Guest Reviews
- Paradise00849566172 (6/5): Relaxing and quite - Staff are mostly brilliant, foods decent, room are adequate, very quite in March. Temperature is nice till about 4pm then gets really cold. No entertainment on a night, freezing pool, pool table and tennis. Village is either just down or up the road but if you want activities go somewhere else
- Beardsall123 (10/5): Lovely holiday - I’m really surprised by the negative reviews but this is probably why the hotel was beyond our expectations. Really big room - bit dated but had everything we needed and comfy bed which was changed regularly. Had a toaster, kettle & fridge, no hob but not a problem for us. Grounds and pool were well maintained. Plenty of sunbeds. Nice bar/restaurant area, very relaxed. All the staff were lovely and hard working. We initially stayed for bed and breakfast which was nice and kept getting topped up. Upgraded to all inclusive for €25 per day each which is for min of 3 days and certainly got our money’s worth. No fish though and as I don’t eat meat it was a bit repetitive but had a different selection of meat dishes every day. There were a group of students but all very well behaved and polite. These places have to do what they can to survive - there weren’t many other guests there. Resort is small but very relaxing which is what we wanted. Looking forward to going back for our winter holiday next year. It was perfect for what we were looking for and excellent value for money. I think people sometimes expect too much for their money!
- Z9942QKstephenn (10/5): Peaceful retreat - Just got back from spending a lovely week at the Hylatio, from the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and made at ease.
We did have a small issue with our bathroom, which was sorted the next day, and moved into the room with a walk-in shower.
The food was always hot and had a nice choice to choose from. It was always topped up throughout the sitting.
The grounds are well maintained, and no rubbish is left around.
All the staff were friendly and helpful. The beech is a short walk from the Hylatio with a selection of bars and restaurants to choose from.
- J8996JJadrianr (2/5): Terrible Place, Don't waste your money! - Awful Place : We have stayed in better Hostels! Room less than basic! Food was like being back at school. This was not all inc, afternoon snack was a slice of stale cake!
Students everywhere, loud and rude, The place holds student conferences all the time and they take over.
We had to go out more than we wanted to get away from the place. Watching on as every health and safety and food hygiene protacole was broken.
The owner was rude and sat at the bar all day watching his staff, who we felt sorry for.
This was to celebrate a 60th birthday. We would of done better going to Fulty Towers!
Jet 2, you need to take this place off your list and reimburse your clients.
- micha_kV9162UA (2/5): AVOID AT ALL COST - go elsewhere (especially considering all inclusive). NOT WORTH THE MONEY. - AVOID AT ALL COST.
Pros: very nice people being hired, however working for minimal or under minimal wages.
Cons: Manager is a total redneck. Breakfasts are the same - we ate THE SAME food for 7d in a row because of lack of variety. I feel bad for anyone being on 'all inclusive' there - terrible experience. Coffee was the WORST i ever drank ( and I travelled almost across the whole Europe and some parts of 'wild world' aswell).
Ants being in the bathroom - manager proposed to use pesticides designed to be used outdoors IN the bathroom - with a child and pregnant woman occupying the apartment. As said - avoid - unless you love living with ants and love eating the same food over and over again.
Also have a note that this facility is quite far from EVERYWHERE - so car is definitely needed and you'll be spending a lot of time just driving to get anywhere - shop (bigger than the village one) / attractions / beach / anything fun to do with child.
AVOID. Especially with children as they'll be quickly bored - nothing to do for kids in there. ESPECIALLY AVOID IF YOU'RE PLANNING ALL INCLUSIVE - as this is definitely NOT an all-in facility at all. Bad food, dinner looked sad even despite the fact we had only b&b, 2 types of ice cream for children - NOT worth the money. Go elsewhere, pay 200$ more and just have fun - it's my honest opinion as a traveller for many years, and since 8y - traveling with my whole family. Worst accomodation I ever had - even 3rd world countries can offer better standards than Hylatio Tourist Village (and definitely nicer managers / owners).
- rmden64 (2/5): Don’t go - Never coming back
I have never been to a all-inclusive hotel that you are treated like a nuisance
We had to put up with students who where rude and just eat all the Buffett
Also there was about 30 of them
We had no access to parts of the so called hotel
We couldn’t go to quiet area as students where using it
We couldn’t sit at reception as students took over it
Same in the bar & lounge
Dining room closed so we couldn’t go in there
I didn’t pay my good money to sit on my hotel balcony
The students where doing team building exercises
Which in my mind where dangerous one was blindfolded and the other walked them round
Well that is what it was meant to be 4 young adults male found it funny to drag the girls round the pool and put them in dangerous situations which comes under the banner of a Jet2 holiday it may be a family business but it is awful please do not go all- inclusive
The hotel catered for the students
Fish fingers , chicken nuggets and meatballs
No sandwich ‘s for snacks just some left over cake at 4pm when someone remembered to put it out
We also had to put up with a private party which hotel guests didn’t know about
If you stood up a guest would take your table and chairs
The owner said you can stay but sit in the corner

- Happychapppppy (2/5): Terrible - After a 3 year gap and we returned to find the same old Hylatio but with a lick of paint on the walls and furniture
Grounds are lovely as is the pool but that’s where it ends. Bins were overflowing with rubbish and wasps swarming everywhere.
Handrails were extremely dangerous as they were loose and wobbled about
Inside the apartment the cooking hob had been removed and very little in the way of cutlery for a family of 4. Why oh why have pots and pans in the cupboards when there’s nothing to cook on….. bizzare
Food has never changed, still the same old greasy gunk. Someone has put fan things at the sides of the hot plate to scare away the flies….. useless idea.
The only good thing is the grounds and we won’t be back
- Julzpools (4/5): Weird place - it’s giving youth hostel vibes!!! - Multi generational half term holiday to Cyprus. The hotel reception was like a 1980s caravan park, the dining area like a school canteen and the bar area filled with tired tables and chairs and an owner/manager who graces the bar constantly with a face like thunder!
In fairness, we had a nice room, but if you have accessibility issues avoid as I had to carry 3 large suitcases up a narrow staircase. The grounds and pool area are well maintained and pool was very clean, but the baby pool is more like a spa pool. I can imagine there is a fight for sun beds in high season - there aren’t many and they are very uncomfortable. We were bed and breakfast so the good on offer was fine (but repetitive) and dreadful coffee! I felt awful for those who were all inclusive, tales of chicken nuggets being served for dinner and one choice of desert (Note - this isn’t an all inclusive resort despite it being listed as one by Jet2, it’s crappy full board with local alcoholic drinks).
This place is more of a hostel. During our stay we had a huge group (40+) of students doing ridiculous team building exercises. These encroached on other guests badly. Blindfolded walks around the pool, video making etc…they also made loads of noise at night. We also had a group of ‘international musicians’ (about 20 of them) turn up for second half of week learning music - it was loud and unpleasant.
I wouldn’t revisit.
- Hembrough (2/5): Buyer Beware! - Please note that the hotel currently has several signs up in the hotel about negative reviews online – it incorrectly states that it’s about another hotel……it isn’t – it’s most definitely about this establishment.
Pissouri is a wonderful location in Cyprus - not too touristy and generally quiet - lovely restaurants and a taste of Cyprus without the crowds. However....! This hotel definitely does not fall into that category.
