• Verified traveler (2/5): 리모델링 절실합니다... - 솔직히 적을게요. 부모님 모시고 간 첫 제주도 여행이었고 두번째 날 숙박을 여기서 했는데 너무 별로였습니다. 타 숙소 대비 상대적으로 싼가격 때문에 선택했고 물론 큰 기대는 안했지만 실망이 컸습니다. 우선 방에서 퀴퀴한 냄새가 났으며 방음도 잘 안되었고 화장실도 넓긴 했으나 오래된 건물이어서 깔끔하지 않았습니다. 성산일출봉 주변에 새로 지은 숙박업소들이 많은데 조금 비싸더라도 그쪽으로 숙박 잡으시는 것이 좋을듯 합니다. 숙소가 마을 중간에 있어서 성산일출봉을 보기 위해서는 한블럭 나가야 합니다.

• Verified traveler (10/5): 편의 시설이 약간의 문제 - 네비가 있으니 상관없지만 약간 외진데라 찾아가기 번거로울수 있습니다. 방 주시는데 후기에 취사 가능한것으로 나와 전부 취사 되는줄알고 예약했는데 취사 되는방이 따로 있으니 예약 전 확인해야겠더군요!! 처음에는 취사 안되는 방 주셨는데 다행히도 다른 방이 있어 바로 바꿔주시더군요. 마트는 없고 편의점은 걸어서 10분에서 15분정도 거리에 2개 있습니다. 식당들도 여기에 있습니다. 음식은 미리 준비하시면 좋습니다 저녁 사장님께서는 흑돼지 추천하셨는데 픽업도 해준다기에 추천지에서 맛있게 먹었습니다. 그리고 마지막까지 친절하신사장님..
• BEOMHOE (6/5): 성산일출봉하고 엄청 가까워요~ - 성산일출봉을 기준으로 숙소를 검색하였기에 거리적인 부분은 만족하였습니다. 호텔급은 아니지만 숙박만을 위한 기준으로 검색하였는데 이곳은 음식을 조리할수 있는 펜션으로 보아야 할것 같습니다. 다만 지리적인 위치가 너무 외떨어져서 식당이나 편의점은 미리 들르실것을 추천합니다.
• Man Cheung (8/5): Nice hotel - Staff can speak fluent English. They are nice and helpful. Quiet place but inconvenient if you have no car to go there.
• Verified traveler (10/5): 깔끔하니 좋았어요 - 숙소 깔끔하고 사장님도 친절하셨어요. 객실 청소는 되지않고 수건은 매일 챙겨주십니다. 저희는 동쪽에만 있어서 3일 묵었습니다. 3일동안 크게 불편하진 않았는데 베개가 너무 높아서 ㅜ ㅜ 힘들었고 이불이 얇은게 하나뿐이라 좀 추웠습니다. 전반적으로 만족합니다~~

• Verified traveler (8/5): 좋아요~ - 잠만 잘 수 있는 공간만 남아있어서 아쉽지만 다른 곳에 방이 없어 예약을 했지만 취사도 할 수 있는 곳으로 업그레이드도 해주셔서 아침밥도 먹으면서 제주도 여행을 할 수 있는 기회가 되어 너무 좋았습니다~ 남편도 저도 다 만족하며 다녀왔어요~
• Charles Sangeun (6/5): Clean, Simple, Straightforward - Nothing to complain about if your expectations are proper. You'll have a simple but solidly room, clean and the people are very nice. No reason not to stay here - it's a decent place at a very fair price.
• Adam (10/5): Pleasant, nice and quiet. - Surprised that the hotel appears to be a converted apartment block, but the room was just like a very spacious (for Korea) apartment. The owners are very nice people, who were happy to give us lifts and advice. They even provided us with raincoats when we said we were going to go out and buy some from the CU. The hotel is not in a built up area, which suited us just fine. The nearest busy are is about a half hour's walk away, so it was quite easy to walk around. A word of advice in getting to the hotel though, a taxi ends up being quite expensive, but the bus route is cheap and easy. We got there quite late, so we ended up taking the taxi there from the airport (43,000 KRW), but got the bus back (3,300 KRW each). I would therefore recommend arriving during the day and taking the bus, or hiring a car if you don't mind driving around.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Near peak and that is it - It was very nice. Friendly staff with driver to bring you to places around the area. No lift though.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Very relaxing stay! I'm definitely returning! - I had a great time during my stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was very clean and new. The location is walking distance (about 25 minutes) to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. The hotel staff offered me a ride to the site at no cost. You can also call a cab and there are cabs everywhere at the site. The room has a little kitchenette with basic cookware. Shower was nice and hot. Nice big windows (sort of like balcony). The room also has a big TV on the wall but I didn't watch TV so I'm not sure what channels they have. It was nice and quiet at night so I slept peacefully throughout the night.
• William (8/5): Good owner, and near to sunrise peak - Friendly and helpful owner. They even give us a ride to the sunrise peak at 530am in the morning, and ride to restaurant for dinner. She even helps us with our hotel reservation in Damyang as we can't speak Korean.
• Susan J (10/5): Great Stay in Quiet Rural Area! - Yes, it's in a rural area, but they shuttle you to different sites and the bus stop, wherever you need to go. They do not pick you up, just take a taxi or use Google to find a bus. It was so nice of them to drive us to Sunrise Peak at 5:20am! Staying here will put you in a good spot to visit Udo Island, Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak), and if you are looking for a swimming beach, I highly recommend taking a bus North to Hado Beach. It is a quiet clean beach with clear water. At low tide, a shallow area gets warmed by the sun, perfect for laying in about 12" of water. There are tons of hermit crabs. When you get off the bus to go to Hado Beach, walk following the gps, you will pass handmade signs for a cafe in the rustic village called Pura Vida. Go there! It is a coffee shop with an excellent fresh roasted hand drip coffee, as well as full meals and a surprising selection of German beers. We got a Pad Thai and Paulaner. This was really an unexpected and welcome surprise! Another tip- if you go to Udo, go as early as possible and check the time for the last ferry back. For September, it was 4:30pm! Why so early?
• Mantas (8/5): Good value - Good value simple accommodation. A bit far from the public transport, but taxis from sunrise peak are cheap and owners are eager providing a lift whenever they can.
