Guest Reviews
- Johnson (10/5): - Very kind staff Nothing and my rest was good.
- Johnson (10/5): -
- Goguen (1/5): Never book this place!! - The room had no plugs for laptop. Had to unplug the microwave to use a plug convenient to desk. Air conditioner was so loud when running, that conversation was next to impossible. With door closed, there was light seeping around the edges and bottom, so heat or cold, plus light could enter. When management was approached with these complaints, he dismissed them and said take it or leave it. Not willing to provide any type of compensation.
- Meredith (10/5): -
- Adam (5/5): Over all not to bad - Great location.. Bottom floor was great for disabled veteran Towels and wash clothes and bed linen was dingy and stained.. They could improve on cleaning technique or BLEACH….
- Shawn (8/5): - Everything about it was so satisfactory
- WAYNE (5/5): -
- Kelly (10/5): - Clean, quiet, nice staff Nothing
- Kalea (8/5): -
- Allen (8/5): Overall great value - Value for the money, 2 veteran parking spots, clean. Heater fan was set to low speed but it was fairly loud. Bathroom fan cover fell off and the fan was filthy. No washcloths.
- Patricia (10/5): -
- Dennis (10/5): -
- Mitchell (10/5): - . .
- Tibbetts (1/5): I was really disappointed . - Cost To start the floor and room didn’t warm up for 2-3 hours , unfriendly staff , broken refrigerator. I’ve stayed at the cheaper motels before in Bangor and this was the worse .
- Dennis (10/5): Only disappointment was breakfast. - Breakfast very small. Should add Waffle maker, hard boiled eggs, toast, and milk. Need bigger breakfast w/Milk
- Bernadette (7/5): - I didn’t have breakfast Everything was good
- Gopi (7/5): Good for the price! - The location is very convenient. Customer service was great, and Kevin was very friendly. It's good they're willing to offer breakfast at this rate. But the breakfast could be better and particularly fresher. All you need is some healthy cereal, fresh bread, croissants, a microwave and a toaster with butter and condiments.
The area and premises could be cleaner.
- Jerry (10/5): They have a lot of amenities here for the guests and a full breakfast cooked on site. - It was great. Very nice and clean. N/A
- JoAnn (1/5): Very uncomfortable - The staff was horrible. The hotel had alot of people there that didn't have a room and their clothing looked dirty. There were people living there with children, I was in a room beneath a family whose children ran and played, so it was very loud. Several guests played loud music. The bathtub looked like it had been used to soak in and wasn't cleaned afterwards. The trash in my room hadn't been emptied and it left a bad smell in the room, I had to air it out before resting.
- Jacie (1/5): - Nothing How rude staff was
Over charge on room
Room was cold
Floor was dirty
Door barley deadbolt
- Moore (5/5): -
- Jigar (5/5): - Bathroom needs a bit of modification and cleaning
- Tyler (4/5): - The top blanket had so much hair on it. The bath tub/shower was gross
- Randall (6/5): - Comfortable bed with air conditioning that worked better than any of the much more expensive properties I had previously stayed in the New England area- definitely run down looking and not for most people but if all you need is a comfortable bed at a great price, this might be for you
- Maria N. (10/5): - Yes
- Cary (8/5): - For a basic older motel, it was a nice place to stay. Coffee was available when the office was open. The staff was kind and helpful.
- Traci (8/5): - Bathroom was old, nice tile throughout, bed was squeezing and uncomfortable
- Kimberly (10/5): Enjoyed time with family they were able to accommodate us with two lower rooms close to each other, and it was a quiet u - Clean friendly professional None
- Jessica (4/5): - My stay was interrupted two days in a row. When i was on the property for 38 hours, i was given no notice that maintenance would be done with the smoke detector until the moment of maintenance. According to the contractors that did the work, it was not mandatory service if the smoke detectors.