The Good = wonderful Nepalese workers who work SO hard and genuinely know about customer service. Every Nepalese worker was outstanding at their jobs (cleaning rooms, clearing up and manning reception). The gardener who also works very hard to maintain the grounds and does an excellent job. The hotel was also very good at organizing a rental car for us which we had for 11 days.
The Bad = it would appear to be Russian roulette as to whether there will be hordes of students there from a group called 'The Erasmus Programme'. Noisy doesn't begin to cover it......! Apparently they often host these large groups of teenagers and with them comes noise. I had four nights of broken sleep having to deal with students who chose to stand by our door and have loud hands-free conversations, or play football at 3am in the morning. I spoke directly to their group leader – made no difference and then to the hotel management staff (including the owner). One of the Cypriot women working there said “they are customers too”. It was only when I pointed out that not one of them had paid to be there (EU funded trip), and that they certainly wouldn’t be thoughtful enough to leave a review that the penny eventually dropped.
It took me making enquiries about moving to get anything done. We went out for the day and the lovely Nepalese lady on reception managed to get us a new room within the hotel complex.
The complex is tired looking now with just a few touches here and there where they have tried to smarten it up. So, tired hotel and tired guests….! Buyer beware!
- J8996JJadrianr (4/5): Rubbish service - Not a 3 star Hotel but a youth Hostel. Food basic and cold no labels at all for allergies, room very basic and out dated, on a good note staff were great
- Z8646DMmartint (6/5): Holiday expectations differ - We have just returned from a week at the Hylatio and in essence we thoroughly enjoyed the Hotel, & the holiday. We were very impressed with the helpful mostly Nepalese staff who were on hand to assist with our requirements. The gardens were beautifully kept & the lovely swimming pool was clean & tidy. However un be known to us there were about 20-30 Erasmus students also staying at the Hotel. Thus with these youngsters suddenly arriving at the dining areas, it became rather noisy & busy. On the occasional entertainment evening which finished at 23.00 hrs the Erasmus students partied on noisily till very late. Not ideal. Which after numerous complaints was stopped. We believe our agenda for a holiday is clearly not the same as these Erasmus students, they would be better off in a Youth Hostel type accommodation & environment. As said had we known about Erasmus being there at the same time we would have sought somewhere else to stay. Shame as the Hylatio is a fine hotel.
- 882drewe (2/5): Avoid all inclusive! - Where do I start?
On arrival the hotel/village looked very nice, but we soon noticed a few things, the receptionist was very cold (she did warm up over time) we checked in after explaining we was all inclusive and not B&B, we was led to our room, where we had to negotiate some tight stairs with our cases that turned 180 degrees, the room was satisfactory, clean at least.
The beds are extremely hard, like sleeping on the floor, the shower required dancing in to get wet and then we lost all hot water, the complimentary soap dispenser was positioned out of reach of the shower, and it was very slippery when wet!
The food although not to my taste was tepid at best, we ate out rather than suffer the cold food.
The drinks are all local drinks and we found hard to drink, so we didn’t, even the coffee was not palatable.
The entertainment was so bad we found it funny and actually enjoyed the evening.
The owner sits at the bar most days drinking coffee or beer, and doesn’t even acknowledge the guests company.
We’ve decided to contact our provider and pay to return home early.
Although all inclusive nothing is added and everything will require payment, the signs tell you this.
I’ve tried to be fair and honest in this review, come room only and eat out.
- Yve-an-Dave (8/5): lovely and relaxing - Hotel is set in a quiet location - if you want to be in an area which is close to lots of shops and bars then this is not the place for you .
Rooms were basic and cleaned 6 out of 7 days.
Staff were all helpful and friendly special shout out to Sara at the bar who always served us with a smile and Divya on reception who was kind enough to try and fix my shoe for me .The gentleman who was responsible for cleaning our room I'm so sorry we never found out your name - always greeting us with a smile .
There was evening entertainment 3 x a week
Food was very tasty and we were able to find something to eat at every meal.
Met some lovely people during our 2 week stay
The only thing that I found annoying was the sunbed hoggers - it never mattered what time you came out they all had towels on .
- DavidM904 (8/5): Good for the money chilled out escape!! - We stayed for 10 nights at this 3 star typical Cypriot holiday village and had a great time. Yes, it is a ‘budget’ place but we found it worthy of our 4 star rating.
We were all inclusive and were happy with the choices available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. No complaints about the beer, wine or spirits either!!
The village only has around 65 or so rooms , ours was a one bedroom apartment, duplex style. Downstairs there was a kitchen area as this village offers self catering and half board, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery and a fridge ( which was empty so no mini bar). Also there was a table and 4 chairs and a sofa bed. The patio was lovely with a nice Mountain View.
Upstairs there was 2 single beds joined with decent wardrobe/cupboard space, bathroom with a walk in shower and toilet.
There was also a small veranda. Both rooms had good remote controlled air conditioning.
There was no tv, but this wasn’t missed by us as usually you can only get news orientated English channels, and we had to ask at reception for a hair dryer.
The village wasn’t full when we went so the wasn’t a problem with sun beds, the pool was nice and there was never any queues at the bar!!
All the staff were very friendly and the entertainment was good , there was live music on 2 nights and a Cypriot night on the Thursday.
Our room was cleaned 6 days a week , beach towel hire was 10 euros and it was 3 euros a night for the room safe.
Pissouri bay was a 10 minute stroll away, rather stony but pleasant.
All in all we had a thoroughly chilled out time with perfect weather and will be returning next year!
- Rhona61 (4/5): Shouldn't be described as All Inclusive or a hotel as it's neither. Just don't go - Lovely exterior
Could do with a serious upgrade
Lovely staff from Nepal
Very easy journey with private return transfer
The hotel was quite clean
The rooms are very basic
Very quiet with a pebble beach not far from the hotel
The pebble beach is ok but take some beach shoes as the pebbles are painful
As for the hotel owner, he is very rude and told me, even though it was on my booking, he couldn't cater to my dietary requirements, I'm Coeliac, none of the food was labelled with any allergens and the desserts weren't labelled at all so no one knew what they were until they tried them which is something I can't risk doing
The Jet2 Rep spoke with the owner and came back saying the owner is very rude and told him that he can't cater to Cecilia's
There's a sign in reception that says they've received bad reviews but it's done in error and people have got the wrong hotel. They haven't got the wrong hotel, this should never be described as All Inclusive or a hotel, as it isn't. It should be listed as apartments.
Take your own towels as you're only provided with one hand and one bath towel. If you want more, you have to pay. If you want the sheets changed more than they do, which isn't often, you have to pay. If you want to use the safe, you have to pay. The drinks choices are limited and very cheap so you may need to have them mixed with lemonade. It seemed like it was more about how the owner could make more money. Very disappointed
The owner doesn't care, and I would not recommend this place, it's not a hotel, to anyone
Overall, the exterior looks lovely but inside is another story, very , very basic rooms. No TV etc. When you take the key out of the slot to leave the room, all power goes off so with the baby's bottles in the fridge, it causes issues and there's no way around ias you only get one key, no matter how many people are in the apartment
Just don't go there and save yourself the hassle of all this and go somewhere else
- PerA370 (8/5): We are always coming back - This hotel with its small buildings in the big, juicy garden is a jewel! Friendly staff, comfortable beds, good buffét breakfast, a beautiful pool and friendly prices makes us come back every year, often several times. Highly recommended!
