Guest Reviews
- Wong (10/5): - The staff is nice and helpful, especially the front desk supervisor, Ms. Erdem. She is kind enough to accompany me to the Police station and be my translator. (I had a thief incident in another place, not the hotel.) The property is a bit old and outdated. But the price matches that fact.
- Julian (10/5): Incredible - The hotel is spectacular, excellent location, the food is delicious, the staff is very friendly, the pools and hot springs are incredible. I would return a thousand times over. We highly recommend it.
- Emine (10/5): -
- Paula (8/5): Raccomanderei l'albergo per le sue piscine - Ottima piscina interna grande. Buonissima anche la piscina termale. Buffet (cena e prima colazione) buono. Ottimi massaggi.
- Niyazi (9/5): -
- Richard (3/5): Hugely disappointing in every way. Must have a bad manger, staff mostly did not speak English. - The waters and the spa were nice. The food, the size of the rooms, the value was not there.
- Brittany (10/5): -
- Margarıta (3/5): -
- Serkan (10/5): -
- Chiara (10/5): - Everything perfect and the outside thermal pool is heaven. Staff exceptional!
- Feliks (10/5): -
- 洁 (10/5): Wonderful experience - Ali from reception is superb!
He is extremely kind, professional, and genuinely helpful.
All of the staff at Doga were wonderful, and the hotel exceeded our expectations in every way — which is saying a lot, especially with guests ranging from a 9-year-old to a very picky 46-year-old woman 😄.
I truly enjoyed every part of the stay: the comfortable beds, the spa, the hot pools, and the buffet — everything was excellent.
If I ever visit Pamukkale again, Doga will be my one and only choice. Nothing.
- Angeline (8/5): -
- seattlesumirekan (10/5): Marvelous Dinner Buffet! - Amazing dinner buffet! We could not possibly try all the dishes! Everything tasted amazing. We wished we were staying here more than one night. Thermal pool was so nice and relaxing. We really hope to come back here some day again. Must stay when you are in Pamukkale!
- James (7/5): Very unique hotel and best in the area. - Very unique hotel perfectly located to the Travertines and Hierapolis.
Very cool indoor pool with a seriously impressive thermal pool at 52 degrees which was an awesome experience.
The dinner buffet is amazing and Fridays and Saturdays has the BBq. Poor lunch and breakfast. Hardly any staff who were not that helpful.
- Compass19356192512 (10/5): A highly-recommended hotel - I spent one night at this hotel in 2018 and was impressed by its thermal water. The presence of a bathtub with a natural thermal water tap in the room was very interesting to me. I also noticed that the food was excellent, better than expected.
I returned in May 2025 and spent 3 nights, and this review was written soon after checking-out.
There are “STANDARD” rooms and “DELUXE” rooms. Some “STANDARD” rooms do not have bathtubs, but the “DELUXE” rooms all have bathtubs and are slightly larger than the “STANDARD” rooms. I arrived via Denizli Airport, which is an hour away from the hotel by car.
Positive points:
• The thermal water experience in the room is fascinating.
• The food, whether breakfast or dinner, is one of the best I have seen in hotels.
• The indoor/outdoor swimming pools are very nice.
• The location is not far from the tourist attractions in the area.
• There is plenty of free street parking. There are some shaded parking slots too.
• Wi-Fi is available at all hotel points.
• Cleaning services are very good.
• Most of the staff speak English.
• Check-in and check-out processes are fast.
Points that need attention by the Hotel Management:
• The rooms are starting to age and need close inspection as some maintenance work is needed.
• The TV is small and is not smart. There is no variety of channels, let alone international variety.
• Wi-Fi strength is weak in the evenings during periods of high hotel occupancy.
• During my stay in May 2025, the thermal water supply to the rooms was limited to 2 hours in the afternoon and one hour in the late evening. I believe that more time should be allocated to this service.
I hope the above is of assistance.
- Michael (5/5): Large hotel, no character, just buffet food. Caters for big groups - Clean modern rooms Large hotel, no character, just buffet food. Caters for big groups
- sloanc51 (2/5): Good and helpful service. Terrible hardware. No air conditioning. - We visited in May when the temperature is above 20 C (H) and below 10 (L) and over the weekend. The air conditioning is entirely unsatisfactory and, despite reassurance from management to remain patient, nothing much changed for over half an hour. When we tried to utilise the cold air outside instead by having our balcony window / door opened, the discotheque nearby blasting away over the weekend made that a most unpleasant option.
