We liked the food quality and quantity - we had the continental breakfast each day which gave plenty of choice. The coffee was good . Any questions were dealt with immediately. A very enjoyable experience and hopefully I will be staying again in the future. Nothing not to like.
- David (9/5): We were delighted with our stay and we would be very happy to go there again - Breakfast was very good - exactly as described, the dinner menu had good variety of choice and was generous and tasty, the room was adequate, but just a littler musty - it needed a good air. We had 2 dogs with us and we were very happy with the arrangements. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

One of the bunk bed rooms had no window, the main room with the double bed only had a door for ventilation, we always sleep with an open window. We used the window in the other room.

- Joanna (6/5): - Great location about a 15 minutes to Alton Towers, lovely staff, clean We booked the dog and partridge because it looked cozy and added bonus it was offering a free breakfast and not far to Alton Towers, however it was a bit misleading it should say continental breakfast, and we thought we were staying in the main pub, I can only describe them as little summer houses/ outhouse, to the side of the pub nowhere in the description did it say.
- jayne (7/5): - Location Accomodation behind pub looked a bit like holiday camp chalets and dated but were clean and warm. Continental breakfast included but cooked breakfast extra. Food variable sometimes good and other times disappointing - over cooked vegetables and pie lacking in gravy.

Great to have car right next to room and a lot quieter than a hotel because rooms spaced out It was a little chilly in the room and took some time to warm up with the electric heater. Also electric heater was right under curtains was a little worrying!

Room was not checked properly before arrival so there was no hot water to have a shower in the morning. Breakfast was apparently included in the price but only from the cold buffet, hot food was extra.

- Todman (10/5): Welcomed with smiles! They went Over & beyond! - Breakfast was included it was a continental breakfastwhich was outstanding I’ve never had one with so much choice! They also had a full English and other hot choices and for vegetarians and vegans for only £6.50 which we thought was great value for money! Special touch the hotel messaged me telling me to call them when leaving Alton Towers so that if we wanted food, they could pre-order it for us and it will be cooking while on our journey and our table was booked! Never had this before at any other hotel. And welcomed with big smiles, amazing staff.! well done dog and Partridge! We will be back! When booking the hotel, I did a compare prices of three different companies booking.com was who I chose to go with they were the most expensive but when booking it wasn’t clear that the breakfast was continental, so I believed it was a cooked breakfast included! The other two companies I was comparing with less pricey but clearly stated continental breakfast so this is why I went for booking.com. This isn’t the hotels fault but we were not disappointed with the breakfast at all as the continental was outstanding and having a cooked breakfast was well worth the money.

- Rebecca (10/5): A lovely stay, very close to Alton Towers - A lovely stay, very close to Alton Towers. The staff were lovely & the continental breakfast varied & suited us well. The rooms are separate "chalets" with allocated parking spaces next to each front door. We were concerned that staying in a pub may be noisy, but had a very peaceful night's sleep! The beds were very comfy & the family room spacious enough for 2 adults & 2 teenage kids (as long as they are happy in bunk beds!) The rooms are very dated & could do with a freshen up. They could also do with a really thorough clean, the corners etc. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay.

- Louise (7/5): A great affordable one night place to stay on a visit to Alton Towers or for walking locally. - The staff were lovely and the people that ran the place were very welcoming and helpful. They accommodated our dogs and tried to make our stay as good as possible. The mattress was very uncomfortable in the bedroom and the rooms were very small but it was fine for 1 night but couldn't have stayed any longer.
