The accommodations were beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the atmosphere made our special week even more memorable. Coordinating a wedding group can be stressful, but the hotel staff made everything seamless and easy for us and our guests. We truly appreciated how accommodating everyone was — from check-in to checkout, the service was exceptional. Thank you, Ki and Mallory, at reception, for keeping us calm during the pre-wedding chaos. You saw to all our unexpected needs without blinking an eye. Our friends and family are still talking about how wonderful the stay was. We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate such an important occasion. melissahU6499YQ (10/5): Great hotel, Even better service - The hotel was great in a wonderful location, super clean and easy access to lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. But what really puts this over the top is the staff. They truly went above and beyond to make my stay great. They reached out personally via email before my stay began and when I responded with some questions, they wrote back immediately. They accommodated my early check in request and I arrived just after breakfast had finished but Ki ran right into the back and made me a plate with a fabulous bagel, cream cheese and a banana and another staff member helped me roll my bags into the elevator when he saw me struggling to get my key card with the food and my bags. They were really what made the stay great. I will definitely stay again when I’m back.

Mahasin A. (9/5): It was what I needed. - It is something I did not like because I grew up in the area and all those recent tall buildings destroyed what I knew about the scenery.
PRISCILLA (9/5): Excellent séjour: emplacement idéal et chambre confortable - Le petit déjeuner est correct, avec un choix varié pour tous les goûts. Il n’y a pas vraiment de changement d’un jour à l’autre, mais l’offre reste suffisante pour satisfaire aussi bien les envies salées que sucrées. Tout est présenté en format jetable, ce qui peut surprendre, mais cela semble s’inscrire dans une logique de gestion plus légère du service, assez courante au USA. La chambre est tout à fait correcte : propre, spacieuse, avec une grande salle de douche et deux grands lits king size comme demandé. Il y a également des tiroirs et une armoire permettant de ranger facilement les valises. Le ménage est fait quotidiennement et un coffre-fort est disponible dans la chambre. L’emplacement est très pratique, à proximité de plusieurs stations de métro et à environ 5 minutes à pied du pont de Brooklyn. On trouve également une caserne de pompiers et un poste de police à proximité, ce qui peut occasionner quelques bruits de sirènes. Cela reste toutefois peu dérangeant lorsqu’on connaît l’ambiance sonore d’un hôtel en plein centre de Manhattan. RAS

Our son and daugher-in-law came to chat for a few hours and they told us they could visit in our room or in the lobby. They personally welcomed them when they arrived. They were just super nice! It was kind of old, but it was clean and comfortable.

976jeannem (10/5): Superior guest service and the BEST bagels - Whoever hires and trains the staff should bottle their talent and sell it to every customer facing organization. In 30 years of belonging to Hilton Honors, I’ve seen a lot of Hilton properties, good, bad and meh. Hampton Inn Downtown Brooklyn is the BEST one I have ever stayed in. From Fletcher with his charm and superior customer service orientation greeting us upon arrival to Brian going way above and beyond by helping us out navigating the waffles at breakfast, this is without question the best guest service I have ever had at any hotel. Oh, and Pio Bagels at the breakfast. Who does that? Only a NYC hotel who knows the best bagels! The rooms are clean and well-appointed and the staff I met in the elevators and the hallway were all friendly and asked if they could help in any way. Can’t wait to return. Bravo!

Natalia (10/5): I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel - I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel — everything was wonderful. It was my last night in New York, and I asked if I could get a room with a view of Manhattan, and they kindly gave me one! The room was spacious and had everything I needed. The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that I couldn’t take my car out of the parking garage for a couple of hours without an extra charge, but I understand that this is probably typical for Manhattan.

Michael (7/5): Un hôtel pratique pour un passage de courte durée. - Chambre petite mais de bonne qualité et qui correspond au descriptif. L'emplacement de l'hôtel n'est pas optimal (arrêt de métro à 10 min à pied) et sur un axe très passant et bruyant. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas top.

The costs for a one night stay, including the various taxes and levies, were excessive. The noise, from the street and my next door neighbor, was problematic.

alexbraathen (10/5): Fantastic customer service - Stayed at Hampton Inn Downtown Brooklyn for 2 nights during my last business trip. Hotel is well located and a nice and easy option for a mid budget hotel. Rooms are okay sized for the price and the maids do a good job. Now, at the front desk you will find a woman called Ki. This woman’s authentic and genuine warmth and friendliness, along with her absolute WORLD CLASS customer service, took our stay from good to amazing! Thank you Ki. As a professional touring musician for nearly twenty years, I have stayed in my fair share of hotels. Never have I ever met this kind of genuine customer service. Make sure to be friendly with Ki, because then she will give you cutlery for your take-out when you need it.

Taylor (10/5): Good all round and I would stay there again. - Breakfast was not the usual standard that I am used to, but was not deal breaker. Room was neat and tidy and very up to date. Really enjoyed the location and room was very modern. Menu at the bar could improve though.

Guido (9/5): Nettes Personal - saubere und große Zimmer - tolle Lage in Brooklyn - Die Mitarbeiter am Check in sind wahnsinnig freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind für NYC Verhältnisse relativ groß und das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich. Jeden Morgen gab’s ein wechselndes Eierangebot und sogar Früchte waren im Angebot. Heißen Kaffee gab es zu jeder Zeit in der Lobby. Die Lage des Hotels ist super: 2 Trainstations fussläufig schnell erreichbar und die Brooklyn Bridge nur 15min zu Fuß entfernt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind ebenfalls dicht bei.
Abi (8/5): A hotel that ticks all the boxes - Breakfast started on time as stated 6am. This was perfect as we had an early flight to catch. However more options for breakfast would be nice. Towels in the room were too harsh on the skin. Maybe they need switching up