Fixtures in the bathroom is spartan and, for the towel railings, falling apart.
The speed of response from the staff is good but nothing much could be done with the dreadful hardware.

- 907libbyv (10/5): Best hotel (by far) in the area - Staff was amazing! So helpful and friendly. Food is fantastic. I am a tour guide and have stayed in many of the surrounding hotels. This hotel is by far the best in the area. Great massage/spa, good wine selection and all around great experience.
- Anna (8/5): Very good - Great rooms, very clean and plenty of activities in the hotel, 3 swimming areas, very helpful staff. With the price we paid for the stay I expected more modern gym, the gym in the hotel is outdated and most of equipment is barely functional. Also the billiards table was dirty and damaged.
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - pool
- Regina (7/5): Good -
- Deryl (9/5): Superb - Location and facilities were excellent especially the thermal pools both indoor and outdoor. Parking was easy just outside the hotel entrance. Having to wear the head cover when going to the thermal pool. Thought it’s not necessary.
- Eddie (2/5): Very poor - Poor maintenance and facilities
- Preetha (6/5): Good place but if you can’t sleep on a bad mattress, stay away - Quiet and had a nice pool and hot springs area Beds were horrible. Could feel the inner coil springs. So rest was very difficult especially if you already suffer from a bad back.
- Jamal (5/5): My expectations were higher for such a touristic location. - location and convenience pools/ style and offered services
- Ser (9/5): Superb - Unique hotel with indoor thermal pool Lack of dining options onsite
- Perthcott (8/5): Comfortable hotel with excellent meals - A comfortable spacious hotel in Pamukkale. We only stayed one night so didn't get to try the spa or other facilities, but everything was pretty good.
Buffet meals for breakfast and dinner were amazing with a huge range of food. Shame we couldn't stay longer
- FloridaMarvin (10/5): For a great hot thermal spa experience. - We went because of the nearby Pamakkale travertine hill and historical site but ended up enjoying our stay here at the Doga much more! It looks to have been modeled on a space station. Nothing cuddly about this place but for soaking in hot springs, great. One pool outside, two indoors. One regular pool, not heated outside and one with inlaid jacuzzis inside that I loved after swimming in the outdoor hot thermal pool. The food the first night was overcooked, the second night gourmet. We learned to get there early. The room was luxurious in a functional way.
- B7346HArobs (10/5): Great hotel for a family - The hotel was great and was very well located. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our son enjoyed the swimming pools and the playground. The food was good for families and the hotel was very clean. We would happily stay here next time we visit Pamukkale.
- JasonC6944 (2/5): Give this a miss. - This hotel is a typical mass market tourist class hotel.
The design on the outside looks fairly modern but inside is an altogether different matter, especially the rooms. Old, dated, non-functioning air-conditioning system and sagging beds.
The hotel offers a huge buffet dinner which is patronized mainly by tourists coming in the busloads staying in the hotel. The food array was impressive but mostly tasted awful and overly salty.
I would not stay here again.
- renataufm (6/5): May be worth it if you find a great price. - We visited this hotel, including its rooms, but did not stay. The lobby and internal pool area looked really nice, but the outdoor pools are very crumpled between the hotel building and the hotel wall to the neighbors and the rooms felt outdated and a bit stuffy. If you like the style of the rooms in the pictures you may like the place, but it is definitely a far cry from a 5 star hotel (check out the dining room pictures and you will get the bigger picture). There are no real 5 star hotels in this area and I wish they used the international standards to rate the hotels, so guests would arrive with the right level of expectation.
- Daniella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fabienne (8/5): Very good stay, just the bar is not comfortable and what you would expect in such a hotel. - Cleanliness and location Big buffet (delicious) but such a waste of food that is thrown away every night-> make less and less waste!
- Janice (8/5): Very good - Clean & Comfortable Went for the Hammam & Massage but was quite disappointed. Thought it will be a good experience with the authentic Hammam but the lady who done for us were Indonesian and the massage was very disappointed . We don’t recommend for the service . Is really a waste of the money.
- Thomas (7/5): Nice hotel & Spa but A/C Doesn't Work Properly!!! - The hotel is modern with a nice thermal spa.. The air conditioning in all 4 rooms booked was abysmal.
The dining selection was amazing, but the hotel opened thecroofcto oppressive heat in the middle of dinner. This was a bad move.