- Averil (10/5): - Great location, friendly staff, very clean and well looked after.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Hylatio Tourist Village Family vacation 5 nights -
Family vacation 5 nights
We book for all include package and it was a very good deal ( 3 meals a day , Selection of drinks and alcohol, ice cream)
Wonderful and welcoming staff, Comfortable pool for children and adults.
Lots of wasps everywhere including the dining and pool areas (Allergic to wasps, beware)
A few minutes’ walk from the beach and grocery store
Great family vacation
- tracyhR563IR (8/5): Relaxing holiday - We had a great week away. The staff are amazing! So helpful and friendly. Shout out to the girls in bar/restaurant area that made our time special and a massive thanks to the receptionist, who on seeing how upset we were that another guest had taken our hire car from the company (the guy didn’t check for our name and room number when dropping off), called the local taxi company so we could still go to Paphos for the day. Taxi company are fantastic. Always ask reception to book your taxi.
The room though basic, was cleaned everyday by cheerful cleaners.
The food was so lovely that we ate there every night. Buffet that comes part of all inclusive but can be paid for at lunch and dinner was different each day and great for our 9 yr old to sample small bit of everything. Breakfast is both English (fry up) and continental which was lovely.
As others have said, the sun beds are all gone very early but some become free late afternoon.
The singers on Saturday and Monday are really good.
We would definitely love to go back!
- MHallFamily (8/5): Great little place - This is a great little place. The accommodation is basic but was everything we needed - when it stays studio apartment there isn’t enough facilities for self catering so just be prepared for that. It is very well kept and very clean and tidy with pretty gardens. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Bar costs are reasonable. It’s a short walk into Pissouri Bay where you’ll find several places to eat. It’s a quiet location so you may want to hire a car depending how long you stay. Pissouri village has more tavernas and is a taxi ride away €10 each way. The only thing I will criticise about this pool is the ridiculous pool bed situation. There just aren’t enough beds, and people seem to put their towels out the night before or the VERY early hours of the morning. I was there at 7am one day and all the beds had gone, but no one was actually on the beds until much later in the day (just reserved with towels). It’s crazy. Having said that, I would definitely recommend this place and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
- lynnsA4491IQ (6/5): Budget Value Hotel - A pleasant holiday taken at Hylatio for 11 nights on an all inclusive basis. Arrived late on the first day, so all inclusive package did not start for meals just drinks, then on the last day after breakfast all inclusive ended at 11am on check out and we didn't get collected for the airport until 6pm, hardly an all inclusive package. However, staff at this hotel were outstanding couldn't do enough for you, excellent service. No air conditioning in public areas.
- tanyyj2025 (10/5): I absolutely loved the hotel and cried that I had to leave! - I absolutely adored the hotel and had a fantastic stay here! Staff were so friendly and kind around the hotel and was very clean, the family rooms are very spacious and has a door to separate 2 bedrooms if in a family room. On the outside of all rooms there were small botanical gardens which were well maintained and was a pretty view.
The food was delicious here, they had a great variety and desserts were always different, they always had fresh chopped food and some nights had themes like Greek night where they had authentic food and entertainment.
The bar has a great selection of drinks were there are also mocktails to enjoy not just alcoholic drinks, they were very flavoursome and good quality with gorgeous colours added.
The swimming pool was very spacious but busy and there was a small baby pool which was on the side and cute.
The beach walk is not to far away is only 10 minute walk and the beach is very clean with many sun beds, although there were many rocks at the front once you get passed and into the sea it’s very sandy and soft, there are many things to offer on the beach too like jet skiing which was a fun experience.
Overall really loved it here and didn’t want to leave this hotel!
- X3646AShelenw (10/5): Lovely beautiful hotel - A lovely family run hotel who go above and beyond to make you welcome. Just a short 10 minute stroll to the beach, it is pebbly so take beach shoes if you don’t like walking on the stones. We hired a car from Zoe down the road to explore the island a bit more as the buses are hit and miss. Entertainment now and then and we always had a good sing along with the singers. Owners are out and about during the day/evening and mingle with us tourists. The bar staff are exceptional and are always very attentive and even give you table service which is very rare in an all inclusive. If you are thinking of staying at his hotel then don’t hesitate, get it booked.
- E5641GYstephanieb (10/5): Family Get together - This was our 4th year visiting and this time we met up with family from Kent and Holland and made it a big family get together as I knew they would love the place just as much as us. As always the hotel has the friendliest and most helpful staff. The owners are always present and also very warm and accommodating to make sure the hotel has the family feel. The food was great (I don’t know how the chefs do it in the heat). The housekeeping staff were just amazing and friendly as was the reception team and the bar staff. Rooms have everything you require. We were all inclusive so didn’t really use anything in the kitchen area except the kettle. Pissouri is a hidden gem and if you don’t fancy a pool day there are always sunbeds available on the beach which is a ten minute walk and for the warm walk back a pit stop at The Baytree bar helps cool you down. The old town on an even at the weekends gives you the traditional Cypriot vibe with the chance to have some rest bite from the heat too. Would defo recommend hiring a car for a few days and the hotel can even sort this out so the hire car company come to you. If you want a peaceful holiday and to relax then this for sure is the place to visit.
- 430melvynh (2/5): Terrible Experience at out dated apartments - Hylatio Review
We have stayed in the Hylatio several times over the past 20 years and we have seen it go from what was relatively good to it being very tired and out of touch today.
Nothing has changed in that time except for a lick of paint on the tables and chairs. The pool and the grounds are still the same but still very nice. It gives off a great holiday experience but over hanging foliage is everywhere.
We booked a “self catering holiday” with JET2 but on arrival there was no hob/cooker!!!!! How were we supposed to feed two youngsters at 11 o’clock at night? What a joke! Can Jet2 and The Hylatio not speak to each other and provide each other with the correct information.
Dig a little deeper into the grounds, apartments and you will see many minor discrepancies.
Sunday is very much a family day in Cyprus and book your sun beds quick. Cypriot families do converge at the Hylatio.
Bins scattered about the apartments are only big enough for 2 pizza boxes. The chinks in the armour are many.
1. The hand railings at the entrance to reception is very wobbly and quite unnerving for some.
2. No rail to get in and out of the paddling pool for youngsters and parents carrying babies. One of many health & safety issues.
3. The railings around the grounds are also very wobbly and of no use to a man elderly or disabled person. Or as some might say “an accident waiting to happen”
4. Over flowing bin with swarms of flies and wasps
5. Who puts a large bin next to a children’s paddling pool with wasps everywhere?
6. The place is not disabled friendly. Far too many steps, a disabled toilet in reception and you have to go all the way round to get to it.
Sadly two elderly ladies fell whilst negotiating 3 steps to the bar from the pool, on two separate occasions. One unfortunately broke her hip the day before she was due to fly out. If a proper and secure hand rail had been installed, it might have just saved someone from being hospitalised. Another health and safety issue
Our apartment was about 300m from the main building/reception. On the fringes of the site and near the main road. Slightly noisy in the evenings and early mornings with staff coming and going from the bay. There are fire instructions on the front door and a fire blanket but, it lacks a half decent information folder.
