• Lori (9/5): Wonderful, we will be back! - It is a beautiful,well kept property, the location is perfect for walking downtown to the horse parade and touring the city. It was very special to stay in this historic building while visiting Colima. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Nos hospedamos una noche en la suite presidencial, que estuvo a muy buen precio. La limpieza es excelente, los muebles y la decoración son de estilo hacienda antigua pero en perfecto estado. Además el hotel tiene amplias áreas verdes y una pequeña alberca. Es muy tranquilo a cualquier hora del día y la noche. Estacionamiento privado, dentro del mismo hotel. Lo mejor es que es pet-friendly, hay gatitos en las áreas comunes, que convivieron bien con nuestro gato

El lugar era limpio pero si le falta más limpieza, nos encontramos animalitos en la cama nos dijeron que era polilla, pero no creemos ,desconocemos, nos cambiaron de habitacion.no pudimos entrar a la alberca ,tenía ramas y tierra. Pienso que booking deveria de revisar las instalaciones antes de promover. El precio no concuerda con la calidad y ubicación.

• Peter (1/5): Bad - Even though the room we booked was paid for in full, when we arrived, we were informed that they had rented it to someone who walked in off the street. We booked the room the night before, so there was ample time to have been notified...in any even we were led to another room which was supposedly of the same quality, but we did not like it as it was dark and without much character. No offer of any re-embursement...Just..this is it. This was the sixth time we have visited the property, and always book the queen suite because it has a private balcony...Not pleased with this visit. It may be time to look for a new hotel in Colima.

Room clean and big Shower while showering the water got clogged at the point that we have to stop the water so it will not overflow We were asked to leave our room key, and their main door was kept close all the time, so it feel like we have to report our in and outs at any time. Pool well it was nasty nasty nasty It mentioned a posible food service option, that’s not an option. Overall for the price is ok, but it has lots of potential!

• Tom (7/5): A strange hotel stay. I've stayed in many, many hotels, but this was a first. - The room was pretty spacious and the air conditioning worked well. The bright spot was the young man working nights who would bring me a cup of hot water each morning for my morning tea. There were absolutely zero amenities, it was a room and that was it. No restaurant, no bar, no laundry service - nothing outside of a room. I couldn't see to the bottom of the pool (the only amenity) so there was no way I was going in. No loungers by the pool, just uncomfortable iron chairs.

Hay que tocar para entrar y salir. No hay servicio de restaurante. La alberca está semi llena y no se antoja usarla. La iluminación de los cuartos es mala, con focos de neón muy poco agradables. No hay enchufes eléctricos en el baño. Agradezco el apoyo de Viviana, que estuvo al pendiente de mi estancia.

Quiet and comfortable. Hot water ran out almost immediately. The toilet didn’t have water - it was fixed The AC also malfunctioned- it was fixed.

It was upsetting to see the green awareness card for the environment and not washing the towels unless needed and then the cleaning staff took my towels and cloth to wash that didn’t need it. The management and the staff should get on the same page or don’t advertise the green awareness.

The receptionist was not friendly or helpful. The place is run down and needs attention. The room was dark, no window in our Jr suite, the only view to the run down interior garden was to open the door with no screen. on booking.com it reads breakfast is included, not true. You could see into a disorganized and dirty kitchen. No hospitality. Could be easy to put coffee or hot tea out in the morning. or have access to a clean kitchen area to prepare your own. The pool is a joke.

However, you don't get a key to the front door, and have to knock or call anytime you want in (or out! The latter a real safety hazard). This is true day and night. Fairly weird and uncomfortable, in an otherwise nice place.

• Carolina (5/5): Passable - The hotel is an old Hacienda..so you can feel it in the atmosphere around you. The staff was very quiet...had to be calling every time i wanted to go in and out the hotel, probably because the neighborhood is bad....the place where the hotel is located is not worth even staying...very ugly and bad graffitti everywhere in the neighborhood outside the hotel...Colima downtown is not the Colima I used to visit or know. No breakfast or restaurant in the hotel...no coffee at least!....very small swimming pool that you cannot even see unless you walk right to it way in the back of the garden...the lady that cleaned my room turned off my ac knowing that we were still staying another night and I let the management know and they just blew it off!...we slept very uncomfortable that 2nd night. Just like they want us to pay they should of done something for the inconvenience...wont stay here again.

• Elena (10/5): - The perfect place to stay for a couple of days if you are looking for clean, safe, and comfortable accommodations. Our room was nicely decorated, clean, extra blanket and pillows, small fridge, full length mirror, enough outlets to charge devices, and a very comfortable bed. Bathroom has a nice shower and a separate vanity area. Area is safe to walk and quiet at night. Wish I had stayed longer to spend more time in their beautiful gardens. Highly recommend this property!

• curtis (4/5): - The pictures present a very different property than what was experienced. We were given on small bottle of water for two of us. There was a charge for additional bottles. There is nothing really close although the main square is within walking distance. The bed was fine but after my wife finally succumbed to a cold shower, i alerted the staff and they turned the hot water on. It lasted less than three minutes. There was one fellow on staff who was very pleasant and helpful. Too little too late.

• 255fredt (8/5): Gem of a hotel. - This is a real nice hotel close to Centro and Eco Park. My room was large with a king size bed. Bathroom was huge. AC in the room. I was surprised at how nice it was because of the affordable price. Will definitely stay again.
