Guest Reviews
- Rebecca (8/5): - I loved the antique touches with the cabin americana feel. Charming place. Would definitely choose this place to stay another time. Would recommend to others. Very tidy. Loved it. Price was fair also.
- Mary (2/5): - Owner was rude. We ended up not staying here because the property was very run down. Do yourself a favor and go to the other motel in town. Listen to the reviews.
- jennifer (8/5): - I love how it was like 29 minutes from Cooperstown to watch baseball. It was good experience to visit New York. Would love to come to visit again
- Verified traveler (2/5): Buyer beware. Would never stay again!! - We booked 2 rooms. Mold/mildew infested. One of the toilets was absent of water, and room reeked of sewer gas.
Team refused to stay at hotel. Ownership declined to refund stay costs because we did not allow them to offer us different options? Rooms were that bad... other room options would not be acceptable.
- Sean (2/5): - This place needs updating and the area is sketchy. The pictures on Expedia are misleading. It’s a shared kitchen with the entire townhouse located on the first floor while the sleeping area is located on the 2nd floor. The actual room consists of 3 beds, a small chair, and didn’t offer space for our luggage. The photos online give the impression that the kitchen is private and the space appears much larger than it actually is. We watched individuals engage in drug activity in the field across the street. We didn’t feel comfortable or safe to stay. We contacted the owner who offered to just move us to another room?! We decided to cut our losses $ and keep driving despite being exhausted.
- David (4/5): - It feels unsafe. Grass growing up through the floor. It’s a bed for the night, but you’ll want to do better if you can. Water pressure was good though.
- Kaitlin (10/5): - Great stay!
- Alexander (10/5): - Liked the real wood panelling, quietness, can use the kitchen area as needed. Despite the outside appearance, the stay was really excellent! Liked the place and will stay there again. Recommend it.
- Mark (6/5): - The exterior of the hotel needed upkeep, although the interior was clean enoughy. There was no coffee in our building, and we were not told that there was coffee in the other building. The parking lot was not paved. There was pretty much no soundproofing, and the wooden walls, floors, and ceilings meant that all sound reverberated. The AC was a window unit, which meant blocking out outside light was very difficult. It met our needs, but really nothing beyond that.
- Brad (6/5): - If all you're looking for is a basic room, with a bed and bathroom, you'll be fine. Definitely no frills. Bit of a weird smell. No mattress pads between the sheets and the mattress.
- corinne (10/5): - My family and I stayed here for a night during HOF weekend and thought it was great. The location was perfect, check-in went very smoothly and the front desk worker offered valuable advice.
We were also able to access the Lakehouse area, which was beautiful. My son and I played catch next to the lake in a spacious grassy area and the atmosphere added to the experience.
As for the room, it was cozy, but clean and all three beds had firm mattresses, and we were pleasantly surprised to find they had a television for my son when we made it back with all of the subscription channels available if you were a member of them.
All in all, this place deserves better reviews than the ones I read prior to coming here and I hope this review helps future guests choose this as the place for them to stay.
- Larry (6/5): - We were not prepared for the isolation of the location, the lack of facilities, ie. no main office where you could get snacks. We put some water in the kitchen refrigerator area and one was taken by another guest.
The temperature was in the mid 80's and very humid, and the air conditioning was not on when we arrived. It took awhile to cool it down.
We ended up leaving after the first night because it wasn't very pleasant.
We did like the wood paneling in the rooms. Very rustic.
- Chris (10/5): - Closeness to Cooperstown
- Alexandra (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at the Townhouse Hotel in Richfield Springs with our family and our dog. The location was perfect for visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame and exploring Cooperstown—just a short, scenic drive away. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We really appreciated the freedom to use the shared kitchen and loved helping ourselves to fresh coffee each morning. Sabina checked us in and was incredibly kind and helpful. She recommended we dine at their Lake House restaurant, we enjoyed a delicious meal while watching a beautiful sunset over the lake and listening to live music. Highly recommend this spot for families, pet owners, or anyone looking for a peaceful and friendly place to stay near Cooperstown!
- Chris (8/5): - No
- Danitra (6/5): Baseball or Bust? - Cool place. The pics made it look like we had the upstairs and downstairs to ourselves but there were at least 5 units in the space that shared the downstairs kitchenette area. Also, you had to notify them 24 hrs in advance of your arrival (which we did not do) and spent 25 minutes trying to contact someone.
Beds were clean and comfy. Shower is awesome. The bathroom trash hadn’t been dumped so it was a little offsetting to see someone else’s dental floss and spit cups, but it was probably just an over site.
