- nikki8375 (10/5): Excellent location! - We usually always stay at Home2Suites when we travel. This stay was exceptionally great since the hotel is located within walking distance of so many restaurants and shopping plazas (Olice Gsrden, Smiey Bones, Chick fil A, Massage Envy, DiBella's Subs, etc.) We stayed here to go to downtown Pittsburgh for the Pirates' home opener. I needed a dog-friendly hotel with a clean room that had kitchen amenities. Home2 always delivers on those aspects. This hotel offered a pool and a gym. We didn't use either, but both spaces were very clean. Many kids seemed to have had a ball splashing in the pool. We stayed for two nights and had breakfast on two mornings. There were eggs and potato options each morning, and bacon on our second morning. They also offered oatmeal and yogurt with all the fixings you can think of. The food was tasty and fresh, but could have been hotter. For whatever reason, Home2 uses these warming cabinets to hold their hot items. It's so awkward to hold your plate, hold the door open and use tongs to grab your food. Chaffing dishes would be much easier for guests to spoon out their food, and would keep the temoeratire more appropriate. This breakfast station didn't offer a microwave which would have been nice to make your food hotter. Cutlery and plates were disposable. I prefer when this chain uses real cutlery and plates. Not only does that save on so much waste, but you're not eating off of paper plates. Something really cute this hotel did over our stay was offer an Easter egg hunt. They placed plastic Easter eggs around the hotel. Each had candy or a small toy inside. On my first morning, I grabbed a coffee cup from the drawer and there was the golden egg! My prize was anything from their snack freezer. I chose a Nestlé Toll House ice cream sandwich for my son. He was very happy to receive this treat. Our room was very clean and well-stocked on dishware and utensils. On the first night, we BBQ'd some burgers. It was great to have real plates and glasses to use for our dinner. The front desk has all the tools you need for using the BBQ. There were two small issues within our room, which I informed the front desk about when checking out. Our TV was very glitchy. It kept freezing regardless of which channel we watched. He second issue was that there was not even a drop of body wash in the wall-affixed bottle. We used soap so it wasn't too big of a deal, but I prefer body wash, especially their Zero brand which smells delicious. There were many dogs at the hotel during my stay, but the doggie areas were always clean and bags were available. In fact, everywhere around the property was very clean including the BBQ and the fire pit seating areas. All in all this was an excellent stay. When we visit Pittsburgh again, I will definitely stay at Home2Suites Cranberry again.
- 374chesterc (10/5): Great Experience!! - Very nice hotel, room was large and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Chelsea at the front desk was amazing. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, will definitely stay here again if back in the area for work.

- spinman15 (8/5): Would stay again - Front desk was always friendly and helpful. Nice big clean room with full size appliances. I would rate the breakfast a little above average. The typical hotel spread but the quality and presentation were on the plus side of average.
- Eysevia (10/5): - The pull out sofa was falling apart. It had rips and stains as well as the Matress on the pull out. Maybe it’s time to change them. One of our guests had to use it and I felt bad as it looked stained but it was late and we had a long day.
- SarahInSpring (8/5): Good overnight option in Cranberry - Stayed here one night on the return leg of a family roadtrip. Cranberry is usually our stopping point so we keep trying out different hotels to see if we hit on a favorite. We read a review that the Home2Suites had a good breakfast, so we decided to stop here. The breakfast buffet was one of the better ones we've had at a hotel lately, lots of good options and well-stocked. The room itself was fine, they are definitely quite large since this is an extended stay hotel, but the bathroom was pretty small in comparison. The front desk staff was very nice and the housekeeping was good. This hotel is easy to get too off the interstate and close to some good dining options. It was a fine option to help us get a good night's sleep and get back on the road in the morning.

