• Lori (9/5): We had a great trip and will most likely return in the future. - The staff is very friendly and helpful. The whole facility is very clean. The rooms are small but they are very clean as well and the beds are comfortable. The location is fantastic and felt very safe. The price was reasonable for a music festival weekend. Very easy access to the boardwalk and beach. I wish the pool was open later than 6pm. It doesn't leave any time for adults after the kiddos have gone in for the evening. 10pm would be much better for adult visitors on vacation.

• Jim (10/5): - Loved my stay at White Caps, not the most luxurious motel in Wildwood but the room was great for what we needed and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had a nice kitchenette with a stove and refrigerator, and the beds were king sized which is rare for a motel I’ve ever stayed at. It is a block and a half away from the boardwalk/beach which is amazing. We went in October so it was the off season but the price was unbeatable and they even upgraded our room for free. I will definitely look to stay there again in the future.

• Bonni (10/5): Great hotel - The owner was excellent! She called me several times to advise me when the room would be ready. As a handicapped person with mobility scooter I requested a first floor room. She made it happen. Would recommend the hotel to anybody. Parking was a little tuff.

• Wysocki (7/5): Pet friendly, great location, at a good price - The location is fantastic. Only 2 blocks from the boardwalk. They're pet friendly. Which is great because the dog park is within 4 blocks. Needs some minor upgrades.
• Ruth (10/5): Pet & Human Friendly! - The White Caps is pet & people friendly! Kate & her staff: Kat, Bruce, Teresa & others bend over backwards to accommodate & welcome all guests. Any needs or wants any guest request & the staff delivers! The accomodations are clean, comfortable, there are kitchens available & lots of sleeping spots in every room. The rates are family friendly as well & one gets great bang for their buck! It's a lovely & quaint motel/hotel built in 1959 & we love it!

My toilet rocked, towels are horrible, and we hate that there is no ice machine! The dog fee is not huge which is great!

• Zerelda (10/5): - We have been going to Wildwood and staying at the White Caps motel every summer since 2021 and it has always been a great experience. The motel itself is quite standard, but it’s super close to the boardwalk and in such a convenient location. We also love the pool and the staff at the motel. We’ll be back next year.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great service. Very nice people. - The staff went above and beyond to make us happy. There were a few hiccups in the rooms. Nothing we couldn't live with. Room 11 the electrical outlets in the middle of the room would not hold a plug. I could, however, plug in my phone on computer by the door. There was also wire behind my toilet after I took a shower. But i'm pretty sure it came from the toilet valve. Not dirty water. Room 9 smelled like bug spray. But it was more updated than room 11. Most of the hotels around were very expensive around three hundred dollars a night. We paid under $200 for this one. So i'm pretty happy with the price versus value. The pool was nice and clean and they even offered to let us keep the parking spots as till three as long as we were out of the rooms by check out time. Free of road parking and they even give us extra towels right away for the pool, because they knew the kids wanted to go swimming. We didn't have a pet but pets were allowed and my room did not smell like pets at all. Lots of people brought their dogs. The rooms had microwave and refrigerators. The a/c was nice and cold It was clean. Ice machine was broken. Still worth 4 stars.

• Matthew (4/5): - Our room was awful. The layout made no sense and made it hard to not bump into each other every two seconds. The bed was very uncomfortable and poor quality. The toilet’s flushing system was suspect at best and the supplied toilet paper was as thin and flimsy as cotton candy. The only good thing was that the air conditioner did work. Would never stay here again.

• Ed (10/5): Great Motel for the price! - Staff was awesome to my kids! The room was standard but very clean. The Motel grounds were fairly kept up! The pool/pool area was very clean and up to date. Parking was good! Cannot complain for the price! I would stay here again! Most things to do were within walking distance. Lots of things to do in the area! Wish they would at least offer a simple breakfast! No Internet in the rooms. (Had Wi-Fi outside and by pool area)

Per friendly Bed was horrible felt like a trampoline. If you turned the light off the TV went off. Operated on same switch. Couch was from the 70s and sound like a whoopee cushion when you sat in it.