If you opt to go all inclusive, a cost of an extra €25 per person per day. I’ve spoken to several families and they were not happy about the quality of the food……. That’s why we always went out to the bay/village for our meals.
There is a kettle, toaster and a rusty fridge(at the bottom). To be honest, it’s probably the same one as when the place first opened. Don’t put medicines or fruit near the top, as they freeze from the mini freezer compartment. Please check the temperature before you use it. Yes it’s looking very tired and it’s very much same old, same old….
Beds are two singles pushed together, the mattresses are hard, obviously cheap, mass produced rubbish. Theres also two completely useless poles sticking out of the wall above the headboard. My daughter’s apartment had the same but with bedside lights attached. What is going on here. See pictures
There are spare pillows and duvets in the wardrobe. That’s another point, the duvets/pillows take up about 1/4 of the cupboard space. So use the sofa bed as we did.
There’s a dressing table with mirror and a coffee table, dining table and four chairs. Cutlery is quite sparse but adequate to carve up a pizza. However, as there is no hob, I must question, “why are the management providing you with pots and pans in the cupboard”…. It just doesn’t make sense. Lastly why is there a dining table with chairs taking up space when you cannot cook anything and sit down to eat it.
I also noticed that an apartment for 3 people only had 2 plates, 2 glasses and cutlery. Come on, if the room is for 3 then accommodate 3!!!
The bathroom has a half size bath with a shower. The shower head had once been higher up but due to use/damage, it’s now much lower down. The water is just over tepid at 5pm, even when it’s 30+ degrees outside. The floor of the bath is slippery and there are no “safe” handles to grab hold of.
1. The patio doors are as secure as a chocolate fire guard, anyone could break in, yet they charge you €3 per day to use their safes.
2. The bath fills up with water whilst having a shower. I know the pipe work is narrow but put some Mr Muscle down to unclog the hairs
The pool is great, nice size , accommodates most guests with sun loungers. It’s a great way to cool down in the midday sun. The downside is that you have to be up early in the morning to beat the “loungers scroungers”. They are out there first thing with their towels and it’s comical to watch, shuffling the loungers around for the best sun spot. It’s pathetic!
Some have even been seen to jump in their hire cars and go out for half the day.
One family took up six loungers and three tables every day at 7 am, it was a sea of black/white striped towels.
Breakfast is not the best of stuff but it’s edible. Remember , “You” are not getting Michelin Star food here. This is a cheap buffet breakfast consisting of locally produced pastries, cereals, continental selection, fried breakfast with streaky bacon and hot dogs etc. Wash it all down with a coffee/tea or a fruit juice, both from a machine. Coffee was an extremely watery and dished up in small cups, not mugs.
Someone has put soft fans on the corners of the hot plate to keep the flies away. Keep kids away from them as there is the potential of an eye injury. Yet another health & safety issue
Wi-Fi, yes it’s here with a big But! The closer you are to reception, the better it is, which we were not. I was unlucky to get a constantly dropping connection most days. One day at 8pm, in the room we were hitting a best speed of 0.6 mpbs download and 0.5 upload. In the bar it was 7mbps download and I got 10 mbps upload.
Thursday nights and it Cyprus Night at the bar area, get in early for a table. It’s another case of same old, same old. Once you have seen one, you’ve seen them all. Monday night and a lady singer was belting them out.
The staff are all so very nice and helpful. However, the owners need to go on a customer services course and learn how to smile and not be so bloody miserable. The son, sits at reception, never raises his head and never speaks. When he does, he is so ignorant. A smile doesn’t cost you anything
If you want a low budget holiday with clean and serviceable apartments, located in lovely grounds then yes, it’s ideal. For families with young kids it’s great but there’s not much in the way of a children’s play area anymore, it’s the pool or nothing.
Would I go back…. Never! As I would say, “you can’t polish a turd”
- xanderbov (10/5): Excellent and relaxing - The Hylton is a small yet welcoming holiday village. The staff work Tremendously hard and are very friendly. The owners are on site everyday and are very social and you can see how proud of their business. The grounds are amazing surrounded by local plants and flora, they grow their own fruit and herbs on the site. Accommodation was fantastic for our needs and the location was a great base for exploring Cyprus in between days at the pool or the beach. Pissouri bay is a 10 minute walk offers a small supermarket and some bars and some good restaurants. 10 € to get a taxi up into the village great restaurants The Hideaway and the bunch of Grapes are so worthy of a visit.
Our superior rooms were clean and spacious and the bathrooms were spotless. The balcony gave us great views of the grounds and surrounding hills.
Car hire is a must as they is no bus service. Definetley will return to the Hylatio for a warm welcome and another beautiful stay.

- karenrF8415PI (10/5): Excellent little Gem of a place - Fabulous little gem of a place. Clean, tidy. Air con works like a dream for July in Cyprus. We've had a fabulous 10 nights stay as a family of 5. 2 adults. 17yr, 13yr, 9yrs old. We have a 1 bedroom split accommodation. Little kitchen area, table and chairs. Terrace from lounge and balcony from bedroom.. hotel staff could not to more friendly. Pool area is clean and tidy. Few wasps about but thats nature.... bar has entertainment on few times a week. Which is nice to listen to. Beach 10mins max walk. We booked b&b, restaurant also 10mins walk away or grab a taxi up to pissuri village which is the most impressive little village with bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend this place for some peace and quiet relaxing time.
- colinbL611OB (10/5): Family holiday 2025 - Into our second week the full experience is brilliant all. Staff are lovely and friendly a big shout out to Sunina very good and hard working always has a smile will defo be back the Barraclough family
- C5989MCkellyb (10/5): Fab holiday in Sunny Cyprus - On our second week at Hylatio Tourist Village. Lovely little hotel near to restaurants, shops and the beach. We are all inclusive and have found the food really good, hot and plenty of variation. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the staff are really helpful and friendly. Special recognition to Sunina who is lovely, very polite and never stops x
- 493helenh (10/5): Perfect Holiday - This place is a little hidden gem!! It is spotlessly clean, the grounds are impeccably kept, the pool area is beautiful and the staff are really friendly and extremely helpful. I first visited for three nights in May with my daughters and have just spent 9 nights there with my husband. Both times I stayed in an apartment which is really a little villa.
The accommodation is spacious and comfortable with everything you need for a lovely holiday. The included breakfast had more than enough to choose from and you could easily vary what you had each day.
I would have no problem recommending Hylatio Tourist Village and will definitely be going back!!
- Nomad57237306311 (10/5): John davies from Bolton ,First class service food and accommodation - I'm writing this review while I'm still here , this is the most friendly hotel iv ever stopped In.the staff are amazing nothing isn't to much trouble ,the food is very good as well .if your looking for a relaxing holiday not much here if you like it bouncing. Because it's a small complex you tend to get to know everyone From all over Europe love this place definitely will be back .
- KH53CCE (10/5): Second Year at Hylatio - I had another enjoyable two-week stay at Hylatio. We chose bed and breakfast accommodation as we did the previous year, but decided to upgrade to an all-inclusive package for the final three days. I found the all-inclusive menu to be excellent and plan to opt for this again next year, though I prefer to dine out during most of my stay.