- robnihob (4/5): Never again! - In summer it is extremely hot with the glass roof and our air conditioning was as good as useless. The manager was called and they bought us a fan but all in all it was a very uncomfortable night. Staff were unsympathetic and made us feel we were being unreasonable..but the heat was horrible. Lots of large groups made the restaurant full of masses piling their plates high. It was a feeding frenzy! Never again.
- Da (8/5): Very good - The best thermal pool hotel in Karahayit, but keep in mind the bar is rather low. Still, it’s indoor facilities were lovely and the outdoor pool, while not glamorous, was relaxing. The location isn’t the best. The breakfast buffet was subpar.
- Jamie (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were amazing, the pools were great too.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michał (6/5): Outdated hotel - My recent stay at this well-located hotel near the terraces had its ups and downs. Starting on a positive note, the hotel features a thermal pool with naturally warm water, which added a relaxing touch to our stay. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, with both breakfast and dinner included in my stay. However, the dining experience left much to be desired. Despite the variety, both meals felt mediocre, with the main dishes particularly disappointing. For the price paid, I expected more intriguing and quality meal options. Dinner service starts at 7:30 p.m., which aligns with local norms but might be inconvenient for travelers preferring an earlier meal to accommodate next-day plans.
The spa area urgently needs attention. I was disheartened to find mold in the steam room, which also had an unpleasant odor. Additionally, the Finnish sauna was out of service unless requested, requiring a long wait of 30-40 minutes to heat up. The pool area, too, was less than inviting with many of its jets and water features often turned off.
Overall, the hotel comes across as outdated and in need of renovation. While it has potential to be a standout destination, I currently find it hard to recommend given the lack of value for money. A refurbishment could possibly turn things around for this property.
- Delnavaz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nikhil (5/5): First experience was not good. Fault of Booking.com and the hotel. - Property is very nice and comfortable but very overpriced for the facilities. They did not have my reservation and told mw that my reservation had been cancelled when they had already deducted my payment one week back.
They made me wait 30 mins at the reception and i showed them all the proofs, but they said they had not received any money from Booking.com and it spoiled the whole experience.
It was 8.30 at night and i was trying to call Booking.com but they were also not reachable.
Very bad experience
- Rehmatullah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Filiz (5/5): Passable - food was good but everyday same menu - under expectations ! compare to other 5 starts spa hotels, no juice /fruit bar, no filter coffee / no barista option !
- Ayman (8/5): Overall it was wonderful stay and worth all effort and time . Highly recommended and will be back. - Great facilities to relax and unwind. The stay will guarantee your recharge and feeling refreshed l the food was good and decent variety. The spa and massages in particular was great. Thanks to the team and therapists of being professional and making all effort to accomodate the guests . The spa facilities like sauna and steam should be off limit for kids and more importantly keeping an eye on usage of guests and maintenance of strictly hygiene practices . Namely the use of ice to cool off and usage of slippers in side sauna .
- Osman (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (1/5): Avoid this hotel. It is advertised as 5 star, I would barely give it a3 star at most. - The only positive about this hotel is the spa. The staff was rude and not helpful. The room did not include a tab which was advertised advertised. Wi-Fi did not work. Dirty beat up furniture. Stains on the walls and lampshades. Not a good experience
- Ramsey (9/5): Superb - The thermal pool was fantastic. Outdoor and indoor pool facilities great.
- Fernando (7/5): Good -
- Rakesh (9/5): Superb - Breakfast choice were good - staff was very friendly
- Ekaterina (10/5): Pure Relaxation! - Everything!!!! Never felt as relaxed as I have after having been just 10 min in the hot outdoor thermal pool. Great food as well.
- Austen (7/5): Good -
- Vineet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nour (10/5): Exceptional - The room was great, comfortable and clean. You're welcomed with a fruit, chocolate and nuts basket in the room. The breakfast was very good; it had so many varieties. Staff are friendly and fast when asked for an extra service.
- Stephen (7/5): Amazing thermal set up - Food was amazing
Great staff Rushed dinner when we arrived late.
Rules about bringing water into the property
- Samira (8/5): Very good -
- Delia (9/5): Great stay - Was close to the Northern gate of Hierapolis.
Loved the thermal bath. We opted for rather swimming at the spa than at Cleopatras pool.
Dinner was great with lots of choices. Breakfast was also good.
Lots of parking.
They let us stay 2hours longer after check out to use the pools as we had a evening flight.
- Davi (10/5): Super comfortable and relaxing - Dinner was amazing. Dessert table had the widest range of options I have ever seen. Both regular pool and thermal pool were superb. This is the place to come to relax and unwind.
