Guest Reviews
- Timothy (9/5): thank you -
- mark (2/5): -
- mark (3/5): - Close to the wedding No microwave no refrigerator
- Isabella (5/5): Cheap, and that’s exactly what you get. Very smelly whether you book non smoking or not or whether you book pets or not, - Decent location, convenient for what we needed but it’s basically a homeless hotel. Whole place reeked of cigarette and cat.
- Phyliss (1/5): We left! - Nothing. The location was scary! The hotel smelled like cigarette smoke and pot! There was a bug in the bathroom. The mattress if that’s what you call it just slid off the bed. We left and are now fighting to get our money back!
- Tanya (6/5): It was just an ok stay. - The location was great The bed was uncomfortable and the floor needed sweeping and there was a spot on the floor. Looked like paint and the room had an odor
- Cooper (10/5): Had a great night of sleep - How everything went smoothly. Nothing
- Delancey (4/5): - Jimmy at front desk. Room was decent. Got charged twice. From check in lady. Jimmy was very helpful with submitting a refund. Constant smell of pot coming into motel. It needs total upgrade.
- Tracy (8/5): - Location
Rooms clean and smelled fresh
Friendly front desk staff
Elevator Hallway had pungent smell
Trash can overflowing on 2nd floor
Thin walls
- Passarelli (6/5): Pleasant , adequate, and I would return - Clean, reasonably priced, quiet , nothing super special but for the price I found it to be quiet adequate and would return and it had places to eat close by sushi, fast food, dinner, dollar tree, Walmart right there. Some of the other guests looked sketchy but what can u do about you can't exactly turn people who pay away that would be discrimination.
- roslynn (7/5): -
- Evelina (8/5): - The staff was great and the location was easy to get in and out of Bed were a little stiff
- Lisa (4/5): Pottstown motel 6 🙂↔️ - Not much to be honest motel 6 is my least liked motel even with the major make over they did past few years. And it was all of them across the board. Motel 6 is always been sub par. I hate the decor it gives a feel of " yup we're at motel for a cpl days .." you walk in your room. And can't wait to get home to your own bed already. I really think it's the lay out and color schemes and I've stayed at probly almost a dozen different motels 6 in the past 7 yrs. Only by default I tend to get stuck with this hotel because there's no other vacancy in near by nicer motels or a friend I'm traveling with booked it ahead of time and they didn't know motel 6 sucks. They have no microwaves or fridges in the rooms they actually charge extra if you ask for one too. Which considering the price on room is very close to the others in the area motel 6 are the only rooms without those accommodations. The staff really seem tired of their jobs especially front desk folks. I thought maybe they play a game where first person to actually smile loses 20$ on payday most desk staff barely great you with a common hello . It's weird asf! And rude! I mean what happen to ppl in hospitality being HOSPITABLE?! !!! I really have to spend an extra 60$ almost double motel 6at the bonvoy Marriott to feel like a guest who matters a little. Pitiful!!

- Lewis (5/5): It was convenient for our travel purposes. I will spend more money for a different motel/hotel next time. - It was located in a convenient location. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very nice. It was very loud at all times of the night. You can hear the toilets flushing. You hear people very clearly in the hallway even at 2 am. Paint chips were all over the floor.
- randy (2/5): -
- Randy (5/5): Mediocre - The facility and room was clean, hallways and elevator was decent. Non-smoking room smelled like cigarette and w***. Stayed 10 days, I asked about first floor room to accommodate me( had back surgery and steps weren't the best idea). The housekeeping knocking at 9am when check out was 11.
- Jesus m (1/5): -
- Dawn (8/5): Our stay was comfortable at Motel 6 -
- Deborah (10/5): A very nice facility with exceptional staff - I needed a refrigerator for my insulin and was provided one immediately Nothing, everyone and everything was just right
- Francisco (6/5): - Olor a cigarrillo
- Anthony (4/5): - It was cheap It was dirty and not maintained.
- Danielle (1/5): -
- Mary (5/5): Never again - Staffing was great Rooms were for the most part very small. Zero room services .., coffee refrigerator, Microwave
As for handicapped accessibility is also a ZERO electric wheelchair just fit in door way
- John (6/5): - No breakfast. Several places near by to eat. A frig in the room would have been nice.
- Trevor (9/5): Very very good. - Did not have breakfast All good
- Michael (8/5): Grate - Location Nothing
- Garry (6/5): Douglasville stay - Room was clean and fairly comfortable. Room was supposed to be smoking free but we could smell stale cigarette/cigar smoke as soon as we entered the room; it was bad. Room was too cool on our arrival and it took a long time to get the temperature up to a comfortable level. It was a relatively chilly night so the heating system was running most of the evening The darn thing sounds like a freight train.
