• Halsrud (6/5): If I choose to stay again, it will be because of Sid. - Sid (Syd?) Was very pleasant to talk to, very friendly, and helpful. The room was very spacious, warm, and inviting. The shower water pressure and temperature were very good. The bed and linens were very comfortable. My first of 2 nights was not a good experience at all. It was very noisy all over the motel, and especially in my hallway when someone knocked on my door, and other doors late at night (past 11:30 pm) multiple times, and screaming until 6:30 am at the tops of their lungs. I was told that Police were called to settle people down, or remove them. There was a plastic bag placed over my smoke detector in my room from a previous guest. I reported these deficiencies to staff the following day, and Sid (Syd?) did apologize to me, but I realize he wasn't responsible for these things happening. The snow hadn't been cleared away completely in the parking lot from the recent past snowfall.

Room was ok, had a moldly smell..had a refrigerator no microwave or coffee pot in room. Towels and sheets were clesn but dingy looking... The pool had kids in it with no adult supervision..
• Mike Parks (3/5): Who's watching the front desk at night? - Friendly staff Well let's see i think it was the no towels in the room when we got there. My friend and I came to town for a funeral. It was hotter than heck out. We tried to go to the front desk for towels and well it was way later like after 6am that we were finally able to get towels for showering. We were right by the front desk so it was pretty frustrating not being able to get cleaned up right away. I could tell my friend was pretty uncomfortable. Hardly worth what we paid not being able to take showers right away. There was no soap or shampoo in the room also. Oh and we had no microwave either.
• Stacy (2/5): - When we arrived stood in line for 30 minutes before being helped. Got to our rooms and the rooms were dirty. Neither room had towels and when we asked for towels we were told that they were in the dryer. Asked again 45 minutes later and we were told that the towels just went in the dryer. And hour later we were told that they sold out of towels. We had to go and buy towels at the store to be able to shower the next morning. When i asked for floor mats later that evening i was asked for the dirty towels that we had. Whe. I explained to the desk clerk that we had no towels in either of our rooms i was basically called a liar. Than was given 1 floor mat and 3 washcloths. Which were all stained. There were cigarettes burn marks all over the bedding. The pillows in the rooms were completely flat. There were drug users everywhere on the property. This was the worse experience I have ever had at a hotel.

• Melanie (2/5): Very scary - We chose this location since it is really close to the hospital where my husband had surgery. The staff was accommodating and helped with extra pillows and such for post op. The room was ok, it was clean but the bed spread and blankets had burn holes in them. There is no coffee pot or microwave in the rooms. There was so much noise and blaring music, that it woke us up. Apparently there are at a miminum of 4 people that live here, and they all huddle by the front door. Totally regretted my choice of hotels!

• Tracy (2/5): - Check in went ok. I did have to tell the front desk attendant Sharla that I had 2 rooms 3 times. Once checked in the people who reside at the motel sat outside with all their animals. The 1st room was clean, however the beds only had 1 pillow per guest amd very thin. Upon starting showers I had to go to the front desk to ask for towels and washrags. Courtesy small bars of soap were provided but no shampoo or conditioner available. There were also no cups or glasses to drink out of. The refridgerator sounded like it was an airplane getting ready to take off we unplugged it from the wall. Only 1 useable electrical outlet was available to charge 4 phones and 3 headsets. The 2nd room hadnt even been completed and ready for the other 3 in our party to stay in. They arrived at 1245am and when I first checked in the attendant Sharla said it would be cleaned and ready for when the rest of our family got there 7 hours and 45 minutes later it wasnt! The person who was suppose to do the housekeeping stated to my daughter "they knew I wanted to go out tonight". There were only 1 pillow on each bed. The lobby reeked of drugs. Trying to go to sleep at 11pm was very difficult because of the numerous animals in the building were barking constantly and we had to be up at 430am to be ready for the State Trap Championship competition. No coffee was made this morning and no attendant to check out with either.

The staff was friendly, but seemed to be that they had better things to do than check us in and out. No breakfast was a bummer and coffee dis not have enough jugular or creamer set out for 2 people. Worst part of the stay was bed bugs in one of the beds.

The common bathroom keeps locking you out, the bathroom in the room locks you in, you have to play hide and seek to find the light switches. There is no coffee pot, microwave or hair dryer. You only get 2 small towels, so if there is more than one person, you have to bring them down to the desk to be washed and returned (I never got them back, so no shower for the other three people in our party). No clock or Kleenex. Oh, and there was poop on the floor by the pool, dog barking, kids running up and down the hallway.

• Michelle (4/5): - This was not the first time for me to stay at this location. My first experience was good; however, this stay i just completed was the exact opposite. The halls/rooms were very noisy. Thursday night the other patrons did not quiet down until 4am Friday morning then they didn't quiet down til 2am Saturday morning. This is not acceptable. When I mentioned it to the front desk, he said I was basically lying. He worked there all night and it was not noisy and I was full of crap. Also when he went to check the room at checkout, he accused me of smoking in my room. He said it had a bad smoking smell like I had done that in the room. Well let me tell you. the whole hall smelled of cigarette smoke. It smelled like that as soon as you turned the corner to go down the hall to get to my room. He was very disrespectful, and I will probably not stay here again.