The staff were again very attentive, with some team members remembering us from last year, which was a very pleasant surprise. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience.
Prior to our arrival, I contacted the hotel to request a ground-floor apartment due to mobility issues. They asked me to send a reminder email a week beforehand. Upon arrival, I was pleased to be assigned a ground-floor apartment with a walk-in shower, which was very comfortable. Additionally, I appreciated being able to use the accessible toilet in the main foyer, as navigating stairs to the main toilets would have been difficult.
This year, the entertainment was increased and of a high standard, featuring singers covering a variety of music genres.
While peak days saw some busyness during changeover times, there were always sunbeds available on the lawn. It would help if guests reserved sunbeds after 6 a.m. and used them responsibly to prevent them from being left unused for extended periods.
The village’s bars and restaurants are charming, with consistently delicious food at reasonable prices, ensuring visitors never feel overcharged.
The beach remains lovely, and we spent much of our time there. Blue loungers are affordably priced.
Overall, it was another fantastic holiday, and I look forward to returning next year. I find this place to be incredibly relaxing and just what I need to de-stress.
- Aliz (8/5): - Great holiday with friends. Internet connection was not really good but apart from that it was a nice place to stay.
- Francis (10/5): - Love this place.
- Z3308PCkeithw (4/5): Not great - NO TENNIS COURT!! It is derelict!!
Pool and gardens nice, room itself was VERY basic, not even a TV!! Outside light not working, other minor ‘niggling’ issues!
Staff very friendly and helpful. Food okay, but no change or variety during a fourteen night stay. Tinned fruit only at breakfast and very ‘cheap’ and tasteless bread!!
- andrewgQ6416KW (8/5): Honest Review - Like a previous contributor I contacted jet 2 re the bad reviews and wanted to change accommodation, but so glad we didn’t! Had a lovely chill out week here! Accommodation was basic but spacious, air con was good and the rooms were cleaned daily! Towels and bedding changed once during the week! The grounds are beautiful and well kept, flowers gorgeous at this time of the year! Pool area was lovely no problem getting a sunbed but would imagine in high season it may be more difficult! Staff were lovely, mainly Nepalese! They went out of their way to look after you and make you feel welcome as did the owner’s family! We were all inclusive, the drinks very good, cocktails too, wine and lovely spicy bloody Mary’s!!! The food was good too! Lovely salads, fresh veg! Grilled meats, pasta, chicken, fish! Yes there were chicken nuggets, fish fingers and chips but they have to cater for children too! Always plenty of food regularly replenished! No entertainment at night but it was low season, think it starts in May! For the price we paid we were more than satisfied bearing in mind it’s a 3 star accommodation! I’d certainly consider going again particularly in low season! The only thing that would put me off is the summer camps they host for students! Think Jet 2 should consider not selling those dates when the summer camps are on, as it would not be the quiet oasis it’s advertised to be on their website!
- 111paulac (10/5): What a lovely place. - What a lovely place!!! Great stay, will definitely be back.
I was really anxious having read some of the reviews just as we were due to stay here, so much so, I actually contacted Jet2 to try to change our accommodation, so glad I didn't.
Staff were so helpful and friendly, welcomed us when we arrived, gave us some idea of the local area and helped us organise a hire car at a really good rate, €35 per day, even told us best place to fill up. I have never hired a car abroad before but as they drive on the same side as here so went for it.
Whole place was kept constantly clean and tidy, plenty of sun loungers or seats in more shaded area by the bar if you preferred. Lovely pool and paddling pool, even had some inflatables etc to use and return.
The food was lovely with lots of choice for all palettes and tastes and was different each night.
Room was spacious, beds comfortable and room was cleaned every day, not just a brush and wipe over, proper clean.
It is not in a really busy area which was fine for us, there is a lovely bay not too far and a few shops and restaurants.
There wasn't entertainment why we were there which again was fine for us but apparently there is at busy times of the season.
As I said hired a car so was able to get out and about and venture a bit further so went to Paphos a few times which was lovely, lots to see, shops, restaurants etc and loads of free parking which was a bonus. Did drive to Limassol but was so busy just drove through and turned around.
We do not normally go to the same place twice but will definitely stay here again if we return to Cyprus.
Big thank you to all of the staff and to the owners for providing us with a lovely base for our holiday.
- K5564YXmichaelh (8/5): Still here. - Brought the bad reviews re students to Jet2 customer service and asked if we could change hotels. After looking at the reviews they said we would have to forfeit 90% of what we had already paid and rebook. Same plane, same seats, all gone. They did offer us a free meal outbound. So told them to foxtrot Oscar and carried on with our original booking.
Arrived to a quiet Hylatio. Just as we remembered it from a few years ago. Sunny balcony in block 6. Comfy beds, good fridge. Ac was a bit battered, but working and with clean filters. Shower head was useless but I swapped it with one from the pool toilets. Sorted.
B&B breakfast was OK, food a bit cold at time and nobody wants a cold fried egg. Juice and coffee good.
Staff in the restaurant, bar and cleaning the rooms all superb and on the ball.
Nice relaxing time.
- Z2673RRgeorgel (10/5): I love Hylatio tourist village - This was my fifth visit to Hylatio and I have fallen in love with this resort. Everything about this place is amazing from the food to the staff to the location the surroundings everything and I very highly recommend Hylatio to all.
Looking forward to my next visit later in the year.
- W5020HVmariav (10/5): A small paradise - Value for money place. Friendly staff and owners, really felt welcomed and part of the family.
Food tasty and plenty of options with a variety of dishes to choose from. Even though we were All Inclusive we were tempted to order and pay extra from A la Carte menu.
Will definitely be back again and again as we feel we found a small paradise
- nicosv476 (10/5): Excellent place no matter what - Value for money no matter what others are saying.
Can’t believe the last few comments as I was also there enjoying every moment with those students.
Food excellent, staff even better and definitely value for money, really wondering how can they make it being the cheapest at such high quality in the area
- FellowTraveler234472 (2/5): Russian roulette holiday hotel - If you don't like playing Russian roulette when booking a holiday - don't book here.
At certain times of the year the hotel acts as a 'summer' school for foreign students - over 100 of them when I was there.
Both the hotel and my travel company referred to it as a 'relaxing' hotel - it is not with 100+ teenagers!
The noise in the dining room was horrendous; one student thought it was acceptable to shout on her phone in order to be heard whilst her tutors ignored this and other unacceptable behaviour. One student repeatedly vaped in the dining room but was never chastised.
One night, they ran out of food items which were eventually replaced with meatballs and fish fingers: perhaps ok for students but not for holiday makers.
I witnessed holidaymakers wheel their suitcases into the hotel one day and leave the next to enjoy their holiday elsewhere. I now regret not having done the same.
I was told by hotel staff that they have more students booked in for later this year but I don't know when. As I say, it's like playing Russian roulette when booking this hotel which is very sad. I stayed at this hotel several years ago, before the summer schools were started, and it was a relaxing holiday. I will never stay at this hotel again.