What I like the least was the darn cleaning staff kept pounding on the door the last hour we were there wanting to come in and clean. We knew our checkout time and we were out on time but they were a nuisance. It was NOT appreciated.
- N_solo_N (7/5): Good location, worth of money - Location is good with parking, room with tub.
Some room need to renovate We booked 7nights for Non-smoking on 1st floor but we got as smoking room...because the next room they smoked, all stinky from the air flow in the bathroom, Lucky we can change the room for last 2 nights.
- Avila (9/5): -
- Ryan (10/5): - The ease of booking and checking in
- Will (10/5): - The friendly staff clean room No fridge or microwave
- Dunia (5/5): estable - Cerca de muchas tiendas y restaurant olor a ccigarro incluso el personal
- Jasmine (10/5): -
- Jasmine (10/5): -
- Priscilla (9/5): Convenient, clean, friendly, budget friendly!! - Very convenient for me to spend the night and be close to Philadelphia to pick up my granddaughter for her Thanksgiving vacation from college. Drove up from NC and and brought the dog along to share the love with family I visited in the area. Staff super friendly and helpful! I am a "need carpet" on the floor to be comfortable. I know ... old fashioned! The floors were actually probably better so I didn't have to worry about the dog spilling some food. Easy for me to clean up after. Facility was very clean!
- Mary (8/5): -
- Genevie (10/5): -
- Roush (3/5): Probably the worst stay I’ve ever had at a hotel due to having to have my key card re-keyed 7-10 times in the 3 nights I - Location in town Too many straglers hanging out in the parking lot at night, smoking right outside the entry.
- Barlow (3/5): -
- Heather (1/5): The staff was rude and lied and the conditions were awful and customer service did nothing to help! - The location was good. I had no heat and no working toilet. When I contacted staff about each, they made excuses about being busy and no maintenance being available. Late when I filed a complaint, they outright lied about the conditions I endured!
- Dirty Doc (4/5): -
- Stephanie (6/5): - Inexpensive. Bare floors instead of carpet in rooms. Room was clean. Hallway carpets were very old and smelly. Motel hard to find, enter from the back of a strip mall parking lot.
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Marek (5/5): -
- Alma (5/5): -
- wilkerson (7/5): -
- Jennier (1/5): -
- diane (2/5): - This is a homeless shelter! Literally. Families, dogs, people hanging out in the lobby. I asked for an extra towel and was told I had to turn in one towel to get a new towel. I had to borrow the hair dryer from the front desk. Smelled like cigarettes and food cooking. Cigarette burns in the room even though we picked a non-smoking room.
- Booth (2/5): - Room was not clean heat/ac didn't work bugs in room no fridge or microwave
- Malcolm (8/5): Perfectly reasonable stay - It met my expectations, was easy, comfortable, clean
- Paul (10/5): - .
- Richard (8/5): - For what the hotel lacks the staff makes up for it 100%. This is the perfect no frills hotel stay. Prices are very fair and the staff went above and beyond for everything we needed.
- Jessica (2/5): - Ummm, seemed fairly clean Uncomfortable bed, booked a queen and it wasn't, burn holes and rips all over our bedding, toilet made such loud noises like someone dragging furniture across the floor and ran constantly all night
- Jones (10/5): -
- Matt Wayne (10/5): WORTH THE PRICE, WORTH THE STAY! - The atmosphere the staff provides. It's quiet. Just a great place to relax. I have zero complaints. Not only was the place great the staff played a major part in that rating. Nothing but lovely to talk with and no issues from them once so ever.
- David (8/5): - The room was cleaning but the bottom floor hallway carpet could def use a shampoo and deep clean to remove the odor.
- Sara (7/5): Good place to stay in pottstown - Property is close to pottstown town center. Across the street is plenty of food and there is a Walmart. Convenient if you forget something or need a late night snack. The property is located behind a strip mall off the main road so it is secluded and has plenty of parking space It could be cleaner. The beds were advertised as queen beds but upon arrival they looked more like full size beds
- Tyler (4/5): Left a day early without a refund request - Hall way walking to the room smelled of decomposition. something either in the walls or in the vents was rotting away. the room was obviously covered up with air freshener and by the 2nd night it started. I checked out early because it was so bad.
- Edgardo (10/5): -
- Max (7/5): Nice stay in Pottstown - Nice and comfortable rooms Bathroom door lock was broken
- Brenda (10/5): - Its a good getaway for the weekend..
- Nikki (6/5): - The people were so nice, until.this am. The lady th
- William (10/5): THANK GOODNESS - Everything was spectacular from check in to check out! What a relief compared to went on in Atlantic City the previous 2 nights.