Beautiful drive from Cooperstown.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - management needs to be detailed in their description of what is available for use. There was no coffee maker and the oven did not work. there was no dining table for use.
- Roy (6/5): - The price was very good. No amenities. Just a place to sleep.
- Lucia (4/5): - I arrived at this property at 8pm so too late to go anywhere else. The smell in the entry way was moldy and overwhelming. Once in my room the smell of Lysol almost knocked me out. The air conditioning helped. The TV was very small and far from the bed so it was kind of useless. It appeared to be clean but the smells have to go!
- Anthony (8/5): - The room was very basic it had a queen bed a dresser with a roku tv a ac unit and a bathroom with stand up shower but for what i paid it was perfect
- Scott (8/5): - An older property with a historic past that provides a simpler yet clean and efficient guest experience.
Perfect for travelers who don't expect their hotel/motel to entertain them but will be spending most of their stay touring nearby towns and villages and events.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - We never actually spoke to anyone, when we has issues getting into the townhouse, no one answered the phone or text. It was 9:01 pm so no answer. The room was very dusty and gave all of us stuffed up noses, the beds were old and so worn out. They need covers over the mattresses so it isnt so itchy through the thin sheet. One person cooked in the common area and stunk up the whole area of food for hours. For the price and what we needed, it was ok.
- Katelyn (8/5): - Outside looks a little run down but clean on the inside. Staff friendly. Lots of character- my kids had a good time, we booked a room with 3 queens for our family of 6.
- Scott (4/5): - Property was very run down and not well taken care off and staff was almost invisible as u had 2 hunt down people to check in and leave. Toilet ran the whole time I stayed there and television not only didn’t work but was smallest television that I’ve ever seen in a hotel room.
- William (4/5): - Room was clean and check-in was walk into your room with keys hanging on a hook. They have “townhouses” behind hotel which is like a cabin with cheap laminate flooring. Rooms had musty smell and very tight with 2 beds. Beds and linens feel like you are sleeping in Grandma’s basement. Toilet is cheapest one from a home improvement store and rocks upon sitting. No frills but was safe and clean with an ok price. Pictures with food are from another property called Lakehouse as we ate dinner there before arriving at Baseball hotel. Funny thing, not one item with a baseball theme.
- Bruce (4/5): - The property is an high need of all types of care
- Priscilla (4/5): - 1. The person with whom I made the reservation was distant and disinterested in my being satisfied. "Take it or leave it" seemed to be her attitude.
2. I arrived at the address the GPS indicated was correct, but all I could see was "The Baseball Hotel". No street address posted at the door of the hotel. And, no mention of the "Townhouse Hotel", which is the place I was searching for. Finally I called the inhospitable one, mentioned above, who assured me I was at the right place. She DID condescend to direct me to the correct door.
The "Townhouse Hotel", the building behind the Baseball Hotel, seemed to be an old motel ready to be demolished! Really! Weathered wood, peeling paint (where there was paint). Not inviting at all.
No "Welcome" signs.
3. What else was there none of? No notice that coffee was served in the Baseball Hotel from 7 am-11 am. I stumbled upon it by exploration.
$. Please don't aske me to stay there again.
- Candice (10/5): Great Place - Our family came for Cooperstown Dreams Park. This was a wonderful stay. Kitchen was useful!
- Lawrence (10/5): - Close to Cooperstown
- Autumn (2/5): - This place is way out of date and not what the pictures showed on the website. It was so bad that we lost our money on our visit because we chose to stay some where else.
- Melinda (10/5): - Amazing hotel, amazing town, amazing experience!!
- Dionisio (10/5): - Very nice and clean place to stay
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Definitely didn’t look as advertised. Rooms were small, window ac, floor slanted, noisey, staff was nice and attentive.
- Stephen (10/5): - Rustic old hotel. If you want quiet, frieldly staff rustic charm this is the place. Would stay again.
- Munkee (6/5): - Small, clean and comfortable. No frills.
- L. (10/5): - Great room, communicative staff.
- Timothy (2/5): - Unfortunately the property had zero WiFi as advertised so we were unable to stay there. We arrived in a very shady looking area of the town and the room was 3 queen beds in a tiny room with a kitchen that was a common area for 3 different rooms. There was also blood curdling baby screaming from the property next door. I reached out to advise the property that we were unable to stay because I work from home and need WiFi anticipating some semblance of response or partial refund but there was zero response. Would never consider staying here again
- Jose (10/5): - Thanks
- Ivan (8/5): - Not to clean
- Milbert (10/5): - The staff was just plain wonderful and very helpful. The property reminds me of a Martha's Vineyard feeling.