- David (10/5): - Really nice property, the pool area with bar and lounge area is excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Large rooms with kitchenette (although no stove or microwave), are clean and comfortable and have a balcony with chairs and table. On-site coin-operated laundry.
- R4952JWphilips (2/5): Poor Experience - Advertised as a quite, relaxing location with home cooked food by the tour operator and owners. We paid for all inclusive and the home cooked food consisted mainly of things such as fish fingers, chicken nuggets, meatballs and tinned veg. The hotel was overrun with approx 150+ teenagers who were on a hospitality course. Being teenagers they were noisy, rowdy and overtook the hotel. There was a lack of supervision from their teachers which resulted in them having parties until the early hours of the morning, the restaurant was a canteen and the foyer area was turned into a classroom. It took two days to see a rep and the only response was that the tour operator only books the rooms and accountable for what was going on. If we wanted to move (which a number of couples did) to another hotel we would have to pay a £50 admin fee, the cost of the transfer and any upgrade of hotel.
A number of couples had been numerous times but commented they wouldn't go back.
If you like to explore the local area you will need to hire a car as the busses are limited and the last busses back are at 14.30.
- anne19582013 (2/5): Never again - We stayed in this hotel a few years ago and enjoyed it , a quiet friendly hotel with lovely staff so we had no hesitation to book again. Oh dear our experience this time had no comparison to our last visit. The food was very poor , good salads but the rest was processed , tinned or frozen foods . Breakfast was good but when you add approximately 120 Italian students into the mix the whole eating experience becomes like eating in a very noisy school dining hall. The hotel sectioned off a large area of the lounge to create a classroom and so there was very limited indoor seating left and as the bar was outside, too cold to sit outside in the evenings, many guests just went back to there rooms in the evening. The hotel staff were lovely , friendly and helpful. I understand the business wanting to fill the hotel with guests but the clash between mature people wanting a quiet holiday and students wanting to enjoy themselves just does not mix. I think Jet2 should have been aware of this and told guests prior to them booking this hotel.
So disappointed that our well earned holiday was not as expected and I’m sorry to say we will not return to this hotel again.
- Compass06632692630 (2/5): Avoid like the plaque - Absolute shambles, food disgusting if you managed to get any, no heating very cold at night, no tv, it seemed like a Italian student campus, wild, bad mannered, drunk, ate everything in sight up all night partying and the management and owner did nothing
- Billybuntet (2/5): Not for tourists - I agree with everything Vincent Coates says. This is not a tourist village. It’s a borstal correction centre. When one lot move out another lot move in.
These are not polite kids. These are not quiet kids. Bring earplugs if you want sleep. Top tip. Do not come here.
- Passenger11194442018 (4/5): Do not bother staying here - Stayed for 1 week, so pleased we hired a car
Room, grounds immaculate.
We booked fully inclusive what a waste, we had 1 breakfast the food here is disgusting you could tell even the staff were embarassed by it all inclusive drinks we had 1 pint again disgusting,
Staff ok nothing special, internet very poor, TV doesnt work only there for show.
Place when we stayed was like a Borstal youth club, kids studying in the reception must have been some kinda course then just ran a mock in the place, we booked via jet 2 unable to contact reps.
So not recommended at all lots of better places to stayed. Do not stay here
- Sarah9075 (10/5): Loved every minute of our happy Hylatio holiday! - Had a lovely stay on this resort.
We were lucky to have a peaceful, chilled, relaxing time as we visited in November. We loved it, and would return out of season. In season, it would be too busy for us.
Out of season, there were always sunbeds. As it was winter, only a handful of loungers were in the sun by about 230pm then the sun went totally by about 330pm. You can then go to the beach for the last rays. It was mild when we went, so not for the sun worshippers late season.
The bar and terrace area outside were great.
Music most of the day which was perfect volume and vibe.
Lovely to sit outside for breakfast, bit too cool for dinner outside in Nov.
We had b and b but you can add all inclusive for 25 Euros a day which is a great deal (minimum 3 days) We were out and about for a couple of days so it wasn’t worth it for us. The food looked and smelt good. The breakfast was a good variety of hot with bacon, eggs, beans, sausages etc, plus porridge, fruit, cereals, cold meats and cheese plus juice and coffees.
People moaning about it being the same, maybe should just vary day to day and not load up the same every morning.
Nice lounge area with sofas and book case to chill in.
We ate once for dinner in the hotel restaurant, delicious Moussaka.
Cocktails lovely but lethal lol.
Local beer tasty and reasonably priced.
The staff were very friendly.
Lots of cats on the resort, we actually went from non cat-lovers, to cat lovers. They were really cool and if you shooed them they went away.
The grounds were beautiful. Top marks to the staff for looking after it so well. It wouldn’t have had the same feel without the gorgeous foliage.
The location is great. Not too far from the bay shops and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet.
The room was great. Yes it’s tired but it was clean, and every day except one, housekeeping came in and changed bins and made beds. They were great.
We had asked to be away from the pool as we like a quiet area but they put us right behind it. Fortunately it was very quiet as only a third full. Lovely terrace to sit on with airer.
We didn’t cook, but cooking utensils were limited. You have to ask for a hot plate to cook on.
Nice pagoda to sit under but the sofas need to be replaced. Maybe they do this once the season finishes. We found the beds comfortable.
We walked to the village which was pretty and a square where we ate at O Krakas taverna which was lovely.
In the bay, we ate at Coast (overpriced drinks), Kastro (lovely vibe, great food, reasonable), Baytree bar (great food, I wouldn’t go if the football was on as too many screens lol), Vineleaf (traditional tasty food, reasonably priced), Captains Bay (beach location, lovely setting). Local shop expensive. We hired a car from Perry down the road, which was reasonable. Don’t expect bells and whistles, but you’re getting a good price so who cares.
We visited Paphos, not our cup of tea. But the prom is nice with restaurants etc and probably better for nightlife than Pissouri. Bit too busy and built up but not loads of high rises like Benidorm etc.
We had a great holiday at Hylatio. We’d return either May or September.
Pissouri bay is lovely. Recommend joining the Pissouri group on Facebook for info and advice.
Enjoy!!!
- janiceb731 (6/5): Relaxing weeks break - family holiday we had 3 rooms all were large light and airy with nice balconies/terrace. Good shower no problems with pressure. grounds beautiful and well kept. Excellent choice at breakfast we were all inclusive unfortunately lunch and dinner had limited choice especially for the 16 year old with us after eating just rice and salad for a couple of meals we had several meals out. Apart from main meals there were no snacks or anything between meals apart from ice cream which was always banana Drinks choice great and quality very good. Pool freezing fortunately sea only 10 minute walk away and was warm enough to swim.
while we were there a seminar for students was being held and they did tend to take over the whole complex at times. all in all we had a nice relaxing break
- michellewL6139HV (8/5): A pretty, relaxing holiday destination. - I have just come back from Hylatio Tourist Village in Pissouri Cyprus after a week with my sister. I was pleasantly surprised with our accommodation. We always book a room each and found that we had our own 2 level little houses which would easily accommodate a family of 4. Although basic they were very clean. The staff especially Christian are very helpful and friendly. We opted for all-inclusive and the food was nice with a varied menu. The only downside was the arrival of alot of teenagers on the 5th day when our peaceful, relaxing vacation became quite a bit louder. I would still definitely recommend the Hylatio. It is nicely situated just a 10 minute stroll to the beach.
