• Laura (9/5): - Ubicado en mitad de una reserva nacional. Sensación de ser parte de turismo responsable con el medio y las comunidades de la zona. Todo el personal muy atento, pertenece a las comunidades cercanas. Se realizan varias excursiones al día. Habitación amplia, limpia y bonita. Comida casera en todas las comidas, bien buena. Nada!

Respect for the surroundings and a unique atmosphere of serenity in the greenest place in the world. Worth every penny. Luggage ches and amazing tours included every day .
• Paula (10/5): Todas las comodidades en medio del Amazonas - Increíble lodge en medio del Amazonas lo que permite disfrutas de las vistas y fauna pero con todas las comodidades No hay electricidad en las habitaciones. Es comprensible pero quizás sobre todo para poder secarte el pelo estaría bien contar con ello o con un espacio en la zona común para poder optar a ello

• Hayley (10/5): Immersed in the real Amazonas - Completely immersed in nature waking up to the sounds of birds and monkeys, deeply connecting to Pachamama. I loved how ethical and respectful the tours were for wildlife, and the group size was always small. Had the most amazing guide, Melisa, who openly shared so much knowledge and experience of the Amazonas that made the whole adventure even richer. Her enthusiasm and excitement for howler monkeys was infectious and it is very clear how passionate she is about the plants and animals here. The staff did an amazing job catering for me (vegan) it was no trouble for them they knew exactly what I could and couldn't eat and made sure I was always satisfied. It seemed a bit pricey, but when you add up all the food, tours and experience I would definitely say it was worth it and I much prefer to be staying here in the heart of the rainforest than the chaos of Iquitos :) Unfortunately I didn't get to see a big Anaconda... So I guess I will have to come back!
• Shanna (10/5): Magical - Lovely setting that felt safe but also connected to nature. You’ll automatically get signed up for excursions with a guide shared between you and anyone else who speaks your language that arrived that day. About 1 out of 3 excursions will be hiking and 2 out of 3 will be by boat. 4d3n was perfect, but the most exciting excursions were captured in the 3d2n plan, and if you stay longer you spend a night camping. Food is buffet style, and they accommodate dietary restrictions well. Maybe we lucked out but January was a great time to visit! Highly recommend this lodge!
• Maria Victoria (10/5): Excelente estadía - El Muyuna se diferencia de otros lodges porque está en una reserva que aún se conserva en muy buen estado, en un río, tributario del Amazonas con poco movimiento. Es estar en medio de la naturaleza prístina. Las cabañas son muy lindas y cómodas. El personal es muy amable, todo el tiempo tratan de solucionar cualquier inconveniente que surja y responden rápido a cada pedido. Hay actividades todo el tiempo: paseos en bote para ver aves, visita a una comunidad ribereña ( no son indígenas) cercana, caminatas nocturnas para ver y escuchar animales, etc. Todo bien controlado. Los guías se asignan a cada grupo o persona que viaja sola en exclusividad y los acompaña en toda la estadía. En mi caso, tuve la suerte de que mi guía fuera Alberto, el más conocedor de los guías de Muyuna, un lugareño que es un compendio de conocimientos sobre la flora y la fauna, siempre muy atento y cuidadoso. Volvería al Muyuna en la estación seca o verano porque al haber tanta humedad en la estación de lluvias, los mosquitos eran insoportables. Resisten al mejor repelente! Sin embargo, las cabañas están cubiertas de malla, no hay insectos adentro.

• Sharon (10/5): Brilliant adventure - The location was amazing. Great to have so much wildlife around you. Meandering down the Amazon river each day was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved spotting all the sloths, monkeys and various birds from the boat and also when we did a trail in the jungle. Seeing an ant eater up close climbing a tree was a highlight as well as the pink dolphins. Our guide , Larissa was excellent. The lighting in the room could be brighter but I understand the eco side and wanting to use less electricity.