- Abraham (10/5): - Hotel is in the middle pf multiple attractions, baseball in Cooperstown and Hockey in Utica. We came for the Hockey at the new Nexus center in downtown Utica. Each time We stayed here we had a well kept room with great service. Our room was very spacious and perfectly cleaned. The room rate is far below the rates in Utica and much larger rooms. We had a great experience.
- beadle (10/5): - The room was cozy and appropriate for the price paid, plus we were able to keep our pet with us. The staff is great and super helpful and the rooms we saw are great. We were very close to stores and restaurants also. We will be back again.
- cinthia (10/5): - The 2 ladies that checked us in were great carrying in our bags without asking. Room was very clean and they showed us how the internet streaming worked and the settings for the TV, We were short a few pillows and they immediately replaced them. There were no steps to get in for us, well liked and the fact they took in pets also for us. Normally most hotels do not take pets any more, Most important the woman in charge were both extraordinary.
- brandon (10/5): - Hotel is very clean and in good condition. Staff is extremely kind and helpful. We had a pet and they easily took her in and she was very comfortable. We needed extra towels and they immediately brought them. We had an amazing time!
- adam (10/5): - Our TV was new but we could not figure out how to get it on, they came in a few minutes and showed us how to operate it, spent about 20 minutes to make sure we were OK with it. Nice Job! Room was very large with 3 queen beds and large bath with new bedding and the smell was wonderful in the room. Next morning I loved the shopping that was available on main street and a McDonalds was within walking distance. Everything was clean, no frills, but a great place to stay..
- angie (10/5): - Its really nice here, especially the price. The toilet was noisy but they fixed it immediately. The room was cozy and appropriate for the price I paid. Only 15 minutes to Cooperstown ,everything was well maintained, very clean and a friendly staff made our stay quiet and relaxing,
- amber (10/5): - Clean neatly kept property. Staff was excellent and very helpful, Needed to see some menus staff brought me back a handful of local restaurants. check-in was simple and the map to our room was a great touch! It's really nice here, especially at this price. Excellent accommodations will be back.
- thoma (10/5): - Very nice upgraded room with Kitchen available. Includes fridge, stove and microwave. All bedding and mattresses newer and very comfortable. Off street parking, easy to find on map, friendly staff,, I greatly recommend for a special night together.
- anastacia (10/5): - Very clean and neatly kept property. Room was very large and a brand new fireplace with gas heat was just installed with a beautiful wood mantle and easy turn on operation. Stayed for the woman's hockey games being played in Utica. Saw US vs Canada and all the local rooms were full. Some others came out to stay and are all very pleased with the operation of the town house. I would stay here again.
- Alex (10/5): - I was with a large dog and there are pet friendly rooms available that worked out amazing well. There for the eclipse and had a great view from the front lawn. My room had a new fireplace that was just beautiful. Very Cozy and comfortable. Highly recommend.
- Angus (10/5): - Staff was excellent and very helpful, interior has been renovated. Liked the 3 queen beds in our room with all new linens. Check in was simple and the map to our room was very detailed. It is really nice here, especially at this price. Most rooms are also pet friendly.
- felix (10/5): - Clean, comfy, they carried our bags to the room, staff is great. They are always cleaning, I love that. Excellent facility, staff, location, restaurants, no complaints at all. Our room was also pet friendly.
- Khadar (10/5): - Welcoming and Attentive staff were outstanding here. Close to attractions and plenty of off street parking. Comfortable bed, clean room, free WIFI. Close to restaurants and shops. I will definitely stay again when I am heading to Richfield Springs.
- Romanski (10/5): - We needed a room with 3 beds and the room met those needs with 3 queen beds and private bath. Easy entry with no steps since one of us is handicapped. Our stay was great and we try to make it back each year when we visit relatives in Richfield Springs.
- Valerie (2/5): - It was listed as pet friendly with pictures of a completely different Hotel and address. My 13 year old, 90 pound dog had to be carried upstairs. It was so inconvenient we had to bring her home over an hour away. I then had to drive back and forth from a 3 day weekend wedding celebration. The room was slanted and couldn’t set anything down without it sliding away. They never cleaned the room
- Marsha (4/5): Boarding House - not a hotel - It was not made clear to us in our confirmation email that we needed to check in at the nearby The Baseball Hotel. We had to reach out to the number provided twice to get this information.
