- Mike (10/5): Loved our visit and stay at El Faro…had a friendly resort feel! - View was great in rm 311. JC was the best staff member and always extra friendly and helpful, although all the staff were also great. Pool temp was perfect, breakfast and other meals were good. Sink was missing a P trap and we could smell sewage vapors from sink. Also, sink was not well secured to the wall. Location of the bed was a bit awkward. There was a gap between the bottom of the door and the threshold which allowed crabs and insects to enter. There was always water from the ac pooling at the front door.

El precio no corresponde a lo que las instalaciones te ofrece, el desayuno es muy tardado y nada variado ni rico. Creo que sólo son 2 chicos para toda la gente del desayuno y como se desesperan, te hacen cara. Te venden un pan tostado extra muuuuy caro, de hecho toda la carta de su restaurante lo cobran muy caro y nada está rico ni bien servido. Excepto la ubicación y los chicos del carrito que te suben y bajan, N A D A

The walk up the drive is quite steep but they will happily take you up on a golf cart from reception. Rooms are basic but that is reflected in such a good price

- Sandra (9/5): Great location, 5 mins walk from national park and beach. - Great to have access to a pool in the warm weather. Generous sized room with two double beds and A/C. Excellent breakfast (choice) provided and all food we had in restaurant was delicious. Live music and dancing on Saturday night was lively and fun. It was also great to have access to the men’s tennis final (Rome open) on Sunday morning. Staff were friendly and very helpful, especially José and Juan Carlos - Gracias! Mattress slightly worn but was still comfortable. Quite steep hill and steps to hotel but buggy’s available on request.

We came in at 11am to drop our bags so idk why it was decided we'd be put in the middle building right next to the noisy pool with screaming kids. It wasnt worth the money for such a noisy non existent view, frankly.

- Jonatan (8/5): - La piscina y el bar molan mucho. El ambiente es agradable y la gente está relajada. Se bebe y come bien en el mismo hotel. Está cerquita de la playa y a un minuto de la puerta del parque nacional. El concepto de las habitaciones es muy interesante y tienen vistas al mar, el pacífico es lo primero que ves al abrir los ojos, y también los monos que se acercan a las terrazas.

Literally a two-minute walk from the entrance to Manuel Antonio Park, which is amazing (avoid scams and parking problems). Breakfast was acceptable but the portions were small. Everything you need on your doorstep. Choice of two pools. Amazing views from the rooms as on a hillside. Staff so friendly and helpful. They offer a golf cart service to get your luggage to your room and back to reception. Comfortable bed. Cold AC. Fridge and coffee machine provided. Breakfast choices were good and plenty of food. They also provide a pre order service if you have an early tour. The bedside socket and coffee machine in my room weren’t working.

- Monica (10/5): Excelente lugar - La ubicación es muy buena a 50 mts de la entrada del parque y a 400 mts de la playa pública. El hotel es muy lindo y el personal es muy atento, amable y fue lo que hizo nuestra instancia inolvidable. Además la vista es increíble.

- Albert (8/5): Great location and clean - Walking distance to beach and park, and hotel restaurant was good. Great view of the ocean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Cool to see the wildlife on the property like sloths and monkeys. Overall, very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Bugs could fly in through cracks at the balcony door even though it was closed. Couldn’t close washroom door. Pork chop casados at the restaurant were burnt initially and then after sending it back, 1 of them was too raw the 2nd time. Ended up with grilled fish instead. There was a very large group at the time which is probably why, but the server was very apologetic.

La piscina es hermosa, el restaurante del hotel ofrece un buen desayuno y demas comidas deliciosas y abundantes. El personal es muy amable y el ambiente del hotel es familiar. Esta ubicado a 200 metros del Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio lo cual es un must. Buena relacion precio - calidad. Cuando llegamos quedamos decepcionados con la habitación, es muy distinto a lo que se ve en las fotos. Las habitaciones son conteiners, pero no estan bien decorados y mantenidos. Habia olor a humedad y los muebles y acolchados eran viejos. Se podria mejorar muchisimo mas. Pedimos cambio de habitacion, pero no habia disponibilidad.

- Izan (10/5): - El hotel está en un lugar privilegiado junto al parque y la playa, con bonitas vistas. También hay varios animales que se pueden observar (perezosos, monos, iguanas,…). La atención del personal fue excelente. Y sobre algunos comentarios relativos a escaleras, hay ascensores y carritos de golf para sortear este punto.

- Rachel (9/5): Great Stay with Stunning Views and Friendly Service - I stayed here for one night mainly because they offer a 24-hour reception, which was hard to find in the area at a reasonable price. Everything worked seamlessly from start to finish. The gentleman at check-in was really kind – he even drove me up from reception to the actual hotel in a golf cart, as the hill is quite steep, and made sure my key card worked before leaving me to rest after a long journey. The room had two double beds and would likely feel a bit tight for four people, but for one person or a couple it offers sufficient space. The shower had good water pressure and consistent hot water, and the room was properly air-conditioned. One of the highlights was definitely the view in the morning – absolutely stunning. Breakfast was decent, although communication was a bit challenging and it took quite a while to get tea (coffee seemed to be served much faster). Overall, it is a really nice hotel in a fantastic location. Just keep in mind that you will need to walk up and down a fairly steep hill when coming and going. Unfortunately, I could only stay one night as the hotel was fully booked, but I would have happily stayed longer. Nothing, I was happy with everything.
- Mary (10/5): - The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast and restaurant area had great views and the food was delicious. The wildlife you could see from the pool and restaurant area was a lovely surprise.

- Van Hoa (9/5): Superb views so close to Park entrance. - We had an awesome view of sunset, the beach, and Manuel Antonio park in the distance from the top floor. Our corner unit had the front balcony and a side balcony. On that side balcony, we saw a cute anteater walk around in the trees. The room was clean, cool, and comfortable. The large bathtub was wonderful. The short five minute walk to Manuel Antonio Park entrance can’t be beat. Very nice staff as well especially Jose, who gave us a lift up and down in the golf cart. The rooms are quite steep up a hill so my sister almost slipped in her wet pool flip-flops. The bathroom door of our room 346 has gaps and does not lock. There is only one soap dispenser rather than separate shampoo, conditioner, shower gel.

Toute l'équipe est très arrangeante (nous avons pu laisser notre voiture avant de récupérer notre chambre et profiter de la piscine). Un rapport qualité-prix imbattable ! Rien à signaler, tout était parfait !

- Debora (8/5): - el desayuno es bueno, al igual que la ubicación y la atención del personal a cama no era cómoda. nuestra habitación daba a la piscina y los vidrios no eran polarizados por lo que si había gente en el exterior se debía cerrar las cortinas para tener privacidad y no entraba nada de luz natural.

La piscine, ils y mettent beaucoup le temps. Les personnes travaillent fort et longtemps. Ils nous aide avec le transport. Tout était impeccable. Les déjeuners sont bons. Ont a même vu un singe entrer dans une chambre, alors barré votre porte si vous avez de la bouffe. Il est venu se chercher un snack. Ahah Rien!