- Anne (10/5): -
Yes things are ok
- Russell (10/5): - Had a good night's sleep!
- Pavel (1/5): -
- PATRICIA (6/5): - Advertised Guest laundry but there was no working laundry. Hotel is not as nice as it is advertised when booking! This should be updated.
- Katherine (2/5): - There were weird stains on the outlet and other places. There were flies in my room. Then I discovered maggots by the sink when I was getting ready for bed. They didn’t seem to understand why I wanted to switch rooms. But they did let me. The next room had burn holes in the bed spread. And the floor was not clean and so there was dirt on my feet if I walked barefoot. I overall felt anxious and unsafe the whole time but the second room was slightly better. Also the pillows smelled.
- Leonard (7/5): -
- Brad (4/5): - This place is not a great place to stay, location felt sketchy, and wasn’t very clean. Bed wasn’t comfortable. Motel is run down overall. Nice guy though running the counter.
- Susan (4/5): - Hotel is old and dirty. For what we paid it was in very poor condition.
- Karen (10/5): Great stay for the value. Close to everything you need. - The gentleman at the check in desk was extremely pleasant and welcoming. In the morning when I went in they were just as nice! Room was clean and smelled nice, great water pressure and HOT. Less then 10 minutes to the Bangor airport. Absolutely nothing.
- Keary (8/5): On short notice it wasn’t $200 plus - The “breakfast” lacked. Overall looked clean, room was comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave but no coffee maker. Ask for extra towels.
- amanda (8/5): - Rooms nicer than the outside appears and clean. Though the shower had no drain and could see gross water nearly coming up.
- Naida (4/5): - Very noisy - got very little sleep.
- Megan (6/5): - It’s a fine place that is cheap for one night while passing through. Exterior is shabby interior is fine.
- Donna (10/5): - Front desk was accommodating, room was clean and parking was plentiful.
- Susan (6/5): - It was just ok. Everyone looked refurbished recently but it was odd that the shower bath looked yellowed stained as if it was old(?) I wasn't about to use it (I'm diabetic because the cleanliness of surfaces is extremely important to me. The floors look recently renovated with new flooring but they appeared dusty and dirty, it's a good thing a brought slippers otherwise I'd have to request they clean the floor more thoroughly. The whole surfaces situation made me unimpressed.
- Jones (4/5): - The sheets appeared clean. The original photo of hotel didn't show how run down it was and that the hotel doors are accessed outside. This looked a bit sketchy and the the breakfast was a joke.
- Erjon (6/5): - Cheap on price and nothing else to write about!
- Sylvia (6/5): - The staff was very nice and helpful at check in. The room was a little dirty and had some cobwebs. The faucet for the tub spun a complete 360° so it was tricky to find the correct temp.
- Peg (8/5): - The property was in a great location for what i needed, not right down town. the staff was very nice and i was able to check in early, get my key and head to the event.
- Edgar (10/5): - It's nice, just a little dated.
- Faith (4/5): - If I had known the conditions I would’ve never gone there. Doing construction, banging, no coffee pot, for the cost I could have stayed at another hotel for an extra $20.
- John (6/5): - Everything is old and well worn, but very clean.Ok for one night. Meager, but adequate breakfast.
- Sandra (6/5): - Room clean
- Jamie (2/5): Overpriced, filthy, rude staff - Prearrival: I attempted to add my friend’s name to the room and was hung up on twice. The third time I was told it was taken care of. It was not.
Arrival: Desk agent was rude and kept saying that we could stay somewhere else if we had an issue.
Room: FILTHY! Floor was dirty with things stuck to it. Walls were stained with who knows what. No stopper in the dirty tub. Comforters had cigarette burns. One of the light blankets had door stains and food stuff stuck to it.
- Johnathan (10/5): - Always a clean room!