- Love2TravelBuffalo (10/5): A great place to stay one night or for an extended stay! - Overall the property was more than we expected. Multiple attractive seating areas inside and out. Multiple dining areas inside and out. And even multiple exterior grills. The market area is small but has decent options if you need food fast. The breakfast area, staff and food were the best we’ve had short of a cook-to-order Embassy Suites! I appreciated the number of healthy options as well as the attention the staff gave to keeping the food area stocked and clean. Nice fitness room & pool. Our room was two queens and a sleeper sofa. Both beds were comfortable and the sofa was decent to sit on. The kitchenette was well stocked with dish and glassware, a good size fridge and even a dishwasher. And a microwave. There is a lot of storage and workspace so it would be ideal for an extended stay either for work or a family

- Sharon (10/5): - This was our first experience with Home2 and we really enjoyed it. We picked this location because it is in between Pittsburgh and Grove City Outlets. There are plenty of restaurants in the area as well as shopping. The room was nice because it had a couch to relax and watch TV. It also had a full refrigerator, dishes and dishwasher. This made it nice to bring food or store leftovers. The room was very clean and fresh smelling. Breakfast included some healthier options that were very tasty. If security is a concern for you, this is the place because you can't use the elevator without a keycard. Our only complaint is that the bed was a bit harder than we are used to, but we would stay here again.

Check the baseboards in the kitchen and bathroom and the upper ring around the sink in the bathroom and please wipe the table down… I would still stay again.

- Rachel548 (8/5): Breakfast was a miss for us - My son and I stayed here for nearly a week while attending a hockey camp across the road. The area is very busy, near highways, with lots of shopping and restaurants around. The hotel was clean and the front reception desk was always friendly. They put out fruit infused water, snacks, and sometimes cookies even. Some of the areas were undergoing maintenance while we were there. So, the pool was closed and at times we had to maneuver around wet paint in the hallways. No construction though so nothing loud. The room was huge (it is a suite) so there was plenty of room to cook, work, etc. I do think the furniture in both the room and the lobby need to be replaced. They both showed a lot of wear and some staining. Plenty of free parking which is always nice. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was actually because of breakfast. We actually weren't impressed. This is one of the smaller free breakfasts we've seen in a hotel this size and the selection wasn't great. It's pretty much design-your-own-breakfast-sandwich each day. That would be fine if there was more variability and the options weren't cold from sitting out. Also the pancake mix was nearly always out. We chose to eat elsewhere for breakfast the last two days. Otherwise, no complaints about this hotel and I'd stay there again.

The safe was slow, and apologetic, the elevator “broke” shortly after we got there. The breakfast in the morning was one of the nicer breakfasts I’ve had at a hotel, so I could see someone who’s living there would appreciate that.

The customer service is outstanding and for the most part the facility is kept clean. I have notice however, during the last couple stays, that things are beginning to look “weathered”. The furniture is worn, the carpet is stained etc. I think it could use a little refresh.

My wife can't have dairy and was surprised they had individual almond milks! The pool was very clean and the kids had a great time! The location of this property is fantastic with so much within very close proximity. Highly recommend this hotel!

- MandDgotoItaly (10/5): Perfect road trip respite - Stopped through on our way from PA to Michigan for Thanksgiving. Room was lovely and comfortable. One never knows if a sofa bed at a hotel will be acceptable, and my son actually chose to sleep on top rather than open it up, so we don't know what was inside, but the outside was clean and comfortable so I bet the inside was too! We were greeted warmly and given instructions on how the lights in the room work. Glad to find a cold fridge/freezer as we were transporting holiday foods with us that needed a break from the cooler! Breakfast was good and staff was so hard working on a busy morning! The oatmeal was yummy! Only feedback is we wished the yogurts were the healthier kind (with actual protein and active cultures) and not the fake sugary kind, but this is a minor detail. Will definitely stay here again!

This is one of the better Home2 suites. We didn't get to use the pool this time around., but we plan to return

The staff gave us a spray which masked the odour for a bit. The moved us but, new room still had that same smell. So we took the spray again. Hotel was very clean except for the shower. Edges and corners had mould and it would breakaway while you showered that was horrifying especially with a toddler.

Only negative thing is our room wasn’t actually cleaned in its entirety. Meaning, 2 of the 3 soap dispensers in the shower were empty, clumps of hair on the floor, and there were still some spills on the counter and dresser area. I didn’t mind and cleaned it myself but you would normally expect more cleanliness in the room for what you paid for.

Only thing that wasn’t great was that there was a planned power outage during our stay and we were not notified ahead of time. We checked in around 8:30pm to be told the power would go out at 10.
