The first one was very good and quite spacious. The second one had a balcony and was smaller but still quite good. The staff were the best we found in Vietnam. Afternoon tea was a nice treat and the pool area is excellent as well. No problems at all.

We stayed here for my partner and I’s anniversary, and the staff beautifully decorated our room. From the images I’ve seen of the rooms, for the Sanctuary Executive room, it seemed like the room was very large and spacious. However, in person it was smaller than expected. Still, the room had adequate space for 2 check in luggage and 2 carry on. It was just different from my initial expectation.

• Steurer (9/5): Grossartig, unpassende Reaktion der Hotelrezeption - Grossartiges Hotel in guter Lage, zudem toll dekoriert anlässlich des chinesischen Neujahrsfestes. Es gibt absolut nichts auszusetzen. Ich wurde Opfer eines kriminellen Taxiscams am Flughafen Saigon auf der Fahrt zum Hotel mit körperlicher Bedrohung und finanziellem Betrug. Der Betrag von 1.580000 dong wurde mir bei versperrten Taxitüren aus der Hand gerissen. Ich hatte ein Video mit dem Kfz-Kennzeichen. Ich schilderte es der Rezeptionsdame, weil sie nach meinem Befinden fragte, in der Hoffnung, einen Rat zu bekommen. Sie lachte nur und meinte, unter 2 Mio hätte es keinen Sinn, die Polizei zu kontaktieren und meinte, das nächste Mal würde ich es wohl besser wissen. Diese Reaktion war für mich zu diesem Zeitpunkt absolut unpassend.

Felt like nothing was too much trouble.. Very comfortable room, very relaxing. Roof top bar and pool was small but had plenty of beds and good atmosphere. Lots of guests mixing and chatting. Loved the Japanese toilet! Found the dim lighting an issue sometimes. Nothing that i didn’t like but I would suggest switching up the choices in the afternoon tea. Or give guests an option to have more sweet or savoury options.

The bath tub shower was splashing water everywhere, it just needed a slightly larger glass panel.

It’s a Japanese theme throughout and the roof top pool and bar is a great escape from the street and also has a sauna. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel genuinely welcomed, cared for, and valued as a guest. During my stay, I unfortunately fell sick and bed ridden for 3 days, developing a bad cold from back home. This is where the team at Silverland Sakyo truly went above and beyond. The care, concern, and kindness shown to me was incredibly touching. The staff regularly checked on me, made sure I was comfortable, helped with anything I needed, and genuinely looked out for my wellbeing. It felt less like staying in a hotel and more like being cared for by family. I would like to extend a very special thank you to Nih, Sophie, Sam, Thuy, Anh, Khang, V. Anh, and Nelson. Each of you played a part in making my experience truly memorable. Your professionalism, compassion, attention to detail, and genuine warmth set an exceptionally high standard for hospitality. I would also like to sincerely thank all the other wonderful staff members whose names I unfortunately can’t remember. Every single person I encountered was friendly, attentive, and kind, and you all contributed to making my stay safe, comfortable, and reassuring—especially during a difficult time. Every interaction felt personal and thoughtful—nothing was ever too much trouble, and everything was handled with a genuine smile. Sehr schöner Poolbereich auf dem Dach. Perfekt für eine kleine Nachmittagspause nach dem Sightseeing :-) Es gab wirklich nichts zu beanstanden.

• Lee (9/5): Lovely, peaceful hotel for couples - A lovely oasis in busy HCMC. My wife and I stayed for a week as part of our honeymoon and were delighted with the hotel. Large, well appointed rooms, very comfortable bed (once we got used to the low height). The heated toilet seat was a particular bonus! The service from the staff was exceptional. We got included breakfast and afternoon tea, there was always a lot of options, and there were new options rotated everyday. There wasnt much of a view from the room The rooftop bar was often very quiet

My wife got sick, and they help us with calling a doctor and they were checking us out every day if we need something. Also we were celebrating my wife’s bday, which the hotel surprised her with flowers, cake, chocolate, and vouchers. It was the best experience hotel I ever had. Top score for everything, The reception team was great, specially Sophie who was taking care of everything we needed. I strongly recommend

J’avais peur qu’il y ait une odeur de renfermé car nous avions réservé la chambre sans fenêtre mais pas du tout. Cela ne nous a pas du tout déranger. Je pensais que la piscine serai plus grande comme sur les photos mais ce n’a pas été le cas. Cependant, ça a quand même été très agréable de profiter d’un petit moment dans la piscine avec petit cocktail à la main !

• Tessa (9/5): Prima verblijf gehad - Prachtige kamer met een bad en douche, waterkoker, koelkast en zelfs een magnetron. Het zwembad is erg fijn met de streamers in je rug maar wel te klein om een baantje in te trekken en er is een sauna, stoombad, spa en fitnessruimte. Iedere dag tussen 2 en 4 kun je een gratis afternoon tea krijgen met allemaal kleine hapjes, erg lekker! Het hotel ligt in district 1 in een straat met vele restaurants, bars en massagesalons en je kunt er gemakkelijk lopen, het personeel was zeer behulpzaam en wil je overal mee helpen. De drankjes in de poolbar zijn aan de dure kant dus je moet het van het happyhour hebben wat maar tot 16uur is.

Coming into the freshly renovated beautiful lobby was refreshing after a long journey from Australia. The rooftop pool had an exceptional feel to it with reasonably priced drinks during the happiest hour ever I’ve ever seen 😂 (10am-4pm) I was blown away with how friendly and accomodating the staff were, if you’re in ho chi min and need a centrally located hotel in district one I definitely recommend you check out the Silverland Sakyo Hotel