- Lauren (2/5): - We had to purchase cleaning products to wipe the entire room. The bathroom had hair all over the toilet seat before we ever used it, the bathroom floors and walls are filthy! the shower had actual dirt in the tub, there is some type of food on the floor of the bathroom and it’s the dirtiest hotel room I have ever been in. When I made the mistake of checking the mattress for bugs the stains are unbelievable. The door doesn’t close without slamming it the bathroom door is broken. This place is gross. If we weren’t on the motorcycle we would have moved to another hotel but there is no refund either so we are stuck in this pit of a room until we can leave at first light. I am disgusted disappointed and so defeated. This room was over 200.00 for one night!
- Robin (2/5): Not great - The whole place is just awful. Was somewhat clean. Pictures make it look a lot nicer than it really is. Breakfast selections were minimal.
- Lisa (6/5): - Staff friendly, room was clean the breakfast poor.
- Andrea (10/5): - Front desk man was very nice and let us check in early for the concert. Should have hair dryers in the rooms.
- Laura (6/5): - Pictures are deceiving, breakfast(continental) was not appealing, coffee in a machine that tasted like mud and not even real creamers lol. I walked in this morning to get a coffee(none in rooms) and saw a bowl of peeled boiled eggs really threw me off lol this was not worth what I paid at all.
- 2ifbyCCoastofMaine (4/5): Low price, lower quality, choose wisely - My wife and I tried this motel after having a good experience at another ABV Inn in southern Maine. The price was surprisingly less than other motels in Bangor.
While the room and linens were clean, there was very little else that I can say was positive. The exterior appearance is "run down", shower water pressure was low, ice machine was not working in the morning, no receptacles available on one side of the king bed. No room to hang clothes (rack was above mini fridge/microwave).
Night clerk was pleasant, day clerk seemed to care less that we stayed there.
We got what we paid for.... not much.
- Patricia (10/5): - Stayed for the night.
- Mark (6/5): Just ok - Was ok. At breakfast the hard boiled eggs are left out for flies and people to cough over if it happened. Ok for cleanliness but not the cleanest
- Tiffany (4/5): - It was a slum hotel; it felt dangerous to be there. Also they required a $100 deposit that was not mentioned on Hotels.com. I will be using Travelocity from now on.
- Douglas (10/5): - It was very clean.
- Sheila (6/5): - Decent for a one night stay. Ice machine was broken. Room was clean enough. Average stay.
- Damarys (2/5): - Very dirty not what is advertised
- Daniel (2/5): - The shower flooded the bathroom
- Bryan (2/5): - Old and run down. Police visit this place often I bet. Not worth the price. Spend more go somewhere else. Scary, dirty, bad place.
- Ernest (10/5): - It was a nice place people were plesant
- Sofia (4/5): - Staff is super friendly! But the room was kinda dirty and smelled like pee.
- Susan (4/5): - The property was run down. Needed repairs.
- Karen (2/5): - Close to the airport! Downhill from there. If it’s late it will do, otherwise wait til your out of Bangor
- Marja (2/5): - My hotel was disgusting. If I wanted some crack, I could definitely get it there
- Johnathan (10/5): - Everyone is always friendly and rooms are clean and smell very nice!
- Johnathan (10/5): - Always a pleasure staying there
- Youel (2/5): - Dirry
- Jaehyun (6/5): - I asked to fix dryer but they didn't fix.
- Kristie (4/5): - Bed is comfy. Room is dirty. Bathroom is nasty. People live here long term. Tub dont drain.
- Shawn (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Check in was easy and hassle free. However the premises leave more to be desired. It appears that some rooms are long term low income tenants, junk cars in the back area of parking lot, someone was actually doing repairs on their car in the yard. Disappointed that building and room looked nothing like pictures.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This is a convenient place to stay during a concert with the dog. It is not super updated but is realtively clean. Might not recommend for single person as you may not feel safe alone.
