- SuperB16 (8/5): Clean, comfortable and convenient - Overall, I’d give this hotel 4.667 stars (reason below). The hotel is located in a safe area near a modern, more upscale mall. The lobby is clean and modern and staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, water pressure was great in the shower, beds were comfortable, and everything was perfect. We left before breakfast, but coffee was always available in the lobby and was good as far as hotel coffees go. The only part of the hotel that I took issue with was the pool floor. It seemed dirty and could use a fresh coat of paint..it just gave me the “ick.” If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay, this is it!

I had to drive around for 2days out of town with aa busted window because no one mentioned the parking lot wasnt safe for the vehicles, the police even said it happens alot there

- Millard (10/5): Decent besides keeping breakfast full and rude staff. - It was clean The breakfast was good but the staff wouldn’t keep it out and then she was rude when my daughter asked if they would put another cartridge in the pancake machine. All she done was ask and the lady told her no more pancakes for the day. It was over an hour before the breakfast ended.

- 951byronb (10/5): Arrived dead tired - I arrived extremely tired (after 25 hours of flying), I was barely able to file out the desk forms and staff handled my arrival perfectly.
- Marquise (8/5): Ok stay - The check in/out process was seamless. However, we decided to extend our stay by a day which required us to checkout and in again. Was told it was due to the fact that we used a third party for our reservation. The food was ok. Minimum options available. Would have liked more. The bread was hard each day, the ‘freshly made’ pancakes were hard too. Not sure if it was due to the ingredient ratio or the machine used. The kitchen staff spoke little English, so there were times they seemed harsh and annoyed in their interactions. No comment on housekeeping since we kept or DND sign up but received extra towels when requested. Did not use hotel transportation. No issues with internet connection. Beds were comfortable. Room was spacious and relatively clean. Lobby was always clean and quiet even during the weekend breakfast which included a large crowd.

- Timothy (8/5): - Good: -Front desk staff was very nice and helpful -Beautiful lobby. -Small gym, but good equipment and well maintained. -Same with pool... small, but serviceable for the kiddos. -Easy, plentiful parking. -Spacious, comfortable room with nice furnishings, comfy bed, and two USB ports for charging. -In terms of food quality, breakfast was really solid Needs Improvement: -If a hotel switches to soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the shower, they MUST make sure they are working at ALL times. Out soap dispenser was broken. -They need to replace the woman they have doing breakfast and change their hours so they open at 6:AM instead of 7:AM. They literally keep it roped off until 7:AM, and on Saturday, the woman wasn't even ready at 7:AM. But I had to get my kids to their sports tournament. She would not let me grab some stuff to go at 6:55 AM, and then barked at me when I crossed the rope to grab some cinnamon buns to go at precisely 7:AM. When we got back at 12:30 PM, she was there cleaning up and I asked if I could have three little milk containers for the kids because the fridge was still locked at 7:AM, and she said "No. Closed." We went down the next day at 7:15 AM, and it was open but she was still not finished and setting up. Not the kind of person you want running the breakfast operation.

The paint is peeling off in chunks from the floor to the point it comes off on your feet and gets into the pool. Kids had small and large paint chips on their face. Parking is not adequate. Spaces are small and if the hotel is full you have to use spaces in other lots not marked for the hotel, so you are unsure if your car will be towed overnight.

- Maps35733429517 (2/5): NOT pet friendly - We were required to stay at this hotel for a soccer tournament. When we arrived, we brought our small, 9 pound Pomeranian. Despite Trip Advisor saying this hotel is pet friendly, it is NOT. When I checked in, I was told to read what was highlighted in yellow on the dosclosure. I did. After seeing my kiids outside, the front desk clerk disabled the key cards, so my my 11 and 12 year old children could not get back in after taking our dog outside to the bathroom. She called my room after that and said the dog couldn't be there. She claimed it was in the disclosure. I was given no options (apparently the alternative to leaving is a $300 cleaning fee), so we left the hotel at 10 pm and was told we would be charged for the night. When I asked for the disclosure, I was not allowed to take the original color copy and was given a black and white copy instead. I noticed that there was suddenly a new blue highlight on the paper that was not there when I signed the disclosure originally. Spend a little extra and stay at the Courtyard Marriott Northlake right down the street. They ARE pet friendly, and were absolutely lovely and pleasant to a frazzled, single, soccer Mom with two kids and a small dog checking in after 10 pm.