- Kristy (2/5): room not clean. unprofessional staff - do not like it the room is not clean. the staff are unprofessional
- Ahmed (10/5): Excellent all round - Beautiful property. Marvellous hot thermal pool.
Sumptous melas Nothing
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emmanuel (8/5): Very good -
- Cris (7/5): Average Stay - Proximity to Pamukale Thermal pools Since we missed connecting flight due to delay on Turkish Airlines we missed our first night in a non-refundable booking at $400/ or more a night. Non-refundable after March 31 and we entered April 5-7. We asked if we could only be charged second night as it was a case of “force majeure” of which hotel upon checkin did not accept. Since I had to pay more than USD$800 for total 1 night stay I asked for a room upgrade and hotel declined. After checkout, the bell boy said we had to return room card (Key) which he failed to recognize it is used at room entrance to ignite electricity in the room. It is the Front Desk who should address this matter and not the bell boy! The staff are very discourteous and quite nasty with guests in our case. If Turkey is to continue pursuing tourism as main income it must teach its tourism workers the importance of travelers. We did massage and that was nice. Overall I will not return to this hotel as the treatment given was not one of service. The food is quite average so do not expect a 5 star hotel. Also be prepared to pay for using the pool table as it is not complementary.
- Clemens (5/5): Passable - The pool and hot spring water The beds, the staff didn’t understand us and the food wasn’t good
- Gemma (8/5): unique stay amid the hot springs - convenient to see pamukkale and had a hot pool and comfortable room - included huge buffet dinner and breakfast the vibe was quite dated and some updates to decoration would make it much more appealing
- Elizaveta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gleb (9/5): Superb - The thermal pools are great, both indoor and outdoor. The cuisine is great too. Overall, this is probably the best property you would find in the area. The gym, while definitely better than having no gym at all, was very much underwhelming. I understand having no weights, as they are a health risk. But the mats that you do have are an outright safety hazard! They slip against the floor very very badly. Try putting one foot on the floor and another on the mat. I would be surprised if there have been no accidents yet. The machines need maintenance, some parts are missing or not moving freely.
I mean, if you just give YTL 20,000 to someone passionate about fitness, they can make the gym MUCH more useful and much safer.

- Ana (9/5): best in town ! - the best in Pamukkale which is very limited. the pool is very nice
- Tatyana (8/5): breakfast not bad but dinner quality poor. - thermals food
- Irene (4/5): Wouldn’t recommend it at all - I did not like location, breakfast was horrible, spa service mediocre, staff didn’t speak any English. It wasn’t worth of spending 2 days there. Hotel has no personality, typical low class all inclusive hotel See above
- Toni (9/5): Fab hotel...can't wait to return! - Everything! Great hotel, excellent service, supper was very impressive..super comfy beds...location and stunning pools... Sinks in bedrooms...too big ...and not cleaned thoroughly in the corners
- Asif (9/5): Superb - AC in rooms could be better
- Donglin (10/5): Exceptional - The swimming pool and thermal pool are very good, the dinner (buffet) are super. The bed mattress is a bit too soft.

- Donglin (9/5): Superb -
- Talia (9/5): Fantastic hotel would stay again - Loved the thermal water pumped into our bath at night, great dinner, friendly staff Breakfast was average compared to the dinner
- Ana (8/5): best place in Pamukkale - the location and it is the. eat hotel in Pamukkale
- Aziz (9/5): Superb - Good, comfortable, big rooms. Delicious dinner. The room needs renovation, plumbing is not working everywhere. in the spa salon, the sauna and hammam often do not work. the breakfast is monotonous and the waiters do not fully serve the guests, after the early influx of guests, late visitors enter the uncleaned and not filled with food hall.
- Amit (10/5): Amazing hotel, great service, thermal spa experience all in one - Excellent service all around. Easy parking. Easy check-in. No wait for rooms. They also brought us fruits/nuts for both rooms unasked as a gift...which was a nice gesture. Thank you! They also have a Thermal water tap in the bathtub which they turn on for 2 hours in the morning 10am-12pm and afternoon 2pm-4pm. So we checked in and took a bath right in the room in thermal water. Which was amazing to relax in. Not too far (3km) from Pammukale North Gate entrance and 10km from the main entrance. Then later at night some people in our group also enjoyed the thermal pool. The water is super hot so you have to get used to it, but the fact that we got it in the bathtub, allowed us to mix colder water to get the temperature just right so we could enjoy. Definitely 5-star experience.