• Jean (10/5): - My family has been coming here since the 1970's when I was a child, Later in the 1990's my sister and I brought our families here and now 2025 we continue coming. One hiccup back in 1917 during Irish weekend we had disruptive "neighbors" who played loud music late into the night (speaker set on a table outside our suite) and left their alcohol bottles (glass) all along the upper level walkway. This was not cool. Mentioned it to the man at check out, but he didn't seem concerned. We didn't go back for a few years but then decided to return and glad we did. This stay was much better. :)

• Kira (8/5): It's better than it used to be, Don't believe the show still - The room was large and clean, and the bed was surprisingly comfy though soft. The parking was on the property, and the location was very close to the boardwalk. Pool was fun and was open until 10, perfectly reasonable time as the kids were gone by then, and most people were in their rooms. I only saw the main staff when checking in, but she was lovely and let us know our room had the router in it, so we'd have great signal. The reviews about the water being either hot or cold are true, parking is very limited so if you have more than 1 car, someone will have to park on the road. The third bed is in the main living room area of the room and not a sofa bed, which was weird but not the end of the world. The pool is kinda small but was big enough for 7 of us to be in there and have room to mess around. The TV remotes in the living room area didn't seem to do anything, so we were changing the channel via the tv itself... we also kept bumping into the tv when passing it before we just shifted it out the way so it was safer

• OSTRON (8/5): - Easy to get to from the Garden State Parkway. Parking on property. Clean room, comfortable bed and good AC. I was there for a show at Seaport Pier and it was a 10 minute walk from White Caps. Theresa checked me in and being it was my first time at Wildwood she pointed out some great food and shopping in the area. Great all around experience.

• John (8/5): Great little motel .. - Location is great .very close to both dog parks and Dog Beach ..the staff.. particularly Kat and Kate were awesome and were very friendly to my dog Gypsy .. our room was great .. 1st floor perfectly shaded .and provided great cover for sitting outside during intense sunshine and T-Storms ..the pool was heated and warm 😁. And there IS an ice machine .. Not much to complain about really .. ..the area around our front door COULD stand a good power wash . And the bathroom was very small .. but I’d rather have more room space than a bigger bathroom lol..the WiFi didn’t Work too good inside the room..(my son’s input 😝) which has been typical in every motel I’ve stayed at in Wildwood ..
• Karla (6/5): - The motel has a good location, and the pool is small. However, they need to improve their cleanliness significantly. There was a lot of dust behind the beds, the linens covering the mattress looked very dirty and had moisture stains, and the lamp looked very dirty and had moisture stains. The air conditioner didn't have a remote control.
• John (6/5): - Room was clean but dated. Our room had 2 beds which made the room tight. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great. Beds were comfortable. Only 2 hangers in the closet. There was only 1 small bar of soap provided and no tissues. No coffee maker. No cups or glasses were provided. Super small microwave. Parking was a premium. We were afraid to drive anywhere and lose our spot but easy walk to many things. Apparently, the hotel is pet friendly. Every other room seemed to have a dog. Which was not a problem. It would be good choice with a pet.

The staff was extremely friendly and very courteous. I also like that it was pet friendly so I was able to bring my two guinea pigs. There was an issue with the TV and the microwave not working, but it was taken care of as swiftly as they were able to. I would definitely stay there again. The beds could have been more comfortable. Other than that, it was a very pleasurable stay.

• Joseph (4/5): - The room was very outdated and dirty, hand prints on walls in bedroom and bathroom. The room above us was extremely loud with thuds all throughout the night because the ceiling was a drop ceiling so you could hear everything. There were drunks yelling at each other at night. Kids were jumping from second story balcony into the pool and splashed us as we were leaving for dinner and not in pool area so we had to change. The window to the room had no lock on it so someone could just slide it open and come in anytime they wanted as well as the bathroom not having a working lock on the door. WIFI was AWFUL didn’t work ever and there were no chairs to sit outside your room only chairs in the pool area and half of them were broke so when you sat in them you almost fell. Over all the staff was so very nice but the hotel itself was really rundown and sloppy.

Found the pool hours to be odd and the room next door the door was open until very late like they were airing it out or forgot to close it bc it was not occupied. Very loud scary guest drinking in a few rooms the yelling and throwing bottles.