We also did not realize that we would be expected to share a small common room with another family (no TV in our room).
We refused to accept the room and arrangements but was offered a choice of rooms in The Baseball Hotel. Our room was small with 2 beds, 1 dresser, TV, small closet, private bath, and a window air conditioner. The room was clean but the shower did not work.
Disappointingly, there was no food or beverage options available in the downstairs dining room, despite the presence of a buffet table and coffee machine.
- Anastasia (10/5): 10 out of 10! - Such a quaint & unique place with beautiful grounds, but the best part is the owner who is exceptionally kind & caring!
- karen (8/5): - Disappointed the wifi in our room didn't work. Explained to the staff the next day and they did not know of the problem or we would have been moved to a different room.
All in all a very memorable experience.
- Tissy (2/5): - Wifi and tv not operational as advertised the host was unresponsive Keys to common area hanging outside on a post. Banging all night and threadbare. Worst stay ever.
- Stephen (10/5): - Check-in was fast and easy. Room was modern and clean. Very quiet and comfortable.
- Sandra (4/5): - Clean but probably not updated since the 1940's. Property owners not present, they left a note with instructions taped to the reception desk. Creepy, reminded us of the Bates hotel.
- JENNI (2/5): - This property was terribly misrepresented. It was beyond run down. The pictures make it seem like it was just renovated. The outside is practically rotting, there are weeds everywhere and it smells like mildew and mold even from the outside. On the inside, the bedding looked like it was bought 25yrs ago, no bed skirts on the mattresses, pillows that looked equally as old. There is one small window A/C but it wasn't on and the room was hot and musty. We actually not able to make ourselves stay there and probably won't be reimbursed for our stay. We booked the hotel an hour before we arrived from the road as we were looking last minute and would have NEVER stayed there had we seen what the area and hotel really looked like. There were abandoned houses next to the property and a car was parked there with an expired tag from 2017 with mold growing all over the car. It seemed like we had been punked acutally.
The front desk person was very nice and understanding. She gave us the number for the owner who, of course, never answered our call, however. This was literally the WORST place we had ever experienced. I am going to reach out to Expedia to see if they can refund us any of our $180.
WHATEVER YOU DO, PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!! Or if you decide to stay here, make sure that you are aware of what you are getting. This hotel also has a "shared" area with a TV, sink and coffee pot. We weren't told that in the description. Just so weird! Just really bad!
- Michael J (8/5): - I was not sure what the room would actually be like from the pictures. I was personally pleased. The accommodations were good. I did notice that the lack of hot water in the sink, and I told them about it and they said they would get it fixed.
- Amy (2/5): - We will never stay here again and would strongly recommend that you do not stay here either.
There are no deadbolts on the room doors. One member of our party lost his room key. We called the front desk emergency number and they told us to use a butter knife to break into the room.
There was a running water sound - probably a toilet leaking- that continued through the night 15 seconds on… 15 seconds off. Maddening!!
We weren’t sure the sheets were clean. The bed was so poorly made that the sheets were wrinkled . My top sheet did not even match the fitted sheet.
The woman at the front desk was nice, but the coffee she makes is sure to burn a hole in your stomach.
- Joshua (10/5): - Place was great, quiet, clean and well put together in terms of character. The only thing i might add is a little outdoor space, but very happy overall and would stay again.
- Abraham (10/5): - Close to many local restaurants and grocery stores. The town house motel is very clean, felt safe and comfortable. Rooms are small but offer what is necessary for a short trip. Staff looks to work very hard to maintain the rooms and property. We enjoyed our stay.
- andrea (10/5): - We arrived late with a pet using a self check-in which I thought would not go well. However it was very easy and quick, no waiting. We really enjoyed our stay. The place is perfect for its cleanliness and comfort. Our key broke in the lock but they came in 10 minutes and replaced it quickly. The Wifi was extremely fast and worked excellent for streaming. There are grocery stores, gas stations, antique stores, beautiful park all within a few blocks. Staff gave some good info on local eating places. I would book again if in the area.
- angie (10/5): - Our brief stay was perfect. The rooms and facilities were very clean and well appointed. Very much enjoyed the stay and would stay again. Nice property. As advertised.
- Angus (10/5): - I checked in with little kids and staff were so helpful and friendly. Charming place with beautiful surroundings. It is an older property from the 1800s, like all the others in the area. We needed an affordable place to stay while we did sight seeing for a weekend in this beautiful area. I would book again if in the area.