- 158gildab (4/5): Nothing to do or of interest in Pissouri Bay. Spent a small fortune on excursions. - The hotel is set in very pretty gardens and our studio was spacious. Unfortunately you would have to be 7ft tall to reach the hangers in the wardrobe. Friendly staff. Sadly the food let the holiday down. Same dishes served several times over the ten days' stay. Lacked flavour, imagination and variety, particularly lunch and dinner. Breakfast was the best meal of the day.
- Jess (8/5): - Enjoyed our stay here. Some property issues (fridge broken but they replaced it the next month t, air conditioning unit leaking) but the room was nice and the pool very clean. Would have been difficult to get a sun lounger if it had been any fuller. Food on site was better than expected. Bizarrely wouldn’t give us two keys for the room which is odd when there is more than one of you and you might want to go off and do different things!
- John (10/5): Great 10/10 - Always a great welcome from a great team at a great property. Weather fantastic
- claire (10/5): - Lovely hotel complex, nice pool and friendly staff. Quick walk to bars and beach.
- Michael (8/5): - Staff were excellent
- Anne (10/5): Super !!!! - Personnel adorable
- John (10/5): Always Great - Always a great friendly fun value for money stay. Good atmosphere even at this end of the season. See you in the spring.
- John (10/5): A gem - Always a great stay with Mr Vlad and Miss Maroula at this fantastic gem in PIssouri Bay. Great value & fun.
- John (10/5): Fantastic set up - Great short stay with the excellent team at Hylatio - gardens, pool, location, and atmosphere fantastic. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Thank you Mr. Vlad & team.
- Rickard (6/5): Ok for a day - Ok apartment. Nice pool, Good for kids to play.
Food was terrible, we only had breakfast, and were lucky that we dident take all inclusive!
I can not recomend it.
- Teresa (10/5): another fabulous break at the Hylatio - Lovely family run holiday village. Low rise apartments in beautiful garden setting around a pool. The rooms and gardens are very well maintained. There is an excellent choice of hot and cold buffet options at breakfast - we were only B&B so I can't comment about the lunch and dinner options. We have a 2 storey accomodation with a double sofa bed on the ground floor living area and a double bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. Both the ground and first floor had a balcony/terrace. We have stayed here a few times now and keep coming back as we are made to feel very welcome. We love it here
- Verified traveler (8/5): - My family (husband, wife, and two teenagers) had a truly memorable time at Hylatio Tourist Village in August. We loved the place, the food, the staff, the close proximity to the beach and shops. True, no shampoos and such were provided but it's very easy to buy these basic items from a shop not too far away or just bring them with you. There was even a shelf full of books for us. The only criticism we have is concerning the housekeeping. During our one-week stay, the housekeeper only came twice. One time she made up one bed and left the others unmade and the other time, she just put some new towels on the beds and that's it. I would have liked to see the bathroom cleaned and the floor swept at the very least (I finally gave up waiting and did them myself). But judging from other reviews that say that they had daily cleaning sessions, I suspect that it was the housekeeper assigned to our room who simply didn't feel up to it. I would often spot her near our room talking endlessly on the phone. One time she left two huge bags of dirty towels in front of our door almost tripping us and just forgot about them I guess for the entire day. But other than that, we loved Hylatio and will certainly be going back.
- Teresa (10/5): Great family break - This was our 3rd stay here and I cannot rate it highly enough.
The rooms are a good sized, with decent kitchen equipment and plenty of towels. The pool is lovely and clean with plenty of loungers. The gardens and grounds are lovely and really well looked after.
The breakfast buffet has a good range of hot and cold choices.
We love it here and will be back soon
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Basic facilities, however great value for money. Loved the garden and the rooms was very big. Breakfast could be improved, especially coffee.
- Tanja (8/5): Great hotel - Very friendly hotel. The pool was great excellent service. Only down side was that the beds were very very hard. Otherwise no complaints and we would stay again.
- Teresa (10/5): Lovely weekend break - We had a fantastic weekend stay here. We had a duplex apartment overlooking the pool which was beautifully clean and spacious. The kids were on a sofa bed downstairs and we were upstairs in the bedroom. The gardens were so lovely and looked after and the shaded seating area was a lovely touch if you wanted some shade in the afternoon. Due to lack of customers due to COVID they weren't offering a breakfast buffet but instead cooked whatever you wanted to order which meant it was all lovely and fresh, with cereal, juices, tea and coffee available for you to help yourself. We didn't try the bar food as we had already booked tables in local restaurants, but the menu looked nice and varied and good value for money. We had a lovely weekend here and hope to return soon.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wunderschöne gepflegte Gartenanlage mit selfcatering Bugalows
- Jakub (10/5): so close to nicest beach on Cyprus, cool resort - We liked it a lot and would stay again, great family place = )
- barbara (8/5): Quiet and relaxing with a super pool - This is a very friendly and relaxed place to stay I personally have no qualms visiting as a solo traveller,It is small and the rooms are pretty basic,The pool and gardens are lovely,Food is mainly buffet style with a good choice and there are other places a short walk away to try,So long as you like a quiet setting and simple pleasures then it will suit you,A hire car for exploring the area would enhance the holiday and there is a lot of free parking. If you want to self cater there is a supermarket within 10 minutes walk don't expect a home from home kitchen IE no oven but for simple meals & snacks its ok, They have many repeat visitors and it is easy to see why,The beach again a simple affair is about 15 minutes walk away and not crowded.I for one will be going back and more than once.
- Nik (8/5): FANTASTIC - Unexpected, as we believed that it was a 3 star Hotel, it turned out to be a 4* plus! Especially the all inclusive offer.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We spend sehr wonderful vacation..very quite und cusy
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice grounds, apartment was 2 floors so nice for travelling pair...we got some privacy
Short walk to the beach
- Simon (8/5): - Great location just outside Pissouri Bay with great restaurants, shops and the beach! Walk in less than 10 minutes. Small bar at the holiday village serves draught beer, various budget spirits and pretty much all you need! Basic breakfast buffet with cooked options and limited local cuisine. Great pool area which includes changing area, showers and toilets. Could do with a refurb but basically clean. The appartments are basic. No TV but a functional kitchenette and plenty of utensils and crockery. Comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. Iron, hair dryers etc all available if you ask. Great location, about half an hour by car from Paphos airport. Loads to see in the area and some great beaches. Many residents were on the all inclusive option so be prepared for a few who come for the budget bar!! But really enjoyed the stay and especially the friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Dirty place Do not go there - The most dirty hotel I have ever been
- Ludmilla (8/5): - Good price. Great location, very close to the paphos airport and local beach. Baby friendly resort.
- Stephen (10/5): Hylatio Tourist Village - A wonderful experience! - Excellent location for sight-seeing and exploring. Accommodation was very good and suited our needs fully for our all-inclusive stay. Restaurant facilities were good with indoor and outdoor eating areas to suit all. The resort catered for all types of visitors (Families/couples alike) and the staff were very attentive and approachable. Would recommend this resort to any future visitors.
