Los chicos en alberca muy atentos para vender y los restaurantes muy buenos La persona encargada de las sombrillas en área de playa, a cada rato te quiere cerrar las sombrillas porqué según hace viento. A few steps from the ocean. - Good people at the pool and restaurant area. - Complimentary coffee in the room - Excellent restaurants (a couple are closed down for the renovations, would have been nice to know) - Beautiful landscaping (great grounds crew) - On-site mini store, bar, pizzeria. - Beautiful pools (two big ones and also the smaller room pools) - Good cleanliness in general but lacking deep cleaning (E.g orange tint in tile) - Plenty of bath towels - The basic rooms are a good value for the cost. - Excellent A/C. It was a very hot week but we could always count on coming to the room to cool us down. - Renovations happening while we were there and no one told us. - Evening events were not taking place and we found out once we arrived. They were playing You Tube videos on a beach projector instead. - WiFi sucks, you lose connection all the time. - Front desk staff have zero customer service skills. Take it or leave it mentality. - No mini fridge. - Mid water pressure. Water does get hot but it takes a minute. - Dated rooms with very basic furniture. - Old mattress (Dips in the middle) - Very basic toiletries. - No luggage rack. - Having to call down for stuff such as fixing the safe. - Cheap hotel policy of charging you if you misplace/don’t return a pool towel, or room card. You also need a “paid up pass” to exit the property. Such policies cheapen the experience. - Some of the rooms they sell as “ocean-view” are partial/obstructed. You get a great view if you are in 2001 but not so much if you are in 2010. They should disclaim this info or price them differently. - If you are coming back in a taxi, they won’t let the car in to the roundabout by the lobby. You will need to walk from the street. That was ridiculous considering we gave our room number, name, and showed them our key. - No complimentary late check-outs. They have a cost. $800 pesos two hours, $1500 pesos for four hours. - Performance reviews for employees were held at a table nearby at one of the restaurants. It was a bit uncomfortable. - The cost of a deluxe room is comparable to that of the luxury hotels on Tangolunda Bay. So, if you are going to splurge on a nicer room (private pool) you can get access to a nicer property for the same cost going somewhere else

Miguel (9/5): - La zona de albercas es amplia, agradable y está limpia, el personal realiza la limpieza desde muy temprano para que todos puedan disfrutarlas, el acceso al mar está a unos pasos de las albercas, cabe mencionar que convive todo este espacio con los restaurantes que están al interior del hotel, de los cuales hay al menos 3 con vista a la playa. Si bien la experiencia que uno busca es la conexión con la naturaleza y estar mucho tiempo en las albercas, hay momentos del día en que uno quiere estar en la habitación ya sea por las altas temperaturas durante la tarde o simplemente para descansar, sin embargo, el servicio de WiFi es deficiente, casi no tienes señal, mismo caso en las pantallas, solo pudimos utilizar la tv por cable, pero no las aplicaciones, repito, no es la idea de venir a este hotel, pero se requiere en algunos momentos del día.

Nice clean rooms, decent wi-fi, relaxed atmosphere, two pools and a spa with reasonable prices. Excellent service throughout. This is our second visit and we will definitely come back. Can't think of anything really.

Nancy (8/5): Comfortable for a short stay. - The rooms and the entire facility was clean and well maintained. Our room was somewhat dark and dated. The only chair in the room was a wooden desk chair. A more comfortable chair would have been appreciated.
Deann (10/5): Beautiful location with wonderful amenities. - We love its location right on a beautiful beach yet close enough to walk to many places like Santa Cruz bay or La Crucecita. Chairs on the beach and around 2 pools. Wonderful service around the pools for drinks, food and helping to stay in the shade. Loved having breakfast at one of 2 restaurants looking out at the sea. Restaurants overall are very high quality plus there are lots of fantastic options within half a mile. We stayed in a room looking at the ocean with a plunge pool. Our room was kept very clean by staff. Paradise! Used to be easier to get a taxi right at the entrance. Now you might have to walk up the street or pay more.

