Every morning they were bringing us the breakfast in the room and also if you wanted to eat the lunch or dinner they were bringing it in the room. My kids were very happy with the pool, they had a lot of fun. The beach was across the hotel and that was very good for us having 2 kids. The only problem that we had was with the internet, the connection was very bad.

• Mircea (10/5): Great experience! - Since this was the first time we stayed at Mantinia Bay Hotel, we can say it was exactly what we needed and we were delighted with the place. We stayed in one of the apartments and it was very spacious with a nice terrace and a small kitchen corner, which to be honest we didn't use for cooking but it was still very useful to have. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the cleaning service was very detailed. We didn't miss any accessories, even if we didn't find something in our room upon arrival we received it the next day. There were enough parking places in the hotel's parking. The hotel beach is across the street and there are enough sunbeds for the guests. Since we were trying every day for lunch another taverna, we only had lunch once at the hotel, but it was good. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, but nothing fancy or extraordinary ( which was not what we were looking for anyway ), and it worked perfectly with the timeless Greek village feeling that you have there. And last, but definitely not least, the personnel was friendly and always there to help. One thing that needs mentioning, the beaches in that area are rocky, not sandy, beaches. It took us probably 2 days to get used to, but then we were just fine with it since the rocks were round and not pointy, and in the end we actually loved it, it was a good daily reflexology :D A small tip, wait in the water for the sun to set behind the mountain across the gulf. We loved it, including our 4 years old.

• B&b (10/5): Perfect and welcoming place to stay in Kalamata, and as a base for exploring southern Peloponnese! - I loved our stay at this hotel! Michalis greeted us with a warm welcome and explained everything very well. He is a great source of info and knowledge about Kalamata, Greece, and other places! Mr. Dmitri is such a pleasure - he brought us breakfast everyday. And the food is superb, fresh, local - and the olives are to die for! Nothing beats knowing that the olives and oil you are eating come directly from their grove! Both Mr. Dmitri and Michalis (and George) made us feel like "home" - and you can sense it in the pride they show in their property. The room was a really great sized one. The kitchenette area was clean - new scrubbing pad, plates and glasses not chipped, matching cutlery, clean and good-sized fridge. Good upholstered seats too! Bathroom was a good size. Shower pressure great and drains well. Good restaurants within walking distance, with the beach right there to cap your dinners. Overall, the best stop during our trip around the Peloponnese!!! Nothing - it was a great and relaxing 6-night stay!!!

Отлично расположен , через дорогу от оборудованного пляжа 2. Отличный кондиционер, в жаркий август это - очень важно. 3. Хорошо работает WIFI и в отеле и на пляже . 4. Рядом - 5/6 отличных ресторанчиков для обеда и ужина . 5. Комната большая , 35 м , но довольно скромная . Но нас вполне устраивает .

Beaux restos au bord de l'eau à quelques mètres. Moins aimé: La vue panoramique est un peu exagérée: il y a vue sur le building d'à côté et sur la piscine. Pour voir la mer, il faut laisser la porte ouverte! Et à quoi sert la cuisinière si on n'a ni poelon, ni casserole?

Breakfast at high level next to the pool or by the beach. Really nice staff all through and good food at the beach restaurant.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay exceeding expectations - Wonderful stay at Mantinia Bay started with warm welcome by the reception staff. Room was impeccably clean and the breakfast was scrumptious. Homemade jam was the best I've ever had and it was delivered promptly to the terrace where it was set up so we can enjoy overlooking the beautiful view. I cannot say enough good things about this place.
• Amanda (10/5): Would stay here again! - Its not the conventional type of hotel as our room was like an apartment, it had a small kitchen area with table and chairs, we loved it. The hotel was modern, well presented and we were made to feel welcome. The service was brilliant and the staff we're friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and I liked he fact we had to have it having in our room or by the pool. The private beach area with sunloungers and drinks/food service was so close to the hotel and was brilliant. I loved my time here it was so relaxing time and I would definitely stay here again. It wasn't very busy in June but I have a feeling it may be much busier later in the season.

• Stephan (10/5): Hotel mit tollem Personal - Grosses Zimmer mit Terrasse und Küchennische. Grosszügiges Badezimmer. Frühstück wurde nach eigenen Vorgaben zusammengestellt und auf Anruf hin aufs Zimmer gebracht. Getrennt durch die Strandstrasse hat das Hotel einen eigenen Strandbereich mit Restauration. Der ganze Hotelbereich macht einen gepflegten und sehr sauberen Eindruck. Das Personal ist stets sehr hilfsbereit.

It is a really lovely hotel offering excellent personal service. Lovely pool and nice room. • Jesus (10/5): Hotel muy nuevo cerca de la playa - Hotel con instalaciones muy nuevas, algo alejado del centro de Kalamata, pero lo agradecimos porque buscábamos tranquilidad. Las habitaciones son muy grandes y cómodas, con cocina incluida por si quieres comprar algo que hacerte tú mismo. El personal es muy atento y amable, además alguno de los recepcionistas habla español. Hotel recomendable si se busca descanso y tranquilidad.

• Ruth (8/5): Hotel is okay but area lacks charm - The hotel is quite nice. Staff were welcoming, the room was nicely furnished and clean. The area surrounding the pool was also quite nice and a good place to have breakfast. But the surrounding area (not a village, more of a beach strip) was rather run down and lacking in charm. My sister and I went out for dinner and there was no one else around. We had dinner in one of the 3 restaurants and there were no other diners anywhere. I am unlikely to return to the area but if I did I would stay in Kalamata itself.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great Location, Very Satisfied With This Pick - Nice modern hotel in a great beach area with large rooms and nicely appointed with a little balcony. We had a view of the pool on the first floor which was nice. Check in was quick and pleasant. You get a sheet at check in to order your breakfast the next day and call the morning of and they will deliver it to either your room, by the pool or on the upper terrace. The choices are the usual ones but plentiful and very good. The beach is right across the street and they have beach chairs and umbrellas free of charge for you to use but there are not that many so get there early. We watched the sunset on the beach last night and it was beautiful. Lots of restaurants on that strip to,choose from although the hotel has this own little restaurant in the hotel or you can walk across the street and have a gorgeous view. Had their Mango Passion milkshake which was just okay. I think it was a nice choice for the money and would recommend it. They also sell olive oil, wine, pastas, etc in the lobby and are pretty reasonable.

Outstanding service from a staff of a family owned and operated hotel. Great breakfast with an option of having it in your room free of charge. The only issue was that the location was about 10 min outside Kalamata so getting in to the city centre required taxi service. Otherwise, a really fine option
• Laura (10/5): Exceptional boutique hotel - This is a little gem in Kalamata! Very modern and comfortable rooms across the beach. The staff goes out of its way to make your stay comfortable. Great recommendations of local restaurants and services. Also they will bring a fresh homemade breakfast to your room at no extra charge! Large rooms with all the amenities.
• yaakov (10/5): Amazing great hotel - Everything is large: the elevator, the room, the bed, the space and the hospitality off the owner. Young hotel, near the beach very clean and well kept. Toaster oven, refrigerator, coffee percolator and electric stove are included in the room. The staff (in our case –the owner) is very kind and always ready to help.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Immaculate and stylish hotel away from the crowds - Tip: This hotel is for those who are looking for a quality experience but don't have to be in the hubbub of Kalamata. Our experience was remarkable as we just lucked into the hotel and found the hosts incredibly hospitable, eager to please and the hotel facilities amazing. Their pool is one of the best we have seen in Greece and the stylish decor and furnishings are terrific, especially when the price of the hotel is factored into the equation. Breakfast was truly astonishing as well. This is a FIVE!