• Corinna (9/5): - Das Erlebnis mitten im Dschungel zu sein mit fachkundigen Guides war einfach einzigartig.. Larissa hat die Touren an unsere Wünsche angepasst. Wir fanden das Essen abwechslungsreich genug und haben mitbekommen, dass auf einzelne Vorlieben (keine Tomaten oder Ohne Zwiebel z.B.) Rücksicht genommen wurde. Die Zimmer waren sauber und die Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt. Als Tipp: lieber zwei , drei Shirts mehr einpacken, weil es wirklich seeeeehr schwül werden kann. Die Moskitonetze waren alle in Takt , weshalb man nachts kein Mückenspray brauchte. Tagsüber sind wir mit Spray von Antibrumm und langen HELLEN Klamotten sehr gut zurecht gekommen. Sehr zu empfehlen für ein rundum-sorglos-Paket! Für zwei Leute war unser Bett etwas eng, aber für drei Nächte ging das auch ;)

• Alba (10/5): Excelente experiencia de estancia en la selva - La localización, las excursiones, la amabilidad y conocimiento del guía Ángel. La preocupación por la comunidad local. Nuestra primera noche tuvimos unos vecinos que estuvieron de fiesta. Hubiera sido deseable un control algo más estricto.
• Anna (9/5): Experiencia única en medio del amazonas - La experiencia que ofrecen es única, por estar en un lugar remoto del amazonas las instalaciones están muy bien, la cama es comoda y las habitaciones tienen lo necesario. Todas las excursiones que realizan permiten observar flora y fauna en su habitat y respetan mucho el medioambiente. Además la amabilidad de todo el staff y el guía hacen que la estancia sea aún mejor Las opciones de comida no son muchas, pero en general estaba todo bueno.

• Andrea (10/5): Sound of the Amazon ! - Away from everything, on a reserve , great guide Cesar! We got to see wild life at its own habitat, trips at night were amazing! We got to swim where some pink dolphins (boto) was jump around. Felt very safe, slept very well, food was good. The staff were great and very helpful! The company let you keep your bags at their agency before flight some you get to see Iquitos for a few hours. Amazing trip, very memorable. None
• Clara (10/5): - The lodge is incredible, was saw way more animals than expected! Our guide Nixon was absolutely amazing and the activities are well thought out, diverse and fun! The lodge was super comfortable, fruits, coffee, tea and kajaks were always at our disposal. The staff is super attentive, there is even one person in charge for complaints and suggestions and he asked us multiple times if we needed something and how our activities were going. There was only one chair in our bungalow.

• Shawn (10/5): Look no further, stay here to experience the jungle and Amazon river. Mosises guide was great! - All the meals were great and authentic to the area,good variety. The four days were all scheduled from morning to night which we loved. So much to experience from nocturnal jungle hikes and going out in the nocturnal hunt canoe ride. Many boat excursions, swam near pink dolphins, caught several piranha fish, saw many species unique to the area. Birdwatching. Took out the kayak and paddle board during our 2 hour afternoon rest. The remote private bungalows were so comfortable and clean. Loved resting in the hammock on our balcony. Guide Mosises spoke English well , very knowledgeable and grew up in the area. Flew to Iquito, had hotel pick up, a van drove part way before loading the boat to go down the Amazon river to our remote lodge 140 km upstream from Iguito. Very easy all inclusive experience. The four days went by too quickly!

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything about the stay at Muyuna Lodge was amazing! Everyone was very friendly, the transportation to and from the lodge was scenic and well-coordinated, and the cabin was the the most comfortable place I stayed at while in Peru.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent exclusive Amazon experience! - I chose Muyuna Lodge based on their responsible way of giving their guests a great Amazon experience! They respect the wildlife, and treat them just as such - wild. Any lodge who offers you to cuddle with a sloth should raise red flags. Most of Muyuna's staff are employed from the neighbouring village and as such they give back to the community! The treks, boat rides, tour guides, staff, remote location, and FOOD was all amazing! We saw lots of wildlife! Muyuna may be a little bit pricier than the other lodges but well worth the extra money!
• Richard (10/5): Great lodge in the jungle. - Terrific jungle lodge 70 miles into the Amazon. Lots of activities and comfortable living. It's not cheap but well recommended.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great jungle adventure - Our stay at the lodge was great. The room was a bungalow in the jungle where you can hear the animals of the jungle--a very unique experience. There were hammocks off the back of the hut that were great for relaxing and reading. The entire experience was very organized, from our hotel pick-up in Iquitos all the way through our stay. The price may seem expensive at first, but the multiple daily amazon tours, food, and transportation was all included--and it was definitely worth the price. Our guide was very experienced--we saw so many Amazonian animals and birds. It was one of the best travel experiences of my life and I felt we truly experienced the Amazon for everything it had to offer.