- amici (10/5): - We had an awesome stay here, the bed was comfortable, perfect size for my wife and I. The hotel room and the staff at the property were excellent. We lost our remote and it was replaced in 20 minutes! We will definitely be back!
- roberta (10/5): - The staff was very friendly. 20 mins from the main downtown area of Cooperstown. I have a dog who loved the large outdoor areas for walking. Spacious quiet room. Comfortable beds. Easy access to Cooperstown. Will be back again in the Fall.
- Ellen (4/5): - I was hesitant to book this place based on reviews, but hoped for the best… Unfortunately, I was not pleasantly surprised . The floors needed sweeping, the bathroom was dirty and the tub had obviously not been cleaned since the last use. We had brought our own sheets - and I’m glad we did!
Positives: the woman who checked us in was very friendly and the bed was fairly comfortable.
- Joanne (6/5): - The outside was a little more rundown than I'd expected but the rooms were newly renovated. The upstairs townhouse rooms were very small and I didn't expect that either. Also, there was a shared kitchen and TV. No TVs in the rooms. On the other hand, when we found that our room had no hot water, we were quickly assigned a bigger, better room with hot water. Also, I had lost an earring in the room and the staff found it for me. That was greatly appreciated.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Gene was very helpful and responsive.
- Veronica (2/5): - Nasty
- claire (10/5): - We loved our stay at the Town House Hotel. The room was comfortable and clean! The rooms had a large kitchen fully equiped with appliances and dishes with a dining area. Perfect location for walking to the Park, historic Library, Antiqe shops and restaurants. Hotel is a wonderful little place in a gorgeous spot in Richfield Springs.
- Hilary (10/5): - An older but obviously updated townhouse hotel from the 1800's within walking distance to the lake. We enjoyed an evening stroll through the town. The room was small but comfortable and very clean. There was a full kitchen with stove, frig, and microwave. I made cookies in the oven and there was a beautiful scent throughout the building. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
- andrea (10/5): Town House was originally sulfur bath house - Rooms were spacious. There was a glitch with the microwave and the owner immediately came out and fixed it for us. He had a wealth of information about the area and the town houses, they were originally sulfur bath houses in the 1800s thru 1970s. The room was large, clean, and as comfortable as home. We had a wonderful stay, and there was a large living room with a widescreen TV. Would gladly recommend and only 10 miles to Cooperstown.
- theresa (10/5): Tremendous staff and location - Tremendous staff, location, accommodations, and lake rights! The beds are cozy and the sheets are so soft. We loved it so much and hope, if you are headed to Cooperstown, you will see if there is a room for you at this hotel. Truly a wonderful experience and I can't recommend it highly enough!
- kathy (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at the Townhouse Hotel and really enjoyed the rustic feel. Easy 15 minute drive to Baseball Hall of Fame and surrounding areas of interest. Well appointed rooms with comfortable bedding. Customer service went beyond expectations. We needed a new TV remote and got one immediately. I will book here next time I come to Cooperstown.
- adam (10/5): - Lovely cared for property located within walking distance to everything. Caring and friendly staff. Very comfortable. Convenient location to local points of interest. Room and bathroom spacious and well appointed. We needed extra pillows and they were there in 5 minutes. We will highly recommend the; Town House Hotel, to everyone.
- Cynthia C. (6/5): - We did NOT get to stay here. They had not cleared the snow & there was no access so they put us in a different property they own.
The other property was ok, but since we had booked a ground floor accessible room, we were less than thrilled to find out we were going to have to deal with stairs or cancel our stay. It wasn't terrible there, but it was NOT ehat we booked.
- thoma (10/5): - Very good Town house. Clean rooms and bathrooms with nice lobby that included a full kitchen and appliances. Lots of space for large families. Evening staff, extremely welcoming and kind. Thank you also for locating my medication. Most appreciative!! Just minutes walking to great shopping, dining and most importantly a beautiful early 1800s Library on Main St. We can't say enough positive things.
- Alex (10/5): - Very clean. Friendly staff. We always chose to stay here when visiting Cooperstown and Utica. We were here for hockey playoffs in Utica. Staff was super nice, we ran into multiple employees and all were awesome. We were very close to restaurants and the main highway. The room was great with new mattresses! Very spacious for our family. The person working was incredibly nice and efficient.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Highly recommend for Cooperstown. - Hotel was clean and staff was capable and friendly. Our room was bigger than I expected and the cost was very reasonable. We had requested extra towels and pillows and they were all set for us.