• Matthew (2/5): Unprofessional Staff and unsafe. - The front desk and house keeping staff were smoking weed in the front lobby and the staff then went outside and stared at us when we were getting our luggage out of the car. We packed up and drove home. Did not feel safe

The room had been partially re-done: new furniture and floor, but old bathroom, holes in walls, etc. The mattress was comfy, but there were holes in the sheet that somehow managed to be scratchy. There were black oily fingerprints in the shower and on the shower curtain. The base of the toilet hadn't been cleaned recently. The walls are very thin, so we heard every conversation in the halls. No breakfast, which we knew going in. There was coffee in the mornings. We are very far from being coffee snobs (day old microwaved coffee is fine), but both of us took a sip and dumped out the rest.

It's too bad some smokers don't follow the no-smoking rule. Prior to my visit, the smoke alarm had been removed from the ceiling, leaving the wires exposed, giving it a "cheap motel" look.

Things I didn’t like about the property were even though we were in a non-smoking room, the room smelled like smoke and was really musty. There were clear indications of leaking on the ceiling where it was brown. The TV remote did not work and when had the overnight attendant attempt to fix it, he said it to fix it and then left, and it never worked, so wasn’t able to even watch TV because of no volume the tile on the bathroom floor was coming up, making it hard to open and close the bathroom door. The thing that holds the shower curtain was coming loose from the wall so that also made the door issue to get open and closed, there were not enough towels and asked to get more from the overnight attendant. He told me he could not do so as it would take too long to wash and dry the towels that he had to do. No smoke alarms present. There were also dogs on the property and they were not quiet at all, barking loud, when I showed up to the parking lot on my second night to stay, there was a very clear odor of marijuana in the parking lot. The bed was not very comfortable. It was not very clean. The pillowcases had stains on them overall not very satisfied and would very very much like my money back.

• Lisa (2/5): - My room was filthy! The sheets looked like it had dog paw prints, running across it, and there were stains on both the comforter and the sheets. There was a dirty washcloth in the sink and a towel that I was told was clean, was laying across the back of the toilet. It was a no smoking room and smelled horribly like cigarette smoke. The TV didn’t work, and I was told that none of the TVs in the building were working because they were updating something. I asked if I could get a different room and I was told that there were no other rooms available because their housekeeper had recently retired and they hadn’t found anyone to replace her. So, I’m assuming they didn’t have any other rooms prepared, because the parking lot didn’t have many vehicles in it. I was exhausted and in the middle of nowhere, and I didn’t have a choice to try to find somewhere else to stay. I asked if I could get even a partial refund and was told absolutely not. There were people fighting and drunk in the parking lot as well as drunk in the hallway of the building. I was scared to death! I am not a picky person when it comes to staying in a motel room. As long as it’s clean, comfortable, and safe, it is satisfactory to me. This room and property, were none of the above!

• James (6/5): Pleasant - Room was fine easy access from where i needed to be during the day. I'm not one to bitch but, in comparison to other Motel 6's I've stayed in this one ranks on the bottom. Staff was very nice, but the house keeping was non existent ish, arrived in my room with trash still in the waste baskets and used towels still in the room, I stayed 5 nights and had to go ask for fresh towels, But i needed a place to sleep and a shower and the price per night was satisfactory.. With better house keeping this could be a better motel 6. As a self employed person I understand how hard it is to get good help these days.

So my policy is....if I have to put down a deposit....I'm no longer staying at the hotel!!
• Doris (8/5): Good sleep. - The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The downside was that previous customers had trashed the room that we booked, so things weren't really ready for us. The staff did a good job of trying to get things right for our stay. And our grandkids enjoyed the swimming pool.

• Ken (3/5): Very disappointing stay. Taking an extra day off from work to rest up from an unrestful weekend. - Location was nice. Quiet area of the city. Outside appearance of the building was pleasant. And the night time staff was very pleasant and tried her best to accommodate us. The room was damp and musty, even with the ac running. There was no housekeeping during our 2 night stay. Had no extra towels or pillows, because we asked for them. The shower handle was broken, we had to manipulate the handle to get the water to turn on and off. One side of the night stand had no electricity unless we turned a light on. Wasn’t going to sleep with a light on. We had no idea that people were actually residents living in the hotel. Trash from a resident was left in the hallway for more than 24 hrs. Couldn’t smell cigarette smoke within the hotel. Security door from the outside did not latch. And the fire alarm was beeping all night making for a difficult night of sleep. I’m sure I could think of more once I rested at home.
• Amanda (9/5): Very comfortable and nice - They didn’t have breakfast, when our tv didn’t work she did move us Ann was very nice about it and helpful and also when our son got sick I ran and asked for extra towels she had no problem getting us some very nice and helpful
• Andrew (8/5): - Staff was friendly and was close to food and gas station
• William (3/5): No sleep to loud after hours - I was there for mustang invasion in cedar falls drag strip and I slept better there than the hotel. The hotel got very noisy from 10PM to 5AM. If I could I would like a refund. I ended up leaving at 3AM Sunday with out any sleep. The only thing good was the counter people. Make it quieter at after hours
• Richard (2/5): - very unprofessiona; employee at front desk. no towls in room had to ask for them >woke up to water leaking from sealing in bathroom. Had to move to different room in the middle of the night . Place was very dirty and dog hair all over capet.

• Jonathan (2/5): - There should be a limit of how many dogs are allowed on property! Smells like weed coming in the front door. People hanging out the windows talking to each other like it’s a New York street neighborhood.
