The elevator is extremely sketchy so we used the stairs, the bed and pillows were rhe most hard and uncomfortable things ive ever laid on in my life. The ac in the room was so loud it would wake me up every time it turned off or on. Absolutely wont be staying here again
- Dana (4/5): To much going on here - The over use deodorants the smell of freshners is so over powering it made me gag. My room was clean the front desk was nice. While walking my dog before bed 4 people were screaming at each other outside. About 11pm i was trying to sleep when the cops came and talked to the man across the hall from me. After that was done. Someone kept opening their door and go outside. The doors shut loudly. This happened continuously until about 5 am. I have two dog's that would bark everytime they heard door close. So needless to say this was not peaceful at all. Little to no sleep.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - The motel itself was okay. The bed was hard as a rock and the AC struggled to cool the room down once we turned it on. Pretty clean room and bathroom, no complaints there. But the hotel also didn't feel like it was in a safe location. The back door didn't lock so and there were alot of non guests hanging out in there vehicles that appeared to be canvassing the guests coming and going. For 1 night it was okay but wouldn't ever stay again.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - When we arrived the room was warm, as every hotel room is upon arrival, and smelled musky. The AC read 75 so we dropped it down as low as it goes then headed out for the evening. When we came back the room temp was still at 75. When we informed the staff they advised that all of their rooms are like that and would not give us a different room. When we won't up the temp was at 80 in the room. Horrible experience. I will never stay at a motel 6 again. I would have been more comfortable sleeping in my truck.

There were renovations going on but not during the night or early morning. The lady at the front desk was very nice and friendly. Our room and location was good since we were up just passing through to another state and needed a place for the night.

- renee (10/5): very pleased - this hotel has had and still going through remodeling and what has been done so far is very pleasing.The brand new mattresses were so comfortable and the beds were high off the floor-loved it-the hallways were clean and had a very pleasant and clean smell to them-this hotel should be upgraded from the two star rating because there has been much improvement made during renovations.

- J. Mc (4/5): Motel 6 Pearl MS. - This hotel is in the remodeling process. All you hear is banging and staff talking and slamming doors. The rooms were half cleaned, beds were to hard and the elevator was super slow. This is the worse experience I have had at a hotel.
- Linsey (2/5): So bad I cancelled all my future Motel 6 bookings - Hotel is under renovation, nothing mentions that. I mean no carpet on the floor, pool filled with work equipment, and random doors propped up in the hallways kind of renovation. I was given a room that had not been renovated. I wouldn't even sleep under the covers the room was so disgusting. There was no screen in the window, which I had to open because it was 80 degrees when I arrived. There were pubes on the toilet seat and desk. Shower floor was gray from not being cleaned. The real kicker was after I took a shower the entire bathroom smelled like stale urine, so strong that my clothes smelled like it when I left. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom to try and remedy the situation. The neighborhood is very shady, heck, all of Pearl, MS is. If I thought I could get it I would demand my money back.
- Quincy (8/5): A nice place, making some good improvements - As of late December 2015, they are under a complete renovation. The rooms have already been done and I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean with a fair amount of amenities, including a fridge and microwave. For those who have stayed at newer Motel 6 locations, this is similar, going toward a more modern, comfortable feel. On a side note, I'll echo other comments about the convenient power outlets. Not only were they in easy to access locations, but there were several throughout the room. One outlet next to the bed even had USB slots! The selling point for me was the early check-in time. I arrived around 1:30 p.m. on business and the room was ready to go. Considering that wifi was included, I was very satisfied. For an inexpensive stay, this Motel 6 was a great choice.
- Toby (6/5): Good but... - The room was very modern, with a fridge, and wifi was free. Also, the motel is very convenient for both the roads and Jackson. The downsides were that you cannot drive up to your room door and I had inconsiderate guests talking near my room at intervals during the evening.
- Chantal (2/5): NEVER STAY HERE PEOPLE!!!!!!!! - Everything about this place was bad, The place looked old and dirty from the outside. Well inside got even worst. When I walked in the place smelled really stale and mildewed. The lady at the front desk was smoking making me cough and I had to wait for her to put it down to wait on me. It took for ever to get my room card when I did the elevator was slow and stunk. They put me in the last room on the hall witch stunk really bad then the house cleaners had the hall blocked and made no attempt to move and let me get by as they stood there talking with each other. When I got to my room it was 90 degrees in there so I turned on the ac it started making all kinds of noise. The bathroom had holes in the wall that looked like they tried to feel in and failed at. I left to go get some dinner and a hour later the room was still burning up hot, I called the front desk and asked for a new room to be told no there was not a empty one. So I had to go to Wal-Mart and buy myself a fan to make it through the night. Wish I had not paid on line because I would have found me another place to stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Richard (4/5): Not recommended - Wasn't made aware that it was being remodeled. Hoses, cords, equipment and materials were scattered all over. Some guys (workmen?) were just hanging out in back until well after dark drinking, eating and wandering around the parked vehicles including mine - I had to pass them to walk my dog several times. Bugs in bathroom running for cover when light turned on. Lots of noise from other guests until 3:00 or 4:00 am. I got very little sleep!
- Not Provided (2/5): Disgusted and Terrified!!! - It was horrible! There was blood on our bed spread! Bullet holes in the walls! Blood splatters on the ceiling! Group of guys standing outside all night. No ice in the ice machine. No free WiFi like it says! Disgusted and terrified!!!!

- Jill (8/5): Pearl, MS near airport - The neighborhood appeared safe and the lady at the front desk was very nice. The room was fine, a bit tired and worn.....but it was neat and comfortable. The refrigerator made a noise so I unplugged it during the night.

Then a couple fought all night slamming doors; needless to say no one ever said anything to them. To top it off at 9AM the housekeepers started knocking on the door asking when would I be checking out?!?!? Remind you check out wasn't until 11!!!

- AJ (2/5): Worse stay ever - Hotels. Com did not tell us that. Motel 6 was in construction .remodeling! The hallway was full of furniture. Back entry door was open all night! Workers in & out.. the room had a smell of wet carpet.the AC unit was not cooling. The beds squeaks every time you move. Wont go back!