- Maria (2/5): - I didnt even stay my full stay
- Ervin (8/5): -
- shayla (8/5): - For the record, this motel DOES NOT accept 3 animals as stated in the property details. This was a small issue, as i have 3 dogs. However, the manager made an exception for my 2 night stay.
- Boyer (7/5): -
- Ledford (7/5): - Clean room freindly staff No fridge or microwave
- Estrellita (10/5): Clean - Nice Good customer service
- Caren (7/5): -
- Frank (2/5): - Bad smell everywhere, too much noise all the time, the beds are very uncomfortable
- Taneisha (4/5): Disappointing -
- Cynthia (6/5): Ok for the one night - It was a little run down. The staff was wonderful!! Seems to have vagrant people staying. They did not cause any trouble and were friendly and polite. Should have a designated smoking area away from the front door, bench and curb.
- Kimberly (4/5): - A very run down, let go, unpleasant property. In collected trash for days in a dumpster, unpleasant smells in the lobby and elevator. Unsavory activity outside after dark. On a positive note: the shower was great! But no vent left everything wet and weird. I will never stay there again nor recommend it.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- RAPHAEL (2/5): - Convenient location.
Upon check in front desk twice gave my bad key cards. When i returned to the desk to try to get a new set front desk said something about not my fault keys are not working.
I instantly asked for a refund.
- Bud (4/5): Disappointing - Staff
- Roger (4/5): It was cheap - No breakfast. No hand lotion or shampoo. Dog left alone in room 24 hrs of barking
- Crystal (5/5): Passable -
- Siarra (4/5): No extra fees! Great location! - The location, near my school Walmart and Panera Bread They had disabled , drug addicts, and homeless ppl staying there. They were clearly put there do to homelessness. But not a good look to travelers looking for a safe clean place.
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Valerie (6/5): - This is a small dog-friendly motel. It was very clean. There was no fridge, microwave, coffee pot or hairdryer. There were the usual vending machines and ice maker. Situated behind a strip mall. There is tons of dining and shopping close by. It was less expensive, but very basic.
- Diane (10/5): - Though we did not actually stay here, the customer service was fantastic. We booked 2 rooms for a night. I checked in the early afternoon to make sure the rooms were on the same floor. They changed things around to make that happen. Later, due to unforeseen circumstances, we no longer needed the rooms. When I explained this to Lori, the front desk agent, she allowed us to cancel with no hassle, even a few hours after the deadline. I will rebook here another time and appreciate the cancellation policy and Lori, for her pleasant and helpful attitude.
- Garretson (8/5): Pleasantly surprised- great value for the price. - The room was spotless. The motel is not fancy, but flooring, furnishings, and bathroom had all been updated. Bed was comfy with lots of pillows. Staff was friendly and helpful My room was freezing and the temp controls were difficult to manage. One of the front desk team came up and set it for me, so although it was a bit of a problem, it was very promptly resolved.
- Enrico (2/5): - Filthy dirty disgusting hotel
- Melissa (5/5): Passable - Hotel is decent. Minimalist but that's ok as long as you plan ahead. Burn holes in bedding, pillows uncomfortable. Good location, near restaurants and shopping. Bedding was uncomfortable and burn holes in bedding as well. Pillows were uncomfortable.
- Diane (10/5): Staff very helpful and friendly - Location
- Priluchnyi (7/5): Good -
- Ellen (6/5): - It was ok if you're just stopping in for a night or two, just wish they had continental breakfast.
- Pam (8/5): Very good -
- Towne (7/5): Good -
- Jeffrey (4/5): Meh. - No hair dryer, rooms were small and pretty dinged up. No fridge or coffee either No hairdryer/fridge/coffee pot
- Kari (10/5): Exceptional - No breakfast No fridge in the room.
- Sonya (3/5): Sum it up….would rather pay more for a nicer place. Don’t waste your money. - Location wasn’t bad Broken bathroom handle, busted screen on the window being held in place with a screw, non smoking motel but our room stink of cigarettes and weed, burn marks on the tub, white stuff on the curtains not to mention when curtains were closed you saw all the holes in them, horrible lighting, hard beds and always a big group of people hanging out front like it was a block party (found out they actually LIVE there…homeless). Everything I brought up to the front desk associate upon checkout, she had an excuse.
- Love (8/5): Very good -
- Joe (4/5): Disappointing -
- Dianna (9/5): Great location and price, it was exactly what we needed. - We did not stay for breakfast. More blankets in the room, I never felt completely warm while in bed.
- Gene (9/5): Superb -