Fridge and stove were spotless. Staff We’re very courteous and Friendly and Would Recommended highly to my friends visiting the Cooperstown area .
- roberta (10/5): - Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort, self check in was easy over the phone. Traveled with partner. Great place to stay close to the town! So many options! Really enjoyed our stay and would come back.
- Kimberly (2/5): - Thought we were going to fall through the floor in numerous spots. The bathroom door wouldn’t close. Other guests showed up at 11:30pm and the walls are so thin it sounded like they were in our room as they stomped up the stairs and all over their room. They then left equally as loudly at 7:30 am. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you want to get any sleep. The bed sagged in the middle and would have actually been comfortable for one person but for two we spent all night rolling into the center.
- Christopher (8/5): Renting a ROOM! not the whole Townhouse - Your renting a ROOM! yes, it's a Townhouse but you don't get the whole place. There is 5 rooms available to be rented and every one shares the TV in the living room. There is a kitchen for you to use which is great if staying long, like a week. You will need your own cooking oil etc. Pans and dishes are there, but they look old and dirty (even if it isn't ) Need shelves in the bathroom, no place to put our stuff. Our room was Room #1 at the end of the hall, farthest from the common area of living room and kitchen, 2 queen beds. Fortunately no one was there, but us so can't comment on noises. It was a little creepy since it was super quiet and the common doors to the outside is unlock. Once you close your bedroom door and lock it, just felt like a hotel room. Private bathroom and looks like it was re-done, so it was nice.
- Heather (4/5): Don't stay here - I would not recommend this place to anyone! The pictures make it look ok but when you pull up to it, it is a whole different place! We did not end up staying here! We felt very unsafe, the houses all around look dilapidated, there were police at one place, and the townhouse looked unclean and terrible. When we called the owners to try to get a refund, they were avoiding our calls and then just said no so we lost money on a place we didn't even stay in. Don't waste your money here.
- ruby (6/5): - It was rustic, clean, yet it not a nice property needs a lot of work tvs not working beds uncomfortable. The good thing was the staff they were so nice. Recomended only if no other stay around is available.
- Patrice (2/5): Worst Check in - It was a terrible experience. Took over an hour to check in. They couldn't find out reservations and after they finally put us in a room as we were unpacking and getting settled in they moved us again to another room.
- John (2/5): HOUSE OF HORRORS - The owner had no shirt on when he "greeted" me. Absolutely disgusting. Run down and dirty dump. I fled after one night.
- amici (10/5): One of our best stays near Cooperstown! - Town Houses have an old school charm to it and a very picturesque setting. The cleanliness of the room was excellent. The room was perfectly clean, and cozy. Direct access to Glimmerglass lake from the door of our room, twenty minutes drive to baseball hall of fame. Cellular service was spotty but we didn’t mind the time to relax away from tech. Wish we could have stayed longer. WIFI was excellent and available even outside. Our stay was very good and enjoyable, the staff was excellent!
- Verified traveler (4/5): There are better places - Room was uncomfortable floors uneven and it shows. Sheets are old probably recycled. Security is non-existent. Area is a 3/10 but seems safe in general.
- anasttacia (10/5): - This Town House is an 1850s Sulfur Bath House. The original tubs are over outside With beautiful flowers in them. Property is well kept and maintained for an older property. The staff were awesome I would recommend my family and friends to come here.
- Christopher (2/5): - The place was filthy, bugs on the floor. Looked like someone was sleeping in the bed before we arrived. Worse stay ever!!
- Cybel (10/5): - Our stay was perfect. Very clean room as well as the property. Very pleasant and quiet. Somewhat rustic, but I'm not complaining. Full Kitchen was available for us to use. Free Wifi, clean & a great location. Will definitely be back!
- german (10/5): Centrally located close to everything. - Great place, clean, friendly and close to everything. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with only a TV. Many restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. A lovely no frills hotel close to the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. We would definitely stay here again.
- Mike (10/5): Accommodations needed by power line company. - During the power failure in April in Otsego County many powerline men and woman used local hotel accommodations after working 12-16 hour shifts. We had the pleasure of staying at the Lake House Townhouses and were very satisfied with the rooms and meals. The staff welcomed us and made our stay very comfortable. We had stayed at one of the best hotels we used for weeks with all the power outages to restore.
- Mike (10/5): - Nice clean Town House with a great friendly staff. Convenient to services and close to the City of Oneonta.
We visited our son at Oneonta State for a sports program.
Close enough and they allow pets for a small fee. We a had a very enjoyable time.