- Brad (6/5): - Cheap motel in a convenient location
- Hannah (6/5): - Sketchy area but it was about 5 minutes from the airport
- Tiffany A (6/5): - I was told you have to ask for service so in a10 day stay I kept having to ask for clean towels even after the first night I requested them for every day and trash removal. They only brought 4 times without me asking. Limited breakfast items. Staff was friendly though.
- Pascale (6/5): - Le lit pas confortable et il ne faudrait pas dire que le petit déjeuner est inclus car il n'y a pas de déjeuner, juste du café pas bon , du jus, des bananes, des pommes et de muffins
- Ashley (6/5): - The check in process was great and fast! We did request a room that we could park outside of, and they made sure to give us that….however, when we went out for supper and came back; there were no spots available except the very back of the hotel.
The room did have an odd smell that bothered us, but the air conditioning worked, and beds weren’t terrible. The shower is quite small, and no coffee machine in room. The staff were very nice
- Rachael (10/5): - Very kind man who checked us in. Answered all questions and did it with a smile 😃
- Madison (2/5): - Probably should’ve read more reviews before staying here. As soon as I left my car, a guy on the second floor balcony was yelling at me. A lot of people just loitering about. At 2am, a bike revved its engine right outside our room & woke us up. We felt dirty and unsafe the whole stay, but only stayed here because we were breaking up our road trip & needed a cheap place to sleep, but wouldn’t do it again. Will add that the staff was friendly.
- Lisa (8/5): You could do worse - It's a budget motel. It's not glamourous. It's decent enough though. Clean, comfortable.
- Meaghan (8/5): - The service is all around was actually pretty good. The staff are very friendly and kind. It was a very quick check in and check out. I appreciate the 11 o’clock check out time because I didn’t get back from my trip until pretty late so I slept in. I wasn’t awake for the roughest 9 to 10.
- Greg (6/5): - The room was clean and we only wanted it for sleeping. They need to up grade the pillows, add a few more to the rooms, we had to ask for additional towels and there are no trash cans outside of rooms, which we felt was strange. The hotel is not a five star but nice enough at a 2.5 star.
- Andre (2/5): - Probably my worst experience of hotel with my family.
Bad service, stinky room, terrible AC, room for 4 people with only 2 towels, sheets…
Included breakfast… one pack of 12x blueberry muffin, some banana and granola bar.
Orange and apple juice machine was serving only water and coffee… you can imagine.
People sitting outside on the motel balcony who looked very strange making fire in the back of the parking lot of the motel…
Was Way too expensive for the service we had.
We thought about sleeping in our car.
I strongly not recommend this place for family stay.
- Daryl (8/5): Decent with a fair price. - Easy access from the interstate and great staff. Updated looking and relatively clean inside. Quiet location also. Very run down and many things broken, missing or not there at all, except the large holes in the bathroom wall where there used to be a metal bar or rack. Needs a thorough room cleaning, not just a very basic sweep and go.
- Alex (10/5): - Excellent customer service!
- Sandra (8/5): - Front desk staff could be a bit kind and friendly
- Sasha (2/5): - Gross! Long black hairs in the shower & the toilet. & The smoke detector had tissues stuck inside of it. The deadbolt does not work so I could not lock my door. Smells of mould.
*** Staff made me feel extremely uncomfortable as a female alone; watching me walk away, I turned around to see if I was still being watched and sure enough I was every time. *****
- Catherine (10/5): - The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable for my one night stay. The guy at the desk was friendly and provided a quick check in process. Parking was not an issue. My mom and I felt safe on property. The outside of the building is not a great representation of the clean rooms, so don't let that scare you away!
- Shannon (6/5): - The shower looked to be clean up top. When compare the top of the shower to the tub part of the one piece shower, the tub was not kept clean. Dirt in the corners of the bathroom. No hair dryer. The white towels had stains on them.
The beds were clean. I would choose a different location in the future.
- Judy (6/5): Comfy bed,clean - Clean room,had some renovations done.Comfortable bed
