても気に入っています よくなかったところはあまりありませんが 車で旅館の駐車場に入れる時に入るところが交差点の歩道を車で通るような形になるので そこが一番最初に行く時は分からずに戸惑うことがあるかもしれません

• Tatsuhiko (9/5): さすが下呂温泉！のんびり心も洗い流せました。 - 朝食も朝食もが品数が多く、どれも美味しくいただきました。外国人のスタッフさんが案内や配膳をしてくれましたが、お心遣いが伝わってきました。 良いお湯で、肌はもちもち、つやつやになりました。お部屋数が少ないせいか、ゆったりと入浴できました。 食事場所やお風呂場などの施設がこじんまりとまとまっていて、移動がしやすかったです。 和室のお部屋は広々していて、本当にゆったりできました。 清潔にされていましたが、施設の老朽化は感じました。特に階段や廊下、トイレの段差等は部分的に改築されていたこともあり、少し気になりました。

• HOZUMI (6/5): ロケーション最高です！ - 駅が目の前で、お土産屋さんも近くて良かったです。 日本人スタッフの温かな接客が嬉しかったです。 料理の評判が良かったからこの宿に決めたのですが、夕食時の料理が私たち家族には合わなかったです。豪華で、一生懸命作ってくださったものでしたが、心の中で「ごめんなさい」と謝りながら残すものがいくつかありました。 また、外国人スタッフが食事中に次々と空いたお皿を下げにきましたが、まだ食するものが残っているお皿の上を遮るように作業してきて、ゆっくり食べられなかった時がありました。文化の違いからのことなので仕方ないことなのでしょうが、ちょっと残念に思いました。
• KIYOE (10/5): 身体スベスベ - 従業員の方たちが、皆明るくとても感じ良かったです。 食事も手が込んでいて、濃すぎず美味しくいただけました。 お湯は無色無臭で、湯船に入ると温泉成分が、体にまとわりつくような感じで！入浴後は身体がスベスベしていました。 窓を開けたときの景色が、一つだけ残念な事です。

• helene (8/5): Ryokan avec un onsen tatouage friendly a l eau juste incroyable - L hotel est très propre. Le onsen petit mais l eau est vraiment chaude et douce plus que takayama. Les tatouages sont admis c est très appréciés. On etait attendu pour 18h. Et la dame au service du repas tres gentille. Un parking gratuit est disponible. La chambre etait tres grande est vraiment belle. Tout est a disposition yukata… On etait tres attendus a des heures fixes pour les repas. On aime prendre etre chill en vacance.

I enjoyed it but some people might have a hard time because of there’s seafood and fish. Too close to train station and the road. If you are a light sleeper like me then I would go for an another hotel. The place was old and too much of weird perfume or air spray.

• Oliver (9/5): Comfortable ryokan stay with half board meals included. - The Onsen Ryokan is close to train station, within walking distance even with 28" luggage. The rooms are spacious for 3 adults. The half board meals are satisfying and delicious. Amenities are easily accessible near Ryokan. Gero Onsen Town is nice and easy to explore around. Near park with rows of Sakura Trees and foot bath pond beside the river. Plain yukata only.

• Anonymous (10/5): Great traditional ryokan experience - Less than 2 mins stroll to the back of the train station. Surrounding has a few eateries and souvenir shops. More eateries once one crosses the river which is also less than 2 mins away from the property. Mini mart are also located across the river. Extremely convenient location especially one is catching a morning train. Despite close proximity to the train station, the property is very quiet. Checking in and out were a breeze. Staff are polite, friendly and efficient. Most staff can communicate in English. One can store luggage with the property prior to checking in and after checking out. My traditional japanese room is spacious, comfortable and clean. Futon bed was already spread out when I checked in. The room comes with the usual amenities. Breakfast and dinner were served NOT in the room but in the restaurant in an individual enclosure. Food is well presented and very delicious with a good variety. The experience was great. Though it would be better if meals were served in the room. The onsen is superb. Especially the outdoor pool in winter. Not very big though. But one should be able to have it all to oneself if one chooses to use the onsen during off peak hours.
• ?? (10/5): - 初利用させていただきました。お湯良し、料理良し、満足度も高くまた利用したいと思える旅館です。建物や部屋の建具などは使用感を感じさせるところもありますが、清掃も行き届いており、問題なし。また、それ程大きい旅館ではないのでプライベート感もあり、まったり過ごすことが出来ました。一つ改善点として挙げるならお風呂のシャワー圧が弱いと思いました。