- NB (8/5): July 2018 - Good place to relax. Kids loved the pool. Room comfortable for a family of 4. Buffet regularly stocked. The owners organised a trip to the waterpark for us which all ran like clockwork. Nice touch that the owners gave us a bunch of grapes on departure
- Sam&Sharon (10/5): 5 days of pure bliss - A 5 day treat at the end of our 3 week stay of touring Cyprus and what an absolute joy. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the food was a treat and the pool was to die for. Very picturesque with beautiful gardens in a great setting. Fantastic value.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Basic but good great grounds - Really great place to stay on a budget, room was basic in need of renovation but clean and well designed. Balcony overlooking the pool, to sit out on.
Grounds were well maintained and beautiful, pool was also excellent and well maintained.
- barbara (8/5): - My accommodation was basic but very clean,The resort itself is lovely,Quiet with a smashing pool and pool bar,The food was plentiful & good very friendly staff who will do everything to make your holiday the best it can be.The beach area is about a 10 minute stroll away and there are a couple of shops for groceries along with a few places to eat,This is not a commercialised area so ideal for a restful break. The Wi-Fi coverage was good throughout,The grounds are well kept and pretty. In the reception area is a book swap & comfortable sofas if you need to escape the sun for a while. If you have a car there is plentiful parking on site and lots of places to visit.I had a peaceful and relaxing break which was just what I wanted and will definitely be revisiting.
- Jacek (10/5): Dobre miejsce na kilka dni odpoczynku. - Obiekt znajduje się w małej nadmorskiej miejscowości. Blisko do autostrady, lotniska w Pafos i mnóstwa atrakcji - zabytków, przyrody, morza. Apartamenty są duże i wyposażone we wszystko co do życia potrzebne. Duży basen. Cisza i spokój. Wypożyczając samochód można potraktować ten ośrodek jako dobrą bazę wypadową do większości atrakcji Cypru bo dojazd nie zajmie więcej niż 2-3 godziny.
- Pip (8/5): Nice hotel in traditional location close to beach - My family of four had a pleasant stay in what felt a traditional village location. Most facilities were basic but the whole place was very clean and the staff friendly and very helpful. Costs were extremely reasonable especially the all inclusive option. Food was very nice however the range was limited with similar dishes through our stay. The hotel is located in the Bay area which is ideal for going to the few restaurants which are all very good, and the beach is about a ten minute relatively flat walk. The traditional village is very pretty and is best visited by car - its a very steep walk. It is worth visiting with a number of good restaurants and bars. We had a very nice holiday for 5 days at end of October which was thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing.
- Margaret (8/5): Great Location for Chilling Out - Accommodation overall was very good and the chalet roomy and comfortable, though the self-catering aspect (should it have been required) was somewhat sparse. The area grounds were very well maintained and the landscaping exceptional. Situation in relation to Pissouri Jetty - just short stroll away. Also great beach tavernas just short drive along the coast.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok accommodation, close to the beach - The Village of Pissouri is gorgeous. The Hylatio village is whith 10 minutes walking distance of everything which is fantastic. The grounds Hylatio village is set in is wonderful, couldnt fault the lovely view from our room. The rooms are very basic but clean (think a good standard hostel). We had issues with our room, the toilet wouldnt flush, so we rationed our flushing trips. The showers shared water in the block, so ensure you use the showers out of peak hours, or you are likely to very dissappointed. The breakfast was alright, nothing spectacular. We only stayed B&B as we knew the food in Pissouri Bay/Village are fantastic. In Pissouri village (up the mountain) there are special greek nights at the weekend. If the Hylatio invested more money to upgrade the bathrooms and rooms this place would be fabulous and quite easily rival the Columbia for alternative accommodation in Pissouri Bay, but its not which is a real shame. For the cost, its value for money, but next time i'd rather spend more and get a better quality Villa. Overall its an "alright" stay, value for money we spent, but we wont visit again.
- Sarah (10/5): - Very pleased with the accommodation, much better than anticipated.
- Karen (10/5): Home from home - Very nice place, freindly staff particularly the bar staff. If I had to pick fault it would be the shower, barely a dribble. We went end of season so maybe things are a little tired by then. Certainly not enough of an issue to in any way negatively impact the holiday. The food was amazing, the service was second to none. This was my second visit and I see myself becoming a regular.
- René (10/5): What a great hotel!! - Fantastic family hotel with all inclusive (cost extra, but worth it!), which gives you a relaxed vacation. Service in top and much better than the stars-rating tells.
We (family of 4) had a very pleasant stay for 14 days and the food was good with eggs, bacon (which should be more cooked, but the english people loves the way it is just warmed), bread, fruit, yoghurt etc.
The room, which was a Maisonette, had a refrigerator and NO tv, which was perfect.
The owners were there all the time, and made it a perfect stay and made sure that everything was ok all the time.
The hotels place in Pissouri bay, is not a big city. It had some bars and restaurants, but we almost stayed at the hotel all the time, except for some trips to Limassol and Paphos, because the hotel had it all.
Live music some days, music with greek dance, and quiz was very held at a normal sound level and gave a nice atmosphere.
- Mateusz (10/5): - Wonderful place!
- barbara (8/5): Lovely,Peaceful Clean & Friendly a little gem. - These apartments/studios are clean, With the basic needs met for preparing light meals,Snacks etc however the onsite restaurant is reasonably priced and the meals are quite good,There are other places to eat within walking distance & a supermarket/corner shop type place for provisions.Free WiFi all over resort including your room. The pool area is clean and very enticing with plenty of sunbeds,Garden areas are pretty with plenty of flowering shrubs etc.The owners and his staff are cheerful, helpful and a pleasure to know.Lovely & peaceful both Hylatio itself & the surrounding area.PS they have laundry facilities also,Great if you don't want to carry tons of clothes out with you.
- kristin (8/5): Genuine lovely hotel with a lovely atmosphere and - Lovely pool and garden, Good food!! Fantastic pina coladas!! Big thank you to Elena and costi for there sense of humor and good service! Value for money!!! Unfortenatwly beds are hard.
- Maria (8/5): Weekend escape. - Our stay at Hylatio Village was nice. The room was clean and well furnished.
Is very close to the beach.
Only complain is that breakfast was not that rich.
- IEVA (8/5): ομορφο περιβαλλων - δεν ειχε τηλεωραση στο νουμερο.
- Paul (10/5): Inexpensive but top quality. - Lovely spot, well-maintained gardens and pool, quiet.
Attentive, friendly and helpful staff.
Good location - midway between Paphos and Limassol on beautiful coastline with great beaches.
Easy access to motorway.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely tranquil setting - Hylatio is a peaceful oasis in Pissouri. The pool area was spotless and the gardens beautiful. Our 1 bed apt was spacious and had a terrace overlooking the lawned area - perfect for the children to play on.
It's a few minutes walk to the beach and a great central spot for exploring the area by car.
There's no wi fi in the room , but that was actually quite nice forcing you to relax!
- SGM (10/5): great experience! - we had a great stay at this hotel. Staff, food and service was all great!
- SGM (10/5): great hotel! - we stayed at this hotel during a family trip and everything was perfect!
- Micha (8/5): - aircondition is a basic service that should include in the fee insted of charging it differently. its not fare and leave the customer wiht fill that the hotel take mony from him in not appropriate way.