Jennifer (7/5): Very nice hotel close enough to walk to town with direct access to Beach - We loved the location. You have direct beach access from the resort and it is close to town so everything is accessible with just a short walk! We had a king suite with private access. I was disappointed because I thought it would have a balcony but it did not just dirty widows to the ocean view. The room itself is very nice just thought that private access meant private access directly to the beach from the room thinking it had a balcony with stairs. Looking back I realize there aren’t any pictures of anything like that so i should have known. Just beware that private access means there is only one other door next to your door. The shower isn’t great but works. Just nothing luxurious about it. And the bed is just ok.
TravelHaus (10/5): First trip to Mexico and Huatulco and everything was absolutely amazing at Quinta Bella - The entire experience was wonderful and exceeded all our expectations as first time in Mexico/Huatulco, from the beach, pool, room, hotel, staff, restaurants, food quality. We'll definitely be returning. Didn't have the time or budget to stay longer

Simone (7/5): Stunning views, but ruined by "towel-tag" and an entitled crowd - The room itself was a highlight- genuinely spacious, impeccably clean, and featured a very comfy bed. Plus, the view was fantastic. The room layout is poorly optimized as there is an absurd amount of wasted space where a bar fridge could (and should) be. The pool area was a total disaster. It’s a sea of "reserved" chairs held by towels for hours with nobody actually using them. The hotel needs to implement a 30-minute removal policy to stop this. If you are under 50, I’d suggest staying elsewhere; the clientele is largely a group of complaining, entitled boomers, and the atmosphere reflects that. Unless you enjoy watching people claim territory they aren't using, look for a more modern spot.
Colleen (7/5): I would probably not stay here again - The location was really pretty and the staff was very courteous and nice. The internet was very poor and constantly was dropped our entire stay. We were told that airport transportation would be provided as part of our booking and included and it was not. We also requested a refrigerator to store medication in and they were unable to provide us with one.

Jan And Blair (9/5): Loved Quinta Bella! - We loved Quinta Bella! This is a lovely boutique hotel. Rooms are a good size and nicely decorated. Air conditioning worked well and there was a ceiling fan in the room too. The staff were all friendly, and helpful. Our room was kept sparkling clean by the amazing Petra! We had a garden view room. The only suggestion for the garden view rooms would be to have some towel racks or hooks added to the bathroom or the balcony. Our friends in the ocean view rooms had them. Lots of wet clothes to hang! Coffee and bottled water are supplied daily. Two pools are well kept and recently refurbished. Lots of chairs on deck or at beach level. Kudos to the staff who kept us fed and watered all day as we soaked up the sun. Beach is good. It has become quite steep, and red flags are out all the time, but many people were in the water on calm days. Probably too much for small kids though. Restaurants are all 10/10. You can pay by tap, card, cash or sign to room anywhere on property. It is a three block walk to the supermarket and about a 20-25 minute walk to the town square. Taxi to town square takes about 5 minutes. Very reasonably taxi prices. There is one small elevator on the property. Fits two with luggage. We really enjoyed our two week stay and will definitely return. Wifi was the worst we have experienced in a long time. We were in a garden view room. Our friends in an ocean view room had only slightly better connection. We asked at front desk and they said the entire “area” had bad service and there was nothing they could do. Did not matter what time of day, or in the middle of the night…it was sketchy. Only other suggestion would be to add hand rails to all your staircases. Would be very useful and much safer.

But they say it’s quite dangerous so that was a bit unfortunate to not use the beach as much as we wanted. Rooms were large and roomy. Although we had booked ours as a suite, but it is not actually a suite. It is just one hotel room. But they make it sound like it is a separate bedroom. Which it was not so that was a bit disappointing. But the rooms are nice and very accommodating although it would’ve been nice to have a sitting area. Nothing

Lillian (9/5): Relaxing place to spend a few days in Huatulco - Having the pool and beach in a resort that isn’t enormous feels lovely. Not too crowded, we saw cool wildlife from the jungle facing room, a tejon how exciting! As well as beautiful birds. The staff were extremely attentive and kind , very helpful and lovely. Also the food was delicious we had everything we needed without feeling the largess and general cattle hearding feel of an all inclusive.

It is ideally situated , completely self contained if you want to stay put but a short walk to Santa Cruz and Las Crucecitas….so there is nothing to dislike

The room was average. Food served poolside was very small portions and quite expensive. the restaurants served really good food but again expensive. The WIFI was not the best.
Jackie (8/5): Nice hotel. Note cautions about their tours. - Great location, comfortable room, beach and pools were good. Specifically, the tours offered on-site need improvement. We did the waterfall tour. It was more expensive than booking it online. The pros are they are small group (there were only 8 of us), an excellent driver who engaged with us in the waterfalls despite language barriers, and the van was comfortable. It also included a sauna (steam bath) back at the hotel -which was very nice. The cons are they have done no training with their so-called guides. Ours didn't even do the basics like introducing herself, offering drinks, letting us know about bathrooms etc. She gave no information at all about what we were doing. My husband and I actually debated as to whether she was the guide or the driver was giving her a lift somewhere. Also, if you're paying by credit card, make sure they don't automatically convert it to your home currency. I didn't notice that they'd done that and got significant service charges (that I wouldn't have paid if they had charged me in Mexican.)
